But I actually truly believe that 100% of the time, the actual conversion factor of change is tied back to love.
Is love the link between real estate, business growth, and happiness?
I believe love is the link between all happiness.
It's letting everything that we do in business and real estate be founded and guided to meet principles of love.

just gets spread to the world. Welcome to the No Broke Months for Salespeople podcast,

Don't miss Christopher Schleierman on the No Broke Months podcast.
Hello, friends. My name is Dan Rochon.
I'm the host of the No Broke Months for Salespeople podcast,
where you learn how to teach to sell,
which is the new way to persuade human behavior.
And when you teach to sell,
you're going to unlock consistent and predictable income. You're going to strengthen relationships
to achieve self-fulfillment, and you're going to avoid the number one sales mistake to never
face rejection again and learn how to use normal holistic programming to influence
and handle difficult people. Welcome to the show.
Today, I am joined with Chris Schleerman, and Chris and I are going to talk about how to be
able to build wealth while you maintain your well-being, how to be able to discover the
links between real estate, between business growth and happiness. And Chris has a really cool background.
He's got 10 years in tech, working as a tech company.
He founded in a brand management business as well.
He's done his call, his big win has been Olipop.
Maybe you could tell us a little more about what Olipop is.
And right now he's working with a gentleman named Danny Perkinson on a company called Prana. So he's got a lot of business experience and I'm happy to talk to you
today, Chris, to be able to sort of connect the dots between your business experience and happiness
and real estate, how that all works together. So welcome. How are you? Appreciate you, brother. I'm
so happy to be on this show. My pleasure. So Chris, before we jump into this, so you're in Phoenix, Arizona, but your home base is California.
How long have you been in Phoenix for?
I've been living here in Phoenix for just under three years.
And I've loved it, man. I've loved it.
I do like Arizona, man. This is like my in Arizona. I'm coming back to my father's.
I know you've had quite the journey in business, ups, downs, that type of thing. I want to learn a little bit more about that. Why don't we start with Holly Pop?
Tell us what that is, because I want to get that out of the way because I want to really dive into real estate.
But I'm really curious about that.
And I want to know, like, what is it?
What was your journey through it?
Like, walk us through where the inspiration was, what your challenges may be, because I think there's really good stuff for all salespeople to learn from that.
So can you share with us a little about that?
Yeah, so Holly Pop was a venture deal that I that I did a little over three years ago now.
There's this group out of Utah called the Space Station.
They do a lot.
They do SPV syndicated deals.
And I'm on the homies with those dudes.
And they plugged me in on this deal called Olipop.
And I looked at the deal on the Rift
and I'd said no to a lot of deals.
They bitched to me at that point.
But that deal specifically, I looked at it,
tasted it, actually tasted the product
and then looked at who the space station dudes were
and like what their actual expertise was.
And I was like, even though this wasn't a product
that I was going to buy myself as a consumer
on like a regular recurring basis, I knew that it was going to be a win.
Because I looked at who they were and I looked at the track record of the drink category over the past, you know, 15, 20 years.
And, you know, like the big wins like vitamin water and buy some bigger drinks like and how how the process
goes and i i heard uh like on the deck whatever the like the video call with the founders wally
pop like what they said that their track record was and where they wanted to take the company
and everything's you know everything's kind of lined up so i was like yeah i'm gonna i'm gonna
totally invest in this company and it's like six seven x at this point in three years so what what made you say because you said besides like
researching the people i think that's a good lesson for us to learn right it's the people
like no matter what you do in business whatever what you do in life is that it's you want to have
a happy relationship with your wife meet the right right wife and the right person, right?
You know what I mean?
And then everything else sort of works itself out.
So besides the people and besides it was a good product,
what else made you say, hey, this is a win?
Well, so the people element, to touch on that real quick,
it's what I look for in the people, right?
It's what I look for in the people.
I'm not looking at what you've done.
I don't give a shit what
you've done in your life.
I look at how you
treat others and where your mindset is
on things. Do you have
the ability to
do you see the value
in others and the product? Do you have vision
for others and
yourself and the product?
And then you have the ability to make a decision
that's what I look for and so when I look at you know say a company like this it's like cool
do you actually understand your target audience do you want to give if you understand the value
that this product provides to that target audience? Do you understand where this, like, an actual exit plan for how this product's going to go?
And do you have a, you know, like an actual plan of action to get there?
Right?
Like, and then it's, do I believe that you are being led by greed and ego?
Or are you being led by this drive to bring this product to that target
audience passion yeah passion would you describe that as passion rather than ego yeah so if i if
you're someone who's being led by ego and pride you know you're just trying to have the public win of,
hey, I sold this company for a billion dollars.
I'm never going to put money in you ever.
Yeah.
Just I'm not going to do it because I,
you're a dime a dozen at that point.
There's a lot of people out there that are led by ego like that.
I've got us.
And at that point, at the end of the day,
when the hard decisions come in a business,
if you are showing that you are led by ego and pride, I already know how you're going to make what kind of decisions you're going to make.
When those hard decisions come, you're going to lean on your ego and your pride.
Versus if you're led by the mission of delivering that product to the world.
I know also how you're going to what kind of decisions you're going to make.
You're going to put the product and the customer first.
And because I saw that, I know that in the space station people,
and I saw that in the Olipop people, I was like, that's going to be a win.
It's about the people. Thank you for sharing that with us.
Tell us about before,
and there's a couple of things I want to just like, I'm really curious about, but
the Consistently Connected Podcast, C2A, tell us about what is that? And so this is for listeners
of the No Broke Months channel. After you're done listening to the No Broke Months channel,
then we're going to, you know, make the recommendation you get to the C2A. Tell us
about that if you could. Oh, awesome. I appreciate that, man. We got to have you on the C2A. Tell us about that if you could. Oh, awesome. I appreciate that, man. We got to
have you on the C2A.
The C2
will connect to podcasts. There's a podcast
where we highlight authentic people.
There are their stories.
And
we let them share their story.
No filter.
Completely out there. You know, we
go back to like their childhoods
and then we let the conversation go where it's gonna go
we've had we had we had a guest come on about a month ago uh bubba page i'll call it out right
now why the hell not you know i'm being authentic and his episodes already got live
and it was like a therapy episode
for him.
You know,
and I loved it.
It was so pure
and beautiful.
Like,
he was just
getting his whole
heart out.
You know,
and I know
that episode's
going to help
someone else.
Right?
It's the idea
is the words
that are said
are the words
that God needs said.
And so,
we just provide
the platform to let people share what they need to talk about, you know?
Sure, Nat.
I really appreciate it.
So your venture now that you're working on with Danny Perkinson is Prana.
Tell us more about that if you could.
Yeah, dude.
So I'm excited about this.
Prana's going to be coming out and rolling out live to the world in January 2025. Very excited about this problem is going to be coming out rolling out live to the world january 2025 very excited about this prana is the essence of vitality and the spark of life that's
what prana actually means that's like the death the definition of of uh on it's way more than
just breath and the idea of prana is it's a real estate company that is helping reshape the way the commercial real estate is done.
That's the idea of Prana.
So it's a brokerage property management company that is focused on building connected, conscious brokers. Actually building brokers from the ground root
that are not operating on a transactional basis
with customers and clients,
but more a spiritual, harmonic, and energetic connection
with customers and clients.
Changing the landscape of real estate.
How would they do that?
And how would the company change the landscape
it's so it changed the landscape from the standpoint of the way the transactions are
being done right now we have a core belief with our background real estate of it's it's
extremely transactional right now which has created an ecosystem where there's no fulfillment and there is the scalability of
certain clients and customers dies because they're getting,
because there was an energy suck when you're dealing with transactional
relationships rather than a spiritual,
harmonic,
energetic connection,
which is,
you know,
to our essence,
who we are as a person.
Right.
So with the agents,
it starts with us at the top of the founding group.
You know, we do breath work.
We align with seven energy signals of the body.
We do these things and then we push that culture into the actual people,
making sure that they themselves operate on that alignment, right?
You operate from love.
I want to, I love my client.
I want to help my client
rather than I'm just trying to transact
the deal for my clients.
Therefore, I will help my client
truly optimize and scale
whatever they're trying to do
rather than just viewing it as a one-off deal.
Right?
And you see that actually in business.
You know, there's franchises, for example. There's multifamily investors, for example, land developers, for example, that I've known and I've seen how I've been in those spots of having transactional realtors, where the act of having a transactional real estate arrangement kills the velocity of whatever you were trying to do. It's coming from a place of love, connection,
and an alignment of energy, which is connection,
to be able to help the other
rather than coming from a transaction.
Do I understand that correctly?
That's correct, yeah.

Chris, tell me about Chris.
Who's Chris?
Those three Chrises.
So Chris is a
30 year old
son of God
living in Phoenix, Arizona
who has
gone through some shit in his life
whether through
the divorce process
legal challenges in businesses,
challenges with weight, self-esteem, depression,
whatever it may be,
but has also come out of it to a new Chris
that is, you know, I've had my wins as well.
I've had my connection to God. I've had my visions of well I've had my connection to God I've had my visions
of what I need to do and what I can't do I've gotten into a place of realness with who I am
and healing and confidence with who I am and Chris is somebody who's just wanting to spread
the spread love and positivity in the program and help impact the world positively.
That's who Chris is.
And that's the depression and the self-esteem and the core self-reflection or self-image.
Yeah, it's just come from being able to get rid of the shame and guilt and just being authentic.
What caused it before you got rid of it?
What caused it?
What caused it was deep core wounds when I was a kid with my dad.
You know, I think growing up in a church that was a bit, you know, a church culture and a family culture with my own family back home that was very much rooted in shame and guilt and rigidness.
And I have, and it's not saying casting a stone on any of these people or these church organizations, you know,
because everyone's in their own journey, right?
And everyone's in their own place.
And I have got to a spot where I was kind of forced to have to be in my own house in the dark for months at a time solo this year.
Where I was, you go crazy.
You know what I mean?
It's that kind of environment.
If you're not okay with yourself, which I wasn't, and I was having panic attacks going crazy.
And it's been a process of being able to be like yeah i can look in the mirror and i'm okay
with myself in fact i love myself i am very very happy with myself i can openly tell people about
the things i've done wrong done right i can accept it and i can accept that the things i've done
right or wrong in my life were part of what it may be it's helped shape and mold me to who I am today
right and it's
I welcome it
because I needed that it was the only thing that was
going to help me get to the spot where I'm at
the Olipop deal for example
like I wouldn't have had
the opportunity of Olipop
if it wasn't for mistakes that I
made that year
that led me to being in a relationship with the space station guys.
You know what I mean?
Like the wins and the losses of life.
Life is a spectrum.
It's not black and white.
Life is a spectrum.
And you have to accept that and let it go through the roller coaster.
You know?
There is no such thing as wins and losses.
It just is.
And it's whether or not you take looking life as a are you going to learn from this or are you going to not learn from this and
if you don't learn from this recognize that the longer you delay learning from this is just going
to make things harder and make the learning process steeper later. Yeah, I often say that the only mistake in life is to either choose or be unaware that you have
the choice to learn when you take an action that doesn't produce the result that you want it to
produce or produces a reason or maybe you hadn't even thought about the the outcome that it would produce but when you do something and you get get something that you don't like then that's a
learning opportunity 100 of the time and then if you choose not to learn from it uh you know then
maybe that is the mistake and i don't know if that's quite accurate but that's sort of the way
i perceive things do you you like is that aligning with what you're saying yeah i'm vibing with what you're saying bro i'm up what you're
saying like you know and i also have this belief that you know you i've heard this said in today's
world several times where it's like oh like a narcissist won't ever change or a liar is always a liar. I fundamentally disagree.
You know, I have a belief of everybody can change.
Everybody has their own challenges and conflicts and inner rustles and hells they're going through
and whatever that level that may look like.
And everybody has the same opportunity to change and grow.
And everybody has, and that's why don't hold
i don't hold grudges with people you know i've had i've been wronged by some people even recently
pretty intensely it's like don't hold grudges life's too short and everyone's on their own
everyone's on their own journey you know and just give love because love is the way that people actually heal.
Love is the actual only way that people truly choose to just heal and change.
Do you think, and I agree with you that a narcissist can change that, you know, that anybody can change, you know, if you desire to do so. I've also observed that it's most likely a significant setback,
perhaps a trauma, perhaps, you know, we talk about failures and success,
but, you know, proceed failure.
I'll use that word to properly communicate that.
That helps people to make that change.
And I think it's most likely that somebody who's not, doesn't have like the, you know,
like, like the, the caring, loving, kind behavior internally that they express externally, that
it's most likely they're going to change in a sense of trauma.
Now it's not always the case.
Anybody can change.
But do you believe that it's likely without
something really, really significantly bad
happening that somebody would change?
And if so, how?
I will admit
and I will say that
unfortunately because of the
pride cycle of man,
the way
that people change is there's something pretty
significant.
That is unfortunately how it has to go.
That's how it happened for me.
That's how it's seen happening.
You know, human history, if you study human history, that's just fact.
The fact that the natural man is quite proud.
And the only way to really break that pride is through something significant happening.
A way, the most common way.
It's the most common way that that happens.
There are ways that it can happen outside of that.
But, you know, just due to the fact of the natural man being so proud, that is how it goes.
Because let's say if you have that that personality and you know i think for the
most part if you have that personality that you're not going to be aware you're not going to probably
lack an awareness right but and i think that's why the the things that like are bad that push
against you brings like an awareness of like wait how the heck did i create this and then maybe like
an understanding of themselves right but. But absent again, absent that
happening, I think the only other way that I've seen it is through love of somebody else loving
you. Right. And so, so, and that's gotta be an unconditional love. And I'll share this with you.
I, um, I've been sober for 18 years and, um, and I only quit drinking one time and I was a
raging alcoholic.
And so don't put that on my profile, whoever's editing this, right?
But the way that I was able to enter into recovery, I mean, it was certainly some bad things.
But it was also some love as well because someone told me, said, Dan, I want to let you know that, you know, I love you.
And I'm going to love you regardless of the decisions that you make. I'd like to love you for a longer period of time. And I'd love to love a healthier version of you. And if you were to make different changes, then I'd be able to,
you know, experience a healthier version of you. And most likely, you know, you'll be around
longer. And if you don't make those changes, most likely you're going to die pretty soon
and you're going to be unhealthy from here to there.
And that was a piece of like a boom, turning point for me.
I had some bad shit happening too, right?
It wasn't just the love, but for me it was a combination.
Yeah, well, so that's why I say like that's why I'll kill.
Be more impeccable with my work because I believe in the five agreements, you know, and being impeccable with the word being one of those.
Of the cause, the thing that actually helps more times than not kind of break the cycle is the significant thing that happens because you need to kind of get your pride broken.
But I actually truly believe that 100% percent of the time the actual conversion factor
of change is tied back to love yeah because that is the love is the most powerful force on
the you in the universe it is what directly ties us back to elite time yacht the father, mother, and the son, literally the evolved creation right there.
So love is what you need to have, which is where, again, we put a big emphasis on our
brokerage and, you know, we're going to be going out and taking it to, you know, other
different business verticals, you know, different business protocols you know going forward but it's the idea of creating
zen warriors not commercial brokers and zen because a zen warrior is someone who is
their foundation is love they've changed the way they breathe
opening up the vagus nerve, bringing in EDRF,
literally pumping energy to their heart,
going through the whole cycle, the literal change of the body,
aligning the energy signals, and creating love brokers, and then just pushing that army of love into the world,
changing the energy that's out there.
Businesses live and die by sales. And if you really want to sell, you have to understand
it's not about you. You have to think about the other person's experience so that you can teach
them about what to expect, about what's coming for them so you
can earn their trust. And sales thrive on that trust. But how do you build trust? You do so
through mastery. And that's where Teach to Sell comes in. So teaching someone shows them
that you know what you're talking about. And that leads to sales.
So if you're looking to boost your sales,
you should focus on teaching,
which is why I wrote the book,
Teach to Grow Rich,
how to increase your influence,
avoid the number one sales mistake,
and get what you want.
I invite for you to get your copy of Teach to Grow Rich, and you can do so by visiting www.teachtosellnow.com
That's

So that you can have
no broke months.
Is love the link between
real estate, business growth, and happiness?
I believe love is
the link between
all happiness. What's the link between all happiness.
What's the link between real estate, business growth, and happiness?
The link between business and real estate of what we're doing is love.
It's letting everything that we do in business and real estate
be founded and guided some of the principles of love.
And when we do that, when we let love lead ours, every single day when we do work, before
we start business, real estate, wherever it may be, aligning ourselves to grounding principles,
meditation, breath, prayer, scripture, and just making sure that we are fully aligned with god and that we are looking at
these people that we serve every day as children of god that we love when we do that and we
then go forth and act out of love we are unhappy and that client that we just serviced is also happy because they are feeling that
connection. They are feeling that love. And then that love just gets spread to the world.
What are you doing today that our listeners and viewers can emulate or do that would
instantly make a positive change for them specifically?
I would recommend everybody truly work on themselves from the standpoint of
put the time in to do breath, scripture, prayer, meditation,
mindful movement, mindful eating, right?
Like truly align your body in all of these facets.
Commit to that, making that a core part of your day.
You will see changes in how you feel about yourself, feel about others, and the energy that you feel
around you because you create the chaos in your life.
Make your life stable and snuff out the chaos.
You'll see it.
You'll feel it.
What's the biggest challenge you're facing today?
Biggest challenge I'm facing today is the devil coming after me.
Literally.
Oh, sir.
Literally coming after me.
Just interactions and people that come throughout my life right now that try to, you know, bring fiery darts.
Is this personal both
both
can you give us an example
you from a business perspective I'll speak on the fact that it's like
you know as you're leading up to getting a business launched
there is there becomes
alignment and realignment that has to happen within
partners and outside voices that then
impact those partners on what they think and how they view the world
and then they bring that energy into the workplace each day and you have
to continuously work through that
you know if you're
if you know what I mean.
I think, um, what I've recognized is I've had business partners that had been incredibly,
um, the best fits ever.
And I've had business partnership and horrifically the worst fits ever.
And that doesn't make them bad people.
It makes us not a good connection, not a good fit.
Um, and you know, what I recognize is when you have the right fit,
you can work through anything.
You know, and that just takes, you know, connectivity.
It takes, you know, asking adept questions and then actively listening,
you know, and truly actively listening to who are they being,
what are they saying, not just their words.
And then finding areas that there may be a disconnect
and then asking questions and figuring out how do we get that disconnect to be connected?
And that's at least been my experience.
What are your thoughts on that?
Yeah, I mean, I would approach it from a mentality of, of, uh, screw you, you know?
Like when I have a, if I have somebody come in with some energy,
it just kind of be the, get defensive, puff up the chest, you know,
kind of, kind of, kind of vibe for me. But now it's a,
I can recognize why they feel the way they do. And I, and I know the energy that's behind them,
that's leading them to say the words they're saying. And it's like, all right, let me, let's,
let's slow this moment down. Let's be fully present. You know, bones down, whatever it may be.
And let me just feel your energy and let you feel my energy.
I'm going to put love toward you.
And then let's have that moment to just connect hearts right now and really get it off your chest.
Why do you feel that way?
You know, Daniel, for example, in this case, my partner Daniel, is one of the partners. It's like, why do you feel that way you know Daniel for example in this case my partner Daniel was
he's one of the partners it's like why do you feel that way really let me know this is a moment for
true authenticity tell me why you feel that way and then when we go through that exercise and
we actually take the time to be present and work through it then the connection just grows stronger
what happens when you're not able to have that connection
i mean if you don't have that connections you just have to really take a quick step back to
just really align of like if this person's not truly aligned with me then is this this
partnership may not be able to continue you know and it doesn't mean that they're bad or the connection may not come back,
but at least at this stage of the, at this stage of our lives,
it's not a fit, you know what I mean? And, you know,
we've had to have that, I've had to have that tough, tough, tough talk.
He and him have both had that,
that tough talk with some other folks over the course of this year.
And it's like, you know, it is what it is, you know,
but the door always stays open.
You know, you don't shut doors on people.
You shut doors on energy, raising the standard of this is the standard,
and you've got a brain.
Somebody get in touch with you, Chris, to learn more.
Well, they can go check out our Instagram, C2A.
I would just go there, honestly.
I would check that out.
