to be released within about a week.

The key to building a great team is knowing what truly matters to you.
And when your hires align with these priorities, they're going to thrive.
And so is your business.
Success is not just about the what.
It's about the who, it's about the who.
Because the gap between where you are
and where you wanna be,
it lies within finding the right people.
When you focus on building relationships with the right who,
your potential becomes unlimited.
This is why I tell my daughter, she's only 14 right now.
She's way, you know, long ways away
from getting married, hopefully.
And what I share with her right now is that, sweetie sweetie the most important decision you're ever gonna make in your life
You're probably one of the top three and maybe if the top one is who you're gonna marry
because when you find the right relationships, whether it's that
Significant or it's significant within your business your potential it becomes exponential when you find the wrong partner or the wrong people in business, it sucks.
But how do you hire the right people?
Those who will not only fit, but own the outcome.
The answer lies in having a purposeful process that predicts success.
Using a hiring system is going to allow for you to be intentional about developing strong productive relationships. When you hire I
want you to prioritize two things. Set clear expectation, ensure total
commitment. Because success is a shared responsibility. Your employees drive, your
partners drive, combined with the resources, the training,
and the support that you provide, shapes their growth.
And what you're looking for is unmistakable dedication.
100% effort from their side.
Here's a mindset shift.
Look for the fire in their eyes.
Hire those with a burning desire to commit wholeheartedly.
Not what they tell you, what they demonstrate to you.
And if the fit is not right, encourage them to make the right choice to
commit or quit if you did end up hiring the wrong person.
Because this ensures that you're building a team that's fully aligned with
your goals. In the next section, I'm going to share with you the exact steps
for you to be able to
find and hire the right people for your team.

I want to talk to you about where we are in the course right now.

That's gotta be some sort of,
I have to be the first person to have to say that.

That's not wrong with being frank.
All right, so that would be your basement.
Better be frank than screwed.
No, that's your basement.
That's your foundation.
Okay? So your foundation is your belief.
If you struggle with belief, there's one piece, because I used to teach, you got to believe in yourself and then that would be it.
And then I realized there's no meat in that.
Okay? So I'm going to give you something very specific that you can believe in yourself about.
Particularly with the technology, artificial intelligence,
we have the ability right now
to figure out any problem whatsoever, any problem.
So as long as you have the belief that you can figure it out, that's all you

Gaining clarity and that goes back into your goals, your vision, your beliefs, your perspective, etc.
So once you believe in yourself,
then the next part of building your business,
this will be your first floor, is lead generation.
There's three ways to lead generate in theory,
or in generality rather.
Lead, you can lead generate through prospecting,
through marketing, and through networking.
Those are the three ways that you can find business. through prospecting, through marketing, and through networking.

I had a personal trainer once upon a time ask me, Dan, I think I perceive that you have
success in real estate.
I think you're one of the top in the industry.
What's caused you to do that?
And I just, I was literally putting down some weights.
I put them down, I put them to the side.
I looked at her. I said, Ashley, I got a secret.
She's like, what?
I go to work every day.
She's like, no, I can't be that.
What's the difference between you and the other agents?
Ashley, I got a secret.
I go to work every day.
Okay?
Now, what does it mean to go to work?
I'll tell you that here in a few minutes.
I'll tell you what your job description is.
Okay. But I want to stay on this track of building this building.
I'll go back to what your job description is here in a few minutes.
So to regenerate,
you can prospect, prospect and cost you time.
If you have no money,
if you don't have a sustained business, guess what?
You're going to have to put time into it.
So that means knocking on doors.
That means doing community appreciation events.
That means cold calling.
That means doing open houses, prospecting for sale by owners,
expired listings, et cetera.
When you, but the problem with prospecting is as a limited resource, the limited resource that it has is what's the limited resource of prospecting anybody I already gave you the answer.
I'm time it is so.
Me, I'm out of time in my business, so I continue to prospect yet.
I've added on there a different, a second component,
which is marketing. So marketing, your asset that the marketing costs is money. If you have no money,
guess what? You're left with time. If you begin to build a business and you run out of time,
then your only way to continue to grow the business is to then begin to marketing, to market rather.
So prospecting costs you time, marketing costs you money.
To be able to lead generate your prospect market or network, network costs you more
time than money, but a little bit of money.
Then let's go back here to where we are today.
We're talking about building an organization.
All right.
That's where we are today. So for some, when I organization. All right, that's where we are today.
So for some, when I come in here,
I talk to you about hiring,
you're like, that doesn't mean anything to me.
I'm not hiring right now.
My response to you is gonna be,
is your vision big enough?
Right, do you see the opportunity in front of you?
Because if you don't believe that you need help,
then guess what you're gonna be limited by? Guess what? I already gave then guess what you're going to be limited by?
Guess what? I already gave you the answer.
You're gonna be limited by time.
The thing that people get scared about
is investing the asset of money to be able to hire somebody versus time.
You guys got me on that? They're like, I don't want to invest money. I'm afraid to waste my money. Guess what guys? You know what I'm afraid of?
I'm afraid to waste my time.
You guys hear me?
Yeah.
Time is money.
It can be. It depends on how you invest the time.
Okay, but I'm going to tell you my most, I'm going to tell you my precious assets in order.
My sobriety. My relationship with God. But I'm going to tell you my most my I'm going to tell you my precious assets in order
my sobriety
my relationship with God
My health for you my time my money
Money's my fifth precious asset
You guys got that? Yes
variety for me God for many of us that own, whatever, however you relate to that.
But taking out those two, which are unique to me, not necessarily unique to me, but those are
precious to me, health, relationship, time, money. All right, so now we're building an organization.
The last piece, and by the way,
you look over here on this side,
if you want to make more money,
you got to be able to lead generate.
You want to make more money,
you got to be able to get support around you.
That's what we're building on today.
You want to get infinite amount of money,
but I actually, I use the dollar signs
because it's easy to be able to relate.
There is no infinite amount of money, by the way.
But if you want to get an impact that exists beyond what you're even aware of,
that comes in your leadership.
And we'll get to that here in a few weeks.
