Starting point is 00:00:52 How to create strong connections through energy. Real estate coach Dan Roshan of No Broke Months for Real Estate Agents talks about the powerful ways to connect with the use of your own energy. In this episode, Dan explains how mirroring behaviors and energy and creating anchors to leave a lasting impact on people will help you in establishing stronger connections with them. Learn more about what these connection bridges are in this new No Broke Months for Real Estate Agents episode. So report, connection of energy, to connect with their energy, connect with their physical being. If they have their hand on their face, you have your hand on your face like this. You can also, in addition to mimicking the body language, you can mimic the language,
Starting point is 00:01:40 the exact words, the tonality, the inflection, the volume, the pace. So these are some ways that you can connect physically. Of course, we're not physically touching, touching, but we're physically connecting based off of our energy, our body posture, the words that we're using and how we're using them. When I introduce myself, how do I introduce myself? You say, Dan, and then you pause for a minute and then you say, Rochelle. Okay. That's called an anchor. I had an agent in the last brokerage, Allison, the last brokerage I was with. And Allison one day asked me, Dan, why do you do that? And I share with her why I did it, which is an anchor. I do that so that my name can anchor into another person's mind. About a week later, we go to this event. And I had
Starting point is 00:02:34 a bunch of agents that I was hosting to the event. And Allison goes up to the young lady at the front who was the granddaughter, grown granddaughter of the regional operating partner but I never met the granddaughter but she knew of me because of the role that I played at the time which was an operating partner and so basically I reported to her grandmother in some sort of sense and so Allison goes to the event and Allison says, oh, I'm here with somebody. The young lady behind the desk says, oh, are you here with Dan Roshan? And this was about a week after I had Allison and I had that conversation. So she really, really got a kick out of it. But the most interesting thing is, is I never met that lady, the one behind the desk until that day. So somehow or another, that anchor was heard, whether she saw a video I did, or her grandmother was talking
Starting point is 00:03:32 to her about me, or maybe her uncle, who I'm pretty close with as well. One way or another, somebody was communicating about me to her, or she heard me communicate. And that's the way that who I am resounds in her head. Now, I share that with you to describe to you what an anchor is not for you to do anything with your names. But I want to tell you a little hack right now. In rapport, here's something that you have to understand. We're talking about subjective experience. In communication, you have the communication of one, that's you. And then you have communication of one and two, that's Cullen and Dan, or you and somebody else. In that communication, would have a perception of that communication. If we were all connected, which we are, the oneness of the universe would observe that communication. So even in a communication, and we say communication is the response that
Starting point is 00:04:40 you get, there's many different responses that can occur between a communication. And so that today is some of the basic principles of the CPI communication model and about communication. Thanks so much for listening to the No Broke Months podcast today. Until the next show, I invite for you to be grateful, make good choices, help someone, have the best day of your life, and go find a listing.
