We reveal the new way to persuade human behavior by mastering the art of the teach to sell method Get ready to transform your approach and achieve unparalleled success People to support you that's where I am right now by the way and 50% of your time looking for looking for business
Starting point is 00:01:01 That's a good business. That's a really good business. As you get into leadership, then you're going to be relying on the people that you have for you for them to go get the business. But you're never going to get rid of your responsibility for getting business at any given time. So if you look at this, it's going to go like this, 90, 10, 50, 50, 10, 90. So you're looking at that on the side. I'm sorry for the scrap notes here, right? But over here on the side, 90% looking for business,
Starting point is 00:01:33 10% looking for talent, 50% looking for business, 50% looking for talent, 90% looking for talent, 10% looking for business. Does that make sense, everybody? That's the development of the business, which that then leads us into the video that Kane's going to play. Go ahead, Kane. All right.
Starting point is 00:01:50 This is the real Dan that that was an imposter. I didn't think I was going to be able to make it this morning. Les, why don't you go ahead and play the video and then I'll take over from there. Do you need a minute or so? Somebody tell me something good. I didn't get a chance to hear good stuff from you guys. Somebody tell me Joseph nice to meet you face. Hello Terry. Hello Rachel Arnett. Emmanuel Leslie. Luzar. Joshua. Kane. Roslyn. Ali. Hey my man Ali. Muhammad Ali is here. Joyce Raymark.
Starting point is 00:02:21 Somebody tell me something good. It's official. I have a team. Congratulations. Congratulations. All right. Somebody else. Tell me something good. Tell me something good. Can I tell you guys something good. Yes please. I sort of show my. That's my view right now. What do you guys think. Can you see it. There, that's my view right now. What do you guys think? Can you see it? Where are you, Dan?
Starting point is 00:02:47 Where are you? I'm in Burlington, Vermont. It's too early to go skiing. It is too early. You need to come to Florida. I thought you got a video for us. Go ahead, Ross. Come to Florida. Come to Florida, buddy.
Starting point is 00:03:01 I would love to go to Florida and I'm absolutely enjoying my circumstance today. Okay cool. But I would I'd be happy to go to Florida. Performers are not just attracted to value. They stay where their needs are consistently met. So here's a challenge. What happens when the road gets bumpy? How do you keep your team engaged and thriving during these times? I want you to consider people leave a company for two main reasons. So they're either not getting the compensation or the benefits that they expect or they don't feel connected to the culture of the company, to the way
Starting point is 00:03:41 that the company treats them, to how people treat each other. And at the highest level, success isn't just about winning. It's about preparation and courage and empathy and leading with heart. And when you nurture your team, you don't just survive, you succeed together. So I want you to consider to always aim to bring out the best in others. And when frustration arises, stay calm. Choose peace. Speak to their potential. Focus on the outcome, not on being right. Because success isn't just about willpower. It's about the people you grow with and the trust that you build together. Here's the truth. Sales can be tough. Sales can be lonely. Inconsistent deals suck. Inconsistent deals lead to anxiety.
Starting point is 00:04:35 And worrying about how you're going to pay your bills is a stress that no one should have to face. But the good news is you have the power to turn things around. And that's where Teach to Sell comes in. It's not just about selling, it's about building trust. By teaching, you inspire confidence and confidence leads to sales. Teach your team how to believe in themselves, how to get the best out of their lives, how to be better people, better salespeople, better husbands, betters wife, better whoever. And when you're able to do that, you're going to have a team of top performers that are going to be attracted to the value that you provide. All right.
Starting point is 00:05:20 So we're talking about Teach to Sell today. And before we talk about Teach to Sell, there's something that I said that I think is valid and something that as sales professionals that we've probably of all experience, I know I have at least experienced the fear, which is inconsistent sales suck. What do you guys think about inconsistent sales?
Starting point is 00:05:43 Is that something that anybody has ever had the experience of? Right now I am. Yes. Yeah. Was that Roslyn? I said right now I am in that situation. It's really tough. Let's talk about that.
Starting point is 00:05:59 Let's talk about that. I got you. I got you. I don't want to point anybody out here, right? Like, who may be experiencing consistent deals right now. Right? So I may can be as transparent as you want, but I'd like to be able to to just talk about, like, the wear and tear of inconsistent sales. Can we have that conversation? You guys okay with that? Yes, please. You guys good? So inconsistent sales, it really just destroys us. There's a demon that I talk about in the book, Teach to Sell, and that demon, the antagonist, is not worthy. to visit www.teachtoselfbook.com, that's teachtoselfbook.com. And Clay Boatis says you're never gonna see again. Your future followers are waiting because people don't wanna be sold. They wanna be led.
Starting point is 00:07:13 And it's your time. And that's something that we all resides within all of us at some point, some more than others, some less than others. And it's really rooted in something that happened to you when you were five years old. And so for me, I call that whenever that rears its ugly head for myself, I call that Danny. Okay, because that's Danny, because that's who I was called when I was five years old. And so when we take a look, and we understand about those inconsistent deals of ultimately what's that going to do for us? It's going to make us feel anxious. It may be a financial concern that you might have that financial concern would be something that would be really just wearing on you. It could also make you just feel like just not worthy.
Starting point is 00:08:04 Okay, it can make you feel like I'm not good enough. Okay, and understanding that comes back to the teach yourself philosophies of just understanding like our experience as sales professionals, and more importantly, our experience as human beings is such that when we can feel good about ourselves, we can then set ourselves up for success by doing the right activity.
Starting point is 00:08:33 And when we do the right activity, we'll have the results. So, when we look at those inconsistent sales that I talked about in the teacher suburb there, it starts with doing the activity. It starts with you being a guide for others and then consistently doing that five days a week. Before I said it starts but actually before then it starts with us believing in ourselves and then it's about lead generation and I went through that in the first video where the first instructor Dan had the four levels of belief, lead generation, levels of belief, regeneration, organization building, and leadership. Let's sort of tie the gap here, tie this all together. So I said that anxiety that you reasoned that not worthy, not good enough, that rests within the five-year-old version of yourself.
Starting point is 00:09:22 If you understand what inconsistent deals give you, then how do you get from here to there? So what do you give me some feedback if you could please? How do you get from here to there? And what let's start with this. What does inconsistent deals do for you? Nobody wants to think about that. Makes me depressed. Depressed? What else? We have a real conversation. I lost my trust in myself. I just like from somebody closing two to three, two and a half million a year, I haven't sold anything last six months. And I really don't know. I can't. I don't know why. That's all I could say. I don't know. It's a
Starting point is 00:10:04 market or Roslyn. I don't know why. That's all I could say. I don't know if it's a market or it's Roslyn. I don't know. I had an open house last Saturday. It was very good. I had two really good walkings. But anyway, one of the agents came and joined me. She says, I am depressed. What am I doing wrong?
Starting point is 00:10:18 I was trying to say everything's gonna work out, being a nice person, but deep inside, I was in the same situation that she was. So there we are. So it could be situational. That's okay, here we are. And that's why we're here, right? But we're also here to have an honor conversation
Starting point is 00:10:35 and we're going to be able to develop this so that we can be able to move from where we are to where we wanna be. Yes, sir. Does that make sense? Yes. You're welcome, sir. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. That's the upbringing is not my fault. Okay, I'm all blame you. What else does inconsistent deals do for us? If you've ever had it in the past? Besides Roslyn, who else would like to share? Who's ever had a broke month? would like to share? Who's ever had a broke month? I can stall your forward progress and the fact that you have a marketing plan all laid out and you don't have the income coming in so you can't go forward with your marketing that you
Starting point is 00:11:18 know will work. But if you can't pay for it, there you are. You have to find, you have to pay for it, there you are. You have to find, you have to pivot and shift and find other ways that maybe are less successful for marketing. Yeah. We're going to talk more about that here in a second. I think that was Adrian that I saw. Was that Adrian that joined us? If it is, good morning. Yep. So the unfortunate challenge with real estate sales specifically is that it takes at least. I'm in Burlington Vermont right now. I would feel confident that if I moved here today that within 90 to 120 days from now Max I'd have a closing if I got my Vermont license. got my Vermont license. Okay. But I'm also confident that I'd have zero before 90 days. All right. And so that's the challenge that we have in real estate sales. The activity that you do today shows up at least 90 days from now. The challenge that we have as real estate professionals is that we celebrate the wrong things in my strong opinion and in my experience. What we celebrate is we celebrate the closing last week. I made a lot of money.
Starting point is 00:12:32 I didn't necessarily celebrate that win. I had a listing appointment last week. I didn't yet get hired, but I celebrated that win. You guys see the difference between the two? Everybody, thank you so much for joining us today. but I celebrated that win. You guys see the difference between the two?
