Dan explains that hitting your goal is all about having a clear, precise target. When you have a
well-defined aim, you're more likely to hit it. In the new No Broke Months for Salespeople episode,

I'm going to talk today about mindset.
So we do this every single Monday. Wednesday, Thursdays, we go through the CPI baby steps, which we go through the step-by-step
process that we use to teach the self-philosophy to be able to learn the content and then teach
it to somebody else. That's how you embrace this. That's how you embody this. That's how
you become this. And then on Fridays, we do scripture role play. All right. So for the archer to improve, he must improve his aim.
For me to improve, I must improve my aim.
What does that mean to you?
I'm not sure where I'm quoting that from.
I know I got it from the Millionaire Real Estate Agent book, but I think Gary Keller was quoting somebody else when he wrote it.
So for the archer to improve, he must improve his aim.
For me to improve, I must improve my aim.
What does that mean to you? I would say like defining your goal, you know,
exactly what you're, you're trying to accomplish.
Love it. Love it.
So the more clear that you have about where you want to go,
the more likely you're going to get there. So if the archer is looking,
you know, looking downfield and takes the,
takes the bow and pulls back the quiver
and lets go of it and just shoots in the general vicinity of the target,
what are the odds he or she is going to hit that target?
Is it high or low?
Just in the general vicinity.
Target's that way.
It's east.
I point east. I pull back. I release. Boom.
You think I'm going to hit the target? Probably not. I look at that same target, and I adjust,
and I improve my aim, pull back, release. Certainly, you can see that now I become more likely to be able to hit that target.
So what I'm asking for you to consider is to improve your aim. For you to consider,
if I want to go somewhere, the more specific, the more clear that I can see the outcome,
the more likely I'm going to hit that target.
