So if you tell me, but I'm not Michael Jordan, I'm going to answer you be like, yeah, but
you are you and you have physical, you have mental, you have capabilities that are world
class.
Every one of you has capabilities that are world class.
Every one of you.
Will you take those world class capabilities and lean into them?
Will you take those world class capabilities and perform?
That's your choice.

Get ready to transform your approach and achieve unparalleled success.
Given the hard times, who will you be? Because professionals show up every single day. I use a few world-class people in a video there. I talked about Michael Jordan and Oprah Winfrey
and Richard Branson. But do you think that Michael Jordan is going to let a setback personally
get him away from achieving his goals?
He was literally puking and the flu in one of the most critical games of his
life, playing like an all-star, go into the sidelines and puke, go back out
and play like an all-star physically.
He was toast yet he chose to say, you know what despite the challenges despite what's bringing me back
I'm still going to perform because
Him being a champion was that vital to him and being a champion was that important to him now
You may say but I'm not Michael Jordan and you know what I would say to that
Yeah, you get to choose though because Michael Jordan wasn't Michael Jordan until he chose. You guys understand that? Now granted he had a physical ability and a vocation that I certainly don't have a physical
ability for. Yet he had a physical ability and a vocation and then he chose to take that physical
ability and to implement it into a way such that he became a world champion. The physical vocation,
the physical ability that he had wasn't enough for him to be who he was.
It was him having that physical opportunity and then performing and then
pushing through the tough times.
So if you tell me, but I'm not Michael Jordan, I'm going to answer you'd be like,
yeah, but you are you and you have physical, you have mental, you have
capabilities that are world-class.
Every one of you has capabilities that are world-class.
Every one of you. Will you take those world-class capabilities and lean into
them? Will you take those world-class capabilities and perform? That's your
choice. Granted Michael Jordan had physical abilities far better than most
other basketball players, but I guarantee you if it wasn't the mindset, if it
wasn't the commitment, he chose to commit.
It's your choice to commit or quit. Those are your choices that you have. In sales,
in life, I'm going to give you two choices, commit or quit. Because the third choice is
unacceptable to me. Do you know what the third choice is? In my book, Teach to Sell, I say
the third choice is get meager results. In real life, I say the third choice is get shitty results.
Okay?
That's the third choice.
So you get to get meager results or commit or quit.
Because meager results are not acceptable to me, there's only two choices I'm going
to give you.
So if right now, if you're having a struggle, if right now you're having a setback, if right
now you're having something happening in your personal life, something happening in your
physical wellbeing, something happening to somebody in your life.
Can you still love them?
Can you still love yourself?
And can you still commit?
In improv, I've studied a lot of improv.
I've done a lot of improv as well.
It's fun on a vocation.
They teach you a technique called yes and.
And so in improv, it's a basic concept of improvisation, which is when your partner
says something, you're a yes and. So your partner says to you something like, well, I'm surprised I woke
up to see that you're a giraffe with a pumpkin seed in your tooth. Yes. And I'm going to tell you,
this pumpkin seed, you like the gold tooth that I got. I just got capped. I'm going to say it's
amazing. And the way that you woke up and you're a zebra with a corn husk up its butt, that's pretty
amazing too. Right. And then I probably should stop husk up its butt, that's pretty amazing too, right?
And then I probably should stop at that point.
Anyways, that was my improv that came out.
I didn't plan for that.
I'm so sorry.
But I teach you yes and because the improvisation helps you in real life because sometimes we
are programmed to shut up, shut down possibility.
Sometimes we are programmed to think that it's a choice, a binary choice, a no-but rather
than a yes-and.
What I can tell you is whatever challenge that you're having in life, whatever setback
that you have and whether it's professionally, personally, physically, spiritually, mentally,
I want to honor whatever that challenge is.
I want to acknowledge it.
Yet, it's your choice because it's just a circumstance
of whether you let that circumstance hold you back or you acknowledge the circumstance
as an opportunity and you take massive action. You commit rather than quit. That's your choice.
Hey, hey, salesperson, are you struggling to close deals or struggling to gain trust

Real estate sales these last two and a half years.
For those of us that have been through it, I think pretty much everybody here but Melinda
has been in here for at least two and a half years.
Some of us many, many more.
And what those of us have been through the last two and a half years, we can tell you
that it's a hard market today.
Would you guys all agree to that?
Gary Keller, who's the founder and probably chairman of the board of Keller Williams Realty is hosting his family
reunion convention, or at least just did. And during one of his speeches, he
shared just two or three days ago to his audience, basically, look, the give me
business is gone. If you're not taking action, you're done. Right? Like that's
Gary Keller, who is a leader of 180,000 or so agents telling his 180,000
agents, listen, if you don't take action, you're toast.
You're done.
The market is not, give me business.
It don't longer exist.
Okay?
So you've got to understand that if a leader in the industry that's leading 180,000 people
says that, whether it's true or not, I'm going to make it valid.
Okay? I'm going to make it valid.
Okay. I'm going to make it valid because I trust that I don't always agree with him, but I
always say he's going to be valid.
His opinion is always going to be valid, whether it's true or not.
That's a whole nother conversation, but this is something that I totally align with.
You got to take action because if you're not going to take action and what does
that look like five days a week, one to three hours, regenerate boom.
That's it.
I just gave you your freaking prescription.
If you don't do five days a week, one to three hours,
you will be out of business.
So you're getting out of business right now.
I'm just tough love, just telling you the truth.
And if you are, then you sit there
and ask yourself the question,
am I doing one to three hours a day of lead generating?
I already know the answer to that, so do you.
But that's the question, are you doing the work?
Because if you're not, then you choose and quit and that's fine.
But just be real about it.
Because if you want to succeed, you're going to have to commit.
All right.
Enough of my tirade.
What are your thoughts?
What are your feelings?
What are your observations?
What's your feedback about what I just shared with you?
What you guys got?
And everything I'm saying is with love, just so you guys know.
I love the yes.
And rather than the no, but that negative connotation,
no, but limits our mindset.
I love that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I can't tell you how often I observed that in life and people it's probably,
I don't know, 50 50.
I think 50% of people are just programmed for no, but, and 50% of
people are programmed for yes.
And I don't know.
I don't have a study on that.
That's just an observation of mine.
What else you guys got? I'm sure there's a study on that. That's just an observation of mine. What else you guys got?
I'm sure there's a study on that. I'll research it
What are your thoughts? What are your feelings? What are your observations? What's your feedback?
No, dad, I like the part when you bring up Michael Jordan server a while back reading about him it was like
12,300 and some odd attempts to make a basket and he missed and he was asked
26 times to make the game-winning shot and he missed and he stated he goes 26 times to make the game winning shot and he missed
and he stated he was I failed over and over and over and over again in my life and that's why I
succeed. Ever since I heard him say that I thought that was amazing. Yeah I mean Michael Jordan he
had a physical ability that most did not have but what he had more than a physical ability is he
had a mental ability because if Michael Jordan had an average mind he probably wouldn't even been an NBA right it's failing and failing
and failing and failing and growing and growing and growing and growing and succeeding that's what it
takes who else what you guys got what are your observations about what i'm sharing comments
feedback questions thoughts feelings the message today is the message everywhere from all of the
coaches across the country.
The business is there if you want to go get it.
And if you don't want to go get it and you just want to pay your dues and not do anything, okay.
Yeah. You know what I was thinking about this this morning? Because is it harder for me?
Hell yeah. It's harder for all of us. But what I was thinking this morning was, you know what?
Because it's harder, I'll succeed more.
Because it's harder, what's going to happen is my competitors are not going to be willing
to do what it takes and they'll get out and then it will become easier.
So it's not harder forever.
It's only harder for a short period of time until it weeds out those that are not willing
to do it.
It's not going to get easier, Dan.
You're just going to have more opportunities.
You're still going to have to do the work.
Yeah, it won't get easier.
You're still going to have to do the work, but I do think it's going to be easier because there's going to be more opportunities. You're still gonna have to do the work. Yeah, it won't get easier. You're still gonna have to do the work, but I do think it's gonna get easier because there's gonna be
more opportunity. That's what I mean by being easier. You're still gonna have to do the work,
though. All right, ladies and gentlemen, thank you so much for your time today. We'll be here on
Monday, of course, so I hope to see you guys everyone on Monday. Until the next time,
