So this script will gauge something else in your life.
And that something else in your life is how much do you give?
Okay.
Because I could tell you every single time that I use this script in my own sphere of influence,
I get a lot of referrals that may not be the highest grade referrals.
Okay.
But what that demonstrates to me is that when i say this to another person
that they feel obliged to be able to help me somewhere or another
okay so it's a good gauge because if you don't get that
and that may be indicating to you that you have an opportunity to be able to pour into them more so. Welcome to the No Broke Months for Real Estate Agents podcast.

but it can also be frustrating if you aren't making the money you deserve.

No Broke Months for Real Estate Agents explores the importance of prioritizing your values in

real estate career. Quick question for you, Dan. Just maybe you can help me get out of my head on this one.
As far as when you're delivering that and you say that, you know, you want to meet your goals because you want to help as many people as possible.
I mean, obviously, we want to help people as many people as possible.
But I just in my head, I'm thinking, yeah, people are like, yeah, right.
You want to make money, you know.
So how do how do
i think about that different way let me let me give you a gauge so you'll know so so this script
will gauge something else in your life and that something else in your life is how much do you give
okay because i could tell you every single time that i use this script in my own sphere of
influence i get a lot of referrals that may not be the highest grade referrals okay but what that
demonstrates to me is that when i say this to another person that they feel obliged to be able to help me some way or another.
Gotcha. Yeah. Okay.
So much so that they'll end up, you know, give me a referral. That's not, you know, that referral that you're necessarily looking for.
Okay. So it's a good gauge because if you don't get that,
and that may be indicating to you that you have an opportunity to be able to
pour into the more so.
So now when you're pouring into them more so,
it doesn't matter because you earn the right to ask. Gotcha. Yeah. And if you're more comfortable
to say, hey, look, I've not met my financial goals yet. That's completely fine. Because
if you're helping, helping, helping, helping, helping, helping, can you help me with a problem?
Sure.
I had a listing prospect last week that hired another agent.
And when I called, I got this guy from an open house about six months ago, and I followed up with him throughout the last six months.
And then when I called him, he says, oh, yeah, Dan, thanks for reaching out.
I'm coming soon.
I hired another agent.
And I hung up the phone with him. And you soon. I hired another agent and I hung up the
phone with them. And you know that I had good energy when I hung up the phone. You guys want
to know why I had good energy? Because I knew that I followed up with them appropriately. I knew I did
the activity. Okay. I don't judge myself on the outcomes. I judge myself on the activity.
Now the timing just sucked. Okay. But I did my job. And as long as I did my job and as long as i did my job i'm okay if i don't always win
i always am committed to win right yet as long as i do my job then i can judge myself with a good
faith and that's very very different than what most people do they judge themselves by the outcomes
not by the activity everybody have the best of your life. Be grateful, make good choices, go help somebody
and go do your activity today
so that you can go find a listing.
God bless you.
