If you let yourself get distracted today,
if you let yourself do anything else besides,
and I'm not saying that there's not other things to do, right?
But the more things that you end up doing today
that aren't highest priority,
then the more diluted your outcome becomes, the less income that you make. So
maybe you can consider your business career like you're following a recipe.
Maybe you could consider that the CPI frameworks are that recipe.
And when you follow the CPI frameworks, you no longer have
to have fear about what is the future. I taught a presentation last week. I'm going to do an
online presentation in about two weeks or so, Teach to Sell. And during that presentation,
when I was done with it, one of the attendees came up to me. She says, you know, Dan, I've
been following you for years. And I really sort of thought that I knew what you do. It came up to me. She says, you know, Dan, I've been following you for years. And I really sort of thought that I knew what you do. It came up with something that I wanted to share with you
that you may want to consider communicating to others, because here's the way I would describe
what you do, Dan. You teach us frameworks of how to make sales so that we don't have to be afraid.
Right? Like she's like, that's what the CPI systems are.
It's simply, here's the recipe. Now, you follow the recipe, you know you're going to have those
golden brown pretzels. You know you're going to have no broke months. You know you're going to
have whatever the recipe is going to define for you. All right, there's your lesson. Now,
we're going to turn this back to you. I'm going to ask you guys some questions, and this is your turn to be able to answer some questions. So when we talk about being more specific, what I want you to understand is that generalizations will kill your clarity. So what is it that you want to achieve? What is it that you want to achieve? By October 15, 2025, I will earn $300,000 a year.
Yesterday, I was driving on the Beltway. I was thinking about this.
And I was thinking about, I was visualizing, I was seeing that money. And I was like,
F yeah. I felt it. I had the passion. I had the emotion. I saw it. I embraced it.
That's where I'm going.
How will I get there?
To reach that goal, I'm going to have two appointments every single day with either a buyer, a seller, face-to-face, or somebody to join my company.
I'm going to do that five days a week from now until October 15th, 2025.
Is that specific?
And I'm going to train five days a week.
Is it clear on what I just said I'm going to get?
And is it clear of what I just said of what I'm going to do?
Can you tell me if I do it or not?
Is that specific?
Yes or no?
Right?
It's clear, right?
We can all say that that's clear.
When I follow that model,
when I follow that recipe of two appointments face-to-face, five days a week, teach five days a week, it is predictable that I'll get the result. It's like it's predictable that you
follow the recipe and you got these nice golden pretzels, you know, and that was a really easy recipe to follow.
I'm excited about those pretzels.
They're really good.
I had one this morning and I don't ever eat breakfast and I'm feeling like I'm a little guilty, but I'm going to be okay with it because it was a really good pretzel.
