On today's episode of The Real Foodology Podcast. As always,
I'm your host, Courtney Swan. And today's episode, I sit down with Todd Shipman.
This episode is an all-extensive 101 on EMF exposures, what you can do about it,
what EMFs are, how they're affecting the body, signs and symptoms that you may be
experiencing some sort of toxicity from EMFs. And before you
press pause and decide you're not going to listen to this anymore, this is not an episode that's
going to scare you. In fact, I loved the direction that this episode went because Todd instills a lot
of hope in us. And I mean, quite frankly, made me feel a lot better about EMFs and about the
different things that we can do about our exposure. So this is not about living in fear and feeling like you have to hide under
a rock and unplug your Wi-Fi and never live and participate in the modern world. Because I mean,
I wouldn't be able to have this podcast without accessibility to Wi-Fi and all the technology
that I use to get this podcast out to you every week. So, you know, this is more about just learning how to live in
the modern world and just being mindful of the different things that we're being exposed to and
the different various ways that we can at least mitigate and neutralize those exposures a little
bit. So this was a really great episode. I think you guys are going to love it. I left feeling
super empowered and hopeful. We talk a lot about circadian rhythm towards the end too, which I just
thought was so fascinating. And I think not enough people are talking about it and
the importance of it for our overall health. So I think you're really going to enjoy this episode.
Thank you so much for listening. If you could take a moment to leave a five-star rating and a review,
it would mean so much to me. It really helps the show. It helps the show grow and to get into more
ears. And I just really appreciate the support. And if you guys want to post about it on Instagram,
please tag me at realfoodology. And if you want to go follow the new Instagram page at
realfoodologypodcast, give it a follow. I'm posting clips there that you're not going to
find anywhere else. And I just want to say thank you so much for the support. I appreciate you so
much. I wish I could hug all of you guys.
Thank you so much.
Enjoy the episode.

Todd, I'm so excited to have you on the podcast. We were talking a little bit before we started recording and I was telling you just how my thoughts about EMFs and that I wanted this to
be a really extensive episode, kind of like a 101 on EMFs and exposures and how we can protect ourselves,
but also a really important part of your message, which is also mine. And so we're very much in
alignment with this is learning how to live in the modern world without living in fear,
but also doing the necessary things and the accessible and the easy things that we can do
to protect ourselves, but not just like, you know, going throughout the world being in fear.
Because I mean, you and I wouldn't be able
to be recording this podcast right now
if we were just completely freaking out about EMFs, you know?
So it's unfortunately just something
that we have to deal with living in this modern world.
And so I want to dive into all of that.
But I just want to say, first of all,
thank you so much for coming on.
I'm stoked about this episode.
Yeah, thanks, Corey.
I'm really excited as well.
Yeah. So for my listeners that do not understand what an EMF is, can we dive into that first?
What are EMFs and why should we be concerned?
Sure. What I'd like to start out with is I'll try to keep this as surface level as possible,
just so people understand it. We can go into the high science stuff, but one thing I like to do is
keep it as relatable so that everyone can utilize it also um just to start with that i mean we go much deeper with things but you know emfs
electronic magnetic like fields or electronic magnetic frequencies um they are naturally
occurring and there are some that are naturally occurring and then there's um non-native emfs and
i would like to also preface with i think when we're talking about is going to be the non-native EMFs. And I would like to also preface with, I think what we're talking about is going
to be the non-native EMFs. So, I mean, you know, the earth magnetic field, it's EMFs, but it's a
point of it's natural and it's not overbearing or overwhelming to the rest of our body and our
bioenergy field. So EMFs come off from pretty much anything
with like electronics, our cell phones,
you know, anything, of course the wifi,
which is probably most people's trigger
is like having the EMF exposure like at nighttime.
If you have a wifi router,
or if you live like in a condo or an apartment
or something and like your neighbor has theirs,
you never know where theirs are.
And that's kind of where people,
you know,
can have some major issues,
but we're spending all day AirPods,
Apple watch.
Like I am just,
I swore ring.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah,
exactly.
I mean,
then,
you know,
you have air job,
like all these things that are putting out Wi-Fi. But again, like the focus really is, is we would not be able to have these technologies, these amenities, these luxuries without it. So it's kind of there. And I block the heck out of it with Faraday cages, but then you're not using it. And you can, you know, put your phone on airplane
mode and all that whatnot. And there's, there's different ways that you, you know, in terms of
like, how do you want to live with it? Or do you want to use it? Because there are, there's two
sides to be. And I also want to say again, it's like some people don't have the luxury.
If they have a lot of health challenges, then I understand that they're going to want the
Faraday cage.
They're going to want the EMF blocking clothing because they have other illnesses.
And I think our bodies are so resilient.
But if you, for example, I live half a year in the Florida panhandle and, you know, there are people there that are suffering from crazy illnesses that you don't even think about.
But it's also like they would be fine if they moved somewhere else.
When they come back now, they have a moldy home and excessive EMF from the 5G towers from the tsunami evacuation communication system that's set up there.
So it's not even for our
own use. It's for them. But like, you know, so now you have EMS and you have mold that are
attacking us. So if our body can handle EMS, cause not everyone feels EMS, but I think if you do feel
them, it's kind of because you also have other like Lyme disease or mold toxicity or something
that is bearing down on your mitochondrial like efficiency.
And then the EMFs are just another weight on there, you know? And so there are people definitely
who have like significant EMF sensitivity, and then they're going to want to probably use the
Faraday cages and, and exist as far away from EMFs as possible. But kind of like what we were talking about prior, it's like,
I don't, you can live with it, you know, and enjoy everything at the same time if you take
the proper steps. Yeah. You actually, you brought up a really good point that I haven't heard a lot
of other people talk about when we're talking about this subject, which is a really great point. If somebody is already really dealing with some chronic health issues, like an autoimmune or a
Lyme disease or a mold exposure, and their body is already on the defense and struggling to deal
with that. And then on top of that, you add on all the EMF stress, of course, it's going to be
so much harder on their body. And that's a really great point. I actually had never thought about
that before. And that's where I think maybe something like,
well, obviously using the Lila Quantum, but then also adding in something like Urolithin A,
which is a mitochondrial, it's basically like food for the mitochondria and helps the-
Big fan of that.
Yeah. I actually take it every day for a multitude of reasons, but that was a really good point.
I just love the message so much because I think when this conversation has started, a lot of people are like, oh, you know,
you're fear mongering and we don't want to live in fear. And it's this, it's EMFs are interesting
because it's kind of this almost like this invisible, I don't want to call it attack,
but like maybe for some people it kind of can be an attack on the body.
It's a stressor. It's a stressor.
Stressor. Yes.
It for sure is a stressor regardless. It's just how resilient is our body. And some people,
you've got all these other, your mitochondria, basically it's a pie chart of energy, right?
What can I balance today? I have a budget. And it's like, okay, well, I got a little bit of this
I can take care of. Bad sleep, okay, we can go here. Stress from here, all these things. And
then all of a sudden you throw in this invisible thing pounding on you and your body's like, all right, I'm done for the day. Or you have all this other stuff
going on and it can handle it. But it's a stressor. So let's say that somebody is listening
and they're trying to figure out if maybe EMFs are having an effect on their body,
what would be some of the signs and symptoms that somebody's struggling with EMF? Yeah. So that's a broad spectrum of issues that people will have. And it's being very mindful of,
first off, what's in your surroundings that are changing this. So the typical things would be,
of course, it's like a headache, nausea, whether you have like random, almost like arthritis
feelings can happen uh from
inflammation because you gotta think of pretty much uh and this is why it could be like different
for you courtney than it could be for me because it's like what is your stress response for your
body so for me it's inflammation uh whether i consumed something or did something too much
that my body's stressed and my mitochondria my my cortisol levels are up, things that EMS are going to do our body. That's what you want to be aware of. For a lot of people,
it's, I mean, the easiest way I think to check really is like your, well, I said easiest, but
the most concrete way to check is like your heart rate variability, your HRV. Because that is always,
that's to me, I look at that for stress how is
my body doing right so on your aura ring it says hey your readiness today is this ah but it's
because your hrv is up it's great but if it's bad then today is the day you know take it take an off
day from working out and so uh ems are going to lower your hrv um so hrv causes tiredness well
it doesn't cause tiredness, sorry,
but it's a symptom of, you know,
you have the tiredness because your body is tired
and it's exhausted, it's not recovered.
Really bad sleep, like tossing and turning can be there.
For me, it is significantly like increased heart rate
out of nowhere.
Unjustified anxiety can be something for me.
So like if my throat starts to kind of get tight, um, swallowing or something, it's like, well,
that's weird. Like I just walked into this room. Um, I, I, I mean, many years ago I could
legitimately, uh, point out where wifi routers were in rooms because i could feel it um i've
done a lot of things in my life to become more resilient with that but like i used to go to like
you know the little things i to enjoy things i go to like conferences all the biohacking
conferences and whatnot and i couldn't go into the speaking rooms because of all the emfs that
were going on i'd get what felt like vertigo. I'd feel dizzy. Just the heart rate
would go up out of nowhere. And I'm like, man, I was just happy outside. Like my oxytocin is going,
I'm all happy. And then I get in here and all of a sudden it's like, oh, my throat goes in.
So that's what you just want to be mindful of what your body's response is for stress.
Yeah. Yeah. That's a great point. I was reading up a little bit about this too,
and I don't want to scare people. And I also just want
to remind you guys that there's a lot of solutions. So we're starting out with all the effects right
now and then we'll get into it. But I was reading, so lack of sleep, which is something that you
mentioned, reduced brain activity. It can affect sperm and sometimes fetus development and also
plants don't grow apparently sometimes around like heavy EMS and then cardiac stress, which is something
that you mentioned too. And it can also have an effect on the nervous system, which is really
interesting. And again, this is just one of those things that it's important to take note of because
if somebody is really struggling with an area in their life and maybe they've been to a bunch of
different doctors and they've run all the tests in the labs and everything's kind of coming back
as normal and they're trying to figure out what it is, this could be the missing puzzle piece. Yeah. Think of it as like, it's just a stressor.
That's the most basic thing to say. Imagine having an... Now, because with EMFs, we're not
really seeing them. We're not aware as far as like, hey, I can see those waves are coming closer
to me. But think of it as someone screaming in your ear
all day, but you can't hear it also. What is your body going to do? Everything you just said
is pretty much the same. If you just got someone yelling at you all day, being angry, whatever,
but you're also not hearing it, that's the best way I can say it. What is your body's response
going to be? That's kind of what occurs with EMS. It's just an invisible stressor. Yeah. So I saw an Instagram post the other day that was actually
with the company that you work with, with Lila Quantum. And actually my, my good friend, Aggie
did a post with you guys and she was showing, yeah, she's so great. She was showing what
blood cells look like normally under a microscope and
then what they look like when they're exposed to wifi. And then what your, her blood cells
looked like after she had put the like Lila quantum in her, you know, like near her body.
And it looked the same as if the cells had not been exposed to the wifi. Can you explain a little bit more about that? Yeah. So those testing that we do is
called Darkfield Microspacy, and it's not as accessible in the United States as it is everywhere
else. And here in the United States, to even have a license to be able to do it costs like
six figures a year just to have it it so they definitely limit it but what's
going on first off is so again stress the EMF when you're when you're exposed
to stress that we're focusing on EMFs but anything else your blood kind of
clots because it's it's a panic and everything when a stress happens becomes
survival so the blood stops you come as visceral and moving around it's all just
responses so you get what look we call we call money bag or money rolls or coins, where the blood, the platelets
in our cells basically get sticky.
And that is one way that you can show that something in the air and the region is stressing
you out, which is using EMS.
And that's what we did.
So we have, with LeelaQ, there's over 60 double blind
placebo controlled studies with all of this, which are really fascinating to look at. Because even if
you can't tell or feel the difference with the Lila products, like actual feel them because they
are quantum energy, which I know we'll go into, but you can see the results. And these results
are, this is what's cool. It's 100%. So it's not just, Hey, 87% of people saw this. It's a hundred percent of the people. So like,
it's, you know, that's, what's really cool. It's not, Oh, 50% found benefits. It's everyone in
terms of these results. So, um, what, what you do is you test the numbers when you're in a room,
that's no EMFs, it's like a Faraday cage. And then you bring in a Wi-Fi router and you run it,
and then you test your blood again.
And then we bring in a Leela product and leave it for 10 minutes
and test that blood level or the blood analytics again.
And they're back to pre-exposure to EMFs while the EMFs are in there.
So that's kind of what Aggie was showing was the before and afters with,
with it. And so basically like that's,
that goes into pure quantum energy and the benefits of it. So,
I don't want to get too far ahead,
but one thing I do want to talk about,
cause I've used the word quantum energy really fast and just to explain what
quantum energy is,
because I will also acknowledge
that most people look at here quantum and they think Lulu, hippity dippy, whatever it be. And
I was that I was that 10 years ago, I got into quantum energy to actually debunk it.
And I was blown away with the amount of two years of blood testing I did with it that I'm
a true believer because I have experienced and seen it but i want
to again preface that because quantum energy sounds oh gosh that's that's a weird thing but
like quantum energy is a real thing uh 2022's nobel prize uh in physics was awarded to quantum
entanglement which is just a form of quantum energy but like so your audience understands
that quantum energy is basically it's the energy behind the matter at like a subatomic level.
And when you have pure quantum energy, and this is where the benefits come in, it basically purifies and calms and balances the energy.
It doesn't mean it's positive, doesn't mean it's negative by any means, but it's just basically neutralizing everything. So like in a quantum
field, our bioenergy, all of that. So I just want to say that because that's what's happening and
why the EMFs are being basically neutralized is because you're in a field of this like neutralness.
It's not positive or negative. It's just neutral. It's harmonizing everything. So what happens is,
is your blood goes back to how it was before there was a stressor.
And there's tons of benefits, but the benefits are really just reversing you back to a non-stressful environment.
So, for example, like that with the blood, we saw blood clotting.
Before, you had visceral blood and then the EMS blood clotting.
And you bring in the pure quantum energy and you're back to visceral blood.
And this is a hundred percent.
This is a hundred percent of people that are doing this, that we use it again, because
there's double blind placebo studies, but everyone where we had an actual activated
block and device that we're using, they saw the same results.
So in this isn't just for EMS, it's for everything, but we just thought like it wasn't created for
EMS. It's just part of, it's part of nature. It's part of the world is quantum energies out there.
Um, but so just to be clear, these aren't products that were made to neutralize EMS. It's just a,
let's say a side effect or of it, but that's what, that's what it does. So, um,
it, we see like an increase in white blood cell count.
You know, again, so when you're exposed to all these things,
the Leela quantum products,
because there's a difference between other like quantum energy
to like what Leela Q is,
because Leela Q is like pure quantum energy.
It's not forcing it.
It's subtle energy, life force energy in a way,
if people can understand that. So it's not like a. It's subtle energy, life force energy in a way, if people can understand that.
So it's not like a brute force attack on you.
But there's a lot of other benefits to it.
But for EMS, that's kind of what Aggie posts.
I know that's a very long-winded answer to Aggie's post, but that's what she showed.
And she puts her hand under things.
Because that block that she has, you can put anything under that block.
The block is super intense with the frequency.
You can put your hand under there and you can see that the blood changes.
Same thing with wound healing because there's no more stressors.
Like your wounds can heal twice as fast.
So inflammation, you can put things under that block that will completely harmonize it.
And if we want to go into it, we don't have to, but I can talk about my extreme food allergies
of like histamine responses and being able to put food under there and it neutralizing
the harmful things that are in that food for my body.
It doesn't mean it's harmful for everyone, but it neutralizes it.
And I can eat food that I'm super dangerously allergic to as long as I put it under there.
And we did that in front of thousands of people at the biohacking conference to show people
what crab did to me.
It just makes me look like I've been stung by a ton of bees.
And then we were able to do it by putting that crab meat under the block for six minutes.
I could eat it with no problem.
Oh my God. Okay. I'm really blown away by that actually. And I, okay. So I want to talk more
about that, but before we do that, I want to address this because I can imagine that some
people listening right now, one of those people being my dad, if he listens to this episode,
where he's just like, okay, this is nonsense. Like this is a bunch of woo-woo, you know, jargon.
I believe in this because I also,
I have a spiritual side of me.
I also have such a deep connection with nature
that I really truly believe that like everything
is meant to be in harmony in nature.
And I think like we can tap into certain elements of that.
Like I truly believe that nature
and the earth gives us everything that we need
in order to balance out life. So to me, I'm like, cool, this makes sense. But to somebody who's maybe a little bit more
needing more scientific evidence, are you able to actually explain how that is
actually happening? How does the Leela Q neutralize that? What's actually happening?
Yeah. Well, it kind of just goes back to that it's it's pure it's it's just the energy is neutral
um i know that might sound kind of bland and and unexpected of like you know there's no wow to it
but it's new what's in that box that's neutralizing it okay so it's pure quantum energy like
legitimately it is uh they're the one thing that's proprietary to Leela is how they capture into, you know, I have a small one here, but you can see like this is the block.
I have one behind me.
I can grab two, but this is a very small one.
I travel with this one.
But inside the block is where the most intense version of the quantum energy is, but it does expand out.
But that's the only thing that's really proprietary as to how how that gets in
there and i don't even know that so um that that's kind of the secret of what that's kept there but
for people who question it is like you know we have the 60 65 studies on our on our website
where you can see that you know the double blind placebo So even if you're not like it's there and it shows the before and afters of it. But I mean, I'm on the same point where like, you know,
I went to med school, I did all this stuff. I was very linear. Crystals and fairies was as
woo as it gets. And I made a shift when I was in school, kind of like, there's something there.
I wasn't into the biohacking world back then, but I knew something was wrong.
It didn't feel right to not like, Oh, just do this and, and take medicine.
And I was like, well,
there's gotta be natural ways because we did this for thousands of years,
hundreds of thousands of years before anything happened.
So I got more into like nature and natural stuff,
which is how I got into all of this. But you know, it's just,
I understand both sides and I, cause I've, I've been on there. I'm always into like, you know it's just i understand both sides and i under because i've
i've been on there i'm always into like you know being inquisitive and questionable to anything
um and more so for people like with lila it's really hard especially like trying to educate
people or show and they like well these products are expensive you know and it's like we have
products that are started like 35 but also like the most common thing we have, which
I was where is the capsule.
And this is like $145 and you can feel it.
And like, that's enough, I think for a lot of people to understand that, okay, there's
something to it.
I feel this energy coming off of this thing that's not plugged in, which sounds weird,
but you can feel it. And for a lot of people, it can be too intense. So they have to remove some
of the stuff out of it has these titanium spheres in it. So you have to remove it. And that's enough
to at least give people like that. Because that's, you know, for me, at least the best way I can
believe or learn things is through experiential learning. um you can sit here and hear a lecture all day
and get it but like experiential learning it sits in you like it's an experience that you understand
so like with any like quantum products the best way is to show someone is for them to experience
it and it's like you know in la like you know you can go to like sun life organics in la and they
all carry all of them carry liela Quantum products that like big blocks
and they put all their food under it because it enhances the flavor because it structures water
so they put it under there for all their fruits and acai bowls and smoothies because it enhances
the flavor let alone everything else it's doing but that's why they do it so people can go to
those stores and put their hands under it and you can feel it. Like it's pretty cool.
As the holiday season approaches, it's time to focus on more than just gift giving and festive cheer. Let's talk about a gift that you can give yourself healthier teeth and a brighter smile.
If you're looking for a natural and effective way to upgrade your dental care routine,

That is W-E-L-L-N-E-S-S-E.com slash realfoodology. With cold and flu season right around the corner,
I'm always on the hunt for ways to strengthen my immune health.
And I found something that has truly changed the game for me,
Armra Colostrum.
I've been using it for a while now,
and honestly, I feel like I've unlocked a new level of vitality.
Armra Colostrum is a bioactive whole food, not a supplement,
and it's packed with over 400 functional nutrients.
It strengthens your
immune barriers, your body's first line of defense against harmful particles from the environment
that can make you sick. Since I started using it, I've noticed my immunity feels fortified,
my gut health is better, and even my energy levels are up. What's more, 80% of your immune
cells live in your gut and Armour helps to strengthen all four layers of your gut wall.
That's crucial during cold and flu season. It's also packed with immunoglobulins. These are antibodies that help
block harmful viruses and bacteria from entering your system. Now here's the best part. I worked
out a special deal for my listeners. You can get 15% off your first order at tryarmra.com
slash realfoodology or just enter realfoodology at checkout. That's T-R-Y-A-R-M-R-A.com
slash realfoodology. That is really cool. I want to do that. I want one of these to put my hand
under it. I have a guy friend in LA who drives a Tesla and there's a lot of conversation right
now about Teslas. I've seen a lot of videos about this actually online of people when they get them, they start feeling like they have like EMF poisoning from driving around
in them all day. And I've seen meters too, where like if somebody is sitting in the Tesla while
it's charging, the EMF radar is just like going through the roof. And so I have a guy friend in
LA who drives a Tesla and he has one of the Lila Q thing. He has a Q probably about like this bit.
It's pretty big and he keeps it in his little console
and I was pretty impressed by that
but yeah he does that to kind of like help neutralize.
So my question with that
is because we've talked a lot about how like
so you put like your food under there and it's made it
to where you can eat it or like it neutralizes
it. You can feel your hand under there.
If you just have it in your
car or like let's say for example
I really want to get one just to place my bedroom for when we're sleeping at night so that we don't have to unplug the wifi.
Is that still going to have an effect? Like I think you said that it has kind of like,
yeah. Okay. Yeah. For the EMF neutralization, it depends on which one you have. It goes about a
half a mile. So it's significant. Yeah. In terms of the EMF neutralization, of course, the closer you are,
the better, but like for sleep, sometimes the blocks, uh, like that I just showed,
those can be too intense for people to sleep next to because it's energy. It's still producing an
energetic field, which, um, so like if you sleep right next to it, it could actually also mess with
your sleep, like the wifi would. So you'd want to put it, um, like across the house or across
the apartment or something. It'll still completely, you'll be in this safe like quantum field this
protected field um but having it too close to you also can be too much so um you know the tesla stuff
is dead on uh back when i was really actually like very sensitive to emfs that are things going on is
i i had i was one of the people in line for
eight hours to to sign you know to get my reservation for a model three and uh when i sat
in one i was blown i was like absolutely not about to have a heart attack like my my throat closed in
all the way my heart flew up and especially with those because the batteries especially for men
are you're sitting on it. So,
you know,
EMFs and we talked about like with sperm count and it affecting all of
that,
like that,
that's massive.
Um,
and we have,
we've tested with the Teslas and we have that on the website for at
Lila Q,
um,
where you can see what we've done.
Um,
you know,
one of like a more famous,
I don't say famous,
but really well-known EMF educator,
Luke Story. Like he has so much content of him having the block in his Tesla. He keeps in the
back, the front. And he also uses our quantum upgrade, which is another product kind of service
that people can do or get into, which can become across more, way more woo-woo because it's quantum
entanglement. But again, the Nobel prize was won on that research in 2022. So like, it's completely awesome and, and, and
testable, but you can have those on your cars and stop. And one thing, you know, for people,
even if they don't have these products, I think it's a misconception to, so I just want to educate
people on this. It's like when you have a car that has Bluetooth or Wi-Fi in it a
lot of people and it makes sense to think this but they think that just
because they're not using the Bluetooth they think that the Bluetooth is not on
and that is unfortunately absolutely wrong the wire the Wi-Fi is on all day
the Bluetooth is on all day and certain things like when you're if you have your
cell phone and you're in an area where you don't have cell service, it's better to put your phone on the airplane mode than to keep it searching.
Because when things are searching, they're producing more EMS.
So, and that becomes a problem for like when you have a Faraday cage, because if you put a Faraday cage around the wi-fi router i've tested this myself so i know i'm just speaking on things i've tested just to see what because
i was curious and it turned out to be right but it's like if you have a faraday cage on your wi-fi
router your phone is now going to be producing higher emfs your ipad your macbook whatever
computers you have because now it's searching because it's it's kind of like panic like i can't
find the wi-fi where is it at and it's searching because it's, it's kind of like panic. I can't find the wifi.
Where's it at?
And it's searching harder and that's blasting you more too.
So when you, when people think that, you know, all my phone has, or my car has Bluetooth,
I don't use it.
It's like, well, it doesn't matter.
It's still looking.
It's constantly searching.
It's like, Hey guys, I'm here.
Want to hang out?
You know, it's all, it's one of those like always.
But, um, so even if you're not connected to it, the Bluetooth is still on
and ready to go. Same thing with the Wi-Fi on cars. It's just because you're not utilizing
it doesn't mean anything. Yeah, that's a great point. And you know, I had not thought about this
when I got my car. So I don't drive a Tesla, but I was very excited because I really like Audis.
And Audi came out with this plugin-in where it's like,
it's a hybrid where it's a plug-in, but it's also like gas as well. And I got this. And then maybe
like six months later, I started seeing all these videos about like Tesla and EMFs. And, you know,
when you plug it in and charging in and getting exposed to all the EMFs and I was like, oh crap,
it's probably the same thing with the hybrid too right when i'm
plugging it in absolutely yeah yeah yeah it is it's the hybrid it's electric that's all it's just
because you know even as high as this electric and electric you you have the the energy that's
running through that and you can most people like especially the emf sensitive they'll feel it but
again it goes into like all these luxuries were created to enjoy and to appreciate and live life with nice, you know, accessories.
But it's like you can either, and again, not everyone has that luxury, but it's like either not have it or live with it and neutralize and let it kind of be coherent with everything else.
And that's kind of what we're focusing on.
Like the creator of LilaQ was the global
vice president of T-Mobile for a very long time. So he has that side of the spectrum with all the
EMS, you know, 5G, everything that's coming off. And now he's here where it's like, well,
let's still enjoy it because otherwise it kind of goes back to fear in a way. Again, I want to say
like there are people who don't have that luxury, but for the majority of people who do, it's like,
don't, you don't have to have everything in a Faraday cage and lock up the phone, you know,
in the basement at night. It's like, you can still have it there and enjoy the amenities and
accommodations that have been just invented for us. Yeah. And, and I love that so much about your
message because sometimes when I hear people online talking about EMFs,
it's like all these things, right? They say, okay, unplug your Wi-Fi at night,
turn your phone on airplane mode, always have your phone on airplane mode unless you're using it.
And there's all these rules. And I'm not even here to say that. I think that those are great tools, especially if you're really, really struggling. But I just, I struggle with that because, you know, for the longest time until I moved in with my fiance, I was living alone in LA.
I'm not going to unplug my wifi and turn my phone on airplane mode. God forbid somebody breaks in
in the middle of the night. Like I, you know, so there's like certain things where I'm like, okay,
you know, you also need to be smart and safe about this kind of stuff. And then I was kind of, you
know, stressed and struggling with
the idea of like, okay, well, what's worse, the EMFs or like the potential break-in or, you know,
like my safety. And so I'm here to tell people, we're both here to tell people that there is a
middle ground. And we also don't want you stressing all day because that's going to be another stress
around your body. And so we need to find the healthy, accessible workaround that we can do. And look,
now I feel a lot safer in the place that I'm living in. I live with my fiance. We could unplug
the Wi-Fi at night. I have a friend who actually just got a thing in her house where it's a switch
where like literally at night, they just turn the switch off and then it turns it off. Exactly.
Which I think is way more accessible and makes it a lot easier to do that kind of
stuff. But then there is that concern of like, okay, if your doorbell's connected to your Wi-Fi,
we're so entangled with this world with Wi-Fi that it's hard, which is why I love the idea of
having the Lila Quantum products to neutralize. What are your thoughts on, I actually don't even
know, maybe LilaQ makes these too, but I actually don't even know. Maybe Lila Q
makes these too, but I actually didn't look into this before this episode. So there's this other
company, and I wish that I could remember the name right now. It'll probably come to me,
that makes these little bracelets. So I actually have two of them on. I have this,
and then I have this gold chain. And apparently they're EMF neutralizers. And then I also have
these little metal plates. One that's stuck on the these little metal plates, one that's stuck on the back
of my phone, one that's stuck on the back of my iPad, another one that's in my car. What are your
thoughts? Because when I shared about those, I got met with a lot of mixed messages, a lot of people
being like, how do you know this works? I heard they're fake. I heard they don't work. What are
your thoughts on those kinds of things? That's a great question just because those are out there. And I get invaded with those ads all
day long. And I see that stuff. And the one thing I can tell you is that we have tested those things
and we have yet to find one that actually is effective. And I'm not even saying that on a
biased level, because I'm not even here just to be on that one side. It's just there isn't. Because
if there was, I'd be sending those to people too
because they're a lot cheaper.
But we have yet to find one.
And I mean, that is something we're actively looking for.
And it's one of those where like, is it effective?
Does it put your peace of mind?
Like those are the way I look at things a lot
where it's like, well, there's the placebo aspect
where you feel like it's protecting you.
Now you have that less stress. so you feel better that way.
But on an actual result-based, we have never found a single one that works, especially with the stuff on the back.
And we're testing biomarkers.
So we're not using – because you wouldn't regardless be able to test – most people, just to be aware too, is even saying they're wrong that those don't work they're testing it wrong like they're testing it with
an emf meter and it's like well absolutely that's not going to work i can guarantee you that but
they'll do that and go hey look it's not working so they're not even testing it right and the way
we want to test it is how is it affecting our body because that's what's important because how
it affects you courtney to how it affects me, to everyone else can be
very different. So we're doing this with a large group of people and testing everyone on them.
But with those, we've just yet to find one that works. It doesn't mean they don't exist. So I'm
not saying that those are just a pointless thing to purchase, but we've tested pretty much anything
that we can find on the market. Any of the ads that come up on my page, we're like, let's buy it and check it out.
It's not even a little.
I just don't do anything.
But it doesn't mean that maybe someone could come up with one at one point.
If they do, we'd love to test it and then give them the kudos to it.
But at this point, we haven't found any company that even helps.
Well, that's good to know.
Then I'm going to stop posting about these.
I found some ad
like you did and it was somebody who I trust that was backing it I can't remember who it was now
um but I was like oh cool I'm intrigued by these but yeah I mean I never want to lead anybody
astray but that's such a bummer because it's nice to think that like okay I can wear these things
and it neutralizes but you know it's good to know that they don't it depends on also like it's important to know the terminology they use um because especially when they're like because
i see that where like it blocks emfs and that is there is a world of a difference like we've talked
about this whole thing is blocking emfs and neutralizing emfs and blocking emfs would be like
emf blocking clothing faraday cages things like that and those for sure don't and can't because
that goes into the
argument of like, well, you wouldn't be able to use your phone if you blocked it, right? Which
is what we're, what we are trying to opposite do. We want you to use your phone. We want you to
immerse yourself, not immerse yourself, but be able to utilize all this technology. But like,
I see those things and it says like, this will block EMFs. It's like, well,
then your phone will not turn on. If it doesn't, if it worked, your phone block EMFs. It's like, well, then your phone will not turn on. If it worked, your phone won't turn on.
That's what I was wondering about
and I was just going to ask you, that was my next question,
was, so you've brought up the Faraday
cages a couple times, and my
question was going to be, do those even work?
Because I would imagine if it's blocking the Wi-Fi,
then it's not going to work. The Wi-Fi is not going to work.
Correct, yeah.
But that goes into your friend who has the kill switch.
So that's one option. Other people literally throw their wifi in a, in a Faraday cage at night and they just leave it on or whatever, or your phone. Like, you know,
they make Faraday cage, cell phone pockets and stuff like that. Like, so for Lila, we do have,
we make clothing that is completely EMF blocking. We have jackets, we have beanies, uh, and total side note, but I have to say,
I love this because, um, in the EMF world, the blocking clothing, one thing I like to do is I
like to, I've even changed my social media name. Cause I was, I was always biohacker Todd and that
was extreme and elite. You know, I really turned into this like low key biohacker mindset where it's like, I don't want people to be like, Hey, look at me guys. Look at me. I'm extremely elite. I really turned into this low-key biohacker mindset where it's like,
I don't want people to be like, hey, look at me, guys.
Look at me.
I'm being healthy.
Walking barefoot or sandals and all that stuff.
So what I really appreciate with LilaQ, I had nothing to do with this designer thing,
but they're European, so their clothing is nice.
They don't make this thing that says, everyone look at me, and I'm zipped up my face.
Because if you see some of the products, like there's one company, uh, they make it
where you zip up all the way to your face.
So like you're, you look like you're about to rob a place.
Um, and I don't mean that in a mean way to that company, but like, I don't personally
want to walk through an airport that way.
I will get tased.
I'll get tased.
I'm sure.
I was just going to say like TSA is going
to pull you out in a heartbeat. Yeah. And then you're just, you're getting attention. And that's
also, but like one thing I really like about the Lila, again, they have super nice, like the
clothing is fashionable and it's not saying, Hey everyone, look at me, jackets, beanies. Um, even
like I always have this next to me, but like, so this hat is completely EMF blocking because it
has silver in it. So if I actually put my phone in here and closed it up my phone will not work like so that shows we have that we have the beanies
for babies uh adults to um underwear for men um which specifically is it's fashionable it's not
weird looking um and it's these are charged with quantum energy but also block emfs entirely but again that's if
you want that if you put your phone in those it will not work an emf meter will show that but
um some people especially for like an airport that's when i'm more likely to do that because
airplanes that's a whole nother level like on airplanes what people may or may not know is one
of the worst times on the airplane for emfss is when it just as it lands, everyone
turns on their phones at the same time. Because at that point, it's just, it's just-
Yeah, you're just getting blasted.
Yeah, it's a bomb going off. And then you have the front cockpit and stuff like that.
And you go into the pilots and their long-term issues with cancer. Like airline pilots, could
be two things. I'm not going to say, hey, it's EMFs could also be circadian rhythm, uh, dismanagement and stuff like that. But, but airline pilots have like,
yeah, they have horrible cancer rates. So I'm not going to say it's just for that. Cause I don't
know, but you know, did there, there is really high EMFs. They're exposed to so much.

Yeah, this is a little bit of a side tangent, but it's just an
interesting fact that I heard. I used to travel a lot for work. For 10 years of my life, I worked
in music and I was tour managing bands. And so I was flying nonstop. And I mean, I even think about
this now and I'm like, oh, I hope I didn't do too much damage on my body. But we were told that flight attendants actually
are not allowed to be on organ donor lists because they are exposed to so much radiation and the
circadian rhythm. There's a lot of different stuff happening there to their health because they're on
planes so much and going through airports all the time. Now, somebody listening may be able to fact
check me on this. This is just something that somebody told me years ago. And yeah, that really freaked me out.
I didn't know that. But theoretically, that makes sense. Yeah. I mean, there's a lot of,
you know, people are more aware. And I don't know if that's state to state in terms of donor stuff,
but like the stress is because their bodies are, those are all those are very difficult jobs there in terms of
a health base, because like circadian rhythm, in my opinion is it is our golden child.
Like if your circadian rhythm is off, nothing else is going to work.
Like it's, that's your prime thing.
Right.
So like the, the, the shifts that they take, the flight attendants do and the constant
middle, it's the same thing as any first responder firefighters like they're it's a disaster for them um you know and it's interesting again kind of a side tangent
but i just connected these dots you were talking about the circadian rhythm and so i practice
something called cycle syncing for my period and there's this app that i use called natural cycles
and while i was on the road touring,
my circadian rhythm was all over the place. Cause like we would be flying to different time zones
almost every day. And then we were flying to Europe and we were flying to Australia and then
I'd come back to the United States. And so my circadian rhythm was so out of whack that I
actually couldn't use that natural cycles, uh, birth control app at the time because they were
like, your circadian rhythm is so all over the place. And then you think about like a woman's menstrual cycle is like her peak, how do I want
to word this? It's like your most vital sign for a woman's health. Exactly. So that's really,
yeah, the circadian rhythm is a really interesting one. And then you think about like, yeah,
our sleep and EMFs having a strain on our sleep as
well. That's something that I think that a lot of people don't talk enough about is our circadian
rhythm and how important it is. Out of everything I've done, I've been heavily involved in the
biohacking slash alternative health, whatever you want to call it. And I have done everything and
I've gone to the extremes of anything that's possible. This is a tester.
That's what I've always done with social media
is this test crazy stuff.
And like, as I sit here today,
it's like I've stepped back from so many things.
I'm like, here are what I'm going to focus on.
And these are what are most important to me.
And the basic most important thing
is my circadian rhythm health
because it's a clog in the system that nothing
else will work. If that is messed up your, your cognitive function, your heart, your mitochondrial
health, everything else stops. Like it is the root of everything. So I think like when you go down to
the most groundwork of everything about our health to me, I'm very confident about that is the
importance of our circadian rhythm.
And I mean, we can go on a whole night out
because it's all about like not, you know,
being inside all day
and our body thinks it's noon all day.
And same thing, so.
What are the top things that you do
to help protect your circadian rhythm?
Or I don't know if protect is the right word,
but to make sure that you stay in balance.
To align with it.
So there's a few things with that. I would say also, so I'm sorry,
I'm going to be wrong by a year possibly. It's either 2016 or 2017, the Nobel Prize was won on
circadian biology. And that was a huge blow up for people. This is amazing. It's getting recognition.
And you can read a book. If you want to know anything about this is amazing it's getting like recognition um and you can read a
book if you want to know anything about this stuff there's a book um circadian code and it'll just
change your life because you learn all this stuff about what the research about that incurred um
but basically the things i do is uh and i do believe that the probably the healthiest thing
that anyone can do for themselves is to watch sunrise.
I love that it's been going out.
And I don't want to sound arrogant, but I've been saying this since 2014.
Like, watch sunrise.
Watch sunrise and watch sunset.
Because light therapy, like our central nervous system, circadian rhythm is blind.
It doesn't know what's going on. Uh, and so just to summarize
and step back is the circadian biology research showed that our hormones are basically, um,
in alignment of a hundred percent of the sun. So that we're getting messages all day to our eyes
through wavelengths of what to do. So watching sunrise in the morning actually triggers and activates, Hey, in 12 hours from now,
we're going to start utilizing melatonin. Um, so it's, it's an important domino effect of
watching sunrise because what it triggers and sets the body for, for the rest of the day,
and then going out. And I know like, again, we're humans and you can't be spinning all day outside.
There are influences out there that will tell you that you should be standing up all day, have an outside, be barefoot in the grass with a standing desk, right?
And it's like, that'd be great, but who truly can do that?
No one really can.
So I really focus on like, what is utilizable?
Like, what can we do to benefit?
And, you know, watching sunrise and if you can go out every, in a perfect world, every
hour to at least three hours and spend 10 or 15 minutes
outside. And, you know, I mean, Andrew Huberman has the deep science with all this recently,
which is great because now more people believe it, but this has been told forever, you know,
but it's, um, when you're looking at your phone, it's the same wavelengths that the sun is from 10
AM to 2 PM. So our bodies don't know that we bodies don't know that we're looking at a computer right now.
And let's say it's nighttime and I look at my phone or I'm checking an email.
Those signals come in that, hey, it's 10 a.m., but I'm laying in bed.
So now your body is sending this communication of, oh, crap, it's 11, 10 a.m., 11 a.m.
I need to start releasing cortisol.
Why am I utilizing melatonin?
Stop the melatonin.
Let's get cortisol going, guys, cortisol.
And then all from us looking at a phone or whatever, right?
So our circadian rhythm is trying to be there,
but at the same time, so you go back to sleep
because you're not awake, but now your brain is like,
okay, I'm ready to go, guys.
Hey, where'd everyone go? But it's ready and your glucose levels, right? So blood sugar,
cortisol, all that gets raised from looking at it. And that's circadian rhythm management. So like,
again, this isn't a perfect world. You don't have your lights on after sunset because sunset tells
us to go to sleep. If you have any question about this, go camping. How fast do you go to sleep when you're not on your phones and you're around a fire, right?
You're around a fire and those wavelengths say, hey, let's start releasing some lithium.
Let's start releasing melatonin.
Feel good.
Fall asleep.
And when I go camping in Yosemite, like I'm tired by 6 p.m.
You know, I'm not with my phone or anything, especially during the hours where it gets dark at 4.30
or 5 there. I go to bed so early. But it just shows you. If you remove the light management
and have natural light, you're going to go to bed a lot earlier. Now, that is not manageable
for anyone who has kids. So I understand that. There are ways to do that. You can get circadian
friendly lighting. Incandescent lights
are ideal in california lovely california um banned those um but you can use like himalayan
salt lamp bulbs um if you want to advance that you can also buy night lights that are red um
and i actually just have red light panels and i just leave them on the light of the whole house
um in different rooms so So that's what I
do, but it doesn't mean everyone has that acceptable. Like that's for your circadian
rhythm, you know, stay away from blue light after night. Same thing with eating. Like when you eat
after sunset, like you're not going to sleep well because now your body, and that was in the code,
that was actually the circadian rhythm research showed that like the most unhealthiest thing you
can do is eat after sunset because
we may go to sleep, but your body doesn't sleep now because it is digesting everything. Your
glucose levels are going up and it stresses you and you're not going to get quality sleep.
The eating at least a couple of hours before you go to bed is so important. I can't eat past, I mean, in a perfect world past like 7.30, but if I'm eating
past like 8 p.m., I'm not sleeping very well because your body is still working on digesting
your food. The lights thing I really wanted to dive into for a second because I'm super
passionate about this because I'm someone who, you know, I mentioned how much
my circadian rhythm was messed up and for all my traveling for so many years. And my sleep as a
result was really messed up for a long time. Like I, for most of my adult life until I started
focusing on this, I could not fall asleep before like 2 a.m., which saying that now I'm absolutely horrified by,
but it just, my body was so ramped up. And what I started doing about two and a half years ago,
which was an absolute game changer for me, was changing out all my lights. So at night,
I don't have any of the overhead fluorescent lights. Every single light that's on in my house,
like past sunset, are all these like amber lit, like said like the himalayan pink salt lamps yeah i also have these really awesome lamps that every
time somebody comes over they ask me about them because they look really aesthetically pleasing
and they're really cool it's this brand called lofty and what i like about them is you can do
normal colored lights for during the day or like you sun's going down. And then they have one
setting called, it's literally named candle. And it's like the same light as candle light.
So we have those going on in our bedroom, in the bathroom. I don't even turn on the bathroom
lights at night. When I first started dating my boyfriend and we would be brushing our teeth at
night, he'd turn on all the blaring lights and I would freak out because I was like,
oh my God, no, you're going to mess with my melatonin.
And I have these little Himalayan pink salt,
like nightlights in the bathroom.
And now he loves it.
Because I will tell you guys,
for everybody listening,
not only is it really good for your health,
it's like,
I don't have another word for this other than it.
It's like sexy lighting.
It's like vibey.
Like at night,
like I love it now when I have friends over,
it looks cool. Like, and it's just calming to the nervous system. So even if you have friends over
and you're like, you know, finishing dinner and you turn off all the lights and you just turn on
all these like beautiful amber lights, it's not only better for everybody's health, but it's super
vibey. It's like you're, you're eating by like candlelight, which I love. So I'm a huge fan of
that. And I just had to go off my tangent because I was like, yes. And I wanted to give people other options. You can go online on Amazon,
buy a bunch of Himalayan pink salt nightlights. I have them actually a bunch of them all around
our house. In our hallway, we have a really long hallway that's super dark. And so we have these
little Himalayan pink salt lamps that have this just beautiful amber light. And so then you're
not going to mess with your melatonin and you don't have to walk through like complete darkness. Yeah. And that's always
the question because it's like, well, I want to do all this, but I also have kids and I don't
want them in the dark and all that stuff's understandable. So it's like finding things
that are manageable for people. I think I have some, I love the idea of the salt lamp ones.
I don't even think I've seen those. The ones I have are just like,
they're clear, like plastic that stick up and then they're like light activated
in terms of once it gets dark,
they just light up red.
But during the day they're in,
so I don't have to do anything,
but they just turn on and off by themselves
and they're super cheap,
like six or $7 a piece.
And I've had them for years.
And same ones.
Oh, that's amazing.
Okay, you should send me those so we can add a link in the show notes for people because the ones I mentioned
the lofty ones are a little bit more expensive but they're like well okay full circle back to
emfs I'm like they're probably emitting emfs because they connect to like if you have a lofty
alarm clock they connect to all these different things they connect to an app on your phone
but you know I mean it's like, you know,
what we were saying.
You should have an auditor at it.
Exactly.
And what's cool is you can actually change the lights on it.
So, I mean, you could make them, like, green if you want to
and never use the green.
But, like, you can make them red.
You can make this, like, candlelight color.
But, yeah, I mean, back to this whole circadian rhythm thing,
I think the lights is a really, really big important part of
it. And I think another thing too, which you touched on, but just to give people an even more
actionable, tangible thing that you could do, I'm assuming a lot of people listening are probably
like, okay, I'm not going to be able to see the sunrise every morning. Something that you can do
that I think is accessible for everyone is the moment you wake
up, just go outside for like two minutes. I have to do this. I have dogs. So like I immediately
get up and I just walk outside with the dogs and I just walk outside with them for two minutes and
get sunlight. And something as simple as that will make a huge difference because it signals
to your body like, okay, it's the sun is up. We need to produce cortisol. It gives you energy.
And then like you said, it signals to your body like, okay, this is where we're at in the timeline.
12 hours from now or whatever, we're going to need to start producing the melatonin.
Yeah. And the circadian rhythm is very sensitive. It really is. So it's like when you can mess it
up in a way, I don't mean that a bad way, but it's being mindful of it. Because same thing is
if you get up at 4am andm and look at your phone you're now
setting up the cortisol because it's like oh it's nine o'clock in the morning time to wake up guys
and going outside is the best thing there's nothing there's just nothing that supersedes
nature um and now there's a whole list of things you could do before that like if you don't have
that opportunity is to have like red light panels, red light panels and the red light therapy has its own skew of benefits.
But what I focus really on is the circadian rhythm aspect of it.
And also just because the,
the wavelengths from a red light panel mimic sunrise and sunset.
And that's why the sun is a little darker that way, right?
Because it's dominant infrared, far infrared lighting.
And on a side note for us, if you guys want to understand like the coolness of like the circadian rhythm is a little darker that way right because it's dominant infrared far infrared lighting um and
on a side note for us if you guys want to understand like the coolness of like the circadian
rhythm and how this all works is like you know people that i'm not a fan it doesn't get in fact
i'm a redhead so this should say a lot it's like i haven't used sunscreen and i live in florida
for like 15 years um and one thing i do is i either use a lot of i get a lot of red light
therapy exposure in the morning or sunrise because infrared and far infrared wavelengths will
actually metabolize the uva and uvb excessive amounts of uva and uvb midday so you don't burn
um so if you are going to be out but most people burn because we're only outside midday.
But if you're out all morning, midday and then evening, you're much less likely to burn,
especially if you have a sun callus. It's always important to build up a little callus. But
if you have a sunburn, go get red light there or put the red light on you. But it's the same
thing as you're sending the signals to your body, wearing sunglasses. And this is two different worlds. Because like wearing sunglasses,
you are now cutting off that communication, right? So your body just thinks it doesn't know. And so
you're not producing your natural sunscreen elements. And that can be a problem. But then,
you know, that goes into a lot of things, because I can tell you this all day, Courtney,
but when I'm in Florida, I wear sunglasses
because the beach is quartz and it will hurt.
The same thing if you being in Denver
and the sun hitting down the snow,
it's going to hurt your eyes.
So there are times you're like,
yeah, I'm going to wear sunglasses.
It's a safety aspect.
But I really think sunglasses can do more damage
than good long-term. It just messes with
the signals of what time of day it is. This is one of those things where it's kind of like,
we have to really exercise. What is the word that I'm looking for right now? You just got to think
about these things a little bit. Obviously, if we're at the beach, we're going to put sunglasses
on because it's hard on our eyes. I feel like, you know, on the internet, especially sometimes where, you know, you get these messages from people and they're
like, oh my God, this is insane. This is impractical, blah, blah, blah. And it's like,
okay, but as humans in general, we need to exercise discernment between things, right?
Where it's like, obviously if I'm skiing, I'm going to wear eye protection, but it is really
fascinating to know that like, and to just be aware,
because now that I'm aware, like I never knew these things. The sunglasses thing is interesting
because I didn't know this until probably like two years ago. But now that I know that, then I'm just
going to be more conscious and aware where like there are those times where I'm outside and I'm
like, I don't actually really need to be wearing these right now that I won't. And then in the
times where I'm like, I really need the protection, like I'm going to wear the sunglasses, you know? And so it's just kind of knowing this and having
these tools in your back pocket and knowing when to utilize them. Knowledge is power. And that's
one thing I like to do because it's like, we need to own it. And you know, a lot of times it's like,
as long as you're aware, that's fine. But I say the same thing with like the power of an elimination
diet is like, doesn't mean that you can never have, like when you bring food back in, if you bring, you know, you do this 30 days and you cleanse
yourself and you bring food in and you eat sugar and like, oh my gosh, or you have dairy,
pasteurized dairy. And all of a sudden you have these problems. Like, well, it doesn't mean you
can't ever have it, but now you know the effects and you can just be like, is it worth it or not?
And that's how everything to me, and I know this is so cheesy because my wife hears me say this
all the time, but is the juice worth the squeeze?
And that's how I base everything because it's like, well, I know what this cake is going to do, but you know what?
I'm at my cousin's wedding.
So, yes, I'm going to enjoy the cake and just know what it's going to do.
And it's the same thing with all of this.
As long as you have the knowledge and power and you can own the decision and the content of the consequences blindsiding
you and you not knowing this is better to know, but then you choose. It doesn't mean like you,
you have to sit in this, like we've been talking about, like your life doesn't have to be a fear
and avoidance. Cause like, that's not a life. That's not fun. And so same thing with all of
this. It's like, I will wear, I will not wear sunglasses a certain time, but if I am at the
beach where it will actually give me a headache and burn, then I'm going to enjoy the sunglasses. But we make our own choices. You just have to own
it though. Don't regretfully do things. Don't regretfully eat food. I'm going to hate this
ice cream. It's so good. If I hate it, it's going to be so bad. It's like, no, just enjoy it and
know what it's going to do to you and own it. And own it. And that's it. We're adults.
Yeah. No, I love that. I totally agree.
So I was going to ask you because you brought up when you look at your phone in the middle of the
night, it has that blue light. It's going to affect your hormones. What are your thoughts
on when you turn your screen? You can turn your screen really red, which if I remember to do this,
I do it. But I also have a setting on my phone. And if you guys don't have this yet,
go and do this immediately because it will help you immensely.
I have a setting where at 7.30 PM,
my phone goes orange
and it like protects the blue light aspect of it.
Do you think that that really helps
and that actually works?
So for everything I'm saying
that we're talking about,
Matt Maruca, his actual Instagram is thelightdiet.
And he created, based off the teachings and mentorship of Jack Cruz, who's kind of like a famous neurologist,
that his main focus is circadian biology and other things.
Light, water, and magnetism basically is his.
But Matt Maruca also owns a blue light blocking
company that he certainly is 18 years old and it's called raw optics and if
you go to his page he will show these things so he actually has measurements
to show you that like now for example the depending on how you have that set
up Courtney if it's just on like the surface level,
it doesn't do anything.
But like, for example, the red filter,
like, so I know your audience really can't see it,
but like you actually have like a red filter.
Like, yeah, so that is just the iPhone.
You can go onto YouTube
and just type in red filter iPhone trick.
It takes you two minutes and you set it up.
So I have it where it's just a three click,
like one, two, three,
and it goes back to regular, right?
And then one, two, three, and it goes away.
So yeah, so that works.
But now like night shift mode,
and that actually does not work.
And Matt shows these with actual light measuring tools
that he has where he's like,
yeah, look, this doesn't do anything.
But red light or the red filter will but like the night shift mode but you can modify it of
course but the one that like iphones actually just give you casually they don't really do anything
there are um there's two companies i i know of and i believe they're free is iris it's i-r-i-s and then um for mac companies you can or products you can use f
lux so it's f.lux and they will help with your electronics and you can put it on like biohacker
mode and it does the same thing like that or just have it on but like mine is set up where it changes
throughout the day uh it softens the light and everything like that. And F-Lux, which is on a MacBook, it's free. So they have opportunities for that and to do it.
Yeah. I'm going to download that. Okay. Well, in the essence of time, I have two questions for you.
One, I just wanted to ask you, I kind of wanted to wrap up. So we talked a lot about EMFs. We
talked a lot about the Leela Q products
and the clothes and all that.
And you had mentioned earlier
that you used to really struggle with EMFs.
Where are you with all of that now?
And do you feel like these Leela Q products
have really helped you a lot with neutralizing the EMFs?
Yeah, I'm definitely in a more advanced level
where I'm not super sensitive, but I still can go to play. Well, because I'm definitely in a more advanced level where I'm not super sensitive,
but I still can go to play.
Like,
well,
like,
cause I'm in Austin.
I can,
I can tell I get antsy from it.
Cause there's so much 5g in Austin.
The same thing with Washington DC for me,
those are places where it's really heavy and it still gets me.
But in general,
I would definitely say like the Liliq products.
And you know,
here's one thing about me. I just want to preface your audience too. It's like, I didn't just start working with LiliQ products. Here's one thing about me.
I just want to preface your audience too.
I didn't just start working with LiliQ.
With all the stuff that I do in the biohacking world is I find companies,
I test the heck out of them, and then when I truly love them,
I'm like, hey, I really want to help you get this out,
and let me help you with certain things that I do as my actual job.
And so I reach out to them and I find things.
So like Lelacue is one of those companies where like I wholeheartedly use them, use
them before I even got into working with them.
But the Lelacue stuff definitely has helped significantly.
And my wife will not go anywhere without it, especially when she's traveling.
She carries the travel block like in her purse and the car.
And when we go out to eat, we use this too to neutralize the food. I hate to say I've done also a lot of inner work where I feel like also my consciousness level has increased mildly to
also be able to handle stress better. So doing the little smaller things allow my body to, I guess, be more fluid with stress.
And EMF being a stress, that's what, because, you know, many, many years ago, I was like
just a solid, stiff board of anxiety prior.
So any little thing would just knock me over.
But now it's like, I think my body is just more resilient with it.
I need to get to that place.
I may need to bring you back on, or maybe we can text about this, but I'm it? I need to get to that place. I may need to bring you back on,
or maybe we can text about this, but I'm like, I need to get to that place where I can be more
resilient with less anxiety. Would love to talk to you about that more at some other time.
That's incredible. And yeah, and I just, for my listeners that I know,
this is not meant to be like an ad or anything for LeelaQ. I just was genuinely curious because I'm curious
in finding things that can help neutralize EMFs. Just from what I've looked into with
LeelaQ, it seems like with all the studies that you guys have that these actually really
work. And I want to provide my audience and my listeners with products that actually really
work and can actually help them. So I was intrigued to know a little bit more about like your own personal experience with
them. Yeah. And another part to just like legitimize Leleque, and I'm, this may not be
any relevant to your, your audience, but the head scientist, his name is Ian Mitchell. And he,
he is probably literally legitimately, I'd call him the godfather of biohacking.
He works with the top people on anti-aging.
He's a professor at Tulsa University, has his own lab,
and the stuff that he does is fast.
He works for NASA.
He just does all these random things,
but he is their head scientist,
and he can explain things, all the Lila stuff,
so that a seven-year-old
can understand it because he has a different understanding but like he is probably the most
respected research scientist in the alternative health and biohacking world and he is the lead
scientist there so he is the one like and he legitimizes it so a lot of loan for people if
they don't even understand quantum energy uh as long as they know like Ian is the head scientist, like he's a very legitimate person.
Awesome.
Well, that's good to know.
Well, I want to ask you one more question, which is a personal question.
It's something I ask all my guests at the very end.
And I'm curious to know what yours is.
I kind of maybe know what you're going to say.
What are your health non-negotiables? So these are things that you absolutely prioritize above everything else,
no matter how crazy your day or week is to take care of your own health.
Gosh, out of everything we just talked about too. Okay. I'm going to go with two, if that's okay.
I don't know if you said one, but I think I have two. Well, one is, and I think you could do a
whole podcast on this because it's another passion, um i will not and do not drink tap water i will i would rather
go dehydrated the the the effects of uh what happens to if you understand the actual what
happens to tap tap water not even just with the chemicals but everything else that is in the
consciousness of tap water uh i won't do it um
especially united states that's for sure um and that's not just because of these chemicals there's
it goes deeper um that is a no-no uh same thing with like ro water i won't like that stuff
dehydrates you um but i want to say like for me is is um and this will go off of everything else we talked about in a different level but like
just gratitude um self-gratitude um i've spent many years with like gratitude uh and just having
the attitude of gratitude which is cheesy but like when you can have self-gratitude like it expands
um and being grateful for yourself being grateful for your quirks, be grateful for
everything that's going on with you, it will expand, leading by example that way. And just
kind of like viewing the world, and this is a little different, but I like to view the world
in the lens of love-covered glasses. If you can come from love with everything and experience everything with
love, like everything is more understanding, um, that, that we're all connected, you know,
what, however, whatever your religion is, whatever your belief is, um, we're all connected and we
should all love each other because we are each other. Um, and just having gratitude for ourselves,
all our quirks, anything, our shortcomings,
like waking up in the morning,
I make it, it used to be, it has to be a habit,
but now it's every morning I wake up
to like how grateful I am for myself.
I'm alive.
And before I go to bed, myself,
like, you know, you can talk about,
I'm grateful to live where I do,
have friends and all that,
but like go inward.
Our subconscious only knows we exist.
It doesn't know other people are there too.
So be grateful for ourselves. I't know other people are there too. So
be grateful for ourselves. I think that'll change your health too.
It absolutely will. I love that. And anybody who has done any sort of like psilocybin or,
you know, psychedelic, has any sort of psychedelic experience will know
what you're talking about when you say that we are all one and we're
all just love and we all exist here together, you know, in the same timeline. It's yeah. I,
I would encourage anybody who's listening that has not gone down that route too, because
that perspective and that mindset has completely changed my entire experience on earth.
And that sounds really crazy, but it's true
because it helps you realize that you really are not alone. And it just helps you to understand
how much closer all of us are as humans, even like a stranger across the planet is, you know,
like we're a lot closer than we actually realize. And when you start to understand that and you
start to understand that everybody is here to love and to be loved, and that's really our main mission as humans on this planet,
it changes your entire world. Yeah, that's exactly actually where I was going with that.
The most profound experience of my life, 5-MeO DMT. Also, I do plant medicines on a therapeutic
level. And you just can't ever experience the world the same way after you get to see and feel what you do with that stuff.
It's so true.
And I feel like you don't experience it until you do some level of that.
You can't even explain it.
My job is to explain things and I can't explain.
I do my best on my social media posts. I have social media
posts about 5-MeO-DMT and my most impactful profound experience of my life. I still, besides
saying that it's the totality of existence, to experience it all at once is, we're all
connected. We are.
I know. Oh, I love that so much. I've done a couple episodes on this.
I've had a ketamine therapist come on.
I've had a couple psilocybin experts come on.
So I'm, yeah, I love this conversation.
So cool.
Yeah.
Well, thank you so much for your time and for coming on.
Please let everybody know where they can find you
and really just any sort of like links
or social media that you want to drop. on, please let everybody know where they can find you and really just any sort of like links or,
you know, social media that you want to drop. Yeah. My personal social media is that odd Todd.
Um, so you can find me there. Uh, and you can look at like the stuff that we talked about, uh, Lila quantum.com or Lila Q, uh, Q like for quantum, you can go to the website and look at
stuff on there. Um, I'm, I'm open to the website and look at stuff on there. I'm open to have any
conversations with anyone there. My passion really is just educating people and explaining things so
that people understand it. I can see all the heavy science, but I like to be able to regurgitate it
so that people can understand it and then they can utilize it. Because once it goes over their
heads, you've lost people and then it's done no good. So I'm always there to help people in any way I can. Awesome. Thank you so much. This
was great. Absolutely. Thank you, Courtney. Thank you so much for listening to the Real
