Basma, you got a lot of great things going on, a lot of great successes.
So keep up the good work.
Thank you.
But I'm still making some mistakes here and there and trying to avoid them.
But since I fixed it, I'm going to share it.
Okay.
I was so busy, I forgot about the walkthrough
for my client's house.
But I called the agent
and we scheduled the walkthrough yesterday.
So let's take a look at that real quick, Mazma.
The real opportunity isn't that you missed the walkthrough.
The real opportunity is managing your schedule more effectively. Yes. Because if you don't create a plan to accommodate
for that, then that's an opportunity that's going to keep hitting you in the head. Yeah. So what do
we need to do to come up with a foolproof plan to have that happen moving forward?
And before you answer that question, I want to share with you what I do and see if that may allow for you some inspiration.
Would that be OK? I haven't always done this today. I live my live my life on my calendar.
There's not a single thing that I do that's not on my calendar. Nothing. Every
single thing in my life, if you go back to last week, you can see that everything has a space on
it. So I met with Sherry last week, and then I went to the lacrosse game right after that.
Now, I got a lot of people that jump into my calendar to manage things and add things.
And the rule that I have on my team, for example, is you could add anything into my calendar if there's an empty spot.
As long as I don't have to travel in between it, you know, you have to add that travel time.
I'm going to accept it because I'm going to I'm going to assume that you've already looked at my calendar before you put it on there.
So I'm not even going to look, I'm just going to say yes. It takes a lot of commitment to use a tool like that and to be that disciplined,
but that discipline causes it so that I rarely, if ever miss an appointment. And in fact, the only
time that I may miss an appointment would be like in the morning when I know that I've got lead
generation scheduled. So if I accept something else at like 8 a.m., like I'm not normally looking,
I don't look at my calendar and I may forget.
So I got to leave myself a note before I go to sleep. Hey, check your calendar.
You got an 8 a.m. book. Cause I never book at eight.
I've never thought about putting my, like the personal stuff I'm doing.
I think that's my mistake because for example if I have to pick up my
daughter from school on my calendar so I have to mix like the business and the personal calendar
in one place so I don't miss things because you only have one life right so if you're you're
dividing business and personal it's almost like you're living two lives right yeah and then those
two lives can
conflict with each other and that's where you screw things up yeah so i have to start doing
that the only downside is is i pretty much never have the chance to book anything within a week
i have a question in reference to the block schedule first there's a thank you for sharing because sure of course um but with that being said i i do keep the
schedule um not as tight but i'm sure it's gonna get tight like that and my question with thee is
how do you ensure things are beginning and ending on time? Like when dealing with others? I set the expectations. Okay. I
design and create my life. We all have a choice. Here's a choice that you have to make. You either
live life by design or live life by default. That's your choice. So what I mean by that is that
you're either going to let other people control your time, you know, or you're going to take charge of it.
So you do have to learn to teach other people how to treat you.
I gotcha.
All right.
That's making sense.
Okay.
Thank you.
You're welcome.
