business owner, and professional thriving in a challenging market.

you can capture market share and establish a strong presence, leaving a vacuum of opportunity
for those willing to persevere. By recognizing this, you can position yourself as a leader in
your industry, capturing market share and establishing a strong presence even in turbulent

Has anybody here ever considered that your friends or your family or other people may think that what you do is easy money?
Has that ever entered anybody's awareness?
Right. And again, being careful with my words, because I don't want to say, well,
it's anything but easy money. Okay. But for many,
it's hard work for many.
It's your three days before closing and somebody loses their job and you were financially, um, you know, vulnerable to that situation.
Okay, so these are the things that can be reality.
So we all understand that.
Now, how can we then take that information and use it to make your job easier?
So I gave you the information.
Now I want to open it up for a discussion.
I'll lead us on this discussion.
So what I want you to consider is
change the way you look at things
and the things you look at change.
So instead of three sisters, it's chimney rock,
or instead of chimney rock, it's three sisters.
Instead of this sucks,
real estate sales is hard,
what else could we look at and have faith within ourselves that it's true?
I gave you an example.
I'm grateful that things are hard because the harder they get, the more opportunity
that I have. When I started my sales career in 2007,
my real estate sales career, the market was a challenge. And because it was a challenge,
I was able to make enough money in 18 months of sales to buy the brokers that I worked for.
My third year in business, I closed 109 transactions. What allowed for me to do that?
What allowed for me to do that was it was really, really, really hard to make sales in 2007, 2008,
and 2009. And when I recognized that it was really, really, really hard,
I expressed gratitude because I knew my competition would quit. And they did. And I
knew it would allow for me to have an opportunity. And it did. And that hard market created
an opportunity for myself that I don't think an easy market would have created.
