there are no unsuccessful people.
There's only unsuccessful habits.
And when you recognize that, when you recognize that your habits create your
outcome, then you're able to then take a crystal clear look at your goals,
crystal clear look at what habits will get you to those goals.
And then you can make a choice.
Welcome to the No Broke Months for Salespeople podcast, the ultimate
destination for salespeople, business people, and entrepreneurs. As you immerse
yourself in this show, you'll discover the secrets to unlocking consistent and
predictable income. We reveal the new way to persuade human behavior by
mastering the art of the teach to sell method. Get ready to transform your
approach and achieve unparalleled success.
So now it's gonna be your turn to interact
and unless you could pause that music,
we may get back some questions.
What were your observations
about those questions I just asked?
Your thoughts, your feelings?
My observation is in many cases,
it's kind of like we know what we have to do
to achieve
the lifestyle we want or be in a position that we want.
And yet many times we let excuses and other things that may be legitimate become bigger
than they should be and give it too much power.
Well, sometimes we let other situations, we give it too much power and let it take a priority.
Yeah.
I noticed that in my last two success versus when you didn't
succeed that I had a lot of similarities in them but I think my why wasn't big
enough in my non-success. Sometimes we create a goal and it may not be the goal
that's gonna inspire us, right? So sometimes it's appropriate to not
succeed. It's okay because sometimes we create a goal that's not our goal. Maybe we're doing it
because we feel that it's something we should do or we feel that we want to
impress ourselves or somebody else or we do it because not in Rachel's case but
because my husband or my wife, I think this is what they want me to do or
whatever the case may be. Right? Or I just want to look good or my my ego is driving me, or whatever the case may be. What else are your observations from
the questions? Or rather from your answers? So when I first did the exercise myself, my
observations were that there are no unsuccessful people. There's only unsuccessful habits.
And when you recognize that, when you recognize that your habits create your outcome, then you're able to then take a crystal clear look at your goals, crystal clear look at what habits will get you to those goals, and then you can make a choice.
So I want you to consider again, and we'll give you a few minutes to think about this, Celeste, you can help me with the music on this one. And I want you to consider we're having this conversation
and you reach something.
This is a professional conversation,
but it could also be personal.
It doesn't really matter to me, right?
Like professional, personal, whatever the case may be.
But to give you a framework of an option,
you could think about your real estate goals.
But it could be something else.
It could be 10 pounds lighter or whatever the case may be.
I want you to get something crystal in your head right now of where you would say,
I feel really, really good one year from today by achieving whatever it is that would make you
feel really good. And I want you to write that down right now. Having achieved that goal, how does it make you feel?
What type of freedom has it opened for you? How does it impact your life and other people's lives?
What were the habits that got you to achieve that goal?
What were the obstacles that got in the way
that you either overcame or allowed to distract you
for a short period of time and then got back onto the,
doing the habits that got you there.
Thank you, Les.
So the three reasons that people do not hit their goals typically is they're not their goals, right?
So going back to what I was sharing earlier,
it's like sometimes we say I want to do something and the inspiration for that isn't necessarily internal.
It's sort of something that I think I should do this, something along those lines.
Hey, hey, salesperson, are you struggling to close deals or struggling to gain trust
or you're struggling to create consistent and predictable income?
I'm Dan Rocheye and I've seen it all.
Salespeople stuck in uncertainty, guessing their way through the business.
And that's why I created the Consistent Rejectable Income CPI Inner Circle.
To give you the tools to master, teach yourself, and finally eliminate the struggle.
Learn how to influence, close, and turn doubt into trust on repeat.

So they're either not our goals,
or maybe the strategy or the tactics were not effective,
or we weren't committed to achieving that goal.
And effective strategies and tactics
include something that you will and can implement.
So three reasons that people typically do not hit
their goals is that our goals or the strategy
and tactics were not effective,
or we were not committed to that goal.
So as we finish up here,
I'm gonna ask for you to share some observations,
but what I want you to do is I want you to have clarity on what your goal is over the next
year. I want you to have clarity on what could potentially get in the way of reaching that
goal, the actual things. Can you get sick? Seven cookies, 17 cookies enter into my world,
whatever the case may be. I want you to get crystal clear on the habits of what you'll
have to do to be able to reach that goal. And I want you to get crystal clear on the habits of what you'll have to do to be able to reach that goal.
And I want you to be present to what achieving that goal will do for you, for your family,
for others, for your happiness, for your health, for your vibrancy.
And when you're able to put those together, you will achieve those goals.
And the only thing between here and there is action.
We got two minutes left.
Who'd like to share?
What are your observations?
What are your questions? What are your feelings? What are your thoughts?
So I'm really grateful that we went through this exercise because it did make me look
back at the successful year and I wrote down three things that I did that I wasn't doing
in a year that I wasn't successful. So I need to think about it some more. I also really
liked the definition of is this goal really mine?
Or am I doing it for some other external reason?
So yeah, I'm excited about thinking hard about this information and discussing it with you
more, Dan, because we have a call later today.
I'm looking forward to that as well.
We have time for one more.
I'd like to share.
It has to go quick though.
So if you're waiting, go now.
What did you observe today?
Go ahead, Rachel. I was just going to jump in. I liked how you said
there were no unsuccessful people, only unsuccessful habits because sometimes you start to doubt
yourself like other people are doing it. But for some reason I can't, but I like that.
Sarah's story with you. There is an agent who, all of us in Northern Virginia, everybody here,
except for Michelle and John, I guarantee you would know this guy's name or more likely you would know his wife's name.
And I guarantee it.
I had a conversation with him recently and somebody who you could perceive as a really
extraordinary success is having really big financial challenges.
I invested in some money in something that we were doing together and that didn't work
out so well.
None of that is important. What's important is to
understand that the only reality that matters is yours. Because I
guarantee you, if I threw the name up you'd be like damn that's a successful
person. Guaranteed. But then if I shared more with you, you'd be like damn.
Alright, well I don't want that. So here it is. This is about you, nobody else.
You guys got that? Yep.
All right, let's have the best day of our lives.
Let's be grateful.
Let's make good choices.
And let's reflect on today's conversation
throughout the day, throughout the week,
and do a little meditation time,
do a little journaling time,
do a little self-reflection if you could.
Because when you're able to set yourself up like this,
then you're able to then achieve what you want to achieve
and get where you're meant to be. And that's what I want to be able to help you is get
you from where you are to where you're meant to be. God bless you guys. I'll see you soon.
