Starting point is 00:01:11 dan explains that every seller faces worries but you can turn these challenges into victories with the right mindset and strategies implement these insights in your approach in the latest No Broke Months for Real Estate Agents episode. I want you to grab a pen and paper, and I want you to answer these questions. What have you done to get hired by a seller or a buyer? What are the chief worries that a seller has? How can you address these concerns when taking a listing? So what have you done before? Their concerns, and how can you address those concerns? All right. So let's have a conversation around that topic. So first of all, what concerns will a seller have? Commission. Commission. Okay. How fast they can sell the house. Okay. Those are high level things. We make enough money. Money. What are the real concerns?
Starting point is 00:02:05 Like, what are they experiencing? Yes, money and commission and getting it done fast and convenient is important. But what's going on in their lives? Most likely, what are some options of what may be going on in their lives? Change, stress, anxiety. Pain, stress and anxiety. What type of change, stress or anxiety? Well, change in maybe lifestyle. Maybe they are getting a divorce, so it could be a good or bad thing.
Starting point is 00:02:32 Maybe they are downsizing and they're leaving the home that they raised their family in. So it's anxiety that of the unknown of where their next chapter in life is going to be. Stress because, you know, they maybe money's tight. All of that. All right. So now that's now if we look at the money, like I want money and I want convenience. OK, so once you understand the level of this and like so concerned about the transition, like Aaron said, worried about a kid's school, apprehensive about a new job,
Starting point is 00:03:04 stressed about a relationship, maybe have an emotional attachment to the property that they're selling. Maybe they're having a kid. Maybe their kid just went to college. But the reality of it is, is whatever's going on in their world most likely is going to be a separate thing that's going to be causing them anxiety, that's going to be causing them stress, maybe fear, maybe excitement. But whatever that other thing's going on is going to be something that's going to be extreme. Now you got this extreme thing going on,
Starting point is 00:03:38 and then you're going to sell a house. And then they're going to meet a stranger, or maybe not a stranger, but somebody they may not know very, very well to take care of that part of their life. So these are some of the things that they're going to be experiencing. So if they're going to be experiencing these types of things, then what could we do to accommodate these types of things before we meet with them?
