Bosma, share with us, where did I meet Doug? Like, how did I get connected with Doug? I told Doug that I have like a realtor who would be able to help him. So you heard about him through me. Okay, so a referral.
Starting point is 00:01:49 Are you a person or are you an agent in that scenario? A person. All right. And what's your relationship to Doug? We go to the same church. Okay. Ring, ring. Hello, it's Doug.
Starting point is 00:02:03 Hello, it's Dan. Hello, it's Dan. Doug, it's Dan Rochon. How are you doing today? Doing well, thank you, Dan. How can I help you? Okay, well, my name's Dan, and Basma from your church had asked for me to give you a phone call.
Starting point is 00:02:18 I'm a local real estate agent. She mentioned that you're in the market to buy a home. Are you in the market to, yes? Yeah. Fantastic. Just starting to look. Just market to buy a home. Are you in the market to, yes? Fantastic. Just starting to look. Just starting to look. Okay. Am I calling you at a bad time? No, I can talk now. All right. Let's take a break right there. So that's the entry. All right. So what we'll do is we'll practice the entry because otherwise it's going to be too much for us to practice.
Starting point is 00:02:41 Some pointers of what I did there. Doug said, say hello again, if you could. Hello, it's Doug. Hello, it's Dan. Hey, Dan. All right. So what did I do? I repeated his words back in the same tonality, the same inflection and the same words. Just changed Doug to Dan. Okay. So that was the first piece that I did. Ring, ring. Hello, it's Doug. Hello, it's Dan. I'm a local real estate agent.
Starting point is 00:03:11 I used the word local real estate agent. And then I made the connection of how I got, how I know him. Bosma asked for me to give you a call. So Bosma Freeview Church asked for me to give you a phone call. Those are important words right there. Ask me to give you a phone call because it's more like you're positioning yourself. You're framing yourself such that you are providing, like you're doing him a favor. Okay. And her a favor as well. You do a Bob's a favor. You're doing Doug a favor in the way that I'm presenting that. You guys see how the words are important there. All right. So who'd like to go first?
Starting point is 00:03:46 I can go. Okay. I'll be the buyer. So the way we start this, you just go ring, ring, and then I answer, then you go. And we flip it. So for the scenario moving forward, because for the scenario moving forward, Dan introduced you. Dan is a friend of yours from church. Okay. Ring, ring. Hello? Hi. Is this Dan? Dan is a friend of yours from church. Okay. Ring, ring. Hello. Hi. Is this Dan?
Starting point is 00:04:09 All right. Somebody give her an X. Because you said hello. I said, hi. Well, if you look at it, I said, hello. And you said, hi. Okay. So there's an automatic disconnect right there.
Starting point is 00:04:24 Okay. Okay. So let's try that again so pay attention to me pay attention to my energy pay attention to my spirit pay attention to me don't pay attention to what you're saying okay pay attention to me be connected to me so let's forget about any of the words there's only one way that you win in this game. Starting point is 00:05:37 Energetically, same words, not hi. I didn't say hi. I said hello. Okay. Okay. Ring, ring. Hello say hello. Okay. Okay. Ring, ring. Hello. Hello.
Starting point is 00:05:49 Dan? Oh, yeah. This is Dan. Who's this? Oh, this is Basma. I'm a local real estate agent. I'm calling you because Doug from your church asked me to call you. Am I calling you in a bad time?
Starting point is 00:06:03 Oh, no, no, no. I got a few minutes. Okay. Doug told me that you are looking to buy a home. Are you looking to buy a home? All right. Fantastic. Fantastic. Really, really good. All right. We're going to move on to the next person. A little bit of feedback there for you and everybody else. So Doug said that you're in the market to buy a home. Are you in the market to buy a home? Okay. When you said it, you said buy a home.
Starting point is 00:06:30 I'm not replicating that directly, but you asked, it went upwards. And so when you go upwards in your reflection, it conveys uncertainty. Okay. Instead, you want to convey directness to the subconscious that you're going to buy a home. You hear the difference? Yep. All right. Good job, Bosma. You did a really, really good job. Now pay attention with the inflection. So that's a little bit of an opportunity for you, right? So that's okay. Just slow down, pay attention and pay attention. If I go hollow, you go hollow. If I go sharp, you go sharp. If I go sharp, you go sharp. If I go
