Commit or Quit. Sales Coach Dan Rashan of No Broke Months for Salespeople shares a powerful message.
If you want to succeed in your business, you must commit fully or quit.
Dan shares personal experiences, demonstrating how those who commit to their vision thrive, while those who dabble or doubt end up frustrated or burned out.
The choice is clear. Commit or quit.
In this new episode of No Broke Months for Salespeople, discover the mindset shift that will push you toward your business goals.
Recognizing the obstacles is the first step to overcome them and once you recognize that not good enough is the obstacle then you have a choice
and the choice that you're going to get or that you have once you realize what is the obstacle, is to commit or quit.
So you've got three choices, really, but I'm going to narrow it down to two.
The three choices that you have is to be in sales and get meager results,
or to commit and be all in, or to quit.
Those are your three choices.
Get meager results, commit and be all in, or quit.
Because I will not tolerate meager results, I'm going to just eliminate that for you,
and I'm going to give you two choices, commit or quit. That's your two choices. When I say commit or quit, I mean commit or quit. And it's as simple as that. If
you want success in sales, you have to be able to commit to the simple habits that will gradually
lead to the results of your desired outcomes. And you've got to be able to have faith that you're going to
get there now often fears or doubts gets in our way of being able to get to those results i remember
when i was in um this is when my daughter maggie was around seven or eight years old we went to a
resort in puttacana and it was a place where the Cirque du Soleil
would practice. It was like their B team, like their farm team. And Cirque du Soleil would
practice all their aerobics and acrobats rather. And they would go out and they'd fly on top of
the trapeze and they would do all this really cool stuff to entertain the guests there.
And part of that was they would bring kids up, they'd put them on a harness and they would have
them over top of the trapeze. Well,ie was climbing up that ladder one day and she got
about halfway up and she froze and she comes back down remember seven-year-old maggie so i come over
to her at the bottom of this of the uh of this the uh ladder wasn't stairs it was a ladder and i come
over to her and i whisper in her ear i said baby what's going on she's like I'm scared daddy I said okay do you trust me she says yeah of course daddy I said just please trust
me you've got two people they got you on a rope they're gonna they're gonna be really really make
sure that you're safe there's no way that you're in danger do you trust me she says yes daddy and
then she climbed up that ladder she got to the top of the trapeze and she took the thing and
there are you know the Cirque du Soleil people were there they were holding her and they let
go of her and she swung atop that net she's like 50 yards up in the I mean in the 50 feet up into
the air and she swings across the net back and forth and back and forth she comes down to the
net the nets again the nets around 12 feet up off the like you
can't even reach the ground from the top of the net the people help her down off the net and guess
what she does she runs right back over to the ladder i was like whoa wait a second come back
here uh sweetie and i she comes back and i said what are you feeling she's like leave me alone
dad i'm like no no wait wait what are you feeling she's like like, leave me alone, dad. I'm like, no, no, no. Wait, wait.
What are you feeling? She's like, this was great. It was awesome. It was amazing. I said, okay,
I want you to think, what were you feeling before you went up the ladder the first time?
She was like, I was afraid, but let me go. Let me go. So later that day, because she wasn't really equipped at that point, she was so excited. We had the conversation again at dinner.
And what I demonstrated to her was that when she was fearful at we had the conversation again at dinner and what I demonstrated to her
was that when she was fearful at the beginning climbing up that ladder
on the other side of that fear was amazement was joy was excitement was fun and what I want you to
understand is if you have fear that's holding you back if you have fear that's holding you back, if you have doubt that's holding you back,
on the other side of that is amazement, fun, joy, profitability, the goals that you intend
to be able to achieve. And so I encourage for you to consider what's on the other side of that fear.
And then as you consider what's on the other side of that fear, I ask for you to commit.
Or if you're not willing to commit, quit.
And why do I say quit instead of getting meager results?
Because you deserve to live the life
worth living. If it's not in sales, if you're not willing to commit to it, you still deserve
a life worth living, but you don't deserve meager results. So my recommendation to you is to find
something that you can commit to. Now, if it's sales, I'm going to help you.
If that's what you're willing to commit to, I'm here for you.
The team is here for you.
We got your back.
But my request of you is to be all in, is to commit.
Boom.
And be ready to freaking rock and roll.
