Real estate coach Dan Rashan of No Broke Months for Real Estate Agents talks about making the right decisions in choosing what you P.U. in your schedule. In this episode, Dan explains how saying no is essential when deciding what to put in your schedule. Learn more on what Dan means about this in this new no broke months for real estate agents episode. The difference between the successful and the unsuccessful is that the successful understand no. They understand the word no.
Starting point is 00:01:26 Where the less than successful don't understand the power of a no. You recognize that when you say yes, you are saying no to infinity minus one. The minus one is what you just said yes to. When you say yes to being here on this, a part of this conversation today, right now, and I'm grateful that you're here and it's a smart choice for you to say yes to be a part of this conversation. You're also saying no to going to Pizza Hut, to playing Ms. Pac-Man, to going skydiving, to lead generating during this 30 minutes. You're saying no to going to Dunkin' Donuts. You're saying no to take a drive across the country. You're saying no to going to Dunkin' Donuts. You're saying no to
Starting point is 00:02:05 take a drive across the country. You're saying no to going to go volunteer. You're saying no in infinity to every single thing else. When you recognize that a yes is one, and when you say yes, that's one unit, opposing that is every other possible thing that you could have said yes to that you're saying no to. Once you understand that, you'll get more responsible with your yeses. So I give you the framework in business of the five things that make you money in business to say yes to. I give that to you because those are the things that make you money. Those are the things that cause you success in real estate sales. And if you don't have this etched in stone, it's lead generate, convert the leads to meet
Starting point is 00:02:52 with you, meet with them for the purpose to get hired and show homes, negotiate and practice your description role play. Those are the five activities that make you money. So when you choose to say yes to that for an hour and a half or so a day, one to three hours, you'll have CPI. But recognize if you say yes to something else, it's going to take away from your opportunity to do anything else. Talk about Steve Jobs.
Starting point is 00:03:15 People think focus means saying yes to the thing that you've got to focus on, but that's not what it all means at all. It means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that are presenting to you. So you have to pick carefully. And we talked about your lead generation options, but there's 150 different ways that you could do this, right? But your job is to only pick the three and do one at a time. Because is it a good idea to do YouTube videos? Yes. Or for real estate prospecting? Is it a good idea to go knock on doors? Yes. Is it a good idea to go knock on doors yes is it a good idea to open houses yes is it a good idea to uh host client appreciation events yes yes yes yes yes yes yet one at a time because if you don't do one at a time then you're saying yes to all those
Starting point is 00:04:00 great ideas and then you get nothing done. Thanks so much for listening to the No Broke Months podcast today. Until the next show, I invite for you to be grateful, make good choices, help someone, have the best day of your life, and go find a listing.
