Piers Morgan Uncensored - “THINKS He’s Muhammad Ali!” Daniel Dubois vs Fabio Wardley In FACE-OFF Before Heavyweight Rematch
Episode Date: October 15, 2026Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley are set to renew hostilities in London on Saturday night, as Dubois defends his WBO world heavyweight title in a highly anticipated rematch. Their first meeting in Man...chester in May delivered an explosive 11-round battle. Wardley made a sensational start, knocking Dubois down twice in the opening three rounds, including within the first 10 seconds. But Dubois recovered, turned the fight around and unleashed a sustained attack that forced the referee to stop the contest in the 11th round. The victory saw Dubois become a two-time world heavyweight champion, while Wardley suffered the first defeat of his professional career. Now, just five months on, the pair are preparing to face each other again, with Wardley determined to reclaim the title and Dubois looking to prove his victory was no fluke. Ahead of one of the most hotly anticipated heavyweight rematches of the year, both fighters join us in the Uncensored studio to discuss what fans can expect when they step into the ring once more. My rightly goalie says he plays for the love of the game.
You gave up six goals last week, Steve?
Maybe play to win, huh?
Like with Bet365.
I get paid the second my team goes out big with early payout
and can cash out at any time before the game ends.
Steve, Bet365, the home of winning early.

Just notice your knuckles.
What about it?
They're like they've been hitting a lot of things recently.
Yeah.
He can't punch.
He punches like a baby.
Yeah, it's easy.
I'm gonna beat him like I'm his daddy, that's for sure.
Really?
Yeah.
If I hit like a baby and you went down off those punches,
then what does that say about your chin?
Slipped.
Slipped?
Yeah, man.
He plays the harp as well.
He plays the harp?
I'm dabbled in it, yeah.
You're quite a sensitive little solver.
Angelic?
Well, try.
A little angel with your heart.
Yeah, demon and an angel.
Yeah, when you're not smacking seven bells at him.
I'm going to show you a picture of your own head.
It's a battle we're going to fight.
There's that respect amongst warriors.
When he does that, does it not have the same effect to you and does on me?
It's a little bit scary.
That's why his hands are a bit messed up,
because just constantly, go out of it himself.
Shake hands?
I'm not shaking his hand.
Don't make this a problem, because it's not.
No.
Well, the last time my next two guests faced off in the ring,
they delivered an unforgettable night of, well, frankly, violent chaos.
Everyone loved it.
Daniel Dubois will defend his WBO to World Title against Fabio Wardley in London on Saturday night.
It's said to be one of the sequels, possibly of all time.
You can watch it live and exclusive on DeZone.
I know I will be.
And I'm delighted to say that both of them are here in the Uncensored Studio.
Daniel, we're old muckers from a previous interview.
Fabio, I met you for the first time a few minutes ago.
Really fascinated by the dynamic between you two
because that was a war, what happened between you two and that ring.
When you go through a war like that in a boxing ring
and then you have to sit this close to each other
on the verge of getting back in that ring,
what is that feeling like?
Fabby, let me start with you.
I guess for myself personally,
At least the way I feel about it, it's easier
because you've gone through that level of aggression, animosity, back and forth,
and you can't help but come out with it with a level of respect for the other person.
You can't go through an occasion like that,
that level of back and forth, grit resilience shown on both sides,
and then not have a level of respect from the man to the side of you.
You banged him over in 10 seconds in round one.
I remember watching, go, holy shit, what's just happened?
right? And he got back up.
Then he banged him over again
and he got back up again
and then he beat you.
Does not part of you look at him and go
have I got a punch that can knock him out?
No, not at all
because I'm very confident
in my own abilities,
my record speaks for itself,
having a 95% CO ratio
like I get people out of there
that is the job I do. And again,
the proof's in the pudding. I was able to get him down
twice in the fight. And we both
those shots, they didn't land particularly clean. It weren't thrown particularly nicely. They
cuffed the top of his head. We're going to look at a few little highlights here. As you look
through him, you can see that they, not to say they're a whisker, but they definitely don't
land clean, especially is this the first round? Again, quite high on top of his head and still
manages to get him down. And then again, the third one, or that one was something else. Basically, you
forgot what sport you were playing.
Yeah, someone forgot what game was playing.
It was good.
Good bit of UFC wrestling going on.
But I just remember watching it live and thinking, my God, you guys, A, it was an incredible
fight.
B, like I said, it became like a boxing war, two incredible warriors.
Daniel, obvious question.
How the hell did you keep getting back up?
It's what we do, man.
It's what we do.
What were you thinking in round one when you're down?
Nothing.
It was just like tap.
I didn't feel no pain.
I didn't feel a punch.
Did you the second time?
No.
He can't punch.
Really?
He can't punch, no.
I just kept going through him and...
He looks to me like he can punch.
He can't punch.
He punches like a baby.
Really?
Yeah.
It's easy.
I'm going to beat him like I'm his daddy, that's for sure.
Really?
Yeah.
Fabio, you're going to get beaten like a daddy?
Yeah, apparently.
Or buy a daddy like...
Because you're a big baby.
Yeah, it's a...
It's a previous line he's used already with Derel Miller,
who has the nickname Big Baby.
So there it kind of fit a bit.
Here, I don't know if it's hitting the same.
That along with literal evidence and footage
that he got knocked down twice in the fight
then to say, I don't hit hard or I hit like a baby.
If anything, it doesn't work out well for him
because if I hit like a baby
and you went down off those punches,
then what does that say about your chin?
Slipped.
Slipped?
Yeah, man.
You can't punch.
What is it?
I've only been hit by Jeremy.
Clarkson and a couple of oaks at my comprehensive school when I was a kid and my brothers.
So it doesn't really count because that's just part of growing up.
And all I remember is, oddly, when you get punched, whoever it is, does really hurt in the
moment.
Is it the same at your level or not?
That's a weird thing to say, but I don't remember it really hurting as the punches were
landing.
It hurt afterwards, but not in the moment because the adrenaline was so firing.
Yeah, you're pumping.
Is it like that for you guys?
Yeah, you're pumping.
But you feel immediate searing pain or not?
No, especially not in the moment, in the occasion.
It's not like you take a big shot and you're stopping for a second going,
oh, that hurt.
Like, I've stepped on plugs and you've got a bigger reaction out of me
rather than I have in fights and stuff.
So on the night, on the occasion, the adrenaline's pumping.
You've also trained, and in a weird way,
all the sparring you've done has conditioned you, in a sense,
to take punches as well.
So you build a level of resilience to it.
When you lose Fabio a fight like that,
it must take a lot out of you, both physically, mentally.
We're only five months later.
Has it come too soon this rematch?
No.
Concerned about that?
No, not on the slightest.
I've had big fights, big wars, blood, guts, the rest of it,
and then had a quick turnaround and got the win
and done the job and ticked it off in similar.
fashion. Well, the O2, I mean, you fought Fraser Clark there in 2024. You said afterwards,
the O2 arena will always have a piece of my soul. I left a little bit of me in that ring.
Yeah, I did. How much soul do you have left for Daniel on Saturday in the same arena?
No, I've got a whole lot. I've got a whole lot of soul. Definitely left in me, and especially in the
O2 arena, for me, a home away from home, somewhere I've boxed. I think I'm close to near on double
figures, so it feels like my home ground. It feels like home advantage. It feels like my home stadium
almost.
So it's not, I'm not,
I'm perfectly used to getting stuck into a war.
It may be not going my way,
like the fight you referenced,
with the Fraser Clark one,
that ended up in a draw.
And then I came back around,
made the right adjustments,
ended it in the first round.
Daniel, last time I spoke to you,
you were about to fight Uzek,
and you lost, no shame in that.
He's one of the great champions in history.
You said after I was pretty overweight,
this is after,
the last fight you guys had. I didn't even train that hard for that fight.
Have you trained hard for this fight?
Yeah, let's hope so. I've worked my really hard.
Yeah?
Got in camp really quickly.
You're taking it more seriously this time?
Yeah. Why didn't you the first time?
I took it seriously the first time, but at this time I know what to expect.
So I'm unprepared, man.
Derek Chisora said about you, I think this is Wardley's last fight.
I don't think he wants to box anymore.
This is his cash out.
Yeah, I think he's made a few comments of that lately saying,
this is probably me, I'm going to retire and so on and so forth,
just because he's seen me do a few other things aside from boxing,
a few bit of media works and things.
Could this be your last fight?
No, not in the slightest, not at all.
What if he knocks you out?
There makes no bearing on me on my career whatsoever.
In terms of me progressing forward and still carrying on,
he's got three losses on his record.
He hasn't stopped.
There's multiple...
Derek Chazora practically made a...
career out of losing. He's still going and he
quote unquote retired and then there's talks of him doing the fight
with Gassiev. So no look, a loss is never great. It's never
what we aim for as fighters as boxers but by no means at all
is it ever going to put a stop to my career not at this time.
Daniel what's the game plan for you if you win on Saturday?
What's the big dream left for you? Well there's plenty of
there's plenty left you know. What's the big dream?
I can say to you right now
I can make anything happen in your career
tell me what that looks like
yeah you will
you've got the belts
you've got
you've got a few things I think
I just like to
visualize myself as just starting out
again this is the beginning
this is like my beginning of my career again
and that's the way I see
I look at it fresh start
let's pick up where we left off
let's pick up more belts
let's get more glory
you know
You've got Tyson Fury fighting Anthony Joshua
Would you like to
If you win
Would you like to fight the winner of that?
Of course
Of course
You reckon you could beat it
Of course
Yeah definitely
I take him to school man
I'm ready for him
Do you feel the same way
If you got the chance
Yeah look there's a slight complication
With me
Me and AJ have got the same trainer
He's returned back to Ben Davison
The same guy in my corner as well
So depending on that fight
Would you be allowed to fight him?
Look, we as boxers
are autonomous, we can do whatever we like, but
it adds a bit of complication.
So that
might be a spanner in the works to things,
but if Fury comes through, then yeah,
of course. You're quite an interesting
story. I mean, you were
22 years old,
you were working as a recruitment consultant
in an Ipswich office
and playing football at the weekends,
your big Ipswich fan.
And you decided to go and have a
a bit of a boxing session and a gym, four white-collar fights later,
and you thought, I'm going to turn pro.
It's a bit like Rocky Balboas.
I mean, if it hadn't gone that way, if it hadn't gone to the gym,
you'd probably still be in that office.
What were you doing, recruiting?
Yeah, literally, I was recruiting.
I was in recruitment consultancy for health and social care,
so social workers up and down the country
and recruiting them for agency work and finding them short-term roles.
And I was in the office like your standard nine to five.
are clocking in, clocking out, making sales calls and pitching and doing all the rest of it.
Do you miss those days?
No, no. Don't give me wrong.
That job was pretty fun for that juncture, that part of my life.
But it has nothing on where I'm at now and my career, a path now.
You said at points, if you hadn't gone to boxing, you were at points of being arrested involved in a world that would have gone in a different direction.
What did you mean by that?
Yeah, look, I'm not going to play on some long-winded story or try and play that I was set to be the next biggest criminal in the world.
But I may have not been in the...
Our fantasy commission says for him it's all about the friendships.
Cute, Kevin, but I disagree.
Like with about 365.
I get paid the second my team goes up big with early payout and can cash.
shout at any time before the game ends. No hard feelings, Kevin. Just faster payouts from
Bet365. The home of winning early. Must be 19 and older. Ontario only. Please play responsibly.

life's a very funny thing. It can very easily go left or it can very easily go right.
And it was a phone call that took me to boxing.
If I had not decided to make that phone call and gone a different way,
I could have ended up in a very different place.
Who knows?
But again, thankfully, I found boxing and I've committed and loved a sport
and powered the way through.
As you're listening to this, you're just doing this, I've noticed.
Yeah.
Like you don't really want to either be here doing this crap,
listening to his crap, any of it.
You just want to get in that ring
and start punching him in the head.
Is that what you're feeling?
Well, that's what I'm trained for.
I mean, it must be a week.
You're in Fight Week.
Is that why I just noticed you were instinctively doing that?
Yeah, yeah.
Are you just in twitchy mode now?
You want to get it on?
A little bit.
A little bit.
Bring the chaos.
That's what I'm really to.
Can you sit in it?
I mean, you're being reasonably friendly with each other.
But is that how you're feeling at the moment?
I wouldn't.
It didn't matter.
Whoever I was fighting.
I'm just solely focused.
on Saturday, you know.
But you're going to be punching him in the head on Saturday?
That's right.
And he'll be punching you in the head.
It's a weird thing.
I don't normally interview people who I know in a few days
will be punching seven bells on.
I'm a fighting man.
I do this, you know, my whole life.
So I'm born and bred into this game.
This is what I was born to do.
And I'm here now and I'm ready to take over.
Fabio, I'm going to show you a picture of your own head.
This is why I've never gone into boxing.
I'm just too pretty.
but I mean...
I've had pretty a day.
I've had pretty a days.
That's what Daniel Dubois did to you.
Does that not give you pause for thought?
No, not at all.
He's a very powerful guy.
Yeah, no, look, he is big, strong guy, powerful.
There's also you can pull up clips of him on the floor.
The game's the game.
You make your peace with it very much at the beginning of, yeah, look,
you're going to get some bruises along the way.
I don't know of many heavyweights that get through this game
entirely unscathed without a picture like that
or at least if they have,
they haven't been testing themselves at the top level
with some of the best.
I think a lot of people skip over the fact
that first time around,
I had my pick of the litter in terms of
I had a voluntary choice of who I wanted to fight.
And I picked Daniel.
I asked for him.
I asked for that name.
Out of the choice of,
I want to test myself against the best people out there.
You think he's one of the best?
He is definitely one of the best, yeah.
He's at the top of the tree.
Definitely one of.
There's other names up there as well.
But I thought the best fight out there, especially in terms of UK audience and the kind of, not to say battle for Britain, because that's doing its own thing in a few months time.
But especially of this new school, new generation, who's the one that's going to take the crown?
And I wanted to take him out along the way.
And I wasn't successful, first attempt, but don't worry, we've got one more.
I interviewed Mike Tyson last week.
I've interviewed many times over the years.
I find him completely fascinating.
And I said, you know, peak, he said Muhammad Ali was the greatest heavyweight there's ever been.
And I said, you know, Peak Tyson v. Muhammad Ali.
Tyson before he went into prison was the most ferocious thing I've ever seen in the ring.
Who do you think is genuinely the greatest heavyweight there's ever been?
And if Tyson fought Ali both at their peak, who would win?
I like Tyson a lot.
I grew up watching Tyson like crazy.
But Mohammed Ali is, um, will be a legend forever.
He's just that step above.
But I couldn't say he would win a fight,
but two great fighters that I've learned a lot from.
And I tried a young me was like heavy into Mike Tyson.
I mean, the thing is, Bobby, he,
when Ali fought George Foreman, everyone thought Foreman would destroy him
as he had done Joe Frazier and others.
And Ali played the roper dope out of nowhere,
which no one was expecting.
And everyone thought he'd lost his mind.
And in the eighth round, it was, is that all he got,
bang bang bang knocked him out one of the greatest wins probably the greatest
one I've ever seen in boxing Tyson's argument was Mike Tyson that however good
he was and obviously Mike Tyson was sensational that Ali would work out a plan
for him that he was the smartest of all the boxes what do you feel about that
debate about who the greatest is yeah look and that is definitely don't get
wrong that Tyson is a very well-scored man and that is part of the game you can have all the
brawn in the world, you can have all the muscles. But if you don't have the right head on your
shoulders, the right game plan, the smallest person can unravel you or can figure you out or can
come up with a solution to knock you out, stop you, beat you, defeat you in any way which possible.
Your mum was ringside. She was, as always. Will she be there on Saturday? She will.
This is Shawnee Lee. How does she feel about you getting back in with this guy?
She was
My mum was one of the first people on the phone
To say we're doing this again aren't me
You're really
Yeah because my mom definitely feels a sense of
My mother pulled me off a Mohican
A guy with a Mohican
When was this?
I was about 14, 50
I'd gone from a prep school
Private prep school to the comprehensive
So the local skinheads are all salivating
At the thought of punching me back into the real world
And we got off the school bus
and this Mohican guy was boxing.
He was a trained boxing.
He's on, bang, bang, me.
My mother runs out of the house,
comes and pulls us of each other.
And she said,
you'll never doing this again.
So I have the opposite advice of my mother.
This is why I'm not in the ring.
But that's interesting.
She doesn't mind the fact
you're going to get back in
with this guy that beat you.
No, not at all, because she has all faith in me as well.
She has all faith in me to go get back,
what's mine, and that's the belt.
And look at, in the fight itself,
I had early successes.
I was the one that made the mistakes.
I had it in the palm of my hands,
and I did let it slip, and some things went wrong.
And those things we as a team have analysed
and not to say necessarily they're easy to rectify,
but they are very obvious and they are very clear.
So implement the game plan on the night and get rid of him.
Daniel, you're an artist.
You love art.
Used to be.
But you love it.
Yeah, of course.
You see boxing and the boxing ring is a form of art.
Yeah.
Tell me about your love of art. Where does that come from?
I think as long as my dad used to trade artwork.
And so I was growing up around artwork, different stars, different pictures, many different varieties.
Do you paint?
Yeah, I've drawn and I painted.
Really?
Yeah.
You don't do it anymore?
No, not so much.
Why not?
Painting on the cameras in the ring.
Do you see it that way?
Huh?
Yeah, yeah.
You're going to paint a picture with his blood, I'm an artist.
You're going to paint a picture with his blood, right?
100%.
Really?
100%.
He plays the harp as well.
See, you're quite nice about him.
He plays the harp?
Yeah, he plays the harp.
Really?
I've dabbled in it, yeah.
Really?
A harp is?
I'd never had you down as a harpist, don't you?
An autistic harpist.
You know the heart is?
Yeah, yeah.
Of course I know what the harp is.
I just can't imagine you play one.
Yeah, they're in heaven, brother.
You're quite a sensitive little soul, huh?
Angelic?
Well, trying.
A little angel with your heart.
Yeah, demon.
When you're not smacking several bells at him.
That's right.
See, Cricket, you play the harp?
Well, I have a go.
Wow, I would have brought one in if I'd know.
I have a go.
Have you got one at home?
Yeah.
Really?
Yeah.
How old would you play it?
Well, I just, I have a go.
I haven't been up to it.
What sort of pieces do you do?
Just, I'm still learning, man.
Yeah?
So just, yeah.
Do you have a favourite harp player?
Anyway, I've listened to various, but I like it.
You're a man of surprises, aren't you?
How do you square off being an artistic harpist?
It all helps.
It's a heavyweight boxer.
Yeah, it's all boxing, rhythm and not, you know, music and everything.
It's just all part of it, I think.
Do you guys, it's the question for both of you,
but do you ever worry about dying in the ring?
Does it ever cross your mind?
Boxers have died doing this.
This is not for the faint-hearted.
This is not for people who don't know what they're doing.
But I've been covering fights where both fighters were taken to hospital.
And they thought, you know, I remember the Nigel Ben fight.
I was there for that when they both got taken off,
Jerome McLennan, who ended up in a wheelchair.
It's a brutal sport.
Do you ever worry about that?
No, I don't worry about it.
And that's not in a, oh, I don't care for myself,
a lack of regard for my own health way.
It's just that that, that,
aspect of it is something you need to make peace with long before you ever get in the ring.
Or long before even you ever lace up a pair of gloves, really, because yes, it can happen
to in professional boxing. It can happen to boxing at any level. I started, like you said,
at the lowest of levels in white collar boxing. It can happen in that. It can happen in amateur
boxing and in professional boxing. So for you to get into a ring unburdened, you need to make
peace with that a long, long, long time ago and just a level of acceptance of, it is what it is.
I can prepare myself as best as possible,
and I can put myself in the best mind frame
and do all the right preparations,
but the coin may flip, and it is what it is.
What do you feel, Daniel, about that?
No, I never worry.
I know I'm prepared and 100% ready for whatever comes.
I'm a warrior, so I'm just going to hunt him down.
You're also a father now since I last saw you?
How's that going?
Yes, it's all right.
What did you have a little boy?
about that. Okay. Yeah. Has it changed you? Well, well, without going to the details. Yeah,
we're still on the journey, yeah. Did you feel different? I remember I'd do when I became a father.
Yeah. Changes your life. Definitely. You got to think about other people. Yeah, got to think about
yeah, another one coming up. Our fantasy commission says for him it's all about the friendships.
Cute, Kevin, but I disagree. Like with bad 365, I get paid the second my team. I get paid the second my
goes up big with early payout and can cash out at any time before the game ends.

Maybe.
Have you?
Is that a scoop?
Another little Dubois?
Is it two?
Maybe.
Really?
Well, maybe.
It's either you have or you haven't, Daniel.
I mean, I don't want to get into a biology lesson with it.
So you have?
Nah.
Huh?
What's your question?
What is it?
Breaking news?
No, no.
Well, it is breaking news.
I don't want to talk about that.
You just did talk about it?
Well, I didn't know you was going to ask me that question.
Well, then you volunteered a scoop, and I'm just being a journalist, I have to obviously ask you.
All right.
It's the headline now.
Yeah.
New Debar are on the way.
How would you feel if one of your kids became a boxer?
Sorry?
How would you feel if one of your children became a boxer?
Well, that's another conversation.
I don't want to have that right now.
Have you thought about it, though?
I'd stay them away from it, but yeah, let's see what...
Whatever the future holds.
Your dad, Stan, came in for a bit of flack after the Uyzig fight,
reports that he hosted a party,
that delayed your arrival or something?
Is that any of that true?
No.
I was in a party. We had a pre-fight gathering, but it wasn't our party.
So it was no issue with, as far as you're concerned, with your dad.
No.
Because he also got criticized after the Uzek Fight for being too involved coming between you and your trainer.
None of that's true.
You're very happy with your dad's.
Why is the distance in a party and a gathering?
What's a good question?
What's your point? What's your point?
Well, he's asked the question.
I was just wondering.
Well, um...
Listen, just worry about Saturday.
Just worry about Saturday.
I don't know what you guys asked
and trying to dig up something.
That was gone, that's happened.
You know, I learned from that experience.
We never, you know, it was just an experience, really.
What did you learn?
That, you know, don't carry dead bones.
Keep the team tight and keep the team people that are useful.
Dead bones.
Have you got rid of some dead bones?
I hope so.
Clear the closet out.
Are we talking out?
Clare the closet out.
We're not talking actual dead bones out, then.
Maybe.
Really?
I'm joking.
I'm joking, bro.
How many dead bones have you got rid of?
That's an evil grid.
I've got to be honest.
Dead bones?
No, man.
Skeleton somewhere or?
No, it's just...
But you mean dead wood?
Yeah.
Should we call it wood rather than bones?
Well, sounds a bit better.
But you've got rid of people
that perhaps weren't helpful for the camera.
Yeah, definitely.
So you've got a tighter team.
around you. For sure. When you fight someone as good as Uzik, I mean, I think one of the top
three or four that's ever been. I think he's fantastic. Mentally so strong as well. Now,
I've interviewed him a few times and he's just mentally strong. What do you learn from finding
somebody of that caliber? I think I could have beaten. There was some mistakes and things that
just weren't clicking. Now looking back on it. But I'm grateful for you. I'm grateful for
for the lessons I've learned in the two fights with him.
I've, you know, I've gone on and done so much since then.
So, yeah, it's a great omen, great, great to share a ring with a legend like that.
W. You're also a father.
I am.
It's okay. You can talk about it. It's okay.
You're okay?
Yeah, yeah, it's all right.
Has it changed you?
Yeah. Yeah, massively.
But in a different way than I probably was expecting.
I'm a father to a little girl
which I think adds a different dynamic especially
so it's a nice
I've always found it.
I'm a second on the way out here.
I do.
I'm trying to keep up with Daniel.
I'm trying to keep up with him.
Again, I have another girl on the way.
I don't know about his circumstance
but I'll be well and truly outnumbered
three to one in my household.
also, but yeah, look, it's the best thing.
It genuinely is the best thing that's ever happened to me.
It's so much fun.
It's chaotic.
It's everything.
It's all the things.
And especially for, with boxing and how heavy and sometimes weighty it can be,
to be able to walk through the door and kind of drop your bag
and just turn off that switch and just be dad to a toddler or to a 16.
who doesn't know you from Adam, doesn't care that you're on Pierce Morgan, doesn't care you're on the TV.
They just want to throw their doll at you and push their pram around and do whatever else.
That's the...
It's the best break and little reset I've found in my life.
Just notice your knuckles.
What about him?
They're like they've been hitting a lot of things recently.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I just noticed.
Blessed be the Lord, my rock.
which shouldn't fit my hands for war.
For war, yeah.
Is that how you feel?
Yeah, that's how I feel.
What are your knuckles like?
I look after mine.
Pedicure manis.
I mean, these are properly like bruised.
He's been smashing a lot of stuff.
He's a serious guy.
He's probably punching walls and cream,
sometimes a little hand massage.
They're serious tools.
You've got to look after him.
You can't just go barren.
Hand man.
Hang creams and things?
Hand cream, yeah.
You've got to be creamed up.
You know about that.
I can't be coming on.
You know what about that.
You've been living a good life.
You had me a harp.
I had no idea I had a harpist coming in.
Yeah.
If you were like going to play him a song for Saturday,
if you were going to play him something for Saturday,
what would it be?
Not that good, bro.
But, um, no.
On your harp?
I'm not there yet.
No?
Can you play it in?
Piano. Piano.
A bit.
Oh, right.
Very delicate hands, mine.
Although, oddly, here's a great fact for you guys.
I know for a fact that I have exactly the same size hands as two iconic people.
One is Mike Tyson because Turkey Al-Arshake took me to his gym in the desert in Saudi.
And in his gym there, he has handprints, real-life size of every one of the top fighters in the world, including
Tyson, so I put my hands on them and they were exactly the same size.
And the other person who has exactly the same size hands as me and Mike Tyson
because I put my hand on the other person's hand when a magazine did their life size hand for you to do that is Donald Trump.
So me, Trump and Mike Tyson, how about that for a trivia question?
All have exactly the same size hands. Isn't that weird?
And they're not even that big.
Licens hands are not that big.
Do you need big hands or not?
You don't need them.
Mike Tyson is evident for that, obviously.
But I, at the similar,
maybe one of the similar events or whichever in real,
I shook Larry Holmes' hand.
And it was like both of mine put together.
Really?
It's huge.
And obviously he was known for being a big puncher.
So maybe, maybe, who knows?
You've been quite respectful of each other, I'd say.
But there's obviously a simmering undercurrent
because we know what happened five months ago.
It was one of the most ferocious fights I've seen.
And great to watch.
I mean, it was an amazing spectacle
and everyone hopes we'll have the same again.
But that's down to you two.
I mean, Daniel, when you look at this guy,
what's your message to him for Saturday?
No message.
I just come prepared.
You're not looking at him.
I don't need to.
I'm ready for war on Saturday.
Just come prepared. I'm just focused on Saturday, man.
You can look him in the eye and tell him, no.
Does it matter?
Well, I don't know. It just feels a bit like you don't want to look him in the eye.
I don't mind looking him in the eye.
Say it to his face.
You say it.
Me?
Yeah.
I'd take out of you, mate.
What would you say?
Oh, Fast Tank's Morgan.
I'd been in the ring with you this, mate.
Viewers can do.
Do you want it?
Do you want it?
I want it.
Do you want it?
Do you want it?
Do you want it?
Don't be just tell me.
If you watch a clip on Google, on YouTube, you'll find a video footage of me fighting.
Who wants it?
I fight Manny Pacquia in Freddie Roach's gym in LA.
Really?
And at one stage, as I warm up, I chin Freddy with a left hook.
You watch it.
It's all there.
Then I'll do one round with Manny.
And all right, he's good, don't get me wrong.
I was quick.
So you've got to go then.
I'm never scared of anybody.
What's the worst that can happen?
That's right.
Other than you kill me.
That's right.
That's how I feel, man.
What do you feel, Fabio?
Look at him in the eye, telling what you're going to do to?
Look, I'm going to do what I did the first time around.
I'm just going to capitalize on it better.
But you lost?
Yeah, I know.
That's why I said I'm going to capitalize on it better.
I had him down the first.
Pretty good.
He doesn't think you have a punch big enough to actually knock him out.
You know, he knows.
It's silly talk.
I don't know.
No, don't give me wrong.
No, don't give me wrong.
Each fight has to do what they've got to do to build themselves up,
confidence-wise to gee themselves up towards a fight.
And this is the persona that he's created for this fight in particular.
And family, he doesn't hit hard and he doesn't punch.
But why did you hit the canvas twice then?
It doesn't make any sense.
You tripped over?
We watched the clips there.
There was no trips there.
There was no magic wires that tripped him up.
But like, each of their own.
They've all got to do their own thing to how to build towards it.
Me, I'm a professional.
It's a job at the end of the day.
and he's just the opponent in front of me.
I'm going to beat him, knock him out, get rid of him, move all.
What round?
I said the first half of the fight the job would be done with.
So with, what are you saying?
Five, six?
Within six. Within six, he'll be knocked out.
He'll be done with.
Knocked out?
Knocked out.
Daniel?
Where does he get that from?
There's Ma' Mar-Marali or something?
I think so I didn't say it's going to float like a butterfly.
What's your prediction of the fight?
I'm coming for war, gonna break him down and stop him when it happens, man.
Does he get on?
Knockout?
Yeah, stop.
What round do you think?
Stoppage.
Stoppage?
Not a round predictor, but I'm a stop.
Early or later in the fight?
We'll see.
You've been in the ring.
You know each other.
I mean, you're two warriors.
I know you're both going to give it 100% if you saw it last time.
It's a hell of a fight.
I'll be watching, gentlemen.
That's it.
I'll be watching.
O2 Saturday night.
You can watch it obviously on the day.
zone. Good luck. May the best man win. I mean that. I appreciate your company. Yeah.
The harpist and the sensitive new father. Shake it, shake hands. He won't shake my hand.
I've tried a thousand times. You shake his hand. You won't do it. I'll shake his hand,
but you shake his hand. It won't. Why won't you shake his hand? I cleaned it. I anti-backed it.
I told you. I look after my hands. They're cream. He moisturized his hand for you.
You don't want to shake his hand? I'm not shaking his hand. I'll shake his hand after the fight.
Thanks.
shake your hand, family.
Don't make this a problem.
Because it's not, this is how I approach every
fight, I'm in. It's respect.
It's a battle we're going to fight.
After the fight, we'll hug each other, embrace
each other. There's that respect amongst
warriors, so that's how I see it.
When he does that, does it not
have the same effect to you and does on me?
It's a little bit scary.
He has, I mean, it sort of crunches.
No, it is. I would not want
that landing on my head. Maybe that's why
his hands are a bit messed up,
just constantly go out and out it himself.
I'm going to bring a harp to the O-2
to serenade you both.
Seriously, best of it.
Cheers, thanks.
I think we can't end it.
I'll better note than that.
So I appreciate you both coming in.
The best man win.
I'll be watching, so with a lot of people,
on Desone, Saturday night, the O2.
Let's get it on, boys.
Thank you.
Good to see you.
