My initial thing was, am I good enough to be able to figure out how to be able to close every single sale, right?
But I know that that's silly and I've got the tools that I'm teaching you to be able to say, okay, I don't need a focus on this all or nothing thinking.
If I just get 80% right, then I'm good.
And I know that 20% of the time I'm not going to get hired or I'm not going to click with the client or whatever the case may be.
You're listening to No Broke Months for Salespeople podcast.
Sean reveals the hidden mindset mistake that quietly derails sales success.
He breaks down how self-doubt forms, how it influences your actions without you realizing
it, and how shifting your focus from fear to faith creates confidence, clarity, and results.
Through real stories and simple, powerful frameworks, Dan shows you how to strengthen your belief
system and build a winning mindset that supports predictable sales.
There's three things that we're going to do, and then there's going to be one outcome.
What we're going to do is we're going to build ourselves up to having a rock-solid mindset.
We're going to be doing weekly affirmation and accountability system that's going to drive results.
And so at the end of February, we want you to be able to be positioned so that you have a mindset that's going to serve you,
so that you are doing affirmations regularly in a consistent way, and that you have an accountability system that's going to be able to drive results for.
you. And that's what this month of February is what we're going to do. So we're going to be able to
master the psychology of a sales system to be able to learn how your beliefs shape your outcomes,
whether you realize it or not. We're going to eliminate fear and hesitation using the fear or faith
model to be able to replace any self-doubt or to be able to replace that self-doubt with
unshakable confidence because it's all a choice. And we're going to build unstoppable resilience
this month. So to be able to commit to a proven techniques that top producers use to be able to stay on
top of the market and stay on top no matter what. And that's the outcomes that we're going to be
able to do in the month of February. You're going to be getting the live training on Mondays and
Fridays. You're also going to be getting the on-demand training. And Leslie, we'll tell you more
about that here in a few minutes. Leslie, can you share your screen and play the first course?
But before we do that, any questions about what I just shared with you? Do you feel aligned with the way
that I'm strange in things just a little bit here? I talk to you guys about this through December and
early January. You guys all feel good? All right. Let's go ahead and play your screen, please.
I remember not too long ago, this was probably, I don't know, four or five years ago. I was
invited to a special elite event of top producers, top salespeople. There's only around 20 of us in my field
in an event in Seattle, Washington. And so I get on a fly, I fly out of Dollis Airport and landed
in Seattle, Tacoma, Washington Airport. I think that's right. And so either way, so I land in the airport,
I go to the convention. And night one, we go out of dinner, it's fine. Day number one. This is
the first day of the four-day event. I remember sitting in the room and if you could imagine,
if you were with me, you'd be sitting on these tables of five, there's four tables of five,
and then there was one presenter in the front and then he had a co-presenter. So we're sitting in this
event and I remember all of the other participants sharing about their successes. I remember
them sharing about how great they were doing. And I remember feeling about that freaking small.
In fact, I remember feeling I'm not good enough. And in fact, it caused me to have an anxiety attack.
Instead of staying all four days, I remember that afternoon, it wasn't even lunch.
I sent a message to my assistant, I can get out of here.
I got to get home.
Because I remember, I was feeling like this anxiety.
I was feeling this beads of sweat on my head.
And it's just this entire umbrella of this heavy weight coming over my body where I felt
I wasn't good enough.
It took me a while fast step before I recognized that, you know what?
That's just bullshit.
You're in this room of 20 of the top people in the world and you're comparing yourself
to the best.
Like, that is ridiculous.
So I don't know if you're like me, but if you've ever compared yourself to someone,
somebody, you fall into the trap of the number one sales mistake of not good enough.
And maybe it's not that you're not good enough as a human being.
Maybe it's something that's stopping your business like my website's not good enough,
or my business card's not good enough, or my sales presentation is not good enough.
Whatever it may be, some version of not good enough is what's likely going to stop you from
your success, from your death and success.
In this class, you're going to learn how to be good enough.
You're going to learn you don't have to be good enough to be able to take action.
You don't have to be good enough to be able to go find business, to go prospect, to lead
generate.
You just have to have a faith in yourself, a belief in yourself that you can figure it out.
You're going to learn more throughout this curriculum about how you can have that faith in yourself,
how you can have that belief in yourself.
Because what I want you to understand is that you do not have to fall prey to that number
one sales mistake of not good enough.
Because not only are you good enough, not only was that Dan that was sitting in that boardroom
Seattle, Washington several years ago, good enough.
So is your processes.
You're ready to make sales no matter where you are in your business.
We may be at different levels.
Maybe you're just starting.
Maybe your season.
Maybe you're a top producer.
But wherever you are, it's just perfect for the next step.
And as you go through these lessons today and over the next few days, you're going to learn
each step along the way that you're going to have faith in yourself and you're going to
have belief in yourself.
You are good enough.
Thank you, Les.
Can you go back and share that, please?
Thank you.

At 930, Les is going to go ahead and share with you how you can access this online training portal
so that you can do this work each day this week on your own.
And then on Friday, we'll resume with the script and roll play.
but we'll also add on the course of what we're doing.
And so every single month this year,
we're going to build upon successes to be able to build to say,
first step here is to believe in yourself, right?
Before we can even talk to you about the tactics of how to build your digital marketing,
we've got to make certain that you do believe in yourself.
And we've got to make certain that you're not falling prey to, you know,
as I mentioned, they're not good enough.
And that is the number one sales mistake that I've seen.
And so you may think that, as I mentioned in the video,
that your sales process is not good enough or that your website's not good enough or worst of all that you're not
good enough and it's really easy to think negatively especially when you're juggling multiple tasks
has anybody here ever thought negatively about life or about circumstance yeah it's freaking easy to do
and it's also the number one sales mistake you may believe that a potential client's not going to
buy because you know your service could be better or because maybe you doubt your capabilities or
That may be relevant for some, but not for all.
And really, the self-doubt can manifest itself in a lot of different ways.
You can lack the confidence that's going to prevent you from even starting the sales process.
You know, lack the confidence to be able to start reaching out to potential clients.
Or maybe you don't have a clear roadmap.
You know, you may feel like you're wandering through a maze unsure of every step.
And that's what we're going to build this year is get that clarity.
You know, and if you have that uncertainty, it can really make you feel inadequate or can make you feel stuck.
Or multitasking or like, in.
real estate sales is it true that there's a million and one things to do in real estate sales would you
agree to that right so how the hell if there's a million and one things to do and there's only five that
produce you money and there's only 11 that are vital but there's still a million and one right so taking on too
many tasks at once it can just feel overwhelming and you may feel like you're not good enough to
handle everything leading to a lack of focus and productivity or maybe you just have negative assumptions
you know prejudice a prospect's interest thinking that they're never going to buy because you're not good
enough to be able to guide them through the process. Or maybe you think it all or nothing.
You know, the pressure to close every single deal. I had a potential client yesterday this morning.
He sent me a text says, don't call me. Right. Well, my initial thing was, am I good enough to be
able to figure out how to be able to close every single sale? Right. But I know that that's silly.
And I've got the tools that I'm teaching you to be able to say, okay, I don't need to focus on this
all or nothing thinking. If I just get 80% right, then I'm good. And I know that 20% of the time,
I'm not going to get hired or I'm not going to click with the client or whatever the case may be.
But the other not good enough thing that I see most often is procrastination.
Delaying important activities like prospecting or follow up, these are the things that cause you to have success.
So you might procrastinate because you feel like you're not good enough to get the desired results.
And maybe that's within your subconscious, deep, deep rooted within you, something that happened when you were seven years old that made you define the rest of your life.
Or maybe you feel like you don't have the right guidance, which is why you're going to be.
here within the CPI community. You know, you can feel that you're not good enough if you don't
know how, you don't have the guidance, or maybe you feel like you've got a limited support network.
You know, feeling isolated can really make things really challenging. Or maybe you're just prone
to give up easily. Persistence is the most critical thing that you can do in any sales process in life.
Giving up too soon because you're feeling that you're not good enough to achieve the success that you
desire, that right there is going to crush your dreams. So recognizing these obstacles is really
the first step to overcome them. So that's a lot.
That's why we start today with the number one sales mistake.
Because the belief that you're not good enough, it's just a mindset.
That's all it is.
And you can change it.
You could change that mindset.
You can be good enough.
You can create your future.
You can create your now.
And you can determine that you are good enough.
And when those silly beliefs show up, you can determine to say, I'm going to just let those go to the side.
