How to determine if your hire would be successful in the future. Real estate coach Dan Rashan from No Broke Months for Real Estate Agents discusses what you need to know when hiring people to work for you. In this episode, Dan explains that knowing people's past, whether hiring them or letting people into your life,
Starting point is 00:01:18 is essential because it reflects their future. Learn to determine if they will succeed in the latest No Broke Months for Real Estate Agents episode. We're talking about hiring. So that's what this process is. And for some of us, you may be thinking right now, like, well, what the heck does that have to do with me? Because I don't hire. I don't bring people into my life.. We all bring people into our lives. If you're in a place right now where you believe that you're not bringing people into your life or that hiring people is not important, then then I would invite for you to reconsider. So I want to ask you guys some questions and I'm going to tie this all back into like how it can apply to you and your world for all of us.
Starting point is 00:02:09 If I'm going to ask for you to have sort of an open mind and just consider like without like an agenda or initiative or like an intention rather, just answer these questions if you could. So I'm going to ask you, when was a time that an agent in your office made you feel uncomfortable? There was a time in my office where an agent of the opposite sex was being inappropriate to me. So I'll just leave it at that. And so that made me uncomfortable. All right. So that's a time that made me uncomfortable. I don't want to really describe that story. All right. Who's next?
Starting point is 00:02:48 I think I had more from the transaction side because I was part of a big team. So, you know, we had deals happening within each other. And from the other side, she was fairly a new agent. And she was not clear on some home inspection date. And, you know, she mixed it. So gladly, I had the text conversation. But, you know, the leadership got involved. Why did you take your buyer without her permission?
Starting point is 00:03:12 I was like, according to the contract, you know, I was supposed to. So that kind of made an uncomfortable situation there. But other than that, nothing is coming in my mind. All right. Thank you for sharing that, Zee. Who else? What's the time that aging in your office made you uncomfortable? Not uncomfortable, but culturally, when I came, I'm not used to getting hugs from opposite sex.
Starting point is 00:03:33 And when I got here, it's normal for them to give a very professional side hug. And it was just new to me. Not uncomfortable. So maybe for somebody, a cultural difference can be, which I don't think so many people here will have, but I experienced that when I was new. Now, what would cause me to share these stories with you guys, particularly if you're in a place where you think, well, I never have to hire. Success leaves clues and so does failure.
Starting point is 00:04:00 So if you want to determine if somebody is going to be successful in any role that you're hiring for or any type of partnership that you may have or anybody that you may bring into your world, whether it be a boyfriend, girlfriend, best friend, whoever. You could figure out what the future will be by looking at their past. And that's almost 100%. And so the easiest way to be able to determine where will this person be in the future is what have they done in the past? Thanks so much for listening to the No Broke Months podcast today. Until the next show, I invite for you to be grateful, make good choices, help someone, have the best day of your life, and go find a listing!
