Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, welcome back to another episode of the Real Foodology Podcast. I am your host, Courtney Swan. This is part two of my two-part series that I have with Mary Darnell. So if you're listening and you have not listened to part one yet, go back and listen to part one and then come back and listen to this one. Hope you enjoy. Did you know that most cookware and appliances are made with forever chemicals? Yes, that means your nonstick pans, your air fryers, your waffle makers, your blender could possibly have PFAS. And yes, even our beloved crockpots and pressure cookers. I have actually been talking about this for so long. Back in 2006, my mom came to my dorm room and made me get rid of all my nonstick pans because she was concerned about
Starting point is 00:00:45 me being exposed to something called Teflon. Teflon is a coating that is used on nonstick pans and a lot of these appliances that I just named. So I've avoided Teflon, nonstick, PFA coated appliances, pots and pans, you name it, for a very long time. And the only option for a very long time was just stainless steel pots and pans. So I was really excited when a company like our place came out because they started creating really beautiful cookware and appliances that are like pieces of art. Every appliance that I have from our place, I legit want to store it on the counter. And I'm the type of person that does not want anything on my counter. Cause I like it to look really just clean and minimal. But I'm so obsessed with all the
Starting point is 00:01:28 ArtPlace products that I have so many of them displayed on my counter because they are legit pieces of art. ArtPlace is a mission-driven and female-founded brand that makes beautiful kitchen products that are healthy and sustainable. All their products are made without PFAS, which are the forever chemicals, and also made without PTFE, which is Teflon. If a company is not outwardly stating that they don't use these chemicals, then if they are using nonstick coating on their appliances, they are absolutely using forever chemicals. And there's been increasing global scrutiny for their impact on the environment and our health. And recognizing this impact, the EU plans to prohibit PFAS by 2025. Our place has always been PFAS free and
Starting point is 00:02:06 they offer durable toxin-free ceramic coatings, ensuring a healthy, safe cooking experience. And let me tell you, you guys, they are changing the game with non-toxic appliances. They have a blender, they have an air fryer, they have a crock pot, not to mention their amazing always pan. They have a perfect pot pot which is just the perfect size for soups and they also just came out with a cast iron that I'm loving as well and I more recently replaced all of the bowls and plates in my kitchen because I really needed an upgrade my other ones were so old so I got some from our place and they are so beautiful the ceramics are beautiful the colors are amazing.
Starting point is 00:02:45 Like I said, everything is like a piece of art. If you want to try any of the products from our place, go to fromourplace.com and enter my code realfoodology at checkout to receive 10% off sitewide. That's fromourplace.com, code realfoodology. And I also want to say this too, for people listening, I feel like, um, for people that don't have an understanding of parasites, it sounds really creepy and scary and gross. And it is, but also like they're way more common than I think people realize. And it's not as like, Oh my God, you have a parasite. Like,
Starting point is 00:05:17 you know what I, do you know what I mean? Like, I just feel like everyone's like, ah, and I'm like, I mean, it's a big deal. You want to get it out, but it's not like life or death kind of thing in the sense of like, don't freak out. Just do the protocol and you'll be fine. Yeah. Our bodies are full of bugs. We have more bacteria, more bugs than we do anything else. So it's like they become these symbiotic creatures I would say, I can't even say nine out of 10, because probably
Starting point is 00:05:45 99 out of 100 Americans have more than they should, you know, and it could be in a form of a worm. I mean, there's all different kinds. And you get them from everything. People are like, I don't eat meat. I can't get parasites. You know, you get them from your feet from walking on bare earth. You get them from your pets. If you have a pet, you have a parasite. There's no, no way around it. Um, I mean, I have a dog right next to me, you know, you have a pet, you have a parasite. Um, you can get them from literally breathing air, um, pinworms, um, their, their eggs are so tiny, they're airborne. You can breathe them in and then they get in your body. And like I said, if there's something for them to, most the time, they just pass on through, you know, it's like no problem. But if there's something for them to munch on, if you got some undigested food or leaky gut or heavy metals or
Starting point is 00:06:33 whatever's going on, they're going to hang out. So they're going to stick around. Um, and then you'll get them from vegetables, sushi, raw meat, cooked meat. I mean, there are parasites that are resistant to even being cooked, you know, get them from pork is huge. Um, most of the American pork situation is not so great. And a lot of the bugs are resistant to even heat. So even if the pork is cooked, but it's undercooked pork, it's like you're guaranteed to grab something from that. But yeah. Um, if you stare at fish, raw sushi long enough, you'll start seeing things move. This is why I don't eat sushi. I read about this a couple of years ago and I was like, you know what? It's just not worth it to me. There, there are some people, I have some friends
Starting point is 00:07:15 that love sushi so much that they're like willing to take the risk. I w I won't do it anymore just because there's too much of a risk for parasites. And also, I will say this too, this is an argument for if you eat pork, I mean, I would say this for every meat, but especially for pork, this is why eating organic pasture-raised is so important, because they're not going to be as rampant with the parasites. They aren't because they're not sick. Exactly. And when they're loaded with heavy metals and toxins they come in and pork is
Starting point is 00:07:46 like a pig is like the only animal that like doesn't sweat it locks in all of its toxins it doesn't have the same yeah and that's why like back in the olden days jews you know wouldn't eat them because they considered them like filthy animals because they couldn't sweat they couldn't you know they couldn't detox you know it's like they couldn't get the stuff out. So what you feed that animal is, I mean, if it's eating glyphosate, corn, and it's sick, and, you know, I think we have a little bit too far into that. I know. So bad. So pasture-raised, heritage, know where you're getting it from.
Starting point is 00:08:19 I think that's huge. I buy from a butcher. We know what farm it's from. It's like, yeah, that's not something. It's like if I'm going to enjoy some bacon once in a while it's going to be from you know a good place um so what so all kinds of food whether it's raw vegetables cooked vegetables you can breathe it in swimming in lakes and streams you get from that you can also get it from your drink your municipal drinking water if you're drinking tap water, you have parasites.
Starting point is 00:08:47 Birds crap in those tanks. I didn't even think about that. They're legit. All the time. And once in a blue moon, they test the water and they'll be like, oh, we've got high amounts of E. coli. Boil water alert. Dude, if you tested that every day, you would have a boil water alert. Because birds crap in those tanks.
Starting point is 00:09:02 And they have worms. Get a water filter. And then it goes filter into your water a good water filter yeah like a berkey not yeah like not like something that like not a brita filtered down to the yeah not nothing with granule carbon i'm not a huge fan of berkeys either but oh you're not wait tell me more Okay, so only because they're just really prone to mold and bacteria just by design. Don't worry about that, too. If you are constantly cleaning your burpee, like if you go out of town for two days, you have to take the filters out, you have to put them in the fridge, otherwise they're going to start growing mold. If you have houseplants, like you have houseplants behind you, if it's in a room with houseplants, there is mold in your houseplant dirt and fungus, and it's just blowing around in the air.
Starting point is 00:09:49 If you have an air doctor going, it's grabbing stuff, it's blowing everywhere. It ends up in your tank, and then it breathes. And I've had so many clients that literally, they're like, oh, I have a really good water filter. I have a Berkey. And then we tested them, and they had all this fungi and all this mold issues. And then I was like, well, let's just put you on distilled water or reverse osmosis water just for a couple of weeks and see if some of the stuff clears up. And it
Starting point is 00:10:11 did. So I was like, dang. And they were like, we drink tons of water, you know? And I'm like, how often are you cleaning it? Maybe run ozone in it. And it just gets to the point, it's just too high maintenance. It's not that, you know, just too high maintenance and people don't do the maintenance. How do you feel about that? There's another one called, I'm going to mess this up. I know actually Tyler Jean has one of these, Aqua. What's it called? I have one.
Starting point is 00:10:33 You do. Do you recommend those? I do. It's reverse osmosis. Okay. And I've tested, so I've taken like even like a TDS meter and tested the water before and after. So before, like our water is very loaded with arsenic, all kinds of crap in Arizona. It tested pesticides. It tested a 900
Starting point is 00:10:53 TDS before it was clean. And after it was like a three, like, so it literally took everything out of it. And when I poured, I did the Coke trick when I poured the Coca-Cola in there and it came out clear and clean, like with zero T like almost no TDS. I was like, dang, that's legit. If you poured that into a Berkey, it's going to come out brown. You know, it's not. I heard it doesn't with the Berkey, but I haven't tested it out because I didn't want to get Coke in my filter. I know. Right.
Starting point is 00:11:20 Because then you're having like pesticides and stuff. Yeah, I did it. I did it right before I changed mine out. So I was thinking the same thing. I was like, I don't want everything running through there after that. But, I mean, for me, the Berkey was more of, like, I had too many clients that had them, and I don't want a dog company. It's, like, it really comes down to maintenance. No, it's interesting.
Starting point is 00:11:39 Yeah. It really comes down to maintenance, and it becomes, it's sitting at room temperature. Things aren't constantly flowing, so it has a tendency that's why aqua true has people complain about the small tank well the reason they do a small tank is because they want water to constantly moving through it if it had a large tank and it had a large reservoir then water would be sitting still for too long and it would start to harbor bacteria and stuff like that so if things are moving you don't harbor um so yeah i love that especially for people that don't know if they're permanently going to be somewhere and they want something to sit on the countertop um it's good if you want
Starting point is 00:12:15 something that's plumbed like if you're like i'm gonna live here i can drill a hole um i use something called a multi-peer because their nsf certifications have always been the best out of every other filter on the market and i'm always like multi-peer data yeah I'm always looking at data um so I'm putting one of those in my because I'm doing a kitchen model right now remodel right now so I'm going to have them two spouts plump and it's going to go to my fridge filter it's going to go through my fridge I don't have a fridge filter it's going to go through my fridge that way and it's going to make my ice so that everything's filtered in the whole entire kitchen. So I just put two in, but, um, but yeah, so those two have been my favorite and I felt the best
Starting point is 00:12:54 drinking the water. Like I'm really quick on like, if something, you know, doesn't make me feel good, I catch on really quickly if I'm drinking water. It was contaminated. Yeah. Yeah, totally. I know. I feel like that's so sensitive. Do you want to hear the biggest discovery of our time for promoting healthy aging? Of course you do, because all of us are concerned about aging. There is a class of ingredients called senolytics that were discovered less than 10 years ago,
Starting point is 00:13:20 and they are being called the biggest discovery of our time for promoting healthy aging and enhancing your physical prime. Now, when I'm talking about aging here, I'm not just talking about on a superficial level, wrinkles and saggy skin. I'm talking about energy, joint pain, your ability to show up for your life, cognitive function. I'm talking about the real effects of cellular aging on the body and what it does to our body as we age. Now, as we age, everyone accumulates something called senescent cells in their body. They cause symptoms of aging, such as aches and discomfort, slow workout recoveries, sluggish
Starting point is 00:13:55 mental and physical energy associated with that middle age feeling. They're also known as zombie cells. They're old and worn out and not serving a useful function for our health anymore, but they're taking up space and nutrients from our healthy cells. Much like pruning the yellowing and dead leaves off of a plant, Qualia Synolytic removes those worn out senescent cells to allow for the rest of them to thrive in the body. And you just take these supplements two days a month. That's right.
Starting point is 00:14:20 Just two days a month. Qualia Synolytic is an amazing product that helps to remove these senescent cells. And if you want to hear more about the product and more about these senescent cells that affect aging, go back to the episode that I did with Dr. Greg Kelly of Neurohacker. So you can dive more into the details of all of it. But the formula that I'm talking about, Qualia Synalytic is non-GMO, it's vegan, it's gluten-free, and the ingredients are meant to complement one another, factoring in the combined effect of all the ingredients together. If for some reason you don't like the product, you're not feeling the effects of it, it also has a 100-day
Starting point is 00:14:52 money-back guarantee. If you want to resist aging at the cellular level, try Qualia Synalytic. Organifi now has kid stuff. They just released two kid products. One is called Easy Greens and it's a refreshing green apple juice where kids will never know that it's packed with veggies. And the other one is called Protect. It's a delicious wild berry punch like the Kool-Aid that we used to have as a kid, but without any sugar. This is really exciting. And if you've listened to the podcast for a while, you know that I'm a huge fan of Organifi and
Starting point is 00:15:43 most specifically because every single product that they make is glyphosate residue free. So you know that you're going to be able to give these powders to your kids and know that they will be able to consume them safely without any glyphosate in it. So let's break down each one. The Easy Greens is a nourishing and delicious blend of superfoods and veggies that provides essential nutrients, probiotics, and digestive enzymes to bring balance to kids' growing bodies without fillers, additives, or junk. It helps to fill in nutritional gaps, aids in growth and development, supports digestive health, has a rich micronutrient profile, and includes digestive enzymes. This would be a great way to sneak in greens for your little one without them actually knowing that it's healthy for them.
Starting point is 00:16:21 And the second one, which is the wild berry punch similar to Kool-Aid is called Protect. And it is to support your child's daily immune health with food derived nutrients that work to strengthen their body's first line of defense. I know just through girlfriends of mine that have children that when your kids are going to school, going to daycare, they're coming home sick a lot more often just because they're getting exposed to different kids and different viruses when they're out in the world playing with kids so this would be a great way to help to support your little one's immune health it's organic and it's also made with real whole food ingredients it has a delicious berry taste and it's low sugar and it's gentle enough for kids to take every single day and i really love the ingredients in this one it's orange and acerol
Starting point is 00:17:01 cherry which is a powerful source of vitamin c and antioxidants, astragalus, elderberry, and propolis. These are all really great for overall immune health. If you want to try the products that I talked about today or any of the Organifi products, go to Organifi.com slash RealFoodology and use code RealFoodology for 20% off. Again, that's Organifi. It's O-R-G-A-N-I-F-I dot com slash realfoodology. Okay, so parasites. So now we understand where we can find them. Again, I want to keep hammering this in because I just feel like people get so freaked out. I don't want everyone to feel like now you can't eat sushi and you're scared to swim places. It's just a part of being a human. Like we just, we live with bugs and parasites and everything else. And it's all about the awareness and understanding, um, how to pinpoint
Starting point is 00:17:54 those signs and symptoms of when you have one that's affecting your health and what you can do about it. So what are some of the symptoms that people might experience when they have a parasite? People are going to freak out because it's so big. So migraines, anything that toxicity does. So migraines, headaches, brain fog, joint pain, joint pain is huge. I've had people that legit were diagnosed with fibromyalgia and other, you know, joint quote unquote diseases that once they started parasite cleansing it completely, I can't say reversed it because it was a misdiagnosis, right? Like they had so much pain and so much inflammation that they got diagnosed with something that it went away. Um, so, um, that's huge rashes of all kinds.
Starting point is 00:18:37 Um, all so much histamine response, um, mast cell activation is triggered typically from mold or parasites or both. Um, so people that have mast cell activation and CAS, um, which could be dizziness, vertigo, um, chronic hives, rashes, you know, sneezing, like all of the histamine stuff. And then of course they can't eat any of the high histamine foods because of that. But all of that went away for me. I used to have that. Um, so gosh, what else? Teeth grinding is huge. Oh, sure. Yeah. Teeth grinding, low belly bloat. Um, you can be bloated in weird places, like a high belly bloat, just depending on where the parasites are. Um, and then, um, anal itching
Starting point is 00:19:18 is a telltale sign. You have an itchy bum, like that's huge for for kids if they say they go to bed at night and say my bum itches like my daughter did one time and then of course i have a bioenergetic testing machine i can test her right out i'm like oh my gosh it's tapeworm yuck are those the ones you want to nip in the bud right away you know it's like you want to nip those in the bud um but anal itching and teeth grinding are huge um for but like, it's literally every symptom of the book because toxins cause all of the symptoms and, um, and specific parasites like the anal itching, teeth grinding, weird moving skin rashes and eczema and things like that. Um, I feel like insatiable hunger can be connected to that as well. That and, um, or never hungry, oh yeah it's like they're always bloated they're not hungry
Starting point is 00:20:08 like just weird um sexual cravings in general like crazy cravings because you could like i said you can eat the healthiest food they're going to eat the nutrients and then they're going to leave toxins as a byproduct yeah um so night waking like waking up zinging at like 2am, 3am, 4am, like just not being able to sleep, um, itching in different places. You probably have more. I feel like you have more things that I'm missing. Like I see it in your eyes. No, I was just trying to think of, um, cause I actually recently, I was actually, I was trying to remember the symptoms I had. Cause you know, what's interesting. I just recently had a parasite and I'm blanking on what it was. I should have pulled up the email before I had a parasite and E. coli at the same time. And I was like, wow. Okay. Um, and I had,
Starting point is 00:20:55 I mean, my poor listeners is going to be TMI, but I, nothing is TMI to me. I was going back and forth between having diarrhea and being constipated. And then I was so nauseous and then like couldn't really eat. Um, and those were kind of, yeah, I guess those were like my main things. It was really like, I was like something, something is happening down here and I couldn't really pinpoint it. And then that's when I was like, okay, I've got, cause at first it was, you know, the first couple of days and I was like, oh, I don't know, like whatever. I was just in Colorado.
Starting point is 00:21:28 And then I finally went and got a stool test done and they were basically like, wow, you have E. coli. I was like, what? And some sort of parasite. And you know what I was doing was, um, mimosa pudica, which really helped me. They also put me on flagel, which I know is like really intense, but it was E. coli and I didn't want to mess around with it. Um, and I ended up having to go on an antibiotic, which I was really bummed about, but again, E. coli and I didn't want to mess around with it. Um, and I ended up having to go on an antibiotic, which I was really bummed about, but again, E. coli, you don't want to mess with that. Um, but yeah, it was interesting. Um, so what are, what are tests that people can take when they suspect they might have a parasite or first and foremost, I guess, um, what kind of doctor would you look for to test for that? Because I feel like a lot of people would go to their like conventional doctor and the doctor's not going to have any idea.
Starting point is 00:22:10 They won't test you. They won't even, they won't even run a test. Very few stool analysis. So, you know, there's a couple comprehensive stool analysis like Genest or Genova has one. None of them are very good at picking them up. Honestly, there is like a test that I had like some NBA player wife get and where they like take the stool and they literally like grow, let things grow. Like, Oh, like it was really expensive. Yeah. It was a really expensive test
Starting point is 00:22:37 and it found some of the ones that she had, but not even all of them. And I can't remember what that test was, but like the everyday human doesn't get that test. Cause it's like $1,200 or something crazy. I was like, I've never even heard of that. She's like, Oh yeah, they take it and spread it out and put it in them and it grows. And then they see what grows and they see if there's any, and I was like, wow, I've never even heard of that. Um, but most pretty sick and desperate to want to do that. Yeah. But the thing is, if you assume that you're going to have parasites, it's like it's cheap enough and non-invasive enough to just do little cleanses every so often just to keep diagnose. Okay. Um, because the United States says that for one, you have to be a doctor and for two, um, you have to use specific types of testing that are considered approved for diagnosis. Okay. Um, how bioenergetic testing works is it is
Starting point is 00:23:38 matching the frequencies in your body. So hold on to two copper probes and it's running frequencies through your body. And whenever it finds resonance, meaning we found a match that is there. Okay. So if I see like my daughter is itching her bum and I test her and it says she has tapeworm and an amoeba and a protozoa or whatever, those are there because you can't match something that doesn't exist basically. So in every other country in the world, this is what they use. And this is what doctors use. You go to the doctor's office. I had somebody who came and saw me from Kenya. It just, oh yeah, they use this at my naturopath doctors in Kenya. And that's, this is what they use to diagnose and treat everything. It's like in the United States, you can't, you know? So as a practitioner, all I
Starting point is 00:24:16 could see was that I could see those things and I'd say, might be a good idea if we did a little para cleansing, you know, and then I would test them later and then they're not there, you know. And the goal is not to eradicate everything because if you have some of those things, they might need to be there. But it's the opening of the detox pathways first. I always tell people, it's like, you know, it doesn't have to be a scary thing. open your detox pathways and your body can drain those toxins and get rid of the things that are causing them to overgrow, then your body's fixing the problem. And then you're just cleaning house. So like I do a parasite cleanse every full moon, not every full moon, but most full moons, because naturally our bodies have less serotonin and melatonin during a full moon, just for
Starting point is 00:25:03 whatever reason that we're designed, we have less melatonin and less serotonin and melatonin during a full moon just for whatever reason that we're designed. We have less melatonin and less serotonin. They actually eat our melatonin and serotonin. So they make us depressed and that's why we can't sleep well. They eat those hormones as like, yeah, lunch. So think about that. People are like, they're being
Starting point is 00:25:19 put on antidepressants and sleep pills because they have parasites. You know? And that's not addressing a root have parasites, you know, like, and that's not addressing a root cause. How many people are like, I can't sleep. Yeah. I can't sleep. And I'm sad all the time. And it's something's chemically wrong. Yeah. Something's chemically wrong. Those parasites are eating them up. So when those during full moon, when those things are low, the parasites will actually go to the gut to feed. So that's the best time to kill them is because I give people the mimosa pudka,
Starting point is 00:25:48 which is, we call it pair one. It actually snags them. So it doesn't actually kill them. It almost like strangles them and drags them out, okay? So, and then there's another product that actually kills things and will kill things in other places than just the intestines, like full body.
Starting point is 00:26:06 Because we get them, they go everywhere, you know. And then that mimosa pudica will just drag them out. And then I give them something that's called a binder. And that sucks up the toxins. Because like I said, when a parasite dies, it explodes, right? And then there's all those toxins left behind. So it grabs out the toxins. And then you take something to keep the bowels flushing, you know.
Starting point is 00:26:27 So it's like a full kind of system and it works, you know, you buy one kit, but then it works for like, you know, seven times. You know, it's not like, oh, you have this for three days and it's over. You can share it with a partner or something like that and do it a couple times together. But the whole point is just to do a little light housekeeping three days over full moon once a month and you're just you know cleansing these critters out and what people see in the toilet they freak out because they're like how is that in me because you get these there's a room a worm called the rope worm and it's the longest grossest thing and people are like did i eat something and it grew this big a ropeworm is actually a symbiotic creature of so we have our intestines and they you know they span like the
Starting point is 00:27:10 lengths of tennis courts right so biofilms are filled are these weird slut i call it like slug slime um that happen over time from mold exposure from parasites all these stuff like they shoot out the slime and it coats the intestines. And things hide in there. So parasites hide in there. Lime spirit keeps hiding in there. Mold hides in there. And then anytime you get nervous or upset or on edge, they start procreating or they start reproducing at this high rate because they think their host is dying. It's this crazy phenomenon.
Starting point is 00:27:50 So these biofilms, like when you have the perfect amount of like yeast and bacteria, has become this thing called ropeworm. It's like a symbiotic creature that creates like a head and a tail. It's disgusting. So it's really the shed. It's like a snake shedding from the inside. So when these ropeworms come out, they can be like this set six seven inches long like big long thick things and really it's never started as a worm it was the biofilms with all these yeast and organisms that became like this creature you know so um that is wild these these
Starting point is 00:28:20 get drug out of the body and they are full of limeme spherocates. Like my Lyme disease didn't go away until I did like five parasite cleanses. And I had been trying to kill it for years. Like, and like every time I tried to kill it, it was like, I had such a mass cell reaction that like, I literally, I felt like I was on my deathbed every time I tried to kill it. I'm like, I can't kill it. Maybe I just have to live with Lyme forever. Nothing's working.
Starting point is 00:28:42 And then I started, I was like, well, I always have parasites. Let's just go, let's just do more parasite cleansing. And then I tested myself Lyme free for six months now. Like I've done like maybe like nine or 10, you know? So over the past two years now I have no Lyme, no brain fog, tons of energy, no lag. I mean, I, I used to be addicted to coffee cause I just needed it to just feel like I was alive. And then like, now I'm like, now if I drink it, I'm like, oh, my gosh, I'm like high, you know? Yeah. So, yeah, those spirit kits, those lime spirit kits will live in that rope worm.
Starting point is 00:29:14 So until you get it out, like, it's, you know, they just multiply. So especially if you're on EMF, which is a whole other beast that we could talk about another time. But, yeah, so you'll see crazy things in the toilet come out. And the only thing you should be happy is you shouldn't be like, oh my gosh, I had that in me. Did it start little and it grew big and it's eating me up? And it's like, no, it's like this weird shedding of like this, you know, it's called ropeworm. Dr. Clinghart explains exactly that it's a symbiotic creature, blah, blah, blah. But they come out and you feel so good because all of a sudden you are less magnetic.
Starting point is 00:29:43 You have less mold in your body. You have less breeding ground for all these things sudden you are less magnetic you have less mold in your body you have less breeding ground for all these things that make you sick you have less bloat you're bloated at first because everything kind of cups up you probably knew that taking that um you bloated at first but then after that goes away you're less bloated you're less hungry you're less everything you know it's like a lot of the cravings go away and then you're like when's the next people are always like can i do this longer when's the next time can I do this because they like feel good after a profession yeah I have professional athletes that do it and they'll be like oh my gosh I have less joint pain I feel good I have more energy can I do this again for some
Starting point is 00:30:15 reason men it's so much easier for men to parasite cleanse like they don't have like any side effects and like women are like oh my gosh it's so hard and you know it's like but it's just funny how that is it's like but um yeah so I have all walks of life that but they have to open their detox pathways first um they have to work on all of those things um I created like a little learning module class that I sell inexpensively just walks people through like it has a questionnaire are you getting this many hours of sleep are you pooping regularly are you this are you that like and you go through and you're like no yes no yes no yes and then it gives you like all these tips on things that you can do to work on it until that is all like yes yes yes yes i'm good on all those things and then it has like a little detox calendar where you can like go and make goals and things that you can do during the
Starting point is 00:31:02 day just like simple things that's like editable p PDF and like all these videos and detox baths and things that you can incorporate, but just really just like the lifestyle of feeling better, you know, because you do those things and your detox pathways are open. You just feel good. And then you're like, bonus, I can do a parasite cleanse on the end. It teaches you how to do the parasite cleanse. And what is that parasite cleanse you're talking about? I know I have the Para One, but what's the brand that makes that stuff?
Starting point is 00:31:26 Cellcor. Cellcor. Okay. Cause I'm going to put all this in the show notes for people. And I want to, um, I also want to link that, um, spreadsheet that you were talking about, the little checklist and want to give people a bunch of different stuff to help them kind of, uh, navigate all of this, you know? Cause I also feel like, yeah, it's, it's a lot, it's a lot to like learn all of this, you know, because I also feel like, yeah, it's, it's a lot. It's a lot to
Starting point is 00:31:46 like learn all of this and start turning, tuning into your body, looking for signs and symptoms. Cause like we were saying earlier, I feel like so many people are moving through the world and don't even realize that they're feeling so sick. And I'm hoping by listening to this, maybe people can start connecting the dots of like, oh yeah, huh. I am pretty bloated all the time, or I have this insatiable hunger or, you know, I have this brain fog and hopefully we can start connecting the dots of like, Oh yeah, huh? I am pretty bloated all the time, or I have this insatiable hunger or, you know, I have this brain fog and hopefully we can start connecting the dots of what's going on. Um, cause I just want everyone, I mean, that's my whole prerogative with this podcast. I just want everyone to feel good in their bodies and have the energy to do the things that they want to do and, and live their lives. Legit. It's a can of worms, no pun
Starting point is 00:32:23 intended. Like it's like like you you start doing those things you start doing all those things you're like my goal is to do a parasite cleanse because i want to get these things out of my body but in the process of like opening the detox pathways drinking water sleeping well you become this like new human that you like never knew that you could be and then the parasite i always say the parasite cleanse is the cherry on the cake like some people people are like, I'm going to get this and I'm going to do it next full moon, which is two weeks from now. And they don't end up doing it for three months because they just start, they're like, oh man, I didn't realize I don't sweat.
Starting point is 00:32:54 I need to work on sweating. And then they start sweating and they feel good. And they're like, well, I can't work out today, but I'm going to do that sweat bath. That's, you know, I got that recipe. I have the ginger powder. I'm going to do that. And then they're like, oh my gosh, it felt so good. And I had the best sleep.
Starting point is 00:33:06 And they start taking magnesium and they're pooping good. And the whole goal is like, feel good. You know, it's like feel the best, like optimal health. And then like, you know, cleaning out the worms. It's just fun. It's just like the bonus. But yeah, and showing your friends, taking pictures and videos. Look what's in the toilet. Oh my gosh. When you share your worms with a friend, they freak out. They're like, do I have worms? I don't know. Do you have worms? Well, what's that kit you oh my gosh when you share your worms with a friend they freak out they're like do i have worms i don't know do you have worms well what's that kit you have don't just go and do it you need to go do all the stuff first you know it just becomes like this fun conversation people start talking about health and like all the things that they're doing that used to be taboo like talking about your poop and enemas and all of those things and getting colonics they're like oh man if i have all those worms up there, maybe I should get some colonics. And then the colonics lady
Starting point is 00:33:46 will go and do colonics after they've done a parasite cleanse. Maybe they didn't clear everything out. And then they, the lady sees all the stuff coming out the lit tube and she's like, Holy crap, look at all this stuff. You're like, yeah, I just killed all that off. Um, but yeah, you know, it's funny that happened to me when I got my colonic, because I got a couple of them when I was dealing with this, like, parasite and E. coli. And there was this, like, almost, like, cloudy white, like, I think she called it biofilm. And she was like, oh, she goes, are you taking mimosa pudica? And I was like, yeah. And she was like, I always know because I can see.
Starting point is 00:34:20 She, like, saw it come out. And I was like, that is so weird. And it drags out everything with it. Like it grabs onto everything. So the seed almost looks when it's wet, it almost looks like a worm, but it's semi see-through. So once it grabs stuff, you'll see these stringy things from within it. And people will be like, they'll poop out the most poop and they'll think it's a worm because it's like brown and long, but like it's stretchy.
Starting point is 00:34:44 And you'll see like all the lines that come out of it and i'm like those are the actual worms it's not like the goo yeah it's like you'll see the things like the strainy things coming out of it and they'll almost look like they're intertwined and i'm like that's the actual worm that's the mimosa that grabs it because the point is that to pull it out of the intestinal lining and then that that binder that you take actually helps heal and seals the gut lining. So it has humic and folic acids in it that draws the glyphosate out and helps knit up those little holes. So it's almost like you're getting like a repair, like all at the same time. Is that in the, the, um, cell core parasite cleanse? I think I want to, I want to do
Starting point is 00:35:23 one of those, even though I feel like I'm in, I just did, but I didn't do the full protocol because like I said, because of the E.coli, they just immediately put me on antibiotics and I was on flagyl and I was taking the Mimosa pudica, but I kind of want to do this whole, like, do you think I should do this like parasite protocol? Uh, yes. Okay. I'm going to do that. Literally. Like I have my whole neighborhood on it because I'm always talking about it. And I was just like, Oh, if it's a full Okay, I'm going to do that. Literally, like I have my whole neighborhood on it because I'm always talking about it. And I was just like, oh, if it's a full moon, I got to get on with my, and it's funny because like most of my friends out here like aren't even into Instagram or anything. And they like downloaded the account just so they could like watch me talk about it.
Starting point is 00:35:56 And they're all like, is it a full moon? Oh my gosh, we got to go. We got to go. It's time to climb. We got to get parasite stuff. Yeah, they're like, and then they're like, should I get Clonix or I need to get an animal bucket. Mary, Mary, what animal bucket can I get do you have those do you sell those i'm like no i don't sell them like yo give me all the information to order on um but my little my
Starting point is 00:36:11 little course has the enema course built into it so it teaches you how to because if anybody's doing parasite cleansing like they need to know how to do an enema i think it's a good thing to know how to do because i always tell people if for any reason you get constipated during the cleanse, you have to stop that day. Like if you don't poop, you have to stop because you don't want to be killing stuff and then not letting it get out of the body. And enema is the perfect emergency. It's like, get it out because you don't want any of those things getting backed up. It's like, I'm going to get it out. But like, I love that kit. So we do the, it's called the para kit now, P-A-R-A. And then we add bowel mover to it because that keeps things going. Um, it also has a little wormwood in it, so it kills a little extra, but,
Starting point is 00:36:52 um, it keeps things moving, but I have all that information and I have like a, um, I have like a video that goes through everything, like a YouTube video and then like all the information on ordering the kit. But will you send me that stuff afterwards and we'll put it in the show notes that way people can find them. Cool. Uh, so before we wrap up, I always like to ask everyone this question. Um, what are your health and non-negotiables? These are things that you do either every single day or maybe on like a weekly basis that help you to really stay, uh, just in check with your health. And there are things that no matter how busy your day is, like you always have to do these things. Oh my gosh. Sunrise. So, um, when I moved to Arizona, I specifically picked out a house that
Starting point is 00:37:35 I could watch a sunrise. And I know that's like high maintenance, but I was like, I've always lived in a forest. Um, so in mold, but watching the sunrise is huge for me. Like, I mean, I miss it like maybe once a week if for some reason I sleep in, but I go outside, I watch the sunrise. I, um, gratitude for me is huge. Um, back when I was in mold and I had Lyme and all that stuff, I became super, super, super, super depressed. And I remember reading the book, um, switch on your brain or who switched off your brain by Caroline leaf. Um, and just really training the brain towards gratitude, because if you think on anything that's chaos, fear, um, chaos or fear
Starting point is 00:38:17 based, you can let off your brain creates up to, I think it's 1400 chemicals that can actually lead to disease. It can, it can alter up to 30 hormones. So just thinking on gratitude in the morning, what you're grateful for, it, it lights up pathways that like make you happy. Um, and keep, keep your brain from going down, you know, the, the garbage dump that's going to create literally like all of those toxins that make you sick. So gratitude in the morning, sunrise in the morning, water in the morning. Those are my non-negotiables like on a daily basis. But my nighttime non-negotiables are my nighttime routine with my CBD and my magnesium. It's like literally if I don't drink that, like I'm not going to get my good sleep and I'm going to feel like crap the next day.
Starting point is 00:39:01 So like I always do. I call it my nighttime drink. I take my nighttime drink before bed. But yeah, those are kind of my non-negotiables. I have a lot of other things that I do, but like, those are like my absolutely have tos. Yeah. I love those. I think there's so much conversation around a morning routine and I actually believe the nighttime routine is more important because that's, what's going to set you up for success for sleep. A hundred percent. Like if I literally, I'll be like, oh my gosh, it'll be like 10 o'clock.
Starting point is 00:39:31 I'm laying in bed and I'm like, I didn't drink my nighttime drink. Like I'm not, I might night wake. I might not get sleep. I might not be able to poop tomorrow morning. Like this is bad. Like I'll get up, I'll go downstairs and I'll make it. Because it's like, I know what the repercussions of like not doing that are going to be. And I don't drink hot coffee in the morning. So like if I can't poop, my whole day is ruined.
Starting point is 00:39:48 Like it's terrible. You got to get it out. Yeah, get it out. It's better out than in. Yes, that's for dang sure. Well, this has been so amazing. I'm so glad that we connected and I got to bring you on today. For everyone listening, where can they find you?
Starting point is 00:40:06 HealingCaveL lady.com. Um, I'm on, I'm at healing cave lady on Instagram and my YouTube channel channel is also healing cave lady. So it's really easy to find. Yeah. Across the board. And we'll add all those to the show notes so everyone can find you. But thank you so much, Mary. This was so fun.
Starting point is 00:40:21 Thank you for having me. I love it. Yeah. Anytime. We'll have to do another topic next time. I'm let's do it. Yeah. I want to do. Thank you for having me. I love it.
