Starting point is 00:00:00 With the invent of AI, things change a lot. My first advice will go, be yourself. People will love you, they'll believe you only if you are you and no one else. Because I see a lot of people on LinkedIn every day who are hiding behind their words, behind their designs. Just please don't do that. What you have in your mind, what you do in your real life, what you think in your real life, do that on LinkedIn.
Starting point is 00:00:25 You are building a personal brand. So that is the very first thing. And sometimes I literally just get surprised when people are choosing a language which is a very obvious AI language. For example, do not do this, do this. It's not because of this, it's because of this. So those X, Y patrons and tops and pauses, sometimes people do that and a lot of good people who have literally some very beautiful personal brands on this platform. They are still compromising on their content. They're only and only highlighting their personal brands through designs.
Starting point is 00:01:00 Before we dive into today's episode, please hit that subscribe button. Your support helps us grow and inspire more people on their journeys. Thank you. Hello, Atta. Thank you for joining us today and welcome to the show. Thank you so much. Tom, I just speak your name Tom so that you can definitely let me check it if it is Tommy or Thomas or Tom. so I better speak Tom because I love their pronunciations.
Starting point is 00:01:27 How is it going? I appreciate it and honestly I don't mind. As long as it's not Thomas with age, which people often text me on LinkedIn, although they can see that it's Thomas without age, I'm completely okay. It's Tom, I think, a better one. Yes, that is good. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:01:44 And Atta, for those who don't know you, can you please introduce yourself? Okay, so I'm Syed Atalasha and I've been doing personal branding on LinkedIn for like two plus years and you definitely can say this was like the biggest decision of my life because I am actually a gold middleist in BS English so I have to leave my gold middle and my degree and a lot of government jobs behind me for starting this unexpected kind of thing because the results you don't know what will be going here but you definitely are aware of
Starting point is 00:02:20 you will be getting like monthly salary while doing the goal. or anything else out there, 9 to 5, etc. But I have kept all those things aside and have started the personal branding. I have generated like 5 million plus impressions for more than like 10 full-time clients. And we literally generated like a dollar 20k plus in inbound revenue. Like we definitely didn't outreach. We definitely didn't spend any revenue on ads. that was heavily inbound.
Starting point is 00:02:55 So right now, my main focus in personal branding is generating an inbound channel and inbound stream on LinkedIn. We will dive into LinkedIn and this in more detail a bit later. But let me ask you about actually your gold medal, because that's something that I've seen a few times on LinkedIn. And I was curious, what was like your passion or what did you want to become before, like if you wanted to be a teacher, or what was actually your motivation behind studying English? So actually, that passion changed time to time, you can say.
Starting point is 00:03:27 When I was in my school, so I thought I'll be becoming a doctor. And in pursuit of that MBBS, I literally have took some decisions that I regret today. One of their decisions, you can say, was going for admission in one of the prestigious colleges of my state, of my, you can say, province, where I literally put like some five, six like PKR that just literally regret. Because there was no reason for going to their thing. But definitely you learn with time. You learn the things as you go on as you move on. So after my, you can say inter or when I was higher secondary education,
Starting point is 00:04:11 I thought like I should go for becoming like you can say a teacher. So a teacher and my passion, my biggest passion, was writing. Like, at that time, I was writing poetry and I was writing stories and all those things. So for that purpose, I joined a university, a kind of prestigious university of the country for the biggest English and language and literature. And I just definitely didn't know I will end up as a gold medalist, but I put my best to it because writing was my passion and I put my best to the writing when there was exams or any test or anything it was like in sixth or seventh semester when I came to know I can race for the gold medal and I did my best and definitely achieved it at the end I'm very happy to hear that of course and what was it like was like some
Starting point is 00:05:07 kind of exams or was it based on the performance or how did you actually got the gold medal that was actually based on the exams you have to the top of every semester and then your cumulative GPA that should definitely be more than anyone else in the in the bench like among like 60 70 students so that was the criteria and there was a tough criteria as well like for example you shouldn't have failed any paper in those like 48 subjects along the eight semesters you shouldn't have got see the grade a bc so c grade etc so those were some very harsh conditions that you have to care for. So as I told you earlier, I didn't knew until like six, seven semester that this is going
Starting point is 00:05:53 to be the thing. But I kept doing myself. I kept doing like literally the best to achieve A or at least B. If not like you can say B plus, so at least B. And in the seventh semester, when I took out my degree, I took out my DMCs and I checked everything. so I was fulfilling the criteria of the gold medal. And only in the eighth semester,
Starting point is 00:06:19 I had to just keep it up as it is. So I tried my best and I achieved the thing. And to give us a bit of context, because whether it's audience, me or you, we all come from different backgrounds. And obviously in every country, you've got a different level of English. Like some people learn it from young age,
Starting point is 00:06:37 some people maybe learn it from older age. So what is it like actually for you? and for your country, it's like a normal to actually study English early or maybe late or I'm not sure what is it like? It literally is not normal because English is our secondary language as a language. And because I was studying it as a subject, so I have heard from a lot of people that you are going to waste your capabilities while pursuing the BS degree. because taking marks in the subjects, language subjects, you can say any language, like if it is Urdu literature, if it is Arabic literature, if it is English literature, it's always hot. Because there are really small details that teachers are behind during the exams.
Starting point is 00:07:25 They can just mark their strong and there's a lot of numbers, a lot of marks from you. So that definitely is not a normal thing. And for me, for my family, and actually for the whole region, for the whole area here around me, it was just a big thing. achievement, like none of my teachers know anyone in my space has got their thing, except one of my teacher only, who was a ballerless in English. So that literally is not a normal thing. Like you can achieve that thing, their distinction in any other subject, and in the science subject, because that's very easy, not that much, but very easy as compared to language.
Starting point is 00:08:05 As I have heard as people, as I have experienced. So for us, that literally is not a normal thing. That was a big achievement. And in the start, as I told you, I have put everything behind. So this is literally a very, very big decision for me right now. Because still I am in the process of building. I have to build a lot of things. So that was definitely not a small achievement.
Starting point is 00:08:30 I'm glad to hear that. And obviously, it's impressive. And another thing that you mentioned before is that you enjoyed writing poetry or writing, is that still, I mean, writing obviously you write on LinkedIn, but for example, poetry and this type of art, do you still do that? No, I don't do that. Because poetry was until my higher secondary. And when I get into university, I had to be busy with my books, my subjects, every time.
Starting point is 00:08:57 And I didn't have any extra time to write anything, except that gap between the semesters, like two to three months gap. when I got this time. So, okay, in 2018, when I admitted in the university for the same mentioned subject, I thought about creating some opportunities. And one of that was writing for international newspapers. Writing is opinion or any like columns, etc. So there is one of Hong Kong based in Asia Times, I think.
Starting point is 00:09:29 So I have started writing for them. That was just because to keep my practice going. and after that I started my blog in 2021 and I went there for like two three years two years like until 2023 and then I also shut it down because there was not making me money the ultimate goal is always creating any divinue yeah of course you need to survive that definitely because right now my everything revolves around this only one rule if it's giving you money if it's giving you money if If it's generating revenue, it's good for you. Otherwise, not.
Starting point is 00:10:09 So in 2024, I came to LinkedIn and that was in search of a job, you can say, as most of us started. And then I saw some posts from Yasmin and a few other people which kept motivating me for like four, five, six weeks until I published my first post. And after that, it just continued. Happy to hear about Yasmin, someone who made such impact and influenced positively many people. So happy to hear that. And what did you then start posting about? SEO. Because I had just shut down my blog and I definitely had experience of building the websites and SEO and everything.
Starting point is 00:10:53 So I started with SEO that definitely gave me a lot of, you can say, reach. And I think in September 24, I was in worldwide rising stars in Favikon List in SEO. So that was a big opportunity. And I received a lot of friction because of that thing. But as I went on, as I told in the beginning, I am a strong believer of you learn while you move. You learn while you are doing the things. You cannot learn just by watching the videos. You definitely cannot learn just by sitting in front of the chat, GPD are clod and asking questions.
Starting point is 00:11:35 You will learn when you practically start doing it. And that was the case with me transforming from a CEO towards personal branding. That is very true. Great point. I agree. And also, you may hear from people some advice or recommendations on what works for them. But if you don't try it by yourself, you're not going to find. out if it works for you because if it works for one person, it doesn't necessarily mean that it's
Starting point is 00:12:01 going to work for you. So as you really well said, you need to put it into the practice. Definitely. When did you then see the moment or when did you realize that it actually can become your business LinkedIn or actually where you can make money? That's a long story again because I had to put like five to six months continuously towards LinkedIn because in this part of the world, as I told you before, earning as literally a big impact on your life, your marriage, your family, everything, people will definitely put you into a basket if you are nothing, if you have no knowledge. Definitely in your part of the
Starting point is 00:12:46 world, the concept of that thing is different. But here, and that definitely after marriage, you have to continuously keep working or you just put your family and everything aside. Because unless and until you do have a family business or you do have something that is a continuous that continuously generates you income. So that was a big challenge for me in the start. But as I told you before again and again, this was the hardest ever decision of my life, starting this personal branding thing and only and only working on LinkedIn. There definitely is my goal. I am planning to switch to other platforms fully,
Starting point is 00:13:26 but for revenue building, I'll keep doing LinkedIn because I want to master it. You cannot learn the things just by earning a few bucks from somewhere. And then you go and put yourself in any other platform and you're starting teaching that thing to others. You have to master one thing first. You have to give everything to that. all the strategy, all the hacks, and listen until you fully master their things. So I was doing it for like five to six months
Starting point is 00:13:59 and listened until I got my first long-term high paying inbound client back in October, I think October 24. And that was literally the turning point. Oh, happy to hear that. And I think that's something that many people might struggle with or may not know how to do it. So what will be your advice how to get, whether it's first client or maybe clients in general if someone struggles.
Starting point is 00:14:24 Stay there. Just don't move. There's your win. You have to be consistent with what you are doing. Do not move. You literally do not need to move or change anything. You only have to keep changing three things. Your way of implementation, learning and strategies.
Starting point is 00:14:48 But these three things, things naturally change when you already move in the right direction. So you keep learning and that learning brings you new strategies and their strategies brings you new implementation. So my advice is do not move and stay there. You will win. I agree and to be patient because I think that people, I mean, people often look for overnight wins and I think it's sometimes it's probably easy
Starting point is 00:15:16 to feel like that because when you open LinkedIn, you often see people sharing like a success stories and everything and then it's easy to compare but you don't see the whole picture behind the scenes but as you well said keep working on it just don't expect maybe results overnight but weeks or months and it's going to work out so that was a good one sometimes you have to wait for years that is true and don't forget that even those people that are way ahead of you they had to start somewhere as well right so even those that are on top yes yes yes yes yes that is a big example? Then Atta, consider in your experience, what's your advice or recommendations to grow your brand? I'm sure that there's like a message that you receive a lot or Atta how to grow this and that,
Starting point is 00:16:01 maybe with the followers. What do you think is the most important? With the invent of AI, things changed a lot. So my first advice will go be yourself. As I told you in the very beginning before starting this podcast that people will love you, they'll believe you only if you are you and no one else. Because you see a lot of people, I see a lot of people on LinkedIn every day who are hiding behind their words, who are hiding behind their designs. Just please don't do that. What you have in your mind, what you do in your real life, what you think in your real life,
Starting point is 00:16:43 do that on LinkedIn. You are building a personal brand. So that is the very first thing. And sometimes, Tom, I literally just get surprised when people are, they're using a language, which is a very obvious AI language. For example, do not do this, do this. It's not because of this. It's because of this. So those X, Y patrons and those stops and those pauses, sometimes people do that.
Starting point is 00:17:11 And a lot of good people who have literally some very beautiful. personal brands on this platform. They are still compromising on their content. They're only and only highlighting their personal brands through designs. And my advice is always when you write a post through Claude or through JetGPT within like one second or within 10 seconds, please spend 10 minutes or more five minutes to refine that in your own voice. remove the obvious AI patrons and just to make that yours if you are not writing from yourself.
Starting point is 00:17:55 So that will be the first advice. The second will be the very important will be consistency. If you are starting from LinkedIn, you are not going to win tomorrow. You are literally not going to be Yasmin. You are literally not going to be Hermosie. You are literally not going to be Thomas. You have to be you. So you have to be you because right now you have no audience.
Starting point is 00:18:26 You have no rage. You have no nothing. You only have yourself and your LinkedIn in front of you. So keep doing your best. And please, if you are joining LinkedIn, if you are starting a personal brand on LinkedIn, just because you want to earn your 100, dollars next month, please don't. Please don't.
Starting point is 00:18:50 This thing can change your career only if you give it proper time. So consistency means giving it your full hours, your full energy and everything, and listen until it starts working for you. And the third very important thing is the right strategy and right direction. This is the thing that is going wrong with a lot of people on this platform. A lot of good people, good personal brands who complain to me in the DMs or during the calls or during WhatsApp chats, they, like they say everything is going right for them. They are even getting some small clients. But when they think of converting debt into long-term opportunity, it does not seem it is working for them.
Starting point is 00:19:41 And I tell them every time to please revisit your strategy and the way you are doing it. Direction. If you do not know the strategy and those things, please come to Claude, come to CHATGPT and ask them, my strategy is not working for me on LinkedIn. Will you please help me in that? Even ask me in the DM, even ask anyone else in the DM. But if you are going in the wrong direction, as I told before, strategy, consistency, implementation, implementation and learning, both these three things have to go parallel with each other. If there is strategy, no consistency, no learning, you will be lost.
Starting point is 00:20:30 If there is a consistency and no strategy, again, you are going to lose. if there is implementation of the wrong things or the borrowed knowledge from other people, but there is no consistency or strategy you are again going to lose. So those are my few cents for them. I agree with what you said. I will just add to firstly what you mentioned with using AI. I agree with that. And I would also say that engagement matters as well, like when you comment on someone else's post.
Starting point is 00:20:59 And as you well said, that people use language, that they don't really speak. But they comment like that on your posts, obviously you read the comments under our post and you see that it's like a formal language that I cannot imagine anyone speaking like that in their life. I can see it like every day and I'm like, you can just, you don't have to overthink it, just write your opinion in your own voice and honestly it will be much more valuable than one paragraph of super formal language. Even let me tell you, Tom, even if they are going to use AI for commenting,
Starting point is 00:21:33 it can be bitter. It can even be better than their own comments. But the problem is everyone is running towards shortcuts. To what quick fixes. For example, when they open LinkedIn every day, they will be thinking of putting like 150 comments a day. They will literally be not thinking about the quality of those comments. Yeah, it's quantity over quality.
Starting point is 00:21:59 Yeah, I tell you, not 50 comments, 20. or even 10 if they have quality and then again when it comes to engagement there is some engagement strategies i know you will be familiar with it because you are on the platform from literally more than like one two years so your comments are not going to make sense like our tech traction if you are going to do it on a post which is literally two three days old you have to come very earlier you have to put very impressive words in your that comment and you have to wrap up your comment like under 2025 words so yeah definitely that's all come to strategy
Starting point is 00:22:43 yeah I agree then the second point you mentioned is obviously consistency I think it's self-explanatory and the third one to have a strategy I agree again I think good point is that everyone may have a different strategy such as a different goal some people may want to find clients other people who may just want to network and maybe, I don't know, just to chase followers, I don't know, but make sure that your strategy reflects on what you want to achieve. So those were great points. A quick note before we continue.
Starting point is 00:23:15 One of the things I've realized from hosting this podcast is that I spent a lot of time thinking about the conversations long after they end. That's one of the reasons I started unproduced, a solo podcast where I share ideas, lessons, observations and questions I'm still figuring out myself. If you'd like to check it out, you'll find a link in the description. Now back to the episode. And Atta, since you've worked with many clients, what are some of the recurring problems or obstacles that people face, that you've spotted that they need help with? Oh, there are many, there are many. But if decision makers, founders or executives or listening to this podcast, they just need to go to their
Starting point is 00:24:03 link and see their about section. So if that is going to start with the third person, or if that is going to... I was thinking that it doesn't really happen anymore. It does happen. It does happen. You literally have stood a billion, a million dollar industry, a million dollar product, and you are still using a language that literally a nursery kid will do. So that is the first ever thing I see out there and the first ever thing that literally just make me completely love.
Starting point is 00:24:41 Like what's going on here. So that is the big thing. I have recently talked to a few founders. One of them, two ex-founder, I was just talking to him in the DM because when I am rapping my day, So I just put random DMs to people outside on the LinkedIn out there who are active in the comments, etc. So I just keep talking with them just to learn how things are working for them and etc. One person, Tom, I can definitely show his profile to you. He was posting five to seven times per day for like more than for a few months.
Starting point is 00:25:22 and he was 40 plus years old, 40 years old, and he had 20 plus years of experience in sales. But he literally was getting nothing from those six, seven post per day. The other case, there was an early stage founder from a country in the Europe who was posting every day, every day. and when I talked to them in the DM, they told me they did they get nothing from those. I mean, they cannot convert their post into revenue. Another case, who was posting like two, three days, like two, three times a week, and same was the case.
Starting point is 00:26:13 And when I analyzed all the three, even four profiles, and when I checked the 10, cross-checked them and matched, etc. So in short, I analyzed the things. The only problem common to all the profiles was their profile. Their content was doing the job for them. Even their content was bringing like 20, 30, 50, 60, 70,000 of impressions. And they still wasn't able to convert that into revenue. When I checked their profile, so their profile was literally saying, please leave me and get
Starting point is 00:26:57 out. Yeah, that's so. Especially you fix the profile once, you get the basics done and it makes you know, big difference since then. It's not something that you need to optimize it. It was common. It was common. Even one very serious person who was very serious, I cannot disclose the names or the industry, etc. So again from Europe who was very serious about LinkedIn. I just talked to them like two three days before and they wanted to start LinkedIn building on LinkedIn and they have actually started building their company and were planning to start doing on LinkedIn but they told me they cannot they have tried webinars they have tried LinkedIn lives they have tried like engagement, commenting everything,
Starting point is 00:27:51 but they still was getting nothing. And to be very honest with you, brother, again, it was his profile. It is the storefront. Should you give me a few minutes so I can give, describe the psychology going on behind this profile and content thing? Yeah, and it's like, you know, before you used to,
Starting point is 00:28:12 I mean, I guess still, sometimes you share your CV, but you know, back in a day it was using the CV. I guess now still it happens, but now it's likely share your profile speaking for yourself instead of CV, isn't it? Let me tell you the psychology going on behind here. So when someone views your content or they find your name in someone's comment section, the first thing they do is clicking on their profile. If you are thinking, I'm lying or just bombarding particles in the air, You who are listening to me right now, you can just think of yourself.
Starting point is 00:28:52 What do you do when you see a new name in your feed or in your comment section? What's your first thing? You definitely click on their profile photo or on their name and go and visit their profile. So that thing is perfect. Now, when they visit your profile, so you literally have three to seven seconds to stop them. or tell them to leave my profile. So, three to seven seconds. So the first big stoppage element on your profile is your banner.
Starting point is 00:29:33 If your banner is giving them enough reasons to stop and scroll your profile down to feature to about your content, they will or they leave. So what now? What's there in the banner? What specific in the banner? Everyone these are very basics. But I am here to explain what's going on the underlying structure, the underlying blueprint with this content profile match. So your headline must have your USB out there and your USP, which I always say must be unique, unique enough to stop an eye and view your profile. So there are the few elements of the banner. The first one is definitely. the banner itself, then the second stoppage element is your headline. So they read your banner, they see your banner, they read your headline. Now they will decide either they need to move or to stop here and view your content
Starting point is 00:30:34 and then ultimately book a call from your featured section or send you a DM. So if you are having a profile with like literally zero attention and and a very basic or generic banner or headline founder at blah, blah, blah, and 16,000 followers and like 20,000 in the venue, that is not going to help for you. You are here for solving someone's problem. And if you are headline and banner and about is not helping them and they are not seeing the solution of their problem in these sections, they definitely will leave. And it's also very important to have a proper design because, for example, me, when I look at it, the design makes a huge difference.
Starting point is 00:31:24 And it's that first impression that actually makes me decide whether I want to find out more, whether I want to read it. As I told you, as I told you, sorry for stopping is I told you, the first stoppage element is your banner. So the text itself is definitely carry values. But the design, how stunning that is, how visually appealing that is, that matter. Yeah, agreed. And also make sure that it fits with the rest, obviously, of your profile so that you don't have one color banner, one color profile picture, another color your feature section, and all over the place. It's always there. It's always there.
Starting point is 00:32:05 And as we are speaking of this, Atta, what's your reasoning behind using your color? You have this shade of orange or orange and slightly brown. I'm not sure like what shade it is, but to me it's instantly recognizable because obviously I know you're based on that. So have you got the reasoning behind choosing this one? What if I do not tell this? If I don't want to reveal this? No, it's okay if you don't have to do. Is it something funny or random?
Starting point is 00:32:38 So it was an accidental. choice at first and strategic choice now. At first because my first blog that I have started Sayyadatawlasha.com that has this color as a theme and because I wasn't into the sales and everything that time that was accidentally picked. By accidentally I mean I just love this color and picked it. Okay, fine. So that was the color. I used. since like 2021 in my designs in my TV everything and then I brought that same color to LinkedIn. When I brought it to LinkedIn and when I noticed a lot of people, some are purple, some are orange, some are green, some are blue. So there were a lot of
Starting point is 00:33:35 similarities. I wanted to change. I wanted to change to a prominent color that people remember easily and that is just appealing to eyes. Even this one is cool. So when I studied the whole thing, there was literally no one having, I mean, a similar kind of color. Definitely shades are there. Orange is there. You can say yellow is there.
Starting point is 00:33:59 But this color is between orange and yellow. So you can call it golden. So now I keep this color by choice. Because it's now you can say, as you have told me, kind of recognition right now for me. Of course. I mean, it just happens automatically, but you don't really need to see the name. And you've got automatic association. And because you see it all the time.
Starting point is 00:34:26 And also, as you said, it made me think if I know someone with such a color and you're right, I cannot think of anyone because there are people with yellow, people with green, but it's a good choice. Like as long as you own it and you said really well, it's a gold, which makes it even more premium. It started as X-Ead, but now it's a great styling choice. It's now a great price, literally. I do not want to change because I wanted to change.
Starting point is 00:34:50 Like a year ago, six, seven months, I had plans. But when I studied profiles, I opened a lot of tabs, a lot of people in my competitors. So none of them was carrying this color or in closer shade to this color. Like Lara Costa has orange kind of dark and deep. orange and then okay i cannot think right now of any yellow one so yeah that was the reason and actually we discussed clients before and people that you work with so when it comes specifically to you have you got a specific target clients that you work with that you target or is it like any broad i don't know founders consultants etc so at the very first i only worked with
Starting point is 00:35:35 the marketing industries but then because it all depends upon how how will you study the structure that your personal brand is built upon? So I took time in understanding the whole psychology and the structure and the blueprint behind a personal brand. And then I thought, yeah, the better thing is to serve anyone. Yes, when it comes to industries, so I definitely talk to my clients during the call. if, for example, they are from an industry which is far, far from my reach or from my even information. Like, let's say there is arms and ammunition industry. So I literally cannot see any post regarding these things on my feet even today, even these days.
Starting point is 00:36:27 So that means I am not close to these things. I even do not remember how these things. So then I definitely talk to them, like what will be going. If they say I write for them, so then I research their topic and definitely use AI a bit to understand how their feel and their things and the technicalities are, then I write the post. They put into notion calendar and when they have time, they just go and review those posts. And when they review, I have definitely put a lot of things, a lot of columns out there. So that is done from their side. I didn't go for it.
Starting point is 00:37:04 And when it comes to comments, I follow similar structure or they just happily say we will manage the comments. So I say it's okay. So right now I just like I'm mostly focusing on B2B fountains and executives. Yeah, that makes sense. And at just to be aware of time that will be finishing soon, I want to ask you kind of lighter questions. So what is it actually that you like to do in your free time or what are some of your hobbies? Right. Oh, nice.
Starting point is 00:37:33 Is it only on LinkedIn or even outside for yourself? Outside. I do. I love it. I literally love it because it was, I think it's now been years. Sorry, 12 years or so since I wrote my first kind of poem in my local language. It was back in 2014 or 2015. So like it's been 11, 12 years.
Starting point is 00:37:58 So since then I'm in love with writing. And yes. So these days, my free time hobby learning and making bitter my sales process and the sales and generating in bounds. Complete focus. By the way, I'm right now working on the playbook, on a playbook which is going to change the game for every beginner or beginner founder on LinkedIn who are just starting on LinkedIn. that is completely focused on inbound revenue. Zero ads, zero outreach, converting your content into inbound.
Starting point is 00:38:38 And yeah, these days, my free time hobby is that book and again writing. When is the book going to be finished and released? Very soon. Probably I'm planning in the mid of August because that's when summer holidays will be finished and we will be into kind of requisite. your working days. And I'm actually planning for some kind of a very cheap prices for people who are not willing to pay. Like you can say I'll go with three pricing trials like a early bird price,
Starting point is 00:39:12 which you can also call pre-launch and then launch price and then base price. So anyone who definitely cannot pay, let's say, like $60, $80, they can get the same booking like $20, $30 or $15. dollars I'll decide later. But yeah, there is definitely not a playbook if you are expecting templates. If someone is listening to this, this is just again, you asked for a hobby and this is my hobby during these days. I was literally not going to reveal this thing before it is launched, only in my post. So before it is ready, actually, I'm still working on two, three sections of their
Starting point is 00:39:49 table, but it is not going to help you if you are expecting templates. if you are expecting prompts, definitely not. Yeah, this is going to be a LinkedIn coach to tell you, to teach you how you can convert your content into revenue, how to generate your inbound leads from LinkedIn. So that is the hobby these days. I saw it on Instagram that you are posting about it,
Starting point is 00:40:16 so happy to hear that. When we released the episode, maybe it's already going to be out, but so we'll make sure to promote it and that people will. Check it out. And when you spoke about before about the writing, like not now on LinkedIn, but writing for yourself and the Patreon stuff, have you got like even plans for the future to write your own book, like outside and publish it? So right now, my whole focus is on improving my personal brand and mastering LinkedIn to extreme as much as I can do. When I am finished with this thing, and even if I'm going to launch any book, any proper book,
Starting point is 00:40:53 that is definitely going to revolve around personal branding, sales, and the whole LinkedIn thing. I just literally do not want to leave this B2B space. So it's only just to help other people to build their inbound revenue and to build their personal brands, etc. By the way, that playbook will definitely be attached to, you can get that in my banner. And the blue link with my name, if this podcast is going to release right after the book is launched, exactly at the time when the book is launched. Yeah, yeah. Sounds good and sounds exciting.
Starting point is 00:41:37 And as we are speaking about the books, what about you and reading the books? Do you read books? And if so, have you got any recommendations? No, right now. Because from the past two years, I literally have been into the personal branding completely. So I am right now learning myself, things myself from the videos, listening to my favorite people, my favorite personal brand strategist or creators, you can say. So I literally do not have any time for reading right now these days. And if I have, I will only read from my favorite creators, the creators that I can learn from. I'll read their posts.
Starting point is 00:42:19 I'll read their blogs and those other things. So no right now, literally no recommendations. Yeah. No worries. I like the mindset of growing and improving and trying to get better. I think that's important. And as we discussed this, I also obviously saw it on Erlington that you are busy, whether it's your work, building your own brand, your family. So tell us how do you?
Starting point is 00:42:40 manage everything because it can get overwhelming but you do many things so how do you do that it always is overwhelming but it always is rewarding for sure like the big problem as i told you in this part of the world the change of the culture and here you have to feed your family not only yourself and feeding the family not means earning for them that means literally giving them enough time to talk, giving them enough time to sit down with them and just discuss things with them, the you are day. So sometimes it literally gets hard. But like with a strategy again in the management of time in real life, that matters. So yeah, sometimes it literally gets overwhelming, but I am always enjoying that thing rather than considering that a burden for myself.
Starting point is 00:43:36 because ultimately at the end, we are doing all this for our family. So if we are not going to give them enough time, that is not going to work for you. So again, time management can help and then literally sometimes have to work when they are asleep. That's because in the day time I have to just spend like one hour or two hours or three hours with my kids, parents. So yeah, that's all going on. I like it. The priorities and what matters the most. That's important.
Starting point is 00:44:12 Can you atop, please then summarize where people can find you, follow you, and promote any of your services? Okay. So people can find me as you'll mention me, maybe YouTube description under this podcast or even on the LinkedIn. So LinkedIn is my main, is my brilliant butter. I'm leaving LinkedIn. And right now I'm trying to expand to make. Facebook and Instagram and specifically Instagram you can find me out there by the same name as same spelling is on my LinkedIn and as I told you a moment a few moments ago so I'm working
Starting point is 00:44:48 on this playbook and even if you are a beginner even if you are a beginner founder first why should not you buy this book if you are expecting templates if you are expecting prompts please do not buy this playbook do not spare those few bucks on this playbook. But if you are serious about personally branding and specifically about converting your content into money, into revenue, so you definitely, this book is going to help you a lot and literally just make your order. I will as always add any links to the show notes and we'll be excited because he raised
Starting point is 00:45:31 our expectations about a playbook. So we'll be looking for it. Okay, Tom, I'll post about this on my LinkedIn. I'll definitely, you will get this book on Gumroad, which is a popular platform. So there will be linked to the playbook even under my name or even on my profile. There will be definitely a dedicated banner for this. And you can definitely buy this book from my featured section. But remember, anyone, if you want to spend little money on this, so if the best price is going
Starting point is 00:46:04 to be dollar 70 the early bed price is going to be dollar 20 or dollar 10 even so please do not waste that opportunity yeah of course and i'll make sure to share and promote it as well thank you so much very last question is there anything i should have asked you at the note or any final message or anything you'd like to leave the audience with before we finish i actually did not think about this but this is going to be very important question for sure tom if i think of it about this. Probably, I would say people these days are behind. A lot of people these days are kind of impressed with the vanity matrix on LinkedIn. A lot of people are getting like big impressions, big followers, but the same people when I talk to them in the DMs, they always struggle with
Starting point is 00:46:56 converting their personal brand into proper stream of revenue. If you are a beginner, if you are starting on this platform, please do not compare yourself to anyone else. Only compare yourself to the person who is starting the same day you are as you. And that is only going to be your competitor. If you have just started with like 50, 60 followers with the only one to two posts and you are comparing yourself to any big person on the platform who is getting a lot of impressions, that will just conversely impact your mind. that will conversely impact your motivation and that will demotivate you towards building your personal brand.
Starting point is 00:47:40 Just be you, definitely rely on AI, but do not let it take over the real you. If you are using AI, use it for saving your time, use it for speeding up your tasks, and use it for refining what you have already written. but yourself should always be reflected in your writing. When people read your post, they should see the real you. It should not be someone hiding behind a few AI words. You are writing like a PhD and you literally do not pass your nursery. So that is not going to help you.
Starting point is 00:48:21 That is literally destroying your personal brand. So my request is even if it is costing you a few likes, be real you. But to be very honest, if you are going to be real you and you are writing the way you speak, you are literally going to hijack the feed. Because these days, right now, as Tom, you also may know, LinkedIn is helping and literally kind of promoting personal stories post. The post that have kind of emotional impact. They start with something that people can relate to. So that is the only hack. you can win on this platform being authentic being real you and i would say that's all from my side it's a great message to finish with firstly i agree with what you said not to compare ourselves to
Starting point is 00:49:13 others because you never know what's other person's story was the background maybe it might not be true at all and maybe just compare yourself to your version yesterday if you improved and secondly agreed with standing out embrace your voice because It sounds obvious, but after all, that's what makes unique and different. So embrace it. Definitely. Embrace it and use it. So that was a great message.
Starting point is 00:49:37 So definitely at the end, it is a personal brand. It sounds obvious, but some people still don't realize it, right? Yeah, I don't know why. So, Atta, I want to say obviously huge thank you, because as I said before, I cannot remember when we connected it's been a long time, and I've been following you since then. I always enjoy your content because I think you do what you say, such as you speak about what you people should practice in order to grow on LinkedIn and improve their presence and I can see it in your content because it's quality, it's valuable. You also share great pictures that as I said before I always enjoy. I'm very happy that we made it. It was great to meet you,
Starting point is 00:50:20 at least to speak virtually over the screen, not just in the chat. So thank you so much. I really enjoyed it. I wish you obviously success not only on LinkedIn, but even with the playbook. We'll be excited when it's out and thank you once again and we'll be wishing you all the best.
