So we have thoughts throughout the day.
Do you ever stop to think about those thoughts?
I'm sharing that as a very, very real life example
because I have a barometer to know
if those thoughts are good or not.

What do you mean?
What do you mean?
What do I mean?
Do you ever think about what you think about?
So we have thoughts throughout the day, right?
I mean, these thoughts are just our thoughts.
Do you ever stop to think about those thoughts?
All the time.
Yeah, all the time?
Okay.
What am I filling my brain with?
What's going into my mind?
Love it.
Yeah.
Am I filling my brain with something that's good for me that's bad is it
poison you know is this what i need to be focused on what should i be thinking about um so yeah all
the time all the time i think about what i should be thinking about okay so that's one level of it
i love that that's freaking awesome i i'm curious as you talk about maybe observing like another
level of it do you ever have a thought because you know those thoughts are oftentimes automated
and you have a thought and then actually look specifically i think you just answered this then
specifically look at that thought and then have like a conversation of like well what caused me
to have that thought do you guys ever do that i do i when i get like to such a point I start thinking backwards and yeah what yeah how did I
start thinking that led me to this point okay so you look for like the root of like here's a series
of thoughts yep where's the root yeah I mean, I mentioned to you guys that the mindset mastery today is something that's pretty ironic
because we had a horrific, horrific, horrific negligent mistake yesterday.
And we had another bad mistake last week.
Two mistakes in my company that were both client facing and one of which i got fired for
and the other of which i had a very very bad experience with uh with a client last evening
that i've not gotten fired for and i intend to not um but they're you know that's a challenge
for me and both of these which were not me specifically doing any activity whatsoever.
So I'm bad.
Like it was somebody on my behalf, either doing an activity or not doing an activity.
So I'm battling.
Right.
Like I'm battling all kinds of thoughts right now.
You know, I'm thinking like, okay, do I have the right person in place?
Do I have the right people in place?
What can I do to be able to cause that to never happen? How can I take ultimate responsibility?
If I take ultimate responsibility, then it's going to rest back into my leadership.
It's going to rest back into my selection of who I'm in business with. These are the thoughts that
are going through. How do I be able to communicate this in a manner that it never happened again?
Well, has it ever happened before? What did I do then? Did I
communicate at that point? Hey, this is never going to happen again. And if I did, and then
it happened again, then what do I do about that? These are the thoughts I'm being transparent with
you guys that are going through my head right now. Okay. Like that's not bad or wrong. That's
just a human being in a position having thoughts and observing to sit
there and say okay well if i and then the next thought well i know my thoughts lead to my
feelings so if my thoughts lead my feelings how can i reframe any of these thoughts that i'm having
right now that are not empowering me now i'm sharing that as a very very real life example
because i have a barometer to know if those thoughts are good or not. You guys know what that barometer is? Because I don't know intellectually what I
should be thinking. But I do know that my thoughts lead to my emotions. So that's the barometer.
So intellectually, I'm not 100% certain on what thoughts should I be thinking,
but I can pay attention to my feelings because that's measurable.
I mean, it's not measurable from you to me, but it's measurable for me to me.
