If I would have asked him three or five days ago, I'd bet you $1,000, I wouldn't be helping him today. I would have scared him off. So understanding when to get hired is vital. This buyer, I think that he talked to Diana at one point. He talked to me twice.
Starting point is 00:01:38 Yesterday, we were having a conversation going through the video conversation of the 80-20 and including finding homes. Today, I've identified four homes for him. I'm going to take those four homes. I'm going to find out which of those four homes are viable. He's really ready to write an offer that gets accepted. But because I haven't pushed it, in fact, in the conversations, he's even mentioned to me my other agent has shared this with me or whatever the case may be. But he hasn't hired the other agent. So understanding when to
Starting point is 00:02:12 get hired is vital. So what I'm going to do is today I'm going to take those four, I'm going to narrow it down to two or three or one. And then I'm going to say, do you want to take a look at these homes on Saturday? And then he's going to say yes. And then I'm going to say, do you want me to help you throughout this transaction? And he's going to say yes. And then I'm going to say, okay, great. And for me to show you these homes, I just need you to okay some paperwork real quick. It's standard paperwork. Everybody signs it. It's easy. And I'll send it to you right now in a digital signature. Okay, so that's very, very different than what many agents that I've trained in the past. They're like trying to get hired, like in the journey, they're trying to get hired way up here.
Starting point is 00:02:55 Okay, and instead, you want to get hired. Now, guess what? Have I shown them any homes yet? No. Okay, so I'm still getting hired before I go to work, but I'm, I'm bringing them down the entire process before I even mention it. And it's not been mentioned yet. If I had a hundred dollars, I would bet you a hundred dollars right now. I'm not going to bet anybody that he's going to hire me today. Okay. Like I would bet on that.
