If you still keep doing the same damn plan over and over and over again, it doesn't work.
Do something different. When I very, very first started, I'd play the game. I'm going to make
calls until I set an appointment. Some days it would take me 12 or 14 hours to set those calls
or to set the appointment rather, but I'm not going to stop until I set an appointment.

Let's talk about time blocking.
So I say one to three hours a day of lead generation. When I started teaching and coaching and leading people, I always said three
hours. And then through time, I recognized that I'm going to change that to one to three hours.
So what caused me to change it to one to three hours is because nobody was doing it. Nobody was
doing it. It goes back into like what I was saying, if you still keep doing the same damn plan over
and over and over again, it doesn't work, do something different, right? Or change the obstacle. And so what I recognize as a coach, as a leader, I wasn't, people weren't
doing it. So people aren't doing it. I need to change something. And it was almost a hundred
percent of people weren't doing it. So if it's, I can't change the people because if everybody,
if everyone's, you know, has a challenge with the time blocking and that is just what it is.
So that's when I changed it to one to three hours rather than three hours.
And so then now when you hear me talking about time blocking, I always say one to three hours.
So now if you have a challenge with time blocking and if you want to time block in your business, your CPI time,
could you without fail schedule one hour a day if you can't do more and do one hour a day for lead generation?
Is anybody here such that you say, you know what, I have so many obstacles, I'm not going to be able to do that one hour a day?
Everyone could do at least one hour?
Okay.
All right.
So then if that's the case, your minimum that I would suggest that you start five
days a week is one hour. Now, if you have a realistic conversation with yourself and you
say, you know what? I could do more than one hour, then whatever that number is,
say that you're going to do it. When I started in real estate sales, I'd play the game. I'm going
to make calls until I set an appointment. Some days it would
take me 12 or 14 hours to set those calls or to set the appointment rather, but I'm not going to
stop until I set an appointment. Now I became good enough, fast enough that I changed it for myself
from until I set an appointment until I get, uh, until, uh, until for a certain time period.
And that certain time period at that time in my career
was three hours. Because what I found was if I did it until I set an appointment, I would only
do it for about an hour and a half, two hours, less than three hours. And so I was like, wait,
I'm shortcutting myself to follow that. You probably wouldn't be shortcutting yourself
if you chose to say, I'm going to do this until I set an appointment. Now, I'm not suggesting that you
do that because you may not be able to. You may have kids, you may have families, you may have
other things. You probably do. At the time, I was able to set myself up so that I could do that.
A third year of business, I did 109 transactions. That's the result of that. Right. So the activity that I did was originally, I'm going to keep making calls until I set an appointment. And then the activity that I did was I'm going to do three brokerage that I worked for. So I'm not sharing anything that I'm sharing with you for any other reason,
just to demonstrate to you, like, here's the cause, that's the effect.
Here's the action, that's the result.
