Sales coach Dan Rashan from No Broke Months for Salespeople discusses creating your destiny. In this episode, Dan recommends avoiding how and why when setting your goals because these words can hinder your progress. And it is better to focus on taking action to achieve your objectives. Because if I would have let how get into my mind, I wouldn't have been as big and bold as I was. And you go back to that other dirty word that's even dirtier, which is can't.
Starting point is 00:02:03 So here's the thing. So when you're creating your destiny, don't worry about it. Just write it down. Now, when you write it down, what you're doing is you're programming your subconscious. I forgot I had this list. It sat on my wallet for 10 years. You know how many times I looked at it? Maybe less than three.
Starting point is 00:02:24 And then one day I pulled it out and I started looking through and I'm like holy crap I've done 80% of this and when I wrote the list do you know how much I knew how I was going to do it I had zero awareness of anything it didn't even cross my mind something that I wrote down you guys may want to consider this I don't know I gotta find out who said this I think it was Ben Franklin I'm not positive never go to sleep without a problem for your subconscious to solve and every single night when i go to bed that's what i do so it's like why am i going to work so damn hard at this but right now i'm putting up this massive lead generation system for my sales business and and i there's been a couple times where i haven't clearly understood it now
Starting point is 00:03:03 and i would go to sleep. And before I go to sleep, by an hour before I go to sleep, I say, all right, what am I going to figure out tonight? So you know what? I need to figure out how to be able to – I've got a lot of people coming into the sales system right now, but we're not getting their information. About five or six days ago, po ago, I wake up, I go in the shower, I'm like, holy crap, the landing page, I can change the way the landing page is to do a webinar, sort of like Webinar Jam, where instead of registering for a weekly webinar, register right now and get the webinar right now, and now I got their information that answer came up because I gave my subconscious here's the
Starting point is 00:03:49 here's the question and I didn't know the answer I know the problem and there's still some problems I'm still working out but I know I'll find a solution I don't need to know the answers of how to do this because what I know is when i put it into my subconscious my subconscious will deliver the answers so it's not there's not a disconnect like i write it down and then magically it appears now i write it down and then i start teaching and training my subconscious of what to look for thanks so much for listening to the show.
