I want to start with asking the questions of the daily CPI questions. So there's five questions
that I'd like to ask each day. And I'll tell you what those five questions are. Write this down if you could, please.
And I do this in my own life.
It's one of the first things that I do in the morning is to go through these five questions.
It's useful.
It's useful.
So question number one, what will you be grateful for today or what are you grateful for today?
What am I grateful for right now?
Question number two, who will I help today?
Question number three, how will I make good choices today?
Question number four, how will I have the best day of my life today?
Question number five, where will I find my next listing today? And so those are the five questions that I encourage
for you to ask yourself each day so from these questions the first four were derived from my
daughter and I started asking her these questions not all at the same time but they developed through
the years to add on to them but the first, pretty much from the time that she was like maybe
two and a half, three years old, up until she was around 10, and now she's 12. I still ask her
these questions, but it's a little bit of a different dynamic now when she lets me. And I
even know that she doesn't always answer these questions, right? Again, just what we were talking
about last week about the tie downs.
It's like encouraging the thought is what I'm doing.
Gratitude.
So, you know, we just celebrated Thanksgiving in America and that's a day of thanks.
Yet I ask myself daily, what am I grateful for today?
And what I know is that gratitude, true gratitude and negativity cannot coexist.
There was a time in my business career that I would say was the toughest time in my business
career ever when I fired a CEO of a company that I used to own.
And she was a very polarizing person.
And my business immaturity did not allow for me to understand what that would mean to the
organization.
And what it meant to the organization was that every top producer in the organization left and there was a lot of
conversation and a lot of you know it just sucked you know i don't know how else to describe it next
top producer just left i get a phone call from you know somebody in the office and i'm like okay well
i'm at the bottom i can't get any worse than this.
And then the next day, the next one.
My head really got raked through the coals.
Well, during that experience, and that experience was probably around a two or three-month experience,
longer than what I would have liked to have experienced.
I remember at this time, I had really embraced gratitude.
And I remember saying to myself each day,
well, I'm grateful that I'm having this experience right now so I can learn.
So I never have to go through this risk, you know, ever again, the rest of my life.
And that got me through that experience. It taught me to focus on gratitude, even when things suck,
especially when things suck. Now, that experience
is probably not as tragic as many other experiences that we have, right? You know, sickness, death,
breakups, whatever, you know, there's all kinds of different stuff that we can experience, right?
Yet, for me, it was pretty dramatic. And so I'm certainly not comparing it. Yet, I do encourage that in those bad times that you look
for what you can be grateful for thanks for listening to the show today I am truly passionate
about watching great business owners like you and sales people to grow and nothing excites me more
than hearing your incredible success stories and I invite. In fact, I dare you to reach out
to me on social Dan Roshan and ask me any question, whether you're struggling or just want to see one
of those great success stories. And I promise you I'll reach back to you. So until the next time,
have the best day of your life. Be grateful, make good choices, go help somebody and let's connect
on social.
