What do you need to consider when hiring virtual assistants? The reality of it, there's five things in business that make you money.
Starting point is 00:01:35 And there's a million and one things that distract us, you know, like phones ringing when you're presenting, that type of thing, because you forgot to turn off your buzzer. So there's a million and one things that you can do in real estate sales, yet only five of them make you money. So how do you get the other $999, whatever, complete? You got to do so through getting the right help. You got to do so through using the right systems. You got to do so through treating yourself like a business owner i recommend to take 10 of every single paycheck that you get and putting it aside for the purposes of hiring a virtual assistant saving three months of income that you would pay that virtual assistant so let's say whatever that number is going to be, multiply it by three, and that's how much you're going to need in your bank account.
Starting point is 00:02:28 Because you're not risking any more than three months of a salary. All right, so now let's say, let's call it $800 a month for full time. That's $1,600, that's $2,400 that you would have to save before you have made your first hire. For most of you, that's probably two transactions. And then the risk that you're taking is the $2,400 because if they're not the right person, you're going to get out of business with them within 90 days.
Starting point is 00:03:02 Now, if they're not the right person with me, I want to get out of business with them in seven days now if they're not the right person with me i want to get out of business with them in seven days or less okay like so i'm not really risking 90 days i'm really risking seven days because you're going to know almost immediately and how do you know if they're the right person or not the qualifications that i that i require for somebody who's going to uh who's going to work with us is that they either have the ability to know what it is that their job is and perform at a through process of a million and one things that I don't want to do anything of. And then they rely on me to be the expert in that million one things. You know what? You want me to teach you how to lead, generate, convert leads, go on appointment, get hired, negotiate or script and role play. I can teach you that as a one percent of one percent of one percent of the top agent in the world you want to teach me how to write a cma or i mean i could do
Starting point is 00:04:10 all that stuff right but you want to you want me to teach you how to uh do logistics and paperwork and all that type of stuff ain't happening because it's not what i should be focusing my energy on so the assistant is the one that's supposed to be the expert in that, not you.
