As an agent, particularly when you recognize newer agents, do you believe that it's possible to figure every single thing out in this business that needs to be done easily or quickly every single thing that you like how do i write a contract how do i show a home how do i influence somebody to write an offer that's accepted no how do i do it it's impossible to be able to figure that out it's impossible to have that knowledge before you start. You just have to have faith in yourself and start anyways. I was one that got lost down that rabbit hole when I first started and really focused on more. So I got to do this.
Starting point is 00:01:56 I got to do that. When all I should have done was focused on getting the business. How did that change for you, Mindy? I met you, Dan. All right, let me give you an exercise to do today. Brainstorm for 30 minutes. Put on some jazz music. For 30 minutes, I want you to just envision
Starting point is 00:02:15 every single way that you could find business, every single way. And then I want you to stop the exercise. I want you to go take a break, take a walk, get a glass of water. Don't do these exercises at the same time. Come back an hour or two, or even maybe even tomorrow morning later. And then I want you to do a similar exercise where you play the music and you get out a new white piece of paper and you write down every single strength that you have. If your
Starting point is 00:02:38 brother would say, Hey, here's where you're strong at doing this. If your sister would say, Hey, here's where you're strong at doing this. If your sister would say, hey, here's where you're strong at doing this. If you have a boyfriend or a friend or whoever, your mom, what would they say you're great at doing? And write all of that down. And this isn't about business. This is about you as a human being, you as a beautiful person.
Starting point is 00:03:00 And write that down. Then a third exercise, stop that. This really has to be done in three segments. Sit back down a third time. Look at those two pieces of paper and match. And you say, here's where my beautiful strengths are. Here's all the ways that I could get business.
