I've got a really big yard. That's a time constraint, right? So I asked myself,
what's the one thing I could do such that that becomes easier or unnecessary?
I have somebody who mows it for me because it would take me half a day at least.
That's the way that I master that activity.

Dan discusses how to identify tasks that can be delegated and ways to outsource, allowing you to focus on high-priority
activities effectively. In the latest No Broke Months for Real Estate Agents episode, you will
learn practical strategies for overcoming time constraints. I was struggling with time earlier
in the year. My daughter goes to school in Washington, D.C., and it's about a 45-minute to an hour commute from
where I live. Her bus picks her up in McLean, Virginia, which is about a 30 to 45-minute
commute from where I live, which caused me at the beginning of the school year
to be commuting one hour into dropping her off, finding a coffee house to hang out all day,
and then driving one hour to come back home or one hour
to drive in there, go on an appointment, come back or one hour in, one hour out, one hour in,
one hour out. And I found two young ladies who are reliable and I can depend on and I pay them
probably too much money to do that task, but I can definitely trust them
so that now I no longer have that activity. I've got a really big yard. That's a time
constraint, right? So I asked myself, what's the one thing I could do such that that becomes easier
or unnecessary? I have somebody who mows it for me because it would take
me half a day at least. That's the way that I master that activity. Now you may come up with,
well, yeah, but I don't have the money to hire somebody. I get it. So then how do I have the
money to do that? Because I've got consistent income. How do I have consistent income? Because for 16 years, coming on 17 years, every single day of the week, I've regenerated.
So now, when you really, really go backwards in the time, and when you really, really understand,
my obstacle is I have to spend between two and four hours of my day driving my daughter to school, or I have
to spend a half a day mowing my lawn. The answer to that equation is lead generation. So you lead
generate, now you have the money. Now you have the money, now you go find the people. But it's
always going to come back to lead generation. And if you think about
this in a linear matter, how do I get my daughter to school? Lead generate. But then what's next
after that? Convert the people to hire me. Then what's next after that? Set their expectations
of predictable problems. And then what's next after that? Communicate, communicate, communicate,
communicate. And then what's after that? Stay in relationship with them through time. And then what's after that? Identify
who could be reliable to bring my daughter to school. And then what's after that? Hire them.
And then what's after that? Lead them and manage them. And then what's after that?
Dan gets his time back. See how it's a linear when you can
look at it in those ways. Thanks so much for listening to the No Broke Months podcast today.
