Do you think about this statement that the risk of inaction is often greater than the risk of action?
Oh, definitely. Yeah. And as an athletic coach, sports coach, I coach from the standpoint of somewhere along those lines, that opportunity to lose is a greater motivator than opportunity to gain.
Absolutely. Yeah. game absolutely yeah you know there's a reason why grown men when they sitting on the bench when
they realize they just lost the super bowl or crying because they got so much invested in it
so much they put in it you know the team that goes 0 and 16 they're not crying at the end of the season
they're frustrated and they're yeah exactly you know so will we fail along the journey uh and let me before we talk about that question um
understand that failure is just simply you know failure is not the worst thing not trying in my
opinion is a more of a detriment and then also about failures i don't believe that there is
failure i only believe that there's learning opportunities. And the only place where I would say that there
is failure is when you quit, if you shouldn't. So there's a little bit of a paradox there because
I know once upon a time, I owned a real estate brokerage with 150 plus agents.
I owned it for 10 years and I struggled for the
last five years. And because of my unwillingness to quit, I put myself in a position that, or I
chose a position that didn't serve me and didn't serve, well, served others, but it didn't serve me.
And so there could be a time where it is appropriate to quit, but the distinction of when that becomes reality
is something that's for each of us to decide,
but really, if there's still opportunity to grow,
if there's still opportunity to succeed,
if there's still opportunity to serve,
then I would suggest that you don't quit,
and if you're enjoying yourself.
