In this episode, Dan discusses that when choosing what you do, it is essential that you choose activities that would benefit you and make sure that you actually do it. Learn this in the latest No Broke Months for Salespeople's episode. I never go to the gym by myself, ever. I go every day, right? But I never go by myself. Because if I go by myself, you know what ends up happening? I end up in the hot tub, okay? I end up in the hot tub and then I'm like, ah, this is fun.
Starting point is 00:01:55 What I want everyone to consider is when you do it with a friend, when you do it with a body, a group, a team, it becomes easier, which is why every day, everybody that's on this call right now from 930 to noon, you're invited to join our lead generation room that LV shares every day. Now, that lead generation's room is actually active until 6 p.m., just so you know. So you could always come back as well. And there will be people there. Around noon, there becomes less people and that's appropriate. And then you go out and you're working with your clients. But if you got no clients, come on back.
Starting point is 00:02:36 And so that's the reason why we do the lead generation room is to be able to provide you with a community of other people that are doing the same thing. Now, for those of you in the lead generation room, I'm going to make certain that you understand the impact that you cause to others if you're not lead generating. Because we could use that lead generating room for one of two things. We can use it to go BS or we can use it to lead generate. The biggest challenge to start was to actually recognize the habit that was not productive. To me, it was just normal realizing which habits to break to make room for the ones
Starting point is 00:03:13 that are biggest struggle. We only have 24 hours a day. And so we're filling that 24 hours a day up with habits that are not serving us. Then there's no room for the habits that do serve us. So consider what's your worst habit. And if it's going to go smoke a cigarette, right? Like that's cool, but that's five minutes away from doing something, you know, that's going to serve you. Right. So just like sort of consider, I mean, obviously there's all the health consequences, you know, all that type of stuff, right? I'm a former smoker myself. I haven't smoked a cigarette 17 years. Okay. And probably more than that. Now I quit on April 7th, 2005. I quit drinking and smoking cigarettes the
Starting point is 00:03:51 same day. Right. So it's like taking a transition of a lifetime. It can happen. We can all do anything that we choose.
