and achieve unparalleled success.
All those people's names that I gave you, I've studied.
I've read biographies on all of them. For those that are available, I've read books on've read biographies on all of them.
For those that are available, I've read books on all of them. I met many of them, all the ones that are available, right?
Walt Disney.
But I definitely have the opportunity to be able to study him.
And what would I want to study Walt Disney on?
Two main things.
One is client care, customer service.
things. One is client care, customer service. Two is create the creative process in marketing. And so if I'm thinking like, what would Walt Disney do if he ran this real estate sales
company? What would he do to be able to exceed his clients expectations? And what do you
guys think Walt Disney would do?
He talks pretty well from the grave.
That's the point.
All these people are in my board of directors.
On that note, one of the people that
are in my board of directors, he's also my marketing coach.
His name is Greg Luther.
And I need to keep him there because every morning when I say,
boy, lead generation isn't going the way I wanted it to this week.
What would Greg have me do?
And it's sometimes very eye opening.
Whenever he's doing one of his talks, he'll say, I don't want to hear that you don't have
any money.
I don't want to hear that you don't have any money. I don't want to hear that you don't have the time.
All it takes to be a success in this business
is a roll of stamps and some paper.
And he has some examples, but I have created my own
of sales letters to send out.
I love it.
I love it.
So having him on your board of directors, how's that helped you in business specifically?
Listening to him has increased and polished my confidence when talking to people, especially people I don't know.
I am kind of analytical and I want things perfect before I go into action and you can't do that. You have to be in action and then refine what you're doing.
Get them done, get them out of the way and get going.
So I think just by example, this man dropped out of school in the eighth
grade is a multimillionaire.
He owns about 150 race horses.
His hobby costs him over $100,000 a month, and he doesn't bat an eye about it because
he can.
And we can all be there if we want to work as hard as he worked.
I love it.
But I recommend that you consider Greg Luther for marketing for Terry, Ben Kinney for me for scaling and hiring leaders
specifically.
George, who would you possibly put on your board of directors or who do you have on your
board of directors if you've already done this exercise?
This is going to sound crazy to you guys, my wife.
Oh, I love that.
What would you rely on her for like a specific like niche
of advice?
When I said I don't have the money to do,
she goes, you know what, don't think about the money.
Just put the idea in there and believe it
and it's gonna be done.
And that's, she's been the backbone of everything
that I've done up till now.
It sounds to me that she is somebody who can help you make a decision when you may have
a doubt about the decision to make or doubt.
Exactly.
She still keep on going and has been taking care of the family.
So she's the number one person that I look at.
I'm beginning to understand that, okay, go to her more and get her ideas and do,
because she has so many ideas in her head.
And when she set on one to implement it,
no matter what it is, she's gonna fight to implement it.
I love that.
Who else besides your wife,
maybe in a different area of your life,
could be on your board of directors?
Maybe somebody who you don't know.
Who do you look up to?
Who inspires you?
Who do you think is a thought leader or creative leader
or a spiritual leader or a physical leader
or a leader in a different area of life?
So my spiritual leader is not here, he's in Africa,
but he always prays with me and say,
doc, do it, it's going to be working.
What's your name? His name is Frederick. Frederick. Okay. He pushed me in the direction. If I tell him this is what I want to do, he will push me and say, let's pray about it and let's do it.

Now, George, moving.
My biggest concern is about financially, because when I have an idea,
I'm not financially ready for it.
It limits me from doing what I have to do,
and that's the biggest thing.
I love it. Now, George, what I'm gonna ask for you to do. And that's the biggest thing. I love it.
Now, George, what I'm gonna ask for you to do
is you don't necessarily need to have a conversation
with Frederick for you to get his advice.
And maybe put another half a dozen or so people
on your board of directors and you have access to them
so you can get advice from Frederick and from your wife.
Yet you can also consider people who maybe are historic or maybe more famous or whatever the case may be to throw on there as well. All right, Melinda.
I would love to be able to hear from you as well. Who's on your board of directors.
Who is 1 person who could be on your board of directors to give you advice when you need it.
person who could be on your board of directors to give you advice when you need it.
I know it sounds corny but it has to be my Lord and Savior would be first and foremost. I'm a follower of Tony Robbins so I listen to a lot of his stuff. So when you need advice on maybe what
would you go to Jesus for advice for? Well I pray for guidance and okay yeah just pray for guidance and okay, yeah, just pray for guidance and hopefully that direction will come and make it make it sound. If this is my spirit sound, you know, I'll move forward. But if it doesn't settle with me, I just keep praying. So.
Okay. Yeah. So for guidance, you'll have that conversation with Jesus. Yeah. Yeah. And what would you go to Tony Robbins for?
So for Tony, you know, just mindset, stuff like that.
He's really good with helping me stay focused.
I did attend one of his courses years ago and I refer back to the
materials that he gave me.
So UPW.
So I go back to that a lot and I do priming when I can and implantations.
So that stuff takes a lot of time,
but when I refer back to it, it's a great tool.
I love it, Melinda.
All right, Melinda, thank you for sharing with us today.
What observations, ah-hahs, or thoughts do you have
about today's conversation, Melinda?
I was listening on and off, so I do apologize.
I'm at work.
Yes.
So I try to get here as much as I can, but I didn't hear a whole lot of it.
But I come here because I need that motivation to just get things done. And that's why I joined the group.
Okay. George, what are your ahas? Thoughts? All right. My ahas is that I already have within myself.
I already have the resources of anything that I need and a
reminder of that and there's times in my life that, you know,
I talk a lot about business, but personal life.
We all have that as well.
And there's times in my personal life that I struggle and I need
help and I need wisdom and I need guidance and I don't know
who to ask and I do know who to ask because I have them in my board of directors, right?
And so in all areas of your life, I'm going to hopefully inspire you to put some good
counsel into your brain, some good counsel into your existence so that when you need
the help, you've got somebody to ask.
And I promise you, the first time you do this and you say to your spiritual leader or to
your physical leader or to your marketing leader or to your relationship leader, you
say, Hey, what should I do here?
You'll be amazed at the response that you get and then do it.
I was a little bit lonely in the morning and I asked him about one of my leaders and said,
what should I do here?
And he says, text Bruce and ask him if he's going to church today and then go to church. Right?
And if I didn't ask that of one of my board directors, I wouldn't have done that.
And being in church was a lot better than being on my couch sitting at home alone.
There's that.
All right, guys, listen, I want to encourage for you to have the best day of your life.
Be grateful. Make a choice to go help somebody.
And seek counsel from a vetted source of
guiders that you select and spend some time today to consider who am I
going to put in that board of directors and then do some research on them.
Read a book about them or buy them.
Listen to a podcast, audio book, whatever the case may be.
God bless you guys.
I'll see you.
