Regina Swarn Audio Series Presents - A Producer’s Tribute To Regina And Lora's Gospel Legacy
Episode Date: February 12, 2026Fan MailNarrated by Dr. JOHN NATHANIEL THOMASA small apartment studio on Windy Hill Road sparked a gospel journey that refused to stay inside four walls. We look back at how Regina and Lora—inse...parable sisters with a fierce love for Jesus—turned first takes into a first album, testimony into tracks, and studio sessions into a ministry that reached churches, hospitals, and hearts. Their blend was singular: Regina’s shimmering soprano lifted every chorus while Lora anchored it with alto warmth and spoken-word Scripture that felt like a hand on your shoulder. The story widens beyond the booth. Trips to Macon brought those songs to life with a church band ready to play, a pastor Prophetes Mother A.B.Jackson, the sisters adored, and a congregation that welcomed us like family. The live moments carried heat—Holy Spirit energy you can’t stage—reminding us why gospel music lives best when community sings back. Along the way, friends and family stepped in: a rapper named Scram on verses, their brother Apostle Ford, bringing holy bars, and a circle of believers who turned performances into shared prayer.Loss enters the frame with love. Lora's passing didn’t quiet the message; it crystallized it. She charged Regina to never quit, and that promise fuels a podcast that keeps the legacy moving—story by story, guest by guest, testimony by testimony. What endures is obedience: to craft, to calling, and to the Lord who met us in takes, in pews, and in late-night edits. If you’ve ever wondered how faith, friendship, and music can weave into a life’s work, this tribute traces the threads with honesty and gratitude.Listen, share it with someone who needs hope, and leave a review to help more people find this story. Now let's take you into an episode of Regina Swart Audio Series.
I've got about me and came to my recording studio, which I was running out of an apartment on Wendy Hill Road in Marietta, Georgia.
I've known them all
inseparable
and they were so beautiful
so soulful
so I was inspired by them
they were my first
I was so that they wanted to use me
as their producer
to produce
my first gospel album
that I had ever produced
it was a challenge for me
I learned from them
I was inspired by them
not just from
their musicality and their talent and how they worked together to create the music that they had
and that they wanted to share with the world.
You know, it was so exciting.
It was just so amazing to me that we would work together in producing these songs.
Beautiful songs.
Hold on.
I miss you.
Just all kinds of beautiful songs.
We even had a run.
rapper by the name of Scram, who appeared on a couple of the tracks. I had a song on there that I did
for them. It was my testimony song. It was just a wonderful project. We did so much together.
I remember going to a few of their events. I remember Bryant, my best friend, being a part of
of the amazing experience of going to make into their church and meeting the elders of the church.
And the experience there was phenomenal as well.
They treated me and Brian and my family like royalty.
It was just amazing.
I will never forget Laura Gina's chemistry.
That's unfortunate that Laura has transitioned.
she will never be forgotten and the teamwork that was evident their love that they shared for each other and for the Lord Jesus Christ was completely evident in everything that they did I can recall Laura she would she would be the hype man or hype woman of gospel and how she would use the Bible verses that were appropriate for the
the songs that we produced, and Regina's voice would complement Laura's voice.
Regina had a high soprano style voice, and Laura's voice complimented it as an alto.
It was like spoken word the way Laura was able to just complement the music. It was just
amazing. I learned, like I said, I learned so much from the music.
their spirituality, their faith in God inspired me and to dig deeper in my studies of the Bible
and in my faith walk.
You know, their music was just, we'll never forget the times that we shared in the recording studio
where we would just create and create for not just us, but for the many, all the years that they,
were able to promote their album to so many people.
They're very amazing to me and very, still to this day,
Regina carries on the podcasting that she promised to never quit
because Laura, you know, inspired Regina to do the podcasting.
Even as Laura was, you know, transitioning,
and she told Regina never to close.
And Regina promised that she would maintain the legacy of what they did together for so many years, for so many people.
It's just incredible to see Regina still moving.
These of those that show up on her shows and their stories that she is able to get them to share inspires so many people.
so many people. If I had to put in one word what Regina and Laura represents, I guess it would be
their obedience to the Lord, Jesus Christ, in sharing their talent and giving their love in the form of the art
of music. And again, I have always been inspired by that. So I am, I am.
I'm full of gratitude for knowing Laura and Regina as the sworn sisters.
The team they always have a place.
I wasn't just their producer.
I was their friend.
It was just a pleasure.
Their dedication to spreading the gospel.
I even got to meet their brother, Tony.
He at the time was a rapper, and he still does rap for Jesus.
and it's just beautiful.
So that was amazing as well.
I did a little, a few songs for Tony back in the day as well.
So that was just amazing too.
I remember, I remember I just came to me.
When we went to go visit them and Macon,
the band of the church knew the songs
had practiced all the songs that they performed that day.
that day. And the live performance was incredible. The movement, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost
moving through that church because of Regina and Laura and wonderful pastor that that they
was just, that was just amazing to. We got a chance to speak to the, the congregation is right
at the front of the church and we were able to address the whole congregation.
Like I said, it was just wonderful.
I remember other performances at another church we went to.
I remember going to their workplace because they both worked in the hospital.
I remember just so many conversations.
It's just amazing.
So Regina and Laura, I will never forget you guys ever.
You guys still have a place in my heart.
And Laura, I see you.
I've always seen you what you represent for your sister.
And Regina, I see you and what you represented for your sister.
You guys are the sworn sisters that I will never forget.
And I love you both.
Amen, amen, amen.
Love your friend, your producer for life.
Amen, amen, amen.
Okay, that concludes another great broadcast.
