looking at things from a

I was really struggling with somebody that I invited in last week to interview with the team and a new agent.
Right. And I invited her to come in and be a part of these trainings.
And she didn't show up and she ended up joining a brokerage.
And quite literally, it sort of pinged me just to be I'm just being authentic and candid.
Right. And it didn't ping me because she chose the brokerage.
It would ping me because, because I have a belief and a faith that that brokerage won't
help her in a way that, that, that our community can help her, right?
Like, like that's what sort of pinged me.
But then I was thinking this morning, yeah, you know what?
But if somebody isn't going to at least show up just to see what it is that, you know, that they have an opportunity, then they're probably not the right fit for me.
So I can be OK with that. I can care for her.
And I really do. It had nothing to do with me. Understand the dynamics of that.
It pained me because I'm like, damn, how could she do that without even seeing how we could help her?
Right. Like that's that's just, that just
sucks. She's not going to get the support that she needs. I know that because I know the brokers
that she joined very, very well. I know what they're going to do for her, which is nothing.
And she's going to struggle. Right. And it's like, damn it. But then the second thought is, well,
maybe that's not the right fit. I want to talk to you guys about setting the rules and setting the goals to teach them how to think so that they can reach, you know, so that they can
redefine their goals. Okay. Because they may, they may be in a position where they don't believe in
themselves. They may be in a position where they don't know what's possible. I know that there's
people here within this call right now that I know that there's just a small little tweak of change one thing and your life transforms. Okay. So my job as a leader, I see it. Maybe the other
person doesn't see it. And it's not the fact of the opportunity. It's not the fact of the skill.
It's just the fact of the belief. Okay. And then when you can see in the blind spots of others,
and you can hopefully pull that out. Okay. now what's the access to pulling something out of somebody's blind spot?
How do you do that? It's the hardest thing that I found in leadership.
You see something here and somebody that you're leading and you want to bring them to an awareness and guide them to hear.
How do you do that? By helping them understand why.
OK, so that's why we harp into the why so much, because when we go into the why, like, why are you doing this?
I'm pinging you over here.
Okay.
Because sometimes people don't understand or connect the dots in between where they're at
and where they could be simply because they don't connect the dots of why
that would make a difference in their lives.
So even more powerful than showing them the path of,
hey, if you take this step, this step, this step,
this step, this step, even more powerful than that,
showing them why when they take those steps,
it will allow for them to achieve whatever it is
that they would be worthy in their lives.
