It became known as the Iran-Contra affair.
The things that happened were so bizarre and insane,

Ocho, let's go.
That's crazy, man.
That's crazy when you think about it.
You know, we had, what, maybe three months?
Three months.
A little over three months.
About three months?
536,000?
Yep.
Like, think about that.
That's amazing.
Yeah, actually, we started the channel October the 8th.
We've been going, but we didn't have a channel.
So we officially started the channel October the 8th.
So November, December.
So we're a little less than three months.
Actually, we're about another two weeks away from three months.
That's crazy.
Man, you know how hard it is?
Obviously, I'm just learning about YouTube and all this stuff.
And people always talk to me about how difficult it is to build a following.
And for us to be able to build a following this fast at the rate we're going, man, shh.
Ain't no telling where we're we gonna be at in another three months
oh joe the thing is here's the thing the podcast market is really saturated because everybody's
saying well hey he's doing it i can do it she's doing it i can do it and so what you have to do
now yeah it's easy to start a podcast you get your camera you say i want a youtube channel
and a microphone hey you can shoot it in your space. Go here. I am in my office. You're in your office and you go.
But here's the here's the trick.
Now, you're never going to get a chance to get them again.
So when you launch for the very first time and you get one or you get five or you get
10.
Yeah.
And they watch you.
Will they come back?
Right.
If they like what you have to say, if they like,
if you're entertaining,
if you're informative,
if you're educational,
they'll come back.
Right.
If you're not,
they're gone.
And so when you hear the saying,
you never get a second chance to make a first impression.
Right.
Because remember,
when we first started this thing,
we got like 2000 people in the live chat.
Yeah. Yeah. We went away from the live chat. Yeah, yeah.
We went away from the live chat for a minute.
Started just doing VOD.
Right.
We come back.
I said, no, hey, I think we can do it.
I think because people need to hear this, what we're saying.
Because, yeah, you can hear it on the video.
But to hear it live the very first time.
There's something about being at a comedy show, Ocho.
You're actually in the audience versus, oh you should have heard it and then it coming out
or kevin hart on the tour when he when he uh i forget the name of his tour but when it came out
can you imagine what it would have been like you're live in the audience and to hear that
for the very first time right so uh but they love us they followed us and they keep coming back so we keep
trying to give you uh info great information entertaining you guys so uh we really want to
thank you the pats beat the broncos uh rylan kicks a game-winning field goal for the pats
the broncos tied up late but uh they turned they give the ball back to the Patriots, and the Patriots do a great job of getting in field goal range.
It disappeared.
Getting in field goal range and kicking the,
I think it was a 56-yard field goal,
and it was right down the middle.
And considering how bad he had struggled early,
he missed the field goal right, he hit a P18.
Makes the extra point.
Upright.
So that was a big win for the Patriots.
It was really, really deflating for the Broncos.
They didn't play well with the exception of maybe a few series in the game,
but the Broncos didn't play well.
Ocho, the first snap of the game, they sacked the quarterback.
They get a fumble, like on the five-yard line,
and they end up turning the ball over on downs at the two-yard line.
You've got to get something out of that.
You would like to get points out of that drive.
I mean, excuse me, a touchdown out of that drive.
Yeah, drive, yeah.
But you didn't get anything.
And the worst case scenario, you get three.
Give the Patriots credit.
The defense bent.
But, I mean, they did a great job of holding them out of the end zone.
And then the Broncos got really sloppy in there.
Like, once they got a 7-3 lead, broncos got really sloppy in there like once they they got a 7-3 lead but
they got really sloppy you know uh they turned the ball over a couple of times fumbled on the
kick return and gave up a touchdown without the offense even getting on the field which is very
deflating but give them credit they fought got the way back into the ball game and i thought they had
an opportunity to uh to possibly win the game because they forced the Patriots to go three and out, Ocho.
And so now they get the ball with two minutes to go.
And I'm like, okay.
But, Ocho, you know this.
In a situation like that, you really need something good to happen on first down
because that's the down that really, okay, yeah, we got this.
Yeah, we good.
Give you a little rhythm.
Give you a little rhythm.
Yep. Give you a little rhythm. Give you a little rhythm. Yep.
Give you a little rhythm.
Give you a little confidence.
You got a first down.
You get 13, 14, 15 yards.
You get a big play.
Now you cooking.
Now everything.
But now you throw a screen.
You catch him in a blitz, but it's a running back.
He peels off.
Tackle P. Ryan for a three-yard loss.
Now second and 13.
Yeah.
Now you behind the eight ball.
But I don't know why they were in such a rush.
Because you do realize now, if you don't get this first down,
you're going to put the ball back with them with a minute.
Right.
And they got a timeout.
So I didn't understand the rush of why the Broncos were in such a hurry
once they were second and 13.
That's just me. What was kind of some of your takeaway from the game i think my takeaway i mean there were there were the broncos played
good in spurts there was there was a series that looked really good where sean payton had a great
game plan for russell to allow him to i like to i like to call it cook they allowed him to cook
they got him outside the pocket obviously he was sacked five times but they got outside the pocket, allowed him to use his legs a little bit to make a few
completions and drive down the field. I think that might've been sometime in the third quarter
when they looked the best as an offense. Other than that, they had sputtered the entire game.
There was really no consistency offensively, and they really couldn't get a rhythm or that
confidence you spoke of with a minute or two minutes left on the clock when they were trying to rush. I'm not sure why they were rushing and want to get the ball back
to the Patriots just in that scenario. With Courtland Sutton going down, that really hurt.
I think that really hurt them offensively, especially in 50-50 ball situations where I'm
sure Russ would have wanted to use him in that situation. My little nephew, little Brandon,
he got a nice little touchdown, little Brandon, he came.
He got a nice little touchdown at the end,
obviously getting a two-point conversion to tie the game up.
After that, I think the Broncos played down to the competition.
I think the Patriots' defense doesn't get enough credit.
Yeah, they solid.
They don't get enough credit, but they deserve because of the losing record.
And I'm not sure what Bailey Zappi ate for breakfast this morning,
but the past few weeks that he started,
the offense itself has looked completely different.
It's looked completely different.
And I'm not sure if they're going to continue with Mac Jones as of next year.
Bailey Zappi seems to be the answer, you know, so far.
And he did a great job.
He didn't turn the ball over.
The thing that was killing Mac Jones, okay,
even if you don't pick up first down, you can't turn it over. He's throwing interceptions. He's f turn the ball over the thing that was killing mac jones okay even if you don't pick up first down you can't turn it over he's throwing interceptions he's fumbling the ball so now that is that's exacerbating the situation it's frustrating the offense it's frustrating the
defense because we're having to fend uh extra possessions that you're costing us the one thing
that you can say about bailey zappy he hasn't turned the ball over he's a little bit more
athletic i think the mac jones because he's able to get out of harm's way and make some plays down the field.
But I agree with you.
I mean, at one point in time in the second half,
like maybe the start of the fourth quarter,
the Broncos were minus seven yards in the second half.
And I'm like, bro, how do you get minus seven yards?
I mean, and they had like two or three possessions,
and they had sack Russ and Russ had fumbled the football, and so they didn't get any extra opportunity to pick up any yards. I mean, and they had like two or three possessions and they had you know, they had sack Russ and Russ had fumbled
the football and so they didn't get any extra
opportunity to pick up any yards. But
you know what? Maybe this is the best thing
because you know what, Ocho? Sometimes you
can make the playoff and it gives you a false sense
that we're close. The Broncos aren't
close. They're not. And
all the playoffs would have done would have fooled them. It would
have fooled our fans in Bronco country and
it would have fooled a lot of them players. See, I told
you, we made the playoffs. Bro, y'all not close.
You don't have enough
playmakers. You don't have enough
playmakers on the defensive side. I was kind
of disappointed in Pat Sertan today
because on third down, now
if they go to the other side, I can
live with that. But ain't no way in hell
if I'm that dog, you throw the third down on me,
Ocho, you're challenging me?
Right, right, right.
Can you imagine somebody throwing at
Time, Rivas,
Charles Wilson, Rod Wilson, and Nils Williams?
You need a third down play.
And the best corner on your team,
one of the best in the NFL, I want you.
I'm going to challenge you.
That don't sound right like you tell me, Ocho. That don't sound
right to me. Right, right, right, right, right. I don't know. I don't sound right like you tell me that don't sound right to me right right right
right right hey that's uh i don't know i don't know i i wouldn't when i look at it i look at
the landscape and the dynamic of that offense and defense the defense is really good i think they're
really good they played well as opposed to how they look when they play the dolphins and the
dolphins put up 70 on them yeah after that game they have been decent they have been decent to that point and i don't i don't know what i don't know what happened
tonight i'm not sure what's wrong with the broncos in general i was very excited when russell wilson
and that maturation between him and sean payton started to work and they started to look efficient
offensively and russ looks somewhat of himself and not he looks somewhat of himself as what we
what we're used to seeing when he was with seattle instead of a shell of himself and not a, he looks somewhat of himself as what we're used to seeing
when he was with Seattle, instead of a shell of himself, he lost, he lost a little weight.
He became a little bit more mobile using his legs. They were getting him out of the pocket.
He was making plays with his, with his arm, with his legs. And it's a game like today that you have
to come out and win and make a statement. If you want to feel like you deserve to make the playoffs.
But again, like you said, if they were to make it it i'm not sure what the what the um standings are for them now but you would just be
fooling yourself yeah just be fooling yourself with a lot with a with a win today they had a 42
chance of making it with a loss there's a five percent chance of making it so the likelihood
of them making the playoffs with two games to go isn't very good they need a lot of they need a
a lot of bad things to happen to someone else but you need a lot of bad things to happen to someone else,
but you need a lot of good things to happen
to you. But here's the thing. Now
you're hoping because you didn't take care of your
business. If you take care of your
business, don't worry about it. Man, if
they lose this and this team ties
and an eagle land on the flagpole
at 12 o'clock, we can make the playoffs.
Nah, bro. If you take care
of your business,
you don't have to look and see what someone else is doing. You don't have to worry about what they cooking because your meal is satisfactory, but it is what it is. I think they need a lot of things
that the offensive line isn't nearly good enough. They don't, they didn't run the ball particularly
well last night. I'm looking at this dance of Ocho and the, the, the, the rush, the rush yards, what they have, that's 61, 81, 83 yards on 17, 21, 22, 23 carries.
That's not enough.
Not enough to get it done.
Not enough to get it done.
No.
Yeah.
So give the Patriots credit.
Go on the road.
Win a hard-fought ball game.
Found a way to win.
Could have gotten, you know, you have a 23-7
lead, all of a sudden it's
23-23 late in the ball game.
You have every reason to
like, man, we had this game, we
let it slip away, but they said, nope,
it ain't slip away. We still got an excellent chance
to win this ball game, and they dug down
and they won the ball game. So congratulations
to them, and they win
and the Broncos uh taste defeat
uh tombo said you can't tell me sean ain't sabotaging denver on the last drive you called
the exact same type of play that had you down 16 to begin with well ocho and i said it earlier i
wasn't pleased with the play call and i know a lot a lot of teams like to start with the screen
but a lot of defenses know you like to start with the screen so teams like to start with the screen. But a lot of defenses know you like to start with the screen.
Start with the screen.
So you like to start with the screen.
They know you like to start with the screen.
So you play the screen.
Exactly.
Exactly.
So they found the Patriots found a way to win.
So give those guys credit.
So game we go into next.
The Miami Dolphins. Hey. credit so game we go into next the miami dolphins hey beat the dallas cowboys 20 22 20 jason sanders hit a 29 yard field goal as time expired to give miami its 11th win of the season he hit five field
goals on today set a dolphin's record three of at least 50 yards. And they win.
Tua had passed for 293 yards, 24-37, 293, a touchdown.
Dak Prescott was 20-32, 253, and two touchdowns.
CeeDee Lamb, six catches for a buck 15.
Tyreek had nine for 99 after sitting out last week.
What was your takeaway?
What was your big takeaway?
Hey, this might have been the best game of the day.
I really enjoyed it.
I really enjoyed it.
They went back and forth.
Tool was good.
Dak was good.
They didn't turn the ball over.
One thing that I don't like that the Cowboys did,
goddamn CeeDee Lamb been cooking.
Obviously, I'm a Dolphins fan,
but CeeDee Lamb has been cooking week in and week out. He comes out, has a phenomenal game at the beginning, phenomenal
quarters. Excuse me. He had four catches touching the ball. They moving the ball up and down the
field. That is the Cowboys. Then all of a sudden CD lamb disappears. He disappears out the game plan and opportunities don't even exist until what?
Maybe the late, was it maybe middle of the third?
Right.
Early in the fourth?
I mean, what are we doing?
Are we even serious about competing and wanting to win the game when your best playmaker is not a part of the game plan?
Why are you even allowing the Dolphins defense, excuse me, to dictate where the ball goes?
Yeah.
Move him around.
Give him the ball.
You don't have to because at this point in time,
they're not having Jalen Ramsey travel with him.
So now I'm working on because if you look,
if you say Jalen Ramsey and Zabian Howard are one, two,
those are your two best corners.
So now I'm working on three and four.
Why I got to move?
Why you got to move me? Let me work with you guys in the slot because ramsey's not coming in the
slot howard really doesn't play the slot so i'm cool you ain't gotta move me just what left or
right i got two guys in me that i know that are uh that i'm superior to feed me the ball so yeah
although i agree with you he had 10. He should have had 17 targets.
Easily.
Easily.
The Cowboys are in a gauntlet.
They're in a gauntlet of games that they have to win or they should win because the ramifications of these games are important for them making the playoffs.
And the team that they're playing are going to be the type of team that you're playing in the playoffs.
So, why not throw the kitchen sink out there and get the confidence on your team,
especially offensively, the confidence for Dak.
CeeDee Lamb disappears halfway in the game
after going crazy the first half.
Right.
Then he doesn't touch the ball until what,
late in the third or maybe early in the fourth.
It makes no sense.
But then you're serious about winning
and being in the playoffs.
Yeah.
Dolphins even play really good though. because here's the thing also the thing if you're the dolphin
defense what are you playing the pass the cowboys don't even really try to run the football i don't
know if they can't run it or they don't make a commitment to run it because all i know is mike
mccarthy said at the end of the at the end of last year when they made the switch and moved on from
kellen moore he wanted more of a balanced offense. He told
Jerry Jones a lie. He wanted to get
Kellen Moore out of there because he wanted to call the plays.
Because this offense looks a lot
like it did last year with no running
game. And they haven't run the...
They might have one 100-yard rush game
this year, and maybe that was... If I'm not mistaken,
that was the first game of the season against the Giants.
But they have no commitment.
Now, granted, this offensive line is getting up on age.
Zach Martin is not the same Zach Martin.
Tyron Smith has missed another game.
He's missed on average since 2015, I think, about three games a season.
Since 2020, he's missed the average of four games a season.
He's not the same.
Because remember now, when Zeke first got in, they moved people to eight.
Oh, yeah.
That thing was like Moses.
They partied. They getting you up out of the 8. Oh, yeah. That thing was like molding.
They partied.
They getting you up out of the club.
Yeah. Quick.
Yeah.
They were bouncers.
They had five bouncers.
And they were throwing people up out of the club.
You're right.
They were throwing people, mofos out of the club.
You got to get up out of here.
It's time to go.
And I just don't know.
I mean, Tony Pollard, 12 for 35.
Dak had five for 25. But he had a 22-yard run.
I like Dak today because today seemed like he was very active.
He wasn't hesitant.
Oh, man, they got his thing covered.
I'm out the gate.
Yeah, I'm out of there.
Yeah, he was very, very decisive, very decisive in his decision-making.
He was, but they don't – I mean, the thing is, if I play the Cowboys,
I'm playing for the pass because they're not going to make a commitment to run, making he was but uh they they don't i mean the thing is if i'm the guy if i play the cowboys i'm
playing for the pass because they're not gonna make a commitment to run especially if they run
the ball the first couple times and you stop them oh they good day hey all right doc it's on you now
it's on you uh but like you said give the dolphins create a credit tyreek 14 targets
nine catches 99 yards he dropped one he. Hey, that would have been what?
97, 96?
Because you see what?
But see, here's the thing, Ocho.
What do you got to do, Ocho?
Once he got past Bland, he got to start getting back.
He stayed in that line.
Now you got to get back.
Why?
Because just think about it.
If you had released outside, where would you have been?
I don't care what your release
is you know what ocho you could go in motion and go out the other side as long as when my back foot
hit that fifth step and you what you're supposed to do be at 42 and four i'm cool with it he needed
to get back wide and because he didn't you see how he tried to reach over here and catch it
where if he got back wide it hit it right here. It would have fell right in the bread basket. Yeah.
Right in the bread basket.
And he'd have pieced him out.
And so now you get 97.
Now, Ocho, you know what happens.
You get that first catch, and it's a big one.
A big one.
Ooh, Ocho, I'm about to get me a two-piece.
I'm about to get me a 200 today.
Matter of fact, today would have been a 200-yard day. 200 and some change.
Easy.
Easy.
But he had another opportunity.
Remember late in the fourth quarter?
He ran,
he ran a deep end cut
and threw it behind him
because he was about
to come out the backside
on that one.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Because the safety
had taken a horrible angle.
He was about to come out
the backside.
That's why he started hopping,
started jumping
because he's like,
damn,
I missed this opportunity.
You already know.
And you know,
the funny thing about it is he's going to have another week to be able to do it because they got the Ravens next week.
Yeah.
And the Ravens ain't changing them nothing based on the way they play the game.
They feel they have two good corners.
And Marlon Humphrey, I can't remember number 20.
I can't remember number 20 on his last name.
Yeah.
But they're going to be in his face.
They're going to be in his face.
But here's the thing.
I think it's too late to get two bans.
You think so? He needs
about 200 yards each game. Because
remember, Ocho, he got hurt.
Remember, he got hurt? The ankle, yeah.
And then he missed the game.
Yeah. So now...
He missed about six quarters worth
of production. Yes, yes.
Okay. So now, where he's
at 1,600, he'd have been at
1,800. Right. Now, with two games to play, he's at 1 he'd have been at 1800 right now with two games to play he's at 1800
yeah have a nice game now you're trying to go in this man i'm trying to get a buck 50 against
the raven right so that for all i need is a 50 yards against the last game of the season
yeah and i guess you're right right and i'm at two man uh but this was a much this was a very
needed win for the dolphins ocho because and you know
people say the narrative but there's no narrative you guys have not beat a team
in a calendar year so it's not a narrative it's facts right it's facts i mean i don't know what
you want me i don't know what y'all want me to say. And the Cowboys, again, 20 points.
Where they scored 40 points at home,
they got less than what they normally get on the road.
They normally get about 22, 21.7, 22 points.
They got 20 today.
The defense, I mean, and the defense didn't play bad.
No, I'm getting ready to say that.
Normally, I say that normally i i said
that the key for the dolphins you know winning this game would be running the ball the same
way the cardinals did the same way the bills were able to do but they did okay against the run they
did okay against the run right and but here's the thing i thought the the the dolphins tried to
attack him wrong see they're trying to get the edges you got to go downhill against them yeah
you you have to because they're too fast they're too fast you're're trying to get the edges. You got to go down here against them. Yeah, you have to because they're too fast.
They're too fast. You're trying to get the edge.
Look at James Cook. Look how James Cook attacked
them. Look how Christian McCaffrey attacked them.
Look at James Conner.
That's what you got to go because they're
shooting up field. So it's going to be hard
for you to get the edges. And you see they
strung things out a lot.
Get down here. But again,
the defense ain't forced turnovers.
You see how different this defense looks,
how different this team looks when they don't get turnovers.
When you can't put that offense on a short field,
when you can't get picked fixes and scooping scores,
you see how this team look.
I mean,
y'all might not like my analysis.
Oh,
you a cowboy hater,
but the facts speak for themselves.
I ain't told one lie.
I told him, I told him last week. I said it like that. I did like
my ex. I like him. I just don't trust
him. I like the cowboy. I just
don't trust him, Ocho. I just
don't trust him.
I just
don't trust him. I don't know what they want
me to do with that, Ocho.
But that's a good one right there.
That's a good one.
Miami got another garlic.
Think about it.
They got the Ravens
coming out. And then they got closed out
the season at home against Buffalo.
Buffalo really needs it because
Buffalo's not out of the woods yet
because they need these last
two games to get themselves into the playoffs.
Right. I don't believe, they might
can catch, I don't know if they can catch the Dolphins.
The Dolphins probably need to win one of these
last two games because the
Dolphins are trying to like, hold on, maybe
if the Ravens, hey, if Sam Fran
take care of the Ravens tomorrow,
we'd know from next week, we're in the
catbird seat, we're the number one seat.
Matter of fact, you're right because obviously the Dolphins are already in the playoff.
They're 11-4.
They're second in the AFC right now.
So if the Ravens do lose, who do the Ravens got?
Sam Fran tomorrow night.
Oh, boy.
That's going to be a good one.
Yeah.
God damn.
And I don't want to underestimate the Ravens defense because there ain't no telling what
Raven defense come to play.
Right.
But it all is based on matchups.
Matchups.
How do they match up well against IU and goddamn Debo and Christian McCaffrey?
Ain't no telling what's going to happen.
Yeah, but the Ravens, that defense better be on its best behavior
because we know what they do at home.
They annihilate people.
It ain't no close ball games.
It ain't no walk-off field goals.
They beat people by 21.
They beat people by 17, Ochoa.
Right, right, right, right.
We saw them go on the road, and we saw the job they did against the Eagles.
We saw what they did to what we thought was a good Cowboys team.
Yeah, Cowboys team.
We saw what they did to Seattle twice.
We saw what they did to the Rams. We saw what they did to the Rams.
Now, maybe this is a different Rams team that's going to come at the end of the season.
But we saw them.
They take teams apart.
Yeah.
And especially when they got their entire arsenal, when Iuke and Debo and Kittle and Trent Williams and C-Mac, when they're playing, and Jennings,
they got tremendous guys that run up to the catch.
Offensive line is very good.
They can run block.
They can pass block.
Brock Purdy has been sensational.
I believe he's still the MVP right now.
It'll be interesting to see how the game –
And the defense is playing well too.
Yes, yes, yes.
Now, they're not suffocating.
But Tredavious Ward.
Boy, he the real deal.
Who do you match him up on?
You put him on Zay Flowers.
Do you send him with Odell?
Does he travel?
You send him with Odell.
Because Zay Flowers is a little, to me, it'd be a mismatch.
Even though Zay is good, but Zay is a bigger corner.
He's a bigger corner, so you need to put him on Odell. You have to have someone
small.
Ward.
Yeah.
You say Zay is a small receiver
and he's a big corner.
I don't want...
That's a mismatch.
That's a mismatch.
It's going to be very interesting to see how
this game shapes out uh the cowboys
they lose on the road again the questions are still going to be there i'm gonna have the same
i'm putting the same questions on the test until you answer the test correctly right that's what
i'm gonna do ocho i'm gonna give you the same i'm gonna give you the same questions right that
don't ask me oh people want us to lose.
No, no, no, no.
You don't get to reap the benefits of being on America's team.
And then when you don't perform and we ask why, you talk about we want you to lose or we rooting against you.
No, no, no.
You reaping the benefits of being on America's team.
That's why you think you're getting all these chunky suits.
Why you think you're getting all these commercials?
Why you getting all these mattresses commercials?
You think you're getting that because why?
Because there are other quarterbacks that's playing better than that.
There are other defensive players playing better than Micah.
You get that for one reason.
Well, it's not the only reason, but it's a large part of the reason
because you're on the Cowboys.
So you want
all that right okay so when we come and we ask questions what's going on don't be mad don't be
mad yeah do like the dolphins there was a narrative out there they can't be good teams they can't be
teams with a winning record but it came up and they showed up. Ta-da, exhibit A. You know you in the courtroom?
Exhibit A.
Okay, Dallas.
Okay.
Now, you beating, I don't know who they got.
They got the Giants again.
I think they got the Giants again.
Who else?
They got the Lions.
Lions.
Oh, that's going to be a good game.
They got the Lions and they got the Commanders.
J Smooth 41.
Shay Ocho, please tell me why Dallas has no run game.
O-line can't stop a part-warner team.
Rowntree is questionable besides CD.
People will blame Dak.
Now, hold on.
Ocho, I said this many years ago when they got rid of Amari.
And I understood why.
Because they wanted CD Lamb to be the number one receiver.
Right, right, right.
And Amari said, I ain't going nowhere.
Look at Brandon Cook, and I think he's a solid receiver.
He's had 1,000 yards in New England, New Orleans.
He's been, yeah, yeah, sensational.
But he ain't Amari.
And Michael Gallup has not been the same since that knee injury.
I understand he'll make a play here or there,
but he's not the same receiver, Ocho.
I like Tolbert.
He made a big-time catch over Xavier Howard.
He's young.
He needs to put more of these catches and games together.
But just imagine if you got Seedy and you got Amari.
Now, I don't know if anybody knows this amari has the
second most 200 yard receiving games in nfl history yeah he and to are the only two men to
have three 200 yard games one on three different teams now you tell me you have cd doing what he
doing and you have amari how would this offense look it looked crazy maybe it'd be crazy but i
think i think obviously i think was it it was a money situation right they didn't want to pay
whatever it might have been what base it wasn't the money because jerry got the money they didn't
think amari was playing up to the 20 million dollar price tag well they purposely weren't
giving him the opportunity to make sure he played up to the $20 million. Don't get me started on that.
Because here's the thing.
They felt they overpaid to begin with.
They felt that the only reason they gave him $20 million
was to keep him away from Washington
because he was a free agent.
They didn't franchise him.
He was a free agent.
Washington put the money out on the table.
So he's like, if I'm going to get $20 million,
I might as well get $20 million,
stay in a city in a
system that i'm familiar with with no state taxes because remember ocho when you're in free agency
and you want somebody you got to overpay because if the money is the same why would i leave you
and have to learn an entirely different system right get familiar with a whole different
quarterback learn a whole new city if i'm married i got a girlfriend now we got to learn
the whole city over if the money is the same i'm gonna stay stay right you're gonna have to you're
gonna have to make me you're gonna have to do something pay me more than what i'm worth right
now it's a situation like the uh uh raiders now green bay did say okay we'll match. But he's like, if y'all match, hmm, $137 million, no state taxes,
that's about 8% over the life of the contract,
I'm going to save me probably about $10 to $11 million.
$10 million, yeah.
$10 to $11 million, that'll go a long way
because I ain't going to be playing football forever.
So that's how you have to look at it.
So the Cowboys felt, well, we really didn't want to play Amari 20 million to begin with.
We just didn't want him to go to a division.
That's the last thing you want, Ochoa, to go to a division rival?
Yeah.
And I got to deal with you twice a year now?
Yeah.
And now he going to be feeling some type of way?
That's why teams are very, very cautious about trading within the division.
Division, right.
I mean, more times than not, they try to trade you completely out of the conference.
Hey, you in the AFC?
No, you going to the NFC.
If you in the NFC, you going to the AFC.
And the funny thing about it is if you feel that much about that certain individual going
into division and you don't value them, if you don't value them, it shouldn't matter
where they go because you don't want them anyway.
You don't want them.
And the fact that you don't want them in the division. That tells you all.
Oh,
stop saying that.
It's like,
it's like,
it's like a young lady.
You date.
I don't care where you go.
Don't you date my homeboy?
Don't you date somebody from my school?
Don't you date nobody from
my school?
I like,
I like,
I like where you went with
that.
I like,
I like where you went with
that.
That's a good one.
I don't care,
but I do care.
I care that you stay away
from him. Right. That's a good analogy. I like that. That's a good one but i don't care but i do care i care that you stay away from him right that's
a good analogy i like that that's a good one hey that's nasty work too yeah yeah man oh oh joe uh
oh oh i know you don't know this oh we got 26 000. on criminal e hey mary oh it's oh hey um
it's gonna be midnight yeah m it's finna be midnight.
Yeah.
Merry Krim...
Wait, hold on, not yet.
We gotta wait till it hit midnight.
It's 1159.
Yeah.
So, you know, 1159 mean it's Christmas.
You know, Santa got...
He got the radio up to his head, too.
He listening.
He got the boys on that thing.
They doing that thing already.
He say, I like this.
Yeah, we understand.
I like this.
Oh, that's it.
It's midnight.
Merry Christmas, y'all.
I love you all 26 000 are you
uh from my family to yours uh merry christmas happy holidays and all that good stuff um
and you can open up one gift y'all can open up one gift that's it man you're teasing somebody
what gift i'm trying to get up everything nah nah you gotta wait you gotta wait till everybody
else get up you know once midnight hit my mama used to let my grandma used to let me open up one guy
but come on get up now open up one gift and the rest of them you wait till the morning
barney mary porter wasn't playing that you open that gift you open up a gift by 7 30 8 o'clock
you couldn't get up early what oh boy wake up you get You open them up when they wake up. Yeah. Hey, you know, I'm restless.
I'm kicking my feet.
Right, right.
Boy, be still, my grandma.
Boy, be still.
You know, I try to do everything to get you to wake right up.
Hey, you know what I love?
I know we're going to get back to the football topic,
but you know what I love about Christmas Day is the presents.
You know, it's all good.
Today is obviously French fry. You know, my one-year-old, she gets to experience her first Christmas, you know what i love about christmas day is the presents you know it's all good today is uh
obviously french fry you know my one-year-old she gets to experience her first christmas where she
actually knows what's going on so she's got presents she does she see the lights she's
excited she can talk a little bit now so i can't wait to see her face in the morning but in miami
you know i'm not sure how you guys celebrate we a lot of people get four-wheelers yamaha banshees
and you know we, we love,
we love the ride in the streets.
And I think I might do that today.
I think I might do that today.
Find somebody,
a friend of mine and get a dirt bike and just ride,
just ride in the streets.
We'd be like 50,
60 deep.
Nope.
That ain't what,
that ain't,
I ain't gonna say that's not what they do.
That's not what I do.
My grandfather once told me,
me and my brother asking for a motorcycle.
He said, boy, they call it asphalt.
It's your ass and it's your fault.
No, sir.
That's what he said.
So that's out of the question, don't you?
We don't fool with that.
You was in the country.
I know you rode four wheelers and dirt bikes.
No, no, no, no, no.
What you call them?
My grandma would play my grandmother.
And we couldn't.
I wouldn't even risk it.
I wouldn't even risk getting on one away from home.
Because if I got hurt, they're going to hurt me.
As soon as I get well, they're going to hurt me again.
So, God, leave that alone.
You know what, baby?
I saw that boy on one of them old sickles.
I saw, yeah.
Sickles?
Yeah.
That baby boy. I don't know which one it was. i think of that baby boy oh no come on man no hell no i love that man you you oh just the
smell of that gasoline it they don't smell like regular gas you know you got to mix it man that
smell and ain't nothing like you know what i'm'll show you i played we played ball and i used
to play on the old asphalt and you look down at that thing and you don't see nothing but that
white meat and here i am black as i am and i don't see nothing but i don't see nothing but white meat
so imagine you remember go ahead hold on speaking of speaking of old school asphalt when you grew
up y'all played y'all played in the middle of the street. Yeah.
And when the cars come,
you yell freeze
and wherever you're at,
everybody got to stay
right where you're at
until the car go by.
Yeah.
Man,
what about throw up tackle?
Y'all play throw up tackle
when you was a shorty?
Tackle the man with the ball.
Yeah.
We call it tackle the man
with the ball.
Yeah.
Okay,
we call it throw up tackle
right here.
Yeah,
absolutely.
Okay,
okay.
What do you think
you learned,
babe?
Hey, they bust you up, Ocho, you better get here. Yeah, absolutely. Okay, okay. What do you think you learned, babe? You better, hey, they bust you up, Ocho.
You better get good.
Oh, yeah.
You got to.
Oh, that's some good memories, man.
Let's see.
Here's the game I want to get to.
Where is it at?
Flacco?
Oh, yeah.
How you know I was going there?
Ocho, let's be real.
And that's what we do.
We real with each other.
Yeah.
At no point in time since his return.
Last year, the little five, six games that he played.
And this year has Deshaun Watson looked as good as Joe Flacco looked in the last three games.
Tell me I'm lying, Ocho.
No, you're not.
You're not lying.
But my question to you is, is as good as Deshaun is, as good as he was and got the money based on what he did in Houston.
He has a good supporting cast, a good supporting cast there offensively.
Can you explain to me why he doesn't look the way Joe Flacco has looked in just four games?
I don't know.
I'm asking you.
You have a better eye than I do.
You have a better eye than I do.
I'm just looking at it from surface level level from from watching from TV how did Joe
Flacco come in and in four weeks
office couch
office couch you know
what if you if you notice what they're doing
it's the same scheme they do a lot of play
action and Joe got a big time
arm you remember the throw that he made
last week on the over route to Amari
yeah and a whole
lot of guys gonna fit that ball in there like that.
Right.
You see the big first ball that he threw to 75 yarder.
Mm hmm.
Joe Flacco.
I mean, look, Joe, you ain't never questioned his arm.
Did you see the ball placement, though?
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
And now I'm sure people in Cleveland are like, okay,
we see what this offense can be.
Right.
With Amari and Njoku.
And they run the ball.
Now, they didn't run the ball great.
I mean, 47, 58, 59, minus five, 54 yards.
54 yards on 20, 27, 29, 30.
They didn't run the ball great.
They didn't run the ball great.
But Joe Flacco was 27-42, 366, three touchdowns, two interceptions.
Amari Cooper had 15 targets, 11 catches, 265, which is a team record.
Ocho, if I see it,
you don't think the front office in Cleveland see it?
You don't think the fans in Cleveland are asking
their family members
at the bars and at the game
why we didn't look like that
with a guy that's getting $250,
a quarter of a bill fully guaranteed? Why we haven't look like that with a guy that's getting 250, a quarter of a bill,
fully guaranteed.
Right.
Why we haven't looked like that?
Mm-hmm.
Now,
and I told you,
and remember I said,
Ocho, at some point in time,
we're going to have to start making excuses.
We can't keep saying,
well,
you know,
he missed a year,
and this and that,
because Joe Flacco got off his couch.
Yeah.
Off his couch,
he driving his kids.
I think Flacco got like five or six kids.
He driving, he in carpool line, in the line. Yeah. Because remember, off his couch. He's driving his kids. I think Flacco got like five or six kids. He's driving.
He's in carpool line, in the line.
Yeah.
Because remember, he had a couple of decent games last year from the Jets.
Wasn't he on the Jets?
I think he was on the Jets.
But the thing you never questioned about Joe was his arm talent.
Yeah, he's always had a big arm.
Always had a big arm.
And if he gets to the playoff, playoff Joe.
Playoff Joe the real deal, man.
And the funny thing about it is the Browns are a team.
What they're doing right now and the confidence that they've built in Joe
and the way they're going offensively, man, you don't want to see the Browns.
Yeah.
You don't want to see the Browns offensively,
and the damn defense ain't bad.
They ain't bad. Yeah. You don't want to see the Browns offensively and the damn defense ain't bad.
They ain't bad.
Yeah.
Oh, no.
Denzel Ward and them boys be playing some ball now.
The game probably
shouldn't have been as close.
I mean, it was 36-22.
It shouldn't have been
that close if Joe
done turned the ball over
because you look at Davis,
you look at Davis Mills
and Case Keenum combined.
They had 201 passing yards on 26 of 49 attempts.
So they slightly,
they slightly over 200 yards or down to 50 passing attempts.
Right.
So,
but Joe was throwing it today and you mentioned they had an interception.
They had two interceptions.
They sacked the quarter.
They got up to the quarterback.
They had three sception. They had two interceptions. They got after the quarterback. They had three sacks.
Yeah.
They had two interceptions.
Two interceptions, three sacks.
They look good.
I didn't think, and you and I had to discuss it.
We were talking about Ocho.
When we found out that Deshaun was going to miss the rest of the season,
I was like, man, they can't go nowhere i mean come on now with with the
quarterback they got come on i didn't see joe i didn't i didn't see joe flacco he wasn't on my
radar i got a question for you yes and i want you to play gm okay so with joe flacco playing the way
you played what do you do coming next year?
You know the business much better than I do
because I don't like the
mean, I don't like the business side of it.
I don't like the politics, but
you would be able to answer this.
I think you're almost forced to have to
keep him. I mean, you still owe
him $185,
$190 million.
Who are you going to get to take that? You're going to pay somebody $190 million. Who are you going to get to take that?
You going to pay somebody $190 million to go away?
I'm just curious.
You know, you got to be.
With Joe playing the way he's playing that,
this ain't no just,
you see what Joe has done the past four weeks?
Yes, I have.
Because here's the thing, Ocho.
It's kind of like when they say
it's cheaper to keep her but i've seen people i've seen men that are billionaires they say i'd
rather i'd rather pay you leave they keep my money in state so here's here this is the question
can can you trade him who who's gonna take who's gonna eat that contract and and
you don't think nobody did no oh joe plus here's the thing you gotta sell this is what you gotta
sell not only do you gotta sell it to another team you gotta sell it to their fan base yeah okay the hardest thing was to convince and this is it's totally different was andy was all
in everybody wanted mike how do you sell that to the fan base right i mean it's only one way to
fix it obviously if they if he's gonna have to he's gonna have to he's gonna have to build his he's gonna have to be he's gonna have to he's gonna have to be immediately next year he's gonna have to he's gonna have to he's gonna have to be on his he's gonna have to be he's
gonna have to he's gonna have to be immediately next year he's gonna have to be the shot the last
deshaun watson that we saw that we're used to when he was in houston he got to got to be okay
okay he's gonna because he's gonna be he's gonna be on a very short leash uh the browns picked up
the third straight win third with uh joe flacco as a starting quarterback, 368, three touchdowns, two picks.
Now they're now three and one as a starter.
I'm Michael Kassin, founder and CEO of 3C Ventures and your guide on Good Company, the podcast where I sit down with the boldest innovators shaping what's next.
In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of Tubi, for a conversation that's anything but ordinary.
We dive into the competitive world of streaming, how she's turning so-called niche into mainstream
gold, connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel seen.
What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core.
It's this idea that there are so many stories out there. And if you can find a way to curate and help the right person discover the right content,
the term that we always hear from our audience is that they feel seen.
Get a front row seat to where media, marketing, technology, entertainment, and sports collide.
And hear how leaders like Anjali are carving out space and shaking things up a bit in the most crowded of markets.

In the fall of 1986, Ronald Reagan found himself at the center of a massive scandal that looked like it might bring down his presidency.
Did you make a mistake in sending arms to Tehran, sir?
No.
It became known as the Iran-Contra affair.
And I'm not taking any more questions in just a second. I'm going to ask...
I'm Leon Nafok, co-creator of Slow Burn.
In my podcast, Fiasco, Iran Contra,

oh did you see this shohei ohtani signed with the Dodgers $700 million contract.
He wears number 17.
Yeah.
Those to the Dodgers,
Joe Kelly,
who's a starting pitcher.
He has number 17.
Right.
He wants it.
He gives it to Shohei.
Shohei buys his wife a Porsche.
Wait,
he didn't charge him. Of course. He's got brought his wife a Porsche. Wait, he didn't charge him?
A Porsche.
He brought his wife a Porsche.
No, but I'm saying normally when you go to other teams,
you have a certain jersey number.
You have to pay the person that has it.
You got to pay him.
Nope.
He just like, hey, hold up.
Check this out.
She offered it.
She said, if you come to the Dodgers,
you can have my husband's jersey number.
Which was.
Wait.
So because the husband, because he gave the jersey up as a sign of respect and gratitude, he buys him a Porsche.
Her.
Her.
She got the Porsche.
She said, even if you come, you can have my husband a number,
and we'll change our baby's name, Kai, to Shokai.
Well, now she got to change the baby name.
So she got a Porsche.
She got to change the baby name.
Well, shoot, that's Ohtani wiping that.
It all led to Shohei thanking them for the special gift.
On Saturday, Ashley Kelly opened her front door to a special delivery from Shohei Otani, a brand new Porsche.
That's live.
That's live.
You know what that feels like to be able to do that?
Obviously, we can buy a car.
We can get something nice for us.
Do you know the kind of money you got to be making to say, you know what?
Because of this nice gesture and you allowing me to wear the jersey number that i adore i'ma buy you i'ma buy you i'ma buy you i'm not
gonna buy you a porsche i'ma buy your wife a porsche 700 million is that enough money i'ma
oh joe because remember i told you when i went to baltimore i was number 84 in denver obviously i
wanted to wear number 84 in Baltimore.
Jermaine Lewis had the number.
The receiver.
Yes.
I offered him and his wife.
He and her Rolexes.
At the time, a presidential Rolex was probably, a man's was probably about $21,000, $22,000.
A woman's Rolex was probably about $14,000.
So I was going to be $35, you know 35 40 000 dollars at the tax he's like no so but i didn't i didn't want 88 i didn't want my odd number
so i was like frank wayne right frank rain white had 82 yeah so i got his number he was with he
was with me in denver before he ended up going to baltimore so i knew him somewhat you know we used to joke with him i called him freaky frank
so i called him i was like freaky frank man i need 82. he's like call me sharpie he's like
sure sharpie you can have it that's not freaky frank i won't feel right would you give me give
me uh the number without properly compensating you i was like well you know what what's your hobby
he say uh sharp I like to fish.
Say no more.
I bought him a bass boat.
The little one with the little seat on it?
Yeah, yeah.
Like the one you see when the fishing tournament?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
With Mike Iaconelli and all those?
They're not expensive, are they?
I must have been wrong.
I think it was about $13,000, $14,000.
But you got to be real.
Okay, that's worth it, though. That was in 2000. Yeah, that's worth14,000. That's worth it, though.
That was in 2000.
Yeah, that's worth it, though.
How much a basketball cost now, Ash?
Yeah, that's definitely worth it, though, especially for your number.
It's something about having your own jersey number.
It wasn't my number, but it was the number that I wanted.
And so he was willing to give me that.
Oh, and Kevin Van van dam i would say
kevin van dam is probably the greatest you know i grew up watching bill dance and roland martin
and ernest hensley all those guys fishing and then i started watching you know mike iconelli
and and and van dam you know kevin van dam so i know a little bit about you know fishing yeah i
don't like i ain't got the patience for
fishing hey so now guess what they call guess what a bass boat costs now about 28 28 000 50 to 100
000 what yeah well that's the high end that's like the best of the best i mean i bought i bought him
a bass boat you know you gotta have you gotta have a aerated uh a well that water so you put
the fish in so the fish stay alive.
Stay alive, right. Yeah, you have a big motor,
a Johnson or an Evinrude. Then you have
to have a trolling motor.
See, man, the people gonna think I'm from the Kajabi.
I'm sorry, Ocho. I'm sorry. I'm just
gonna break it down for you, Ocho.
I'm from Miami. A lot of people
hear fish because there's water everywhere. There's legs
everywhere. But I ain't got the
patience for that. I'm not sitting there waiting on you the patience for that. I'm not sitting there waiting on you
to take a bite. I'm not sitting
there waiting on you to bite. I got another question
though. I'm curious. Jermaine Lewis,
you offered his wife. I offered
him and his wife. He hasn't heard Rolexes.
He said no.
What did he want?
I don't think
he had said I had made a name
for myself in this jersey and I want to keep it, which I didn't have a problem with.
You know, hey, I go to the man because, you know, at the time, I'm a free agent.
I was one of the top, you know, five free agents, you know, that was available.
Now, I could have, you know, but hey, nah, I ain't going to do that.
I ain't going to pull rank.
Right, right, right, right.
Bro, this is what I got to give you about you and your wife.
Here's her Rolexes.
What you think? Nah, man, I'm good. I made a name what I got to give you about you and your wife. Here's her Rolexes. What you think?
Nah, man, I'm good.
I made a name for myself.
It's okay.
Hey, Free Frank, what's up, Sharpie?
Hey, bro, I want 82.
He's like, hey, take it, Sharpie.
You know, I wear any number.
He's like, all I do is snap the ball anyway.
I don't really matter to me.
I said, nah, bro, I don't want to take the number like that.
Hey, it's yours?
Hey, what can I do for you?
He's like, Sharpie, you know, I fish.
So I bought him a bass boat.
Thank you.
Yeah.
So that's how I operate.
But that is a very nice gesture from Ashley Kelly.
And Shohei showed his his faints in a very, very gracious way.
Very great.
Hey, a brand new Porsche.
And I think she's like,
I'm a mom and it didn't
come out of my hubby's pocket.
So she's going to be
cruising around with baby in the car seat
in a Porsche.
That's live.
All the way.
Sleepy Man Juan donated money to Rocio.
He said, your nose look like
they came with your glasses
man look here
bro what you want me to have a look
you want me to have a look
Michael Jackson nose
how that gonna look
bro this is me all me I ain't got no Botox
I ain't had no nose job
I ain't got no fillers
bro I'm a black man
with Nigerian roots i don't
know how you expect me to look and you got nigerian roots too yeah like 97 wait a minute
boy i got 68 i'm 68 nigerian i'm serious you know i'm a yah boy you know about the Yahoo boys no yeah do you I'm I'm well
I'm I'm the leader now but you ain't we'll talk about that later uh he uh Fonte Johnson said oh
where can I get one of those Randy Ross t-shirts I'm feeling that bro I don't know I didn't even
notice that's who was on there you know that that safety. That safety. Chocolate. Hey.
Hey, you be having some dope tees, man.
Where you be getting your t-shirts from?
Man, my sister.
She's like things that she think I would wear.
Right.
That I would like.
You know, I like catchy stuff.
And so plus, I ain't really trying to dress up in there.
I'm trying to be as comfortable as I possibly can for two hours.
So you know it's all about.
But you're doing something for an extended period of time.
You know, it's all about comfort.
You know, get that look, man.
You are dressed for what?
I wish I might.
Devin, Merry Christmas.
Who's this?
Devin Bell.
He said the Merry Christmas to everyone in your family.
Chad, you know, you did wrong for buying that little tree.
Yeah.
Oh, Joe, you know damn well you can't have a christmas tree
that's shorter than the new that's shorter than the baby listen you need to understand women
when a woman says what listen when a woman says baby go get a tree she didn't give me no specifics
on size color what the hell you listen if you send me to get a tree,
I'm going to get the cheapest tree I can find
because it's one day.
We're going to take pictures.
I know you're all about aesthetics.
And it came with lights.
Look at that little ass tree.
Boom.
It's the same size as French Fry.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
A Christmas tree shouldn't be the same size French Fry.
Well, actually, actually, no, that's what I'm saying A Christmas tree shouldn't be the same size French fry Well actually No that's her fault
Cause if you wanted a big tree in this whole production
You could have went and got it yourself
How about this here
Why would you send me
You know I'm finna go find the cheapest tree I could possibly find
You dug that up
You ain't even gonna buy that tree
You dug that up on the way to the tree
Ocho But why This is what i want a rail i want to know why the hell you wait to on christmas
eve to get a tree to begin with because you get the best deals the day before christmas
you get the best deal i do my i just did my shopping uh yesterday and today you get the
best christmas deals right before Christmas hits.
Well, if that's the case, how about you might as well
if that's the case, you should have waited until
the 26th because all the Christmas trees
are going to be worth $5 and just put that
put it up there. I mean, you want the
best deal. Hey, I do the same thing
every year. Before she came along, I always
waited the day before Christmas to get my tree because I
get a better deal. Or you get some
you know, sometimes they be a little scruffy. you know it'd be the ones nobody want to pick out boom
but I got tired I got tired of the pine smell I got tired of the bristles falling off and messing
up the house so what I do I started getting little tiny trees like this and it's efficient and it's
not about it's the thought that counts no no thought I think you're wrong I well she thought
you were crazy who you brought that little ass tree home i think i think it works it doesn't it
works just fine where are you in the chat where if you're in the chat if you love us and it's
christmas send us a thousand dollars right now how much you love us i have how much you love me
i had a tree i had a tree about this tall but i was in an apartment when i was in denver and so
i just put it up
I put it out
three weeks before Christmas
plug it in the wall, they take it out, put it right back
in the little storage area
but Ocho, but you got kids
Ocho, it was just me
it does the job though
it's doing the job, the kids worry about the presents
they don't really care about the tree
you can't put nothing up under there but a bow. You ain't put no presents
up under there. I am the bow.
We're going to put the
presents around. You put the presents around the tree
not under the tree. Under the tree is
when you was young. Now you
put them around the tree.
If you put the presents around and stack them
up, you ain't going to be able to see the tree.
You ain't going to be able to see the tree.
Man, that look like a little cactus, Ocho.
Man, if I ain't know, man, I swear you living in
Arizona.
You put lights on a cactus and try to fool
somebody and tell them that's a Christmas tree.
Man, friends probably gonna get a finger prick
fooling with that Christmas tree, man.
Hey, what you say is a what?
A what? A cactus? Yeah, a little cactus.
Man.
Hey, listen.
I thought I did a good job. I don listen. I thought I did a good job.
I thought I did a good job.
Real, he didn't do no good job.
I didn't spend money.
I didn't spend money on the tree,
but I spent money on the gifts,
and that's what it's all about.
It ain't about the gifts.
Obviously, we know what the day is for,
but the tree is sufficient,
and it's going to get the job done.
Did Real send us our money?
Real sent money.
Rell said no.
She done with it.
Rell said she tapped out from Kribble.
No, no, no, no, no.
Rell sent us $1,000.
Don't do that.
Happy holidays, baby.
Let's act like we in the spirit now.
Come on.
What's the point of you being rich if you ain't going to share now?
Share the wealth.
God loves a cheerful giver.
Come on now.
A little thousand ain't going to hurt you.
Hey, J.R. Locke said, Chad, thousand ain't going to hurt you. Hey.
J.R. Locke said,
Chad, you my guy going to need you with a stat sheet if you want to be on ESPN with Unc.
You still my guy, but you need to be prepared.
You'll feel bad. He saw
my setup. I got a little setup
over here. You can't see it right now.
Let me see your setup. I got a setup
too. No, you ain't got no setup like
I got a setup.
Oh, yeah. Let me see. Let me see. Let me see your setup. I got a setup too. No, you ain't got no setup like I got a setup. It's nice.
Oh, yeah.
Let me see it. Let me see it.
Let me see.
I mean, I'm up here.
I'm up in this thing.
Hey, you got me excited.
Come on, turn that thing around.
Oh, shit.
What kind of computer compute what's that i can i can i can punch on any team
and all right all the stats that'll come up i can turn it that way like that yeah see hey
well how it how you how you that's is that a a program a program or something yeah you know
i'm just hey we got to be prepared, don't you?
But how you do that?
I got to watch all the games to know my information,
not just take my notes.
Yes,
you watch the games,
but you watch the game
to give your analysis,
but you're not going to remember
every single stat
off the top of your head.
This gives you,
this gives you the actual stats,
rushing yards,
who did what,
Devin Singletary had nine attempts, 44 yards.
Davis Mills, so forth and so on.
Now I can come down here and see what the defense did.
Tackles, assists, you know, forced fumbles, interceptions, sacks.
So, and then I just hit on any game.
See, that's crazy.
I can stop wasting my goddamn pen and paper.
I got my little notepad.
I use my little notepad.
So I'm jotting down all these
goddamn notes and I could have been doing that yeah how much is one how much is one of those
I don't know it's not that much I don't know what I was yeah you're not that much well I'm not that
much is well when the different well huh 1200 oh hell no you got it best to yourself oh Joe let me
ask you a question you can ask your question Let me ask you a question. Let me ask you a question.
Let me ask you a question.
My investment right here, I write everything down.
How much, have you read Mr. B's story?
Do you see how much he invests in his stuff?
Nah.
Yeah, yeah.
That's why he has 215 million subs.
Wait, hold on.
How much you think his stuff costs?
Like, give me a roundabout number, just on on some he bought an entire city for his team wait come on
that way he bought it an entire city he does about 70 million a year you got
Ocho it takes money to make money hey you know what we gonna do
what you mean I already did it
what you mean we
hold on
hold on
I'm talking about
listen you know what
we finna buy a city too
what you
fuck
we finna buy a city
now only
Ocho
you won't spend $1200
on a computer screen
but you talking about
buying a city
hold on
I'm finna spend that cause if Mr. Beast could do it guess who could do it that's what I've been trying to tell you Ocho, you won't spend $1,200 on a computer screen, but you took my buy in the city. Hold on.
I'm finna spend it now because if Mr. Beast could do it,
guess who could do it?
That's what I've been trying to tell you for a long time.
Hey, hold on. Listen, me and you, because you know why me and you could do it?
Because we beast too.
Yes.
Yeah.
Hey, I don't, hey, you see, I don't, hey,
that's how I look at it, Ocho.
I ain't gonna lie.
Damn.
70 million a year?
A year.
Oh, man.
We finna catch, buddy.
We finna catch, buddy.
We coming for that.
I don't know we going to get $215 million subs, but I know we can put out good enough content
that advertisers and sponsors will want to be a part of this.
Yeah.
Listen, we can get there because i can i can i can
tackle every demographic i can get people that don't even watch football to come well that's
what that's what we stories but see to our experiences but see like lessons the gems
that's what i tried to get people to understand people thought i was trying to replace you with
gill gill is just another component that's something else we can talk about.
Basketball.
When the Olympics come around, I'm going to have people that ran in the Olympics
that are participating in the Olympics to help guide us through.
That's what we do.
And then guess what, Ocho?
We're putting other people in Shea Media up on the club, Shea Shea,
to do a lot of other different things.
Somebody that does finances
somebody that does health and wellness
somebody besides you and I that talk about sports
somebody that, yes
I like that
that's how you have to
we finna build a fucking empire
yes, yeah
absolutely
and so that's what I people, oh
no I'm not trying to replace.
But there's a, think about it.
Popeye's could have just still been making money doing fried chicken.
Didn't they add the chicken sandwich?
Hey, that chicken sandwich was crazy, boy.
A lot of fights by that chicken sandwich now.
A whole lot of fights.
What was McDonald's known for?
Burgers, Big Mac, Quarter Pounder.
Quarter Pounder, yeah.
Then they added chicken nuggets.
Nuggets.
You see how they expand?
Mm-hmm.
See, oh, we got the football,
but now I'm going to have somebody bring basketball.
They're going to say, okay, Uncle Ocho doing basketball.
And guess what, Ocho?
You and I talk about a lot of other things that's not sports related.
So now we get the lifestyle.
Now we get the entertainment people.
They're like, okay, man.
You got to think.
You got to think.
If you want to be outside of the box, you got to think outside of the box.
And you say you didn't want to be in the box.
I ain't never been in there.
Well, I need you to think.
Let's go. Well, I'm going. Hey, I need what I need you to think. Let's go.
Well, I'm going a real
send me 1200 to get this.
What's that called?
That's an Apple.
Huh?
That's Apple products.
She gave you 400.
She said, that's it.
She gave me 400.
What?
$400.
Where's where's that?
Real.
Yeah, she gave $400 job she don't know she donated
400 yep what type of cheap what I'm trying to get the IBM uh although she
say oh you should saw my you should saw my face with my baby walk there baby I
got you I gotta have this set up like right oh you should have saw my face when my baby walked in. Baby, I got you.
I got to have it set up like right up.
You should have seen my face when my baby walked in.
Baby, I got you.
We're going to have it set up just like up.
Hey.
Yes, way to come through, baby.
I got to prepare.
I got to prepare like up now.
Shit, I got to think outside the box.
10-1-Love-10 said, will nightcap continue after football season?
Absolutely.
Of course.
That's good.
I like that.
We're probably not going to have the four days.
We'll probably have two days.
And then you don't have basketball season.
But yeah, absolutely.
Because guess what?
We're going up to the Super Bowl.
And then you got free agency.
Then you got the draft.
So we're going to be going strong.
Now, I'm going to take some time off.
Like after the NBA finals?
Right.
Oh, I'm going to take about two months off because I got to decompress.
Yeah, you got to recharge.
It's been a really, really long year
for Unk. So Unk going to take
him some time off.
Ash going to take some time off. Jordan going to take
some time off. Even though Jordan take time
off a lot now, it's hard to get it to him. I'm like,
damn, I need to give you a beeper.
I need to
give him a beeper that's sharp.
So that way, that's your buddy's sharpness.
You know what out of it. Hey, Unk, what shit, but it shocked me. You know what I do.
Hey, what's going on, bro?
I called you seven hours ago.
Jeff King
asked, how do your dogs handle
fireworks?
They never
they, well,
the two I got now, they've never been
around fireworks. I never, because
I see some people, like when I was in Atlanta,
we used to walk up to Lenox Mall and they let the fireworks go.
And I see people bring the dogs.
I'm like, why would you bring your dog?
Don't put him in that situation.
Now, my dog, I had a dog, an Akita named Samson.
I called him Bo.
He didn't like Thunder.
So he would go get in the closet.
Or I would let him go downstairs and go to the basement.
Then he wouldn't hear any of it.
But I don't think
they've never heard it.
And so I'm going to try to do everything I can
to make sure because
I don't want every time a loud noise
go off, they think it's something and then they get
spooked.
Isaiah the fourth said
had my second hit
replacement Monday stay blessed Isaiah bruh you gonna live life again man I'm telling you it was
the best thing that the only thing that I hate is that I waited so long to get it done because
here I am thinking I'm stretching and I'm doing all these exercises and it's gonna make it better
and nothing made it better until I put that fresh titanium in there.
Once I got that fresh titanium, now all of a sudden I'm living.
I ain't just getting by.
I'm not just surviving.
I'm living.
I have life again.
Does it bother you when it's cold, though?
Nothing.
Like when you're in the cold?
You know what I'm talking about, right?
Sometimes when you have, okay, okay, okay.
I mean, people saw it.
I put it up on my page.
I can squat.
I can leg press, leg extension, leg curl.
I can do all that.
You can still do all that?
Yeah.
Wait, you say a squat?
You can see a squat?
Yeah.
I don't do, I use the machines to squat.
I don't use bar, but I was doing box squats with weight on my back.
Okay.
But I ain't really like that.
So I do pendulum squats and things of that nature, leg pressing.
Man, Ocho, that thing got – everything hurt.
And I knew I was in trouble when I couldn't sleep at night
because I couldn't find a position that was comfortable.
Everything just ached.
If I stood too long –
No matter which way you turned.
It didn't matter.
It didn't matter.
And Major Boy
A. Six.
Nah, I'm good.
What's wrong with you?
Hips on fire.
I ain't like Ochoa.
That's a yeah.
Ochoa, what's this?
Hey, I told the doctor.
I said, Ochoa started messing with Nassie.
I said, Doc.
It's time to get surgery. It's had to get surgery, huh?
Hey
Her so I'll be oh job to my crotch. I'm talking about literally literally. Hey, look Oh Joe
I had to take painkillers before I had sex
What yes?
Yes, I'm living that bad crying afterwards take painkillers before I had sex. What? Yes. Yes.
I'm literally... It was that bad?
Crying afterwards.
Crying. Wait, when you...
What's... One side of your hip
or both sides? Both.
Both. B-O-A-F.
Both of them hurt. Wait, how did it even get
to that point? You got hit.
You got hit.
It's hereditary in my family um okay my uh my
brother had his replaced my sister about to get both of hers replaced i've had both of mine
replaced so it's a it's hereditary and uh my mom said i'm just like my mom said i done made it to
80 about to be 81 she said hey i'm good she's like i ain't going I ain't going nowhere in a hurry anyway I said mama
it ain't hurting bad enough I said because I said the exact same thing I remember my brother I was
getting those injections and he said you know what he said I got those injections he said but one day
you're gonna go and it's gonna feel like you got a placebo he said it's gonna feel like they gave
you sugar water and I remember that day just like it was yesterday it was june i was getting ready to go to atlanta and i got the shot and i remember walking out
and i was like damn it don't feel like they did nothing it was still hurting it was still hurting
even after i got and they gave me shots in both of them he gave me a full syringe of both of them
ah i got on the phone i'm i'm pulling out the parking deck I called my assistant
I said call the doctor back and tell him I want to get my hip replaced
that was in June
what's that procedure like
well it's different
because in the old days they went through
my brother's glute
now they just do an incision in the front of your leg
break it
take it out
but they do a machine
see now it's but they do a machine
see now it's surgical
they got a machine that just
lines it up
doctor just looking
and that machine does everything
let it open
pop it out
put the new one in there
I had the surgery on a Saturday
yeah
five days so that following
Thursday I was squatting
doing lunges and everything
oh so this is something simple
it's not even a complicated
you have to understand
you're an athlete you're used to dealing with pain
because think about how long I did this I dealt with that pain for three years four years hey, you have to understand. Now, I'm used to having, so you're an athlete, you're used to dealing with pain.
Because think about how long I did this,
I dealt with that pain for three years, four years.
And so, I'm like, oh, I'm coming.
Because now, to get you out,
because I had the surgery,
I got in there at 6 o'clock, 6.30,
did a starting surgery at like 7.30.
I was home about 1 o'clock.
Okay, so it's not that long.
I thought it was a tedious process thought i thought the surgery is process
no the surgery is 90 minutes to make you walk up and down and fly the steps three times make you
go to the bathroom they get your ass up out of there say you finna get up out of here we need
this bed for somebody else so i got up out of the ocho oh oh i would go i take me like three or four
abil of tylenol to deal with that pain because i got to squat. I got to lunge. I got to do all that stuff.
I said, I'm coming up out of here.
The first surgery, it took me 10 days to walk unassisted.
So no walker, no crutches.
The next one took me six days.
Oh, I'm coming up out of here.
I knew what to expect.
Right.
You was ready.
I would have been smooth sailing, but they gave me something, Ocho,
and I had an allergic reaction.
So now I got hives everywhere.
I mean, I got...
So now I got to go to a UCL emergency,
a medical emergency.
They got to give me these shots.
I got to go to see a...
It was just like, ugh.
But Ocho, your boy healthy, that.
Your boy healthy, that.
Oh, they do it that's crazy i i didn't have any surgeries i i obviously i didn't get hurt but what i did what i did do the only thing i did do
was you know in the ankle when you have uh bone spurs yeah you know but the author author said
the side stroke saved him hip hey you ever had to get scoped the little scopes yeah
do i did the scope in my ankles like let's say just for the sake of arguing like maybe on a
monday and man i'm back out there trying trying to run around probably friday and coach lewis
them had to throw me off the field. Oh, yeah. Angle still
swollen. All I did was just a little
cleanup. Bone spurs, it broke off.
That's how them linemen were, Ocho.
We had them linemen would get scope on Tuesday and play
on Sunday. Okay, okay.
You know exactly what I'm talking about. Yeah. And me,
I had ankle problems. I had my man
and my ankle used to kill me. I had the nerves
taking out my ankle. What?
Yeah. I had to play. Ocho, I had to play. Wait, hold on. How you had the nerves taking out my ankle. What? Yeah. I had to play.
I had to play.
Wait, hold on. How you get the nerves taking out your ankle?
They deaden them. They kill the nerves.
You can kill the nerves. I had them kill. I said,
I'm tired of this. So how you gonna feel?
How you gonna feel? I don't wanna feel it.
It is what it is.
I got a
finite period
of time to play NFL football.
I don't do Hansel and Gretel.
I don't save nothing for the trip home.
I don't drop no bread from them.
I give you everything I got right then and there.
So when it's over, it's over.
That's why I was able to walk away and leave nothing.
Hey, you can say I did this or I didn't do that.
Everybody that played with Shannon know I gave you everything I had
I left no stone unturned and I didn't save
nothing for the trip home
but you say you took the nerves
I had it dead
I had feel nothing
nothing just you know I didn't numb your tooth
how do you
yeah
but I had it numb
done don't feel nothing you thought me kick done. Done. I don't feel nothing.
You thought me kick me on my ass.
I don't feel nothing.
So you got your feeling back now though, right?
No, I ain't got no feeling in it.
I'm good, Ocho.
I don't need no feeling in it.
I need feeling somewhere up a little high up.
I don't need no ankle.
I need to come on up a little high.
That's where I need the feeling.
You're talking about my ankle.
What the ankle gonna do
I never
heard of that I didn't even
know that was possible
man that's dope
that's dope
hey Ocho I had to do it
hey my girl
Faye
Faye said Hoshiana Ocho friend invest in yourself
remember you cannot reap the harvest the same day you plant the seeds.
The heart of a man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.
Keep growing, Ocho.
Yeah.
I like that, Faith.
Faith has been one of the ones that's been here from day one.
I'll tell you, from the very first time that we went live back in September to what was that?
Night?
Because it was a Sunday.
I think it was September the 9th.
Right.
Faith, Lainey Ray, Unculture J, and there's one more.
They've been here from day one, from the absolute start of it.
So we want to really, really appreciate you guys.
Upgrade King said,
congrats on all the success, Uncle Ocho.
Ocho, you need a better background, please.
Scary money don't make no money.
Wait, what's wrong with my background?
We gonna get you, what you got?
We gonna get you a, you see how my sign is?
We ordered a, that's Club Shea Shea.
We ordered one that goes say go say nightcap
i like i like that but my background is is what i do listen you know i smoke cigars that's my
cigar line right there you know i love soccer i love soccer to death you know oh joe i'm oh joe
you you're not a teenager anymore you about to make you about to make lots of money in that room but i i'm i'm i have lots
of money already and i still you know i tell you are you you ain't gonna have much as we gonna be
making okay and i know what you mean because we we two beasts yeah exactly but you don't like my
you don't like you don't like this no not really it represents me i'm a gamer you know i'm a gamer my bangles you know you ain't
no gamer how much you make gaming uh maybe only only about 35 35 000 a month not that much because
i don't do it enough i don't i mean no i don't not that i don't do it enough and just i have to put
in the time eight nine hours a day and you know you don't get that kind of time exactly i had
that kind of you know who'd be on my ass about gaming too much.
It's time to like, look,
Uncle Ocho, we professional.
Right.
We gotta have a different mindset.
Right, so you don't like my
thing? No.
Cordell Holmes said, hey guys,
happy holidays to y'all and everybody in the
chat. Questions with who y'all,
what are y'all's top three men's cologne?
Ocho, this is your area.
Era.
Area.
Because I don't wear cologne.
I haven't wore cologne since I was in college.
So take off.
Hold on.
I'm so glad you asked.
Dior Sauvage.
That's one of them.
That would be third.
I'm going to give my top three.
I just took a picture of this for somebody else the other day Lou Vuitton Illuminati's I think I'm saying it right baby if you know if baby if you in the
chat please spell that correctly for me Lou Lou but Louis Vuitton Illuminati's
that's the name of it and the in the third that this is number one right now i guarantee you oh here we go i found it it's called blue talisman
blue talisman like spelled blue and then t-a-l-i-s-m-a-n i ain't never smelled none like
this i ain't never smelled none like this it smells so good i had to take a picture of it
so i could
i could tell somebody exactly what it was they kept asking me people keep asking me what you
wearing i couldn't remember the name so i took a picture because every time they asked me i just
show them i just show it to them blue talisman so good that's that's my top three i'm not sure
if in a chat y'all got something else that i didn't name you know let me know because i could
always use some some good cologne when I was in college, Ocho,
I had Dracar.
You know what I'm saying?
You remember that Dracar?
What you know about Dracar?
The red bottle,
like burgundy,
that burgundy little bit?
It was all black.
Black bottle, yeah, yeah.
Okay, okay.
And I had that
Clam and Clam obsession
with them pheromones in it.
Yeah.
Man, I put that on, Ocho.
Man, you couldn't hit me
in the ass with a red apple.
You couldn't tell me I'm coming, you know, I'm one-legged, I'm one- put that on Ocho. Bet you couldn't hit me in the ass with a red apple. You couldn't tell me.
I'll come out. You know, I'm bowlegged.
You know, I'm one-legged and bowlegged in Ocho.
But there'd be some push-ups.
Oh, you see that Ocho?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I ain't been working out like I'm supposed to, but you see that?
In 24, they're going to be on.
I'm going to be Jordan down.
See, Jordan think he can be in better shape than me.
He leading to me.
He don't even know. Him game. He don't even know.
He don't even know.
Him dead and don't even know.
You going to lean up a little bit?
I'll be lean.
Yeah.
Just to beat him down to let him know.
But it's going to cost him $10,000.
Oh, y'all bet.
Oh, y'all bet.
Bet 10 bands on it.
Wait, hold on.
You bet $10,000 that you can get leaner before
he can? I'm going to be
leaner than him.
By when? What's the date? Whatever you want to date,
you want to set it? Okay.
Hey, that's a big bet.
That's a big bet there, boy.
I like it.
That's a big bet. He won't
just get paid for money. He'll be okay.
He can be can-to-the- tuna, be eating canned tuna all night.
But this time, he's going to be out of necessity.
He'll eat it right now because he won't do.
He's going to need to eat it.
When I get done, Uncourtier J say,
Unc, you try the finals yet?
Also, favorite game outside EA.
Ocho, excuse me. He said Ocho. You try the finals yet? Also, favorite game outside EA. Ocho, excuse me. It's Ocho. Yeah.
You tried the finals yet. Also, favorite game
outside of EA FC.
Last video game you played. No offense, but I'm
trying to say Technobowl.
God damn.
Nah.
And your last game you played was 10-yard fight.
Nah.
I don't know. I'd have to ask my daughter. She upstairs
asleep. I mean mean she probably was
2002
she probably was I don't know
9
10 I don't know
it's been a while
I didn't have time
you had time for video games I did not it's been a while Ocho I didn't have time my time
Ocho
you had time
for video games
I did not
Ocho
I wake
I wake up at 9
I wake up
I would wake up
I would eat breakfast
I'd go to the track
I would spend two hours
on the track
I'd come back
eat
I would nap
I'd go to the gym
for two hours
I would come back
sit in the cold tub
take a shower
I would stretch that was
and then i would get massages three days a week so i really didn't have time okay okay to like
what my mind and i was all i was thinking i'm writing down okay what i want to do this year
okay how am i going to do this what do i need to do a a bp i need you to send me send me all the
practice cut-ups of every time I ran wide out.
Send me the cut-ups of every time I ran wide choice.
Send me the game cut footage of when I ran blank or drive
or when I ran Fox 2 X and Y hook.
I'm just constantly watching.
Okay, damn.
That's why he...
So, Ocho, I...
Listen, I didn't do it to the extent you did it but i did
it but i also had my time to be able to enjoy the things that i like to do when i want to get away
from the game like you have to have something that movies huh i would go to the movies let me
tell you what i did okay you see you you just not a game right i understand i get it i went to the movies i i went to them i went i think it was probably about 10 30 11 o'clock
i went to the movies i got home about about 1 a.m right i saw six movies
and people said well why'd you say i want to see if i can do it
right i would push myself i would go two days i wouldn't eat
just to see if i could do it i wanted to know because I'm going to ask my body. I will call on my him to the test i'm trying to put you to the test
every time i run around i'm trying to put a db to the test i'm trying to put the line back into
the test because i don't know if you can pass the test that i'm gonna give you right so but i got to
give myself the test first because i can't ask you a question that i don't know the answer to
answer to i like that so thatcho, man, like I said,
my kids,
I love my kids so much
because of what they didn't get
an opportunity to do
with their dad.
And I was wrong for that,
but that was the only way I knew.
That was the only way I knew.
And, you know,
when they, you know,
they come at different times.
My son hadn't been here in a while.
He's married now.
My daughter-in-law got my grandson. But the two girls, they come and different times. My son hadn't been here in a while. He's married now. My daughter-in-law got my grandson.
But the two girls, they come and, you know,
and we have conversations and especially the oldest one.
The oldest one, she's kind of more of a talker.
And so I'll be laying in the bed and she'll come,
dad, what you doing?
I'll let nothing.
So she'll get in the bed and we'll talk about things.
She like, you know, you know how much she appreciate what I did.
And although she didn't understand, she appreciated and she understands now as she's an adult and she understands why I work so hard.
Yeah. And like find things that that and I always told him, look, I never pushed him in any direction.
Until I saw the direction they were going in. Once I saw the direction they were going in,
now I'm going to push it.
Because I never wanted my kids to get to be 25 or 30
and said, I only did something
because you wanted me to do it, Dad.
So I was always mindful of that.
Now, once you start something, you're going to finish it.
You might not be, hey, you might not do it again next year,
but you're going to finish it out this year.
You done got my money and I had to buy all this. You know what, for you to do, uh-uh, you you might not do it again next year, but you will finish it out this year. You don't got my money.
That ball is, you know, what for you to do on you will do it.
But now I want you.
I want you.
I had a singular focus.
Like I said, I was no good.
That's why I'm not people.
Why are you not married?
Because I had a singular focus.
Football married to football.
I loved it.
And I didn't have no affair.
I didn't cheat on it.
Yeah.
So, yeah.
Each is on.
Balance is good, though, baby.
Ain't no balance to greatness.
Ain't no balance to greatness.
You think Tom Brady had a balanced life?
You think LeBron James had a balanced life?
Jordan, tell me the great player.
Kobe.
That's your favorite guy, Kobe.
You think Kobe had a balanced life?
Hmm.
You think Jeff Bezos and all these guys i ain't talking about now it's easy to be balanced now you're worth 130 billion you're 200 billion you are 50 billion but getting getting to that point
trials and tribulations that you got to go through to get to that point
okay i i get i get i get where
you're going and the thing is is that and you have to have somebody because here's the thing
people ask the question say why does movie stars marry other movie stars because the other know
what it's like to live that life yeah like in the character right to become something to become
someone so unless you've been there and know what it's like how can you
possibly understand understand i think that's a good one that's right you're right and so
people but why why you eat the same thing over and over why you do the same thing they say
insanity is doing the same thing over and over over and over and over and expecting results
i did the same thing over and over hoping for the same results
because I had seen that success.
That's all I wanted.
I like that.
Or of it.
I mean, success is a drug, Ocho.
Yeah.
Do you know what it's like when you scored your first touchdown?
You wanted to score another one.
When you got your first 100-yard game, you one no you got your first hundred yard game you wanted a 200 yard game you wanted another it's like and there's
nothing like that they say they say uh uh heroin which is the most one of the strongest drugs they
say that first high they call it chasing the dragon they say you chase that you want that
feeling one more time yeah but it takes more and more to get that.
That's why you're OD.
I wanted that feeling I got with the very first touchdown that I scored.
The very first time I saw those fans stomping their feet and I saw them in my jersey and they were applauding what I did.
Oh, man.
I never lost sight of that, Ocho.
They were applauding what I did, not who I was.
And a lot of times you say, well, guys get lost because everything,
what they do is football or basketball.
That's what I did.
That ain't who I am.
I'm a chameleon.
I play football.
I can talk.
I can motivate you. I can coach you. I'm a chameleon. I play football. I can talk. I can motivate you.
I can coach you.
I can teach you.
That's what I need guys to understand.
Sports is what you do.
That ain't who you are.
Yeah.
But do you know who you are?
If I took that away from you, what could you be?
Come on. We go. We go be? Come on, Ocho.
We're going to move on, Ocho.
Pause, Mo.
Shannon, you're so good on this, so much better than TV.
He's not limited in 90 seconds.
Pause, Mo.
I really appreciate that.
It is what it is.
Pause.
You know, hey, that's what TV is.
I like the format, but I do like the format that I had in Undisputed.
I love the format in ESPN because it does give me a chance to expound.
It's a lot easier when it's a one-on-one with just Ocho and I.
And plus, we can take as much time as we want.
Yeah.
It's our show.
We don't have, and so we're not limited.
We can go, hey, because originally, Ocho, you remember,
we were only supposed to be 25 minutes.
Ladies and gentlemen.
That ain't going to work.
In the first night, we're like, man, we went an hour.
I said, but man, Ocho, we left so much on the floor.
And I'm like, bro, I mean, what happens if we go an extra 30 minutes but i'm like we still
leaving so much material on the floor there's so much stuff that we need to get to yeah and the
next thing you know we was at two hours and so but uh i really i really appreciate you guys man
yeah you know what i really like though and i don't think people understand like what we have and no disrespect to undisputed no disrespect to first take
but what we have the formula the format in which we which we operate it's so good yeah it's so
authentic it's so organic because there's a there's another element to it where we can be ourselves
oh for sure where things aren't where things aren't scripted. Obviously, we're going to talk football.
Yeah, of course.
We're going to talk football.
That's cool.
That's cool.
Think about yesterday.
Think about yesterday.
What I loved about yesterday was the disagreement about boxing,
and you telling me to pick something,
and you getting upset, and you getting angry,
and then me actually getting angry too because, you know what?
You fall too.
I don't feel like changing the, the, the dual, the dual in personalities,
the dual in beliefs and being able to maybe not even compromise in that, in that sense,
but just have opinions and standing on business on what you believe in.
And then coming right back the next day, shit, like nothing happened.
That's it
like you can't get that and you can't get that nowhere else that authentic that authenticity
that we have the chemistry is unmatched yes it's unmatched that's god-given because the thing is
god-given it is but here's the thing you're passionate about what you believe in i'm
passionate so you're supposed to have like no bro
no it's not like that this is what it's like because how can you not be passionate and be
great at something that's why they what do they always tell you find something that you love
and you can make money at it yeah Yeah. Because you become passionate about it.
And it don't feel like work.
It doesn't feel like work.
So many times, you know,
hey, like what would,
and I,
somebody said,
man, if you weren't six foot
and 200 something pounds,
you wouldn't have been great.
You wouldn't have been
a great football player.
So,
I'd have been great at something else.
That's what I'd have been. I'd have been great at something else that's what I've been I'd have been great
at something else but you never know what what that something else would have been I hate when
I say that I because my thing was I put my focus on uh on football sports so you mean to tell me
with my mindset I wouldn't have been a good lawyer really Really? You think that? That's what you think?
Wow.
That'd have been great.
I don't know anything but greatness.
I don't know anything about hard work.
Yeah.
And when you're willing to work hard, you're willing to pay a price to sacrifice, oh, you
could be great.
But y'all, I don't let people tell
me what I can and can't do.
Xavier Sampson said,
Merry Christmas.
I can know what you'll love the show.
I stay locked down.
What's the best Superbowl of all time to y'all?
Well,
my first one,
it's Superbowl 32.
We want,
I'm always going to take the one.
I mean,
but it's hard.
How do you not take one?
Um,
you know,
uh,
what's that?
The Patriots and the Seahawks.
That was a good one.
The Rams and the Bengals.
How do you not take that?
That was a good one.
That wasn't a pass interference.
The 49ers, the one Jerry went off,
they came back and they ended up beating you guys 20-16.
Yeah.
And Joe threw a 200-jit X-lant to JT John Taylor.
Mm-hmm.
I mean, there have been some good ones.
Oh, the Steelers.
The Steelers against the Cardinals with Santonio Holmes toe-tapping
the back of the end zone.
Back of the end zone, yeah.
That was a nice one.
That's a corner.
There's been some good ones. Listen, again, that Patriots-Falcons game that people thought was over end zone. Back in the end zone, yeah. That was a nice one. That's a corner.
Listen, again, that Patriots-Falcons game that people thought was over because
it was 28-3.
The Giants-Patriots.
The Eli. That was
a good one. Both of those Superbowls
were good because Eli made two gate
throws. That throw to Mario Manningham
in 2010. Manningham on the sideline.
Oh, Joe. Got his toes in.
Oh, Joe.
That was nice.
Against two men.
That was nice.
And he got to get it up and down because the safety coming.
Coming right away.
And guess what?
Everybody knows in the stadium, like, they can see, like, oh, my goodness.
He's about to get blown.
The safety know he's coming.
And Mario Manningham knows he's coming.
Coming, yeah.
Yeah.
So, for me, Super Bowl XXXII, because we beat the Packers.
We were, what, 11, 12-point underdogs, and the NFC had won 14 straight Super Bowls.
So, we broke the stranglehold.
So, that my favorite.
Joseph Groshek donated $200 and said,
my son wants to be a fullback.
Is the fullback position done in the NFL?
For the most part, yeah.
Yeah.
Except the 49ers.
The 49ers have a fullback and the Ravens.
That's basically two or 32 teams, though, Ocho.
How many fullbacks you think they're going to carry on the roster?
You're right.
How do you say the fullback to carry on the roster you're right well you know
how do you say the fullback's name
the last name
you check
he can catch out the backfield and all
and Richard
I think it's Richard
or Ricard
yeah
no bro
if he can play running back
let him play running back or let him move to the defensive side
i watched some film of ocho man uncle was always so open on the deep ball
can you ask him what was some of his techniques to get so much separation, particularly on the deep ball?
Step on them toes, baby.
Step on them toes every time.
Every time.
And I'm trying to think.
My thing was always getting from point A to point B. I rarely, I rarely, I rarely, rarely, rarely sat there and made moves that line.
Rarely, rarely.
I pick a side i want
to go to i dip that shoulder really low and just and just get up out of there right away you know
obviously i was cat quick i'm not not trying to boast or anything i was i was i was i was cat quick
so that was an advantage i had had to myself and most dbs that were a little bigger you know they try to try to be aggressive try to
play bully ball and it would always be a mistake it would always be a mistake because i would
counter that by just getting low and get right on round now yeah you reach i teach
basically the world fastest thing you look for me I don't eat it and go. Yeah.
Merry Christmas, Anonymous
Donated. Merry Christmas, fellas. Thank
you for all the great content, the best podcast
by far. Quick questions.
If you could play for one team today,
which team would you play for?
That's a good one.
I like Andy Reid.
I love Reid.
He was in Green Bay with my brother.
Know his wife and met him at the Pro Bowl.
So, Big Red.
And they're going to throw that rock.
Trav, you have to share some of the ball with your aunt.
Shoot, I like them.
Football, football.
Because I know y'all, somebody goes,
you talking about balls, footballs.
Yeah.
Probably back in Cincinnati.
Let's see what it's like.
Oh, yeah, you got Joe.
With Joe Burrow throwing at the helm.
Yeah, but what you call him?
What you call him?
I'm going to get on the rock, though, man.
You ain't going to be getting the rock like you got last time.
Chase, you know who that.
Okay, that's my dog, man.
He a credit card.
No, we're going to have to split them.
We going to split them?
What you going to do?
What T Higgins going to do?
Me and T going to split too.
Matter of fact, you know what?
Matter of fact, I go back.
I just want to.
I just need.
Just put me in on third down.
That's all.
No, you ain't going to be no third down.
You ain't no third down, guy.
You ain't no guy. You ain't wide like that. But I'm't no third down guy you ain't no guy you ain't wired like that but i'm just saying who you think who you
think you trying to fool i'm a team player i'm a team i'm a team player i'm just saying so
yeah okay man you you know what you know how when you say something you don't even believe it yourself and you stop that you know I'm just saying
hypothetically speaking you know
I just that'd be
dope just to play in this area in
general with the way the rules are relaxed now
too yeah
Mitch Evans asked hey
Uncle Ocho when was the first time
you met each other I interviewed
him at CBS I think it was my
second year there, so it had to be like
05?
Oh, wow. I was in my prime
then too. Hey, 05, that's
Blonde Mohawk Ocho, huh?
I think it might have been 05.
He put it up, he interviewed
with CBS. It might have been
05, 06.
Damn. Damn.
Yeah.
Man, I don't even remember that.
Yeah, you had an apartment with a couch and a painting on the wall.
That's all you had.
In Cincinnati?
Yep.
Okay, okay, okay.
You see how you said that's all I had.
I ain't need nothing else.
Oh, my goodness.
Jeremy Shepard asked Unk I watched some film
okay we already got that one
oh poster child said
Messi and Unk versus Ocho and Cristiano
Ronaldo who wins 2-0 to
soccer field
man we gonna get killed man
yeah y'all are
no me and Messi
on a team you and Cristiano Ronaldo on a team oh man we gonna destroy y'all are. No, me and Messi on the team. You and Cristiano Ronaldo on the team.
Oh, me and Cristiano?
Yeah.
Oh, man.
Man, we're going to destroy y'all.
You crazy.
You're a liability on the pitch.
You're a liability.
Me and Messi.
Oh, I got the goat, too, that old lefty.
See, Messi, I'm lefty.
Whoa, whoa, you got the goat.
The goat is Cristiano.
No, Messi the goat.
Cristiano the goat.
Nah.
The Belon Dua balls.
He got the World Cup.
Stop it.
Stop it.
Stop it.
Stop it.
I ain't trying to hear all that.
Messi.
When it comes to IG,
ain't nobody mess.
I think he got like 600 million followers.
Who that?
Cristiano.
Yeah. He's the most followed guy on IG. But he can't nobody mess. I think he got like 600 million followers. Who that? Cristiano. Yeah. He's the most
followed guy on IG.
But he can't see Messi.
That's a whole another conversation.
We could sit here for hours and hours and debate.
Christopher Hogue
said,
what was your
I love football
moment? I love football moment i love football moment but that started that started way back yeah way back i mean for for me
i love football was all i had you know football was my way out that was that was the the green
light to change the circumstances for myself my family at at that time yeah my daughter just i mean it
was just one at that time now i got a whole football team but yeah yeah but football was
my everything i just knew it would get me out of i mean obviously the area i'm from i left
liberty i left liberty city without really leaving if that makes sense because
that's it's still it's it was still in me even though i left and i made sure to represent that
to the to the fullest even though i had left the front porch but yeah probably it started like
really got serious probably junior high right before high school you understood how important
those next four years were especially
once you got to college yeah that was that was kind of for me oh joe when i figured out like
when i found out that they played that i could like i could get paid to play football like really
oh yeah and then i found out because you know back then you know a hundred thousand dollars
back then oh joe when i first understood football man a you know back then you know $100,000 back then Ocho when I first understood football man
100,000
What
Man
And I started like and I started seeing watching Miami Vice
I don't know when you were really young with Miami Vice rock rocks and tubs rock and tubs. Yeah
And the forever they was wearing the Ferrari.
The red Ferrari?
Yeah, man.
White.
It was white.
Magnum T.I. had the red one.
Yeah.
They had the white one.
The road had a Rolex.
I said, man, look here, man.
Football was it for me, Ocho.
I mean, I was actually, I was better in basketball and track and field than I was in football.
But because my brother played football. You was better in basketball and track and field than I was in football, but because my brother played football.
You was better at track and field?
I was better at track and field.
I'm going to need to see footage.
Three-time state champ, high point trophy, best performance trophy.
You know, the high point trophy means you laid the most points in a state meet.
I did that.
The best performance trophy meet.
I was a class A.
It doesn't happen often.
I was in class A, and I was the best jumper in the state.
Beat double A, triple A, quad A, five A.
As a matter of fact, I held a state record until, like,
I held a state record for 35 years, O state record for 35 years. Oh, Joe.
I just want to see the record.
I know you got VHS.
I know you got some VHS tape somewhere.
I need to see the footage.
I got a VCR.
Show me the footage.
I didn't need no footage.
You go back and look at the records, though.
All right.
I'm going to check the records.
You go check the records. I'm going to check the records. You go check the records.
I'm going to Google the records right now.
What's the name of the school?
Glenville High School.
Glenville High School.
Joseph Groshek just donated another $200.
Go Pack, go.
Shannon, could you imagine you and Sterling on the Packers together?
No.
He a ball hog. And I ain't like what you're talking about, the package together. No. He a ball hog.
And I ain't like Ocho till I split the rod.
No.
Sharing is caring.
You learned that in kindergarten.
I did.
We shared enough when we growing up.
Nope.
Nope.
Nope.
At that point in time, Ocho, now, after I had started to develop,
now, because you have to understand
I'm three years younger than he is
so we're in high school
at the same time
even though we didn't go to the same college, we're in college
at the same time, so the comparisons
were there, even when I
was in Denver and he was in Green Bay
so can you imagine if we're on the same
team? Now it's time
for me to make a name for myself.
It's time for me to show that I'm more
than Sterling's little brother.
And even though, man, you know, you got
this. I said, my brother can't catch no passes
from me. What the hell? How you gonna get me somewhere?
I said, you don't
understand. This ain't college.
Yeah, you see that.
That's a, that's a, that's a,
you see that? That number two? They still that you see that that number two they're still talking
about that they're still talking about it no but uh i i think the thing was it was best that he did
he was where he was i was where i was and because you know i was 192 in the seventh round he was
number seven in the first round so obviously and you know he was good he was a route runner he was
tremendous run after the catch.
So you think he was a better catcher?
A better catcher of the football than
your third? He right here, Ocho. You see that
right there? I don't know about that.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm a
natural catcher of the ball. Yeah.
I'm a natural catcher.
I'm a natural catcher. Yeah.
Boy, Ocho,
what two players in the hall do you feel shouldn't be there in the hall?
Man, everybody that's in there shouldn't be there.
If they in there, they in there for a reason.
Yeah, he's like, shouldn't be there.
And who the hell am I to say they shouldn't be?
Man, that's a loaded question.
Because you know if they say, they're going to say, you know,
Hall of Fame member Shannon Sharpe said such and such.
Oh.
Right.
So for me, hey, I ain't got no vote i don't did what i did so that's y'all job y'all hey y'all critique and
do whatever you want to that's why i stopped asking you know that's like bro stop asking me
y'all know y'all put y'all gonna put who y'all want to put in there anyway so whatever
merry christmas how did it feel when the Ravens went five weeks scoreless and
this is my third time asking
hope to see you.
It was frustrating because the defense
balling lights out.
We didn't score a touchdown
for five weeks. I think we won
three of those games, didn't we?
We won three of those games
by not scoring a touchdown.
That's how dominant our defense was
so you'll never see that again no hell no you'll never see that again but it was frustrating the
thing i think the thing that really helped me ray and woody we were extremely close and i remember
having a conversation with ray he's like shay come on. Y'all got to give us something. I said, I understand that. I said, Ray,
you do realize they take teams to
Super Bowls, not defenses.
Yeah. So it don't matter how great
y'all are.
We're going to figure it out. Right.
We want two
out of five. We want two out of five.
Okay.
One, two, lost three in a row.
But
I think the thing was, Ocho,
is that we figured out how we needed to play.
Run the football,
stop trying to throw it, try to be something.
Because Ryan came from, at that point in time,
I think the Minnesota Vikings had scored
the most points in a season.
He was the offensive coordinator when they had
Randy and CeCe and Jake Reed and Robert Smith.
You know, they had that high-flying offensive line.
I mean, the offensive.
Jake Reed.
I forgot about Jake.
And so now you coming in there and you think, bro,
you got me and Jermaine and Kadri
and Travis Taylor was drafted in the first round.
You got Patrick Johnson.
Bro, you ain't got that.
Travis Taylor. Yeah. I said, Bro, you ain't got that. Travis Taylor.
Yeah.
I said, bro, that ain't what we are.
We got Jamal, who's a rookie, who's a battering ram.
Let's use it.
And he's fast.
Big man, mom.
Bro, people, I just wish if he really took it serious,
he'd have been in the hall
a guy his size
Jamal ran like 4'3 at 235
oh yeah he can move
he moving now
yes and the thing was
even when he was in college he would come to the track
and work out with us
and I'm like
he went to Doug and I'm like, like, he went to Doug.
And I'm like,
damn,
who big fella?
I'm like,
man,
wait,
I mean,
who you play for?
He's like,
man,
I'm in college.
College?
What big ass in college for?
But,
hey,
he was the real deal.
Zach Miranda said,
Uncle Nocho,
love you guys.
Such an inspiration.
Feel like you guys are my own uncles.
Been supporting since the beginning.
Best Christmas game you guys have seen.
Hope you and your fam have an amazing Christmas.
Damn.
Best Christmas game?
That's a good one.
Because I don't really remember no Christmas game.
Oh, yeah.
I don't remember off the top of my head.
I know we got one tomorrow night.
I know that. Well, Oh, yeah. I don't remember off the top of my head. I know we got one tomorrow night. I know that.
Well, today, actually.
Yeah.
And hopefully it's a very, very good one.
Yeah.
I want to see a barn burner.
Who you got?
Who you got?
I took the 49ers at home.
Yeah, okay.
I took the 49ers at home.
All right.
Disco returning donated $50.
Pray for the suffering in Gaza.
Love you, Uncle Nocho.
Do you think tight ends have been
game planned out of the modern NFL?
Hell nah. Do you see Kelsey?
You see Laporta? You see Hawkinson?
Fredrickson
from Dallas?
No. What's the one
from Chicago?
Oh, you call it Komet?
Komet. No,
they're being used more now than ever before.
Because when I played, there were like two or three of them.
Me, you know, early on it was me,
Britt Jones, Novacek, and Ben Coates.
Hey, Jay Novacek.
I forgot about Jay.
You know, back in the late 70s, early 80s,
it was basically Ozzie and Kellen
it was one of two
now I mean you got
Kelsey you got Laporta
you got Hawkinson you got
Kittle you got Mark Andrews
there's more of them
doing what that only a handful
can do when I play
so no they've been game playing end
because they're so skilled now.
L.A. Valescos, Merry Christmas from Orlando,

holidays y'all are my heroes you see basketball players rappers getting friendly do football
players get celeb friendly or are y'all more blue collar amongst yourselves?
Nah, hell, man.
You see how the Jokers trading jerseys now?
But I think they done cut some of that out
because I think they charging $400 for every jersey they trade.
So now, spending $5,000 on jerseys.
No more than that. $7,000. So, $400 a game, 10 games, that's $5,000 on jerseys. Yeah. No more than that.
$7,000.
So $400 a game, 10 games, that's $4,000.
And then another seven games.
Oh, yeah, he's putting almost $7,000 for jerseys.
Man, listen.
Ocho, but you ain't supposed to have.
By the time you retire, you're going to have 150 jerseys.
Jerseys, yeah.
You want everybody's jersey.
Yep. I mean, depending on who it is. you retire, you're going to have 150 jerseys. You want everybody's jersey. Depending on
who it is, you got some people that play
together in college. You have some people that are friends
from childhood friends.
You want to exchange
jerseys, but just exchanging jerseys
just to exchange?
Do that in the locker room. Do that in the
hallway.
You don't need to see that
you don't like
you don't like
exchanging jerseys
you ain't exchanging jerseys
with nobody when you play
no
nope
I got
I
TD and I
traded
Pro Bowl jerseys
yeah
and Ray and I
I'm talking about
regular season like you know after a game me and Ray traded Pro Bowl jerseys. Yeah. I'm talking about regular season.
Like, you know, after a game.
Only me and Ray traded.
My last year in Denver, Ray and I traded.
I went back to Baltimore, played in Baltimore,
and he and I exchanged jerseys.
He's the only player jersey I got.
I didn't even got my brother's jersey.
Right.
But no.
That's crazy.
Quantez says, Uncle Nocho,
this show is entertaining, but y'all have reignited
a fire in me to do better in life.
God bless y'all and thank you. Also,
I'm a powerlifter. I'm curious to know
what y'all workouts split.
The most I've ever benched
is 470 pounds.
The most I've ever
deadlift was about 600. Most I've ever deadlift was about 600.
Most I've ever squatted was about 570.
But I was a wide receiver doing that.
Right.
The most I've ever benched was, I think, 315, maybe twice.
I'm not sure if that counts.
Somebody touched the bar.
The most I've squatted was 675.
125?
Nah. I squat withatted was 675. 125? Nah.
I squat with Nick Chubb.
No.
Me and Chubb squat the same.
We've got the same weight.
Dumbbell press.

I just don't know how to go back that far. Did they see you when I jumped over Al Harris?
They sent it to me.
Al looked like a little kid, man.
Did I jump over him, though?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
That was dope.
That was dope.
I'm going to give you props.
How many tight ends you know running comeback?
Name a tight end that you think can run a comeback.
Wait, you weren want that receiver?
I was a tight end.
Thank you.
But you ain't answering the question. What tight end
currently playing that you believe can run
a comeback on a corner?
Right now? Yes.
Take your time.
They ain't got nobody out there
like that.
Ain't nobody got

He come right up on my face.
That was slick.
So you thought, oh, sure.
You know, listen, I'm a visual.
I'm all about the visuals.
If I can't see it, you might say it, but I need to see it
so I get a better understanding of what you're talking about
because then if I don't see it, if you ain't got no footage,
I think you're lying.
Life or what?
I'm just saying.
Running speed out.
What time did you run?
Speed out.
10, roll to 12.
I ain't talking about stopping, breaking out.
Like you run.
Uh-uh.
Uh-uh.
I'm talking about the year.
You see.
Oh, you hurt.
Oh, man.
What you know about 10 roll to 12?

We dive into the competitive world of streaming.
What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core.
There are so many stories out there.
And if you can find a way to curate and help the right person discover the right content,
the term that we always hear from our audience is that they feel seen.

It became known as the Iran-Contra affair.
