Starting point is 00:00:49 Thanks for joining me. Enjoy the show. What you should do after getting fired. Real estate coach Dan Rochon from No Broke Months for Real Estate Agents talks about the next step you need to take after getting fired. In this episode, Dan shares valuable tips from the CPI model on how to proceed after being fired by your client. Learn what to do after getting fired in this new no broke months for real estate agents episode. So let's talk about mindset. Two weeks ago, I got fired. 20, 13 hours ago, Ted got fired. And what's the rule when you get fired?
Starting point is 00:01:32 Here's the CPI rule. You may not know what the rule is because I don't talk about this. You guys want to guess what the rule is? I think I did mention it actually when that happened to me. So if anybody was here during that conversation, what do you remember if you heard me say what the rule is, when you get fired, what do you do? I tell myself to suck it up, Buttercup. You tell them no?
Starting point is 00:01:52 I take responsibility. I love all of these answers. When you get fired, you take responsibility, you suck it up, Buttercup, and you find two new clients. Okay. You don't find a new client. You find two. You guys got that? It is in my DNA. It is in my psyche that it's almost like somebody say thank you to me. Thank you. You're welcome, Rocky. Now, who do you know who's in the market to buy a home, sell a house, or invest in real estate? Somebody from your da-da-da-da-da-da-da. Okay?
Starting point is 00:02:32 Thank you. It's like Pavlov's dog. When you hear thank you, you ask them for a referral. And the framework for that, we're not going to go down this route today. You're welcome. By the way, who's looking for this same level of service, whatever they're thanking you for, who may be in the market to buy a home, sell a house, or invest in real estate. And then you ping the brand by giving them three options. Somebody from your skating rink, somebody from your kid's school, somebody from your work, who comes to mind.
Starting point is 00:02:58 And then when they say somebody, say, well, I'm going to treat them like gold, update you throughout the process, and most importantly, make you look good. So just like that, when you hear thank you, you're welcome, and then you ask for a referral. That's Pavlov's dog. The bell rings, you drool. When you get fired, Pavlov's dog. So this helps you to manage energy. You're fired. Great. I'm going gonna go find two new listings you guys you guys follow that framework i want you to intuitively i want you to have that ingrained in you so that when you achieve those two new listings it's's not a big deal. Okay. So Teddy, what's your job? Find two new listings. All right. So Teddy, your job today is to go find two more.
Starting point is 00:03:53 Thanks so much for listening to the No Broke Months podcast today. Until the next show, I invite for you to be grateful, make good choices, help someone, have the best day of your life, and go find a listing.
