OK, because there's a really significant point in the process that if you're heading and you're showing up on the appointment and you haven't gotten hired yet, then, you know, if you're not willing to follow that critical piece of the process, you're probably also missing other pieces.
All right. If if you don't get hired, you don't get paid. OK, so the critical piece of the process is to get hired.

Why it is important that you follow the process. Real estate coach Dan Rashan from No Broke Months
for Real Estate Agents discusses following the process. Dan explains that if you show up at the
appointment and still need to get hired, you might be skipping some steps intentionally or
unintentionally. So you must follow the process from start to finish. Learn why it is vital for you to follow all the steps in the latest
No Broke Months for Real Estate Agents episode. I can always tell when somebody is following the
process and when somebody's not based on what's happening, okay, which makes my job sort of simple
in a way. It's simple in a way
where I know what the problem is, but the challenge that I sometimes have is then impacting a difference.
All right. Very much like a doctor could know, okay, well, you have lung cancer because you
smoke cigarettes every day. Okay. And I know that if you stop smoking cigarettes, well, of course,
the cancer wouldn't go away, but you get the point of the analogy, right I know that if you stop smoking cigarettes, well, of course the cancer
wouldn't go away, but, but you, you get the point of the, of the analogy, right? I know if you stop
doing this bad activity, you would be better. Okay. So even though the doctor sees that they
can't necessarily make an impact easily, or I think a better one would be, Hey, look, if you
keep smoking, you're going to get cancer. And then the people will keep smoking, whatever the case may be. All right. And so, so I say that with you, because,
because what I noticed is sometimes I may be guiding somebody and they may
consistently not have gotten hired before they go to the appointment. And if that's the case,
that's a digative, like that's a symptom of, well, they're not following that part of the process,
which also means that they're also not probably following other pieces of the process as well,
because it's unlikely that they're going to just remove one piece. Okay. That's just an
unlikelihood. So if you find yourself going on the appointment face to face, and I want that to be
sort of a red flag for you to shine in your face like, oh, crap, did I follow the process?
OK, like that should be a shiny, shiny, shiny, shiny light, like strobe lights in your face of a red like danger, danger.
OK, because it's a really significant point in the process that if you're heading and you're showing up on the appointment and you haven't gotten hired yet, then, you know, if you're not willing to follow that critical piece of the process,
you're probably also missing other pieces. All right. If, um, if you don't get hired,
you don't get paid. Okay. So the critical piece of the process is to get hired.
Now, here's another thing that I want to notate to you as well. We, and I want to share this with
you. Um, I to share this with you.
I can share this with you in a... I got to be careful the way I talk about this, right?
Because I'm going to talk about commissions here.
But I'm just giving you just data points, okay?
So I'm not influencing what you guys do.
And so today, we have a closing with a buyer.
That buyer is paying us 1% commission. The listing, the seller's paying us 2.5% commission.
And the buyer's also paying us an 895 administrative fee. Now, the interesting
thing about our industry is that people look within the industry,
they look at that like that's a bad thing.
And that's a consistent thing in the industry
where if you're going to charge prices
that you want to charge,
then others look at you
like you're doing something that's not good.
And I have evidence of that
because every single time that I go with a new lender, the lender is always giving me a call. I got the call last night.
What is this? And so that's just something that I want you to consider about your compensation.
I believe firmly that I deserve to be able to get compensated based off of my experience, my knowledge, and my know-how. I encourage for
you to be comfortable with that as well. Thanks so much for listening to the No Broke
Months podcast today. Until the next show, I invite for you to be grateful, make good choices,
help someone, have the best day of your life, and go find a listing.
