Starting point is 00:01:41 I'm going to ask you a series of questions. If my business could talk, what would it say? Call more people. All right. Call more people. And you may want to get specific because more would be one more. If my business could talk, what would it say, Kathy? I need to meet more people.
Starting point is 00:02:00 Need to meet more people. How many more people? 10 a week. Diana, if my business could talk, what would it say? Post an updated pipeline list right by my desk. Dorothy, if my business could talk, what would it say? Too much chaos in the paper all around. And I spent the whole weekend cleaning through it and getting ready for my listing class today.
Starting point is 00:02:27 And I am ready to win. I love that. I can feel the power. I feel the power. Which hat has been my comfort zone? If I had hats in my business, a hat of lead generation, a hat of posting to social media, a hat of being the business owner, a hat of being the entrepreneur, a hat of being the business owner, a hat of being the entrepreneur, a hat of being a social media expert, the hat of whatever it may be, which hat has been my comfort zone?
Starting point is 00:02:55 I got one. I really like meeting new people. I really love meeting new people. Yep. Which hat has been my comfort zone? Kathy. Talking to people. Talking to people has been my comfort zone.
Starting point is 00:03:11 This is where you're comfortable in, right? We all good with that? Yes. Jade, which hat has been my comfort zone? Socializing. Socializing. Which hat am I not wearing often enough dorothy dial dial dial dial dial dial which hat am i not wearing often enough kathy same dial dial dial jade which hat is not getting
Starting point is 00:03:40 worn often enough prospecting prospecting you ladies are like twinsies, triplets. Diana. Which hat is not getting worn often enough? Which hat? In-person networking. In-person networking. Getting out and talking to people. Important.
Starting point is 00:04:00 For that matter, which hats do I not even own? And how do I acquire them? I don't know. If you did know, what would the answer be? Setting appointments. How would you set an appointment? Talking to more people. Sort of like what we did before.
Starting point is 00:04:18 How would you acquire that? Getting off my butt and doing it. And how would you acquire that? That would require stepping over fear and hesitation. What are you afraid of? Rejection. I'm rejecting you. You okay with that?
Starting point is 00:04:33 Not really. Jade, you have purple hair and it's ugly. That sounds like you have the problem. Yeah. It sure does. It sure does sound like I'm the one with the problem, right? Yeah. I was teasing with love when I said that to you, by the way. You know that, right?
Starting point is 00:04:48 Of course. Of course. What hat do you not even own, Diana? I can't think of one that I don't own. What is something that gets in your way of achieving what it is that you want? Time. This is true. Really mastering those dialogues. So knowing what to say in time. So if time is a constant and some people who are in the same circumstances as you are, are able to master the time and some people are not, what do the people
Starting point is 00:05:22 who master the time do versus the people who don't? Because time is a constant for all of us. So those that don't let time be a barrier, what do they do? Prioritize. Prioritize. Time block. May I suggest something? And you're right, Kathy.
Starting point is 00:05:40 May I make a suggestion? What they do is they ask the questions, what is the most important thing I should be doing right now? And they recognize that they'll never get everything done. Said another way, they ask the question, what's the one thing I could be doing right now, such that everything else becomes either easier or unnecessary. That question is the question for you to master time. What action can I do right now that would cause it so that everything else becomes either easier or unnecessary? And that question comes from Gary Keller and Jay Papasan's book, The One Thing. It's a question that you could perhaps master. You may want to
Starting point is 00:06:26 write that question down because that is the access to time. Thanks so much for listening to the No Broke Months podcast today. Until the next show, I invite for you to be grateful, make good choices, help someone, have the best day of your life, and go find a listing.
