In this episode, Dan discusses the five most crucial activities a real estate agent should do.

So what are the five activities that we would be focusing on as agents?
Lead generate, convert leads to appointments, go on the appointment to get hired, negotiate scripts and role play.
That's where you make your money.
Those five activities.
So in searching for Zillow leads for for sale by owners on Zillow, does that fall in that
box of those of CPI time?
It doesn't.
It does not.
All right.

Does filling out paperwork fall in that box?
It doesn't.
There's one activity that I don't have
highlighted there that would rightfully have a rightful argument to say that they should be in
there and that's showing homes. Okay. And so I didn't put showing homes in there as the activity
because that's sort of in between attend the appointment to get hired and negotiate.
That's presumed that that's going to be where you're going to be able to make your money there.
So that's the one thing that you would make be considered to add.
Outside of showing homes, there's nothing else to add in there.
Designing a web page, building a Facebook page, designing a business card,
filling in a contract, doing a CMA.
None of that makes you money.
Now, is it necessary for sales?
Hell yes.
Absolutely.
I have something to say.
So that is like my, not my biggest issue right now because I'm just a starter, starting with
real estate.
So it's always that I need to like learn how to feel
conscious with the company that i am right now i do the polls like business cards everything
like by myself and right now i've been like overwhelmed tatiana if you stay with the company
that you're in right now let me give you a word of advice that will change your perspective and change your world.
There's only one thing for you to focus on and nothing else.
Right now, you're drinking from a fire hose.
It's just coming in at you, right?
And you're like, oh my God, what am I supposed to do?
That is the experience that you're having right now, correct?
Yes.
Okay, so I know the experience that you're having.
I want you to put up a little mask in front of you and have all that water go to the side except for one thing.
There's only one thing you need to figure out right now.
Find business.
Nothing else.
I don't care if you don't know how to write a contract. I don't care if you even know how to write an exclusive right to represent a buyer agreement or exclusive right to represent a seller agreement.
I don't care. You go and you find that client, somebody in your office will help you. Now that's if you stay with the office that you're in right now, right? If you join

thing for you to focus on right now is where can I find business from?
I don't care if you know how to do a listing appointment.
I don't care if you know how to show a home.
I don't care anything else because none of that matters without a client.
Once you get that client, then you get some help to be able to figure out the next steps,
which means that you have to have a confidence in your ability to figure it out quickly.
