Great leaders don't just attract talent, they retain it.
Talent people stay where they feel valued,
challenged and supported.
To keep your team engaged,
maintain alignment with their goals
and create a culture that rewards growth,
contribution and collaboration.
Welcome to the No Broke Months for Salespeople podcast, the ultimate destination for salespeople,
business people, and entrepreneurs.
As you immerse yourself in this show, you'll discover the secrets to unlocking consistent
and predictable income.
We reveal the new way to persuade human behavior by mastering the Art of the Teach to Sell
method. Get ready to transform your approach
and achieve unparalleled success.
Invest into your business, the prospecting specifically,
and it allows for you to be able to be more efficient,
more effective, et cetera.
When you can position yourself so that you're 90% looking
for talent and 10% looking for business,
that's a really damn good business.
That's a developed business.
At the beginning, I recommended you spend 90% of your time
looking for business and 10% of your time looking for talent.
Right around the time that you get from the lead generation to the organization building,
you're going to make that basically 50-50. So if you're spending 50% of your time looking for
talented people to support you, that's where I am right now, by the way. And 50% of your time looking for, looking for business,
that's a good business.
That's a really good business.
As you get into leadership,
then you're gonna be relying on the people
that you have for you for them to go get the business.
But you're never gonna get rid of your responsibility
for getting business at any given time.
So if you look at this, it's going to go like this, 90, 10, 50, 50, 10, 90.
So you're looking at that on the side.
I'm sorry for the scrap notes here, right?
But over here on the side, 90% looking for business, 10% looking for talent, 50% looking
for business, 50% looking for talent, 90% looking for talent, 90% looking for talent,
10% looking for business.
That makes sense, everybody?
That's the development of the business.
Welcome to the Teach to Sell Leadership Course.
This course builds on the powerful teach to sell concept, showing how education drives
sales and builds relationships.
But this time, we're taking it further.
We're taking it into leadership.
Because leadership is more than managing.
It's teaching, guiding, and inspiring those around you
to achieve lasting success.
It's demonstrating to people how they can think
so that they know how to feel inspired to take action.
So whether you're leading a team, a business,
or a family, the principles we're going to explore in this course are going to
transform how you lead and influence others. Because leadership is influence.
It's about meeting people where they are, understanding their goals, and then
guiding them towards success. And the impact? It ripples through your business, your team, your personal life.
When you focus on growing those you lead, you create lasting results,
offer value, provide solutions, and inspire others to be their best.
This is what it means to lead with with purpose because success is a team effort.
The strongest teams thrive on trust, clear communication, and mutual respect. Build trust
by ensuring that every member feels heard and valued. Set clear expectations. Show how each
role contributes to the bigger picture and watch your team achieve more together.
Let's talk about the key habits of successful leaders.
They set clear expectations because vague goals lead to frustration.
They lead with care and honesty by supporting first and then providing constructive feedback.
They listen actively. They seek
to understand before they respond and they respond instead of reacting by
giving thoughtful solutions to be able to create better outcomes and they
remove obstacles. So after you set the direction, you give them all the tools
and resources that they need, you get the hell out their way so that they can thrive.
And you foster open communication by encouraging ideas and concerns.
The best leaders, they don't sell.
They teach.
They build trust.
They change lives.
Teach yourself is going to be published by Posto Press and Simon & Schuster. It's going to show you how to lead with influence, to lead the old way
of chasing behind. Pre-orders are open now. Lock in your copy to visit www.teachyourselfbook.com.
Clay bonuses you're never going to see again. Your future followers are waiting because
people don't want to be sold. They want to be led.
And it's your time.
Great leaders don't just attract talent, they retain it.
Talent people stay where they feel valued, challenged, and supported.
To keep your team engaged, maintain alignment with their goals and create a
culture that rewards growth, goals, and create a culture that
rewards growth, contribution, and collaboration.
And understand leadership, management, they're not the same thing.
See, management oversees tasks and things where leadership inspires actions.
Leaders model the behaviors that they expect,
creating a culture of accountability and growth.
And it's about setting an example and empowering others to achieve their best.
And I want you to achieve your best.
And I want you to inspire those that you lead to achieve their best.
Understanding that high standards create high performance,
but accountability as the glue that holds it all together. So I'm going to encourage you to hold regular check-ins, set clear goals, and understand
what drives your team members.
Because when everyone knows their roles and expectations, you build a culture that drives
consistent and predictable results.
The Teach Yourself Leadership course is not just about leadership.
It's about transformation.
You're going to walk away with the tools to lead, with clarity, so you can inspire your team.
You're going to achieve lasting success for everyone involved.
And I want you to lead with influence, trust, and purpose.
It's time for you to make an impact. By the way, if you're looking for
opportunities to join a thriving team, hit me up with the consistent predictable income community.
We're looking for highly talented people that match our purpose of helping business owners,
of helping salespeople and entrepreneurs never have a broke month ever again. And if you think
that's something that will inspire you hit me up.
I'd love to talk to you.
God bless.
All right.
Thank you very much.
So we heard a lot there about leadership.
And one of the things about leadership that I want you to understand is that it
begins with who you get into business with or who you get into relationship with.
And if you put it this way, my daughter is almost 15 years old.
So she's hopefully at least, I would hope 12 years away from getting married.
And I believe that's going to be the most important decision of her life.
And that's what I'm teaching her today.
What I'm teaching her today at the age of almost 15 is the most critical
decision you're ever going to make is who you marry in your entire life.
At least it's going to be one of the top three or so probably the top one
in my opinion.
And when you understand that then you get that your life becomes
precious and easy. You screw that up, your
life to whatever degree ends up being whatever it is. I met with a seller last
week who had a 56 year relationship with her husband, 50 years married, last week.
And the level of life that she had, I asked her.
I asked her about her relationship.
He died a year ago.
And she says it was a blessing.
She shared a little bit.
She didn't really get into what she's experiencing today
about where she's a little bit lost.
But she was sharing with me,
it's like we would finish each other's thoughts.
We would finish, or we were one.
It was like we were one individual and now I'm half.
That's what she said to me, something like that.
And so what you can see is that somebody that really understood who they were with and had a,
and she's still alive, of course, right?
But had a really precious life and a really fulfilling life.
So when you understand that, in business, it's the same thing.
Who you get into business with matters.
Let's have the best day of our lives.
Be grateful.
Make good choices.
Go help somebody.
God bless you guys.
I'll see you.
