you're on the right track. This is for everybody. I want you to just right now be at peace,
have an open mind, and I want you to just really consider the answer to this question. You're
going to have a little bit to write it down. I really want you to consider the answer to this
question. What will your life look like? What will your life be like? What will you
experience? I want you to fast forward three years from now, January 30th, 2026, and you're looking
back and you made no changes. And I want you to imagine who are you surrounded with? What results have you achieved or didn't achieve?
Are you happy?
Are you frustrated?
Are you proud?
Or are you ashamed?
If nothing changes in your life today, what does your life look like three years from now?
Now, if we were coaching one-on-one today, one of two things is going to happen when
you do this exercise.
Either one, you're going to be happy with the results, or two, you're not going to be
happy with the results.
Who wants to know what the difference between those two is of what's happening today?
And if you were the coach and you're looking at somebody and they brought you one person, a says my life is, you know, three years from now, if nothing changes, I feel like crap.
I feel defeated. I'm broke. I don't know the answers. That's person. A person B is, man,
this is awesome. I continue to grow. I continue to thrive. What's the difference of today between
those two people? There's only of today between those two people?
There's only one difference between those two.
The only difference between those two is the one that's thriving is doing the activity.
That's the only difference between those two is already doing the activity.
The one that's frustrated is not doing the activity.
So instead of helping us with our goals to sit there and tell you what
to do, I'm going to give you, here's another way to use this term, a vehicle to place around your
goals so that you're either achieving it or not. Because if a year from now I didn't achieve these
goals, I still wouldn't be frustrated. I would still be proud of myself, even if I didn't achieve
these goals. Why? Because I know that I'm going to pour into my environment. I know that I'm
pouring to the people who I lead. I know I'm going to put every ounce of my energy, of my spirit,
of my knowledge, of my experience, of every single freaking thing that I could possibly devote into achieving that goal.
And when you do that, the reality of it is,
it doesn't really matter if you hit the goal or not,
because it's about who you choose to be.
And I promise when you choose to be somebody who's going to be that committed
to achieving whatever it is that you intend to achieve,
then you'll be proud of yourself and you'll feel good who's going to be that committed to achieving whatever it is that you intend to achieve,
then you'll be proud of yourself and you'll feel good and you'll achieve more than if you choose to not map this out and if you choose not to write this down. Thanks for listening to the show today.
