In this episode, Dan advises new real estate agents about the first thing to do after getting
your license. Learn what's the best thing to do after getting your license in this new No Broke
Months for Real Estate Agents episode. Okay, I just got my license and now what? So what I would recommend to you is that we come up with
a very, very clear plan of, of like how you're going to get business. Okay. Because where you're
at right now is anything that's not getting business is a distraction. And so really candidly starting, but not just starting. I mean, literally as a
coach, as a broker, you know, as a leader, it's always the same challenge where, you know,
everyone says, yes, I get that yet people don't do it. Right. And so I'm telling you this,
like there's only one thing for you to do right now. Go find business. There's nothing else for you to do.
There's only one thing for you to do right now. It's not to get organized.
It's not to get set up. It's not to take your post licensing class.
It's not to set up your website. It's not to attend an EXP class.
It's not even attending this class. It is go find business. As a new agent, you've got a lot of things coming in at you. You're having a hard time sort of sorting through all this. And what I'm going to recommend is that you sort of take everything and you put it over on the side and you focus on one thing and one thing only, which is go find business. Now, for some, you may be like, well, I don't know how to do the business. If there's only one job that you have and you're investing 30 minutes into that one job,
then would you have a very high expectation that you're going to create lots of results from that?
If I was coaching you as a new agent, I would say six to eight hours a day of Focus Lead Generation will get you business in the next four months.
30 minutes of Focus Lead Generation will get you business in the next six to nine months.
