Regina Swarn Audio Series Presents - How A Radio Memorial Sparked Real Testimonies
Episode Date: July 30, 2026Fan MailTwo memorial services went farther than I ever imagined, and the response still has me shaking my head in gratitude. Radio stations helped carry the messages across the US, and what came back ...to me wasn’t just “nice sermon” feedback, it was testimony after testimony from people who felt God meet them right where they were. Some wrote that they were sick and listened while sitting in a hospital room. Others said they felt their faith wake back up. And one moment hit close to home: while we were recording, my cook walked in with tears and quietly said she wanted Jesus, right then, right there. We talk candidly about why I’m planning follow-up shows built around real people sharing what happened to them, not a highlight reel. You’ll hear why I want Elder Leonard Davis and Pastor Tammie back, and why testimony is more than a story, it’s evidence of change. We also wrestle with something I keep hearing from listeners everywhere: church can feel rushed, dry, and spiritually empty. That leads us into a blunt conversation about what’s missing when prayer disappears, and why going back to the “first works” can be the beginning of real spiritual renewal. We close with practical faith: obedience over approval, consistency when family and friends don’t take your calling seriously, and the discipline of fasting if you want to hear God clearly. If you’ve been searching for a Christian podcast about prayer, healing, testimony, and getting serious about faith again, this one is for you. Subscribe, share this with someone who needs hope, and leave a review so more listeners can find these stories.Music Commrcoyÿ Show endSupport the showContact My official website https://www.reginaswarn.comEmail address swarnregina@gmail.com Podcast theme composed by Chris Murphy Elliott

Hi and good morning. Welcome back to another episode of Regina Sworn. Audio Series presents.
Today is July.
30 it, 2026. Oh my Lord.
My sister's memorial month is almost over.
And when I tell you that the Lord moved in such a mighty way like never before, believe me.
Those two memorial services went out across the radio airwaves
reaching people I never would have thought ever, reaching a bigger audience because my podcast is popular
and I'm not bragging, but it is popular already.
So to have radio reach out to me and to help me and support me, that's even greater because
You're talking about radio stations that reach every single place in the U.S. Air One, Caleb, you know, Joy FM. God is just so good. He's so good.
I'm so thankful for my two speakers. I had two great speakers, two different servers.
and the Lord moved in such a miraculous way that even I myself are standing back in awe like oh my God.
God, did she just do that?
Do you just do that?
Oh, my God.
Oh, Lord.
I do want to cry because several things have.
happened with those two services. Several things happened. So I'm going to tell you first what I'm
planning to do is have the different people come on and testify how they were moved, how they
were touched. I'm going to have two different services. I'm going to hopefully invite
back Elder Leonard Davis and his team. That's going to be a different podcast.
where I'll have people testifying
and telling their testimony
how they were touched by the service,
by their service.
I mean, real, real life people
telling their testimony,
telling what the Lord is done for them.
Now, I couldn't get all of them.
Can you imagine thousands of people?
Sending me letters saying I was moved,
I was touched.
So that would be two different services.
And of course I would have to invite my two speakers back
so they can, you know, say something
so they can hear what their individual podcast did,
how it touched people individually.
I got to have them back with two different podcasts, you know.
Elder Leonard Davis, and then past,
Tammy, you got to have them back, you know, with two different podcasts.
With the people that, the letters I received, with the people that were touched or
were saved.
Yeah, I said saved.
I said the word.
I was in the midst of one of the people who got saved while recording the podcast with
Pastor Tammy.
my cook who comes three times a week, three or four times a week, was actually over here preparing some food.
And she heard while we were doing the recording, she heard the podcast with Pastor Tammy.
Walked in, tears in her eyes, had a potato in her hand, was still cooking.
but with tears in her eyes and whispered in my ears,
I want Jesus, I want the Lord.
She got saved while we were recording Pastor Tammy.
We were recording her podcast sermon.
Turn was the name of her podcast sermon.
But a lot of people were touched.
So several, I mean, a lot of people,
contact me saying, can I come on? Can I come on and tell my testimony? Can I please come and tell my testimony?
So that would be two different services. With Pastor Tammy, there would be a different service with her because the people who heard her podcast and who were touched by her podcast sent letters to me as well.
You know, like, I want to come on. Can I come on and tell what the Lord has done for me?
Just off of that podcast. Just off of the podcast.
what the Lord has done, what the Lord did for them.
How it made a change in their life.
People were sick.
When Elder Leonard Davis was praying,
when his sister, Dolores Davis was praying,
people were telling me that they were, they was sick.
They had people in the hospital.
Some people said they were sitting in the hospital.
And with their loved one, with their sick loved one,
I was sitting there
while Elder Leonard Davis
were praying and while Sister Delores
were praying.
And their loved one just
although they were sick
they was moving their feet or their
leg or something like that, you know.
You can't do too much in the hospital if you're
bandaged up and stuff
but to hear
these different broadcasts.
So different people
want to come back on different podcasts
the one for Elder Leonard Davis,
there would be people on giving their testimony.
The one for Pastor Tammy,
there would be people on giving their testimony
of how their different services touched them.
Yeah.
You don't believe me.
You hear it for yourself.
That's what we need, guys.
That's what we need.
So much has been cut out in churches.
They're so quick to get out of service.
They give you a little bit of taste of something.
And before you can really even feel the spirit of the Holy Ghost,
service is already over.
A lot of them don't pray anymore.
You know, I go back to Prophets to Mother A.B. Jackson,
a woman that we lived with and sat at the dinner table with
at her church, at my church that I used.
used to attend Jackson Temple Holy Church.
There was service seven days a week.
Sunday service, of course.
Sunday school.
Yes, Sunday school.
You had, after Sunday school, then you had prayer from 12 to 1.
Yeah, I'm serious.
It sounds crazy, but I'm serious.
Prayer from 12 to 1 on Sunday, Sunday school, prayer from 12 to 1 on Sunday.
Sunday school, prayer from 12 to 1, and then another hour's prayer before service started, and then church.
And then Sunday night service.
And then another prayer before Sunday night service.
Yeah, I mean, I know that was a lot of prayer, right?
A lot.
That's what we need today.
Then on Monday night, it was tearing service.
But don't forget, every day of the week there was three prayer services.
Morning, 9 o'clock, I believe it was, 12 o'clock, noon and 6 o'clock.
And that was every single day.
And then back to the services seven days a week, there were Tuesday night service for the young people.
Yeah, the young people had a night.
Tuesday night was for the young people.
And Mother Jackson most of the times attended all of those services.
Bless our heart.
Tuesday night was young people night.
Their service.
Wednesday night, they had something like business meeting on Wednesday night.
But they still prayed before a business meeting.
So everybody wasn't allowed in the business meeting,
but you could come in and be a part of the six o'clock prayer.
You could do that.
So the business meeting, of course, was for the church.
That was something personal.
But as I said, you still have that 6 o'clock prayer that you could be in.
And then 7 o'clock, go back home happy because you prayed an hour.
Then on Thursday night, it was a Bible study.
Yeah, Bible study.
They studied the Bible.
I was in some of those Bible studies.
Then on Friday night, they went to Colotin, Georgia,
with Deacon Rutherford, his wife.
They had a little church there.
Mother Jackson had a little church there.
And the service used to be held in Deacon Rutherford's home
before they had the church.
God bless his soul.
He's going on to be with the Lord now.
Deacon Rutherford.
But again, before they had service at the church,
they had service in Deacon Rutherford's home.
And I mean, it was packed.
It was packed in that house.
And then when they had church there,
I think it was the first Sunday,
if I'm not mistaken, the first Sundays,
they had church at Coloton, Georgia Church.
Yeah. And on the third Sunday, they had church in Warner Robbins. That was another service. Different service. Warner Robbins, yeah. Mother Jackson was so happy with those places. Those churches, she was so happy.

And thank you so much for taking out my shows right here at iHeartRadio.
Take care.
I'm not all here to just talk about that, you know,
but I just know that we need to go back to those times of prayer.
We need that like never before in these times that we are living in.
Because times are not going to get better.
They are absolutely not getting better.
They're not going to.
I just thank God for those two memorial services
because a lot of so's were fed.
A lot of soes were fed.
A lot of soes were fed for the first time.
Because some people wrote to me,
a lot of people wrote to me and said,
they don't go to church anymore.
They said I want to go to church,
but we just don't go.
It's nothing there.
It's dry.
It's dead.
A lot of people wrote me from different churches all over everywhere.
And they're just telling me how dead churches.
So they said they just don't go.
And they said, that's why we try to watch it on television.
Although it's not nothing there either.
They said, but we try to watch on TV or online because it's just nothing at the church.
It's dead.
That's what different people wrote to me, not pointing out.
any particular charge, but I'm just saying that's what I kind of letter I received.
Gotta go back. Do your first works over.
Got to in order to receive God's blessings.
Got to. And I thank God for obeying his voice and getting the two speakers that I got.
they were absolutely amazing.
They obeyed the spirit of the Lord
and spoke accordingly as what God had given them.
And that's what you gotta do.
Gotta be let by God.
You can't get in the pulpit, being emotional
and throwing off.
Come with the word of the Lord.
speak what the Lord tell you to speak.
And bring God's love because the Lord again is love.
There's a time and season for all things.
There's so many people out there.
The laborers are few.
There's people.
They're out there.
They're out there like never before.
There's so many sick people you wouldn't.
believe how there are so many sick people right now that don't know which way to turn.
They don't know which way to turn.
So they'll get the thing and turn their little television on and look for something and
or get online and try to find something.
People need Jesus.
People need God.
I thank God for my platform.
I do. I thank God for this platform.
And just to think I was about to give it up
back in 2020 before my sister died,
I was about to give it up.
And she said, don't.
And I thank God that I didn't.
And it has reached me by myself.
It has reached thousands of people.
And I'm serious when I tell you that.
It has reached thousands of people
since I started it.
Yeah, it was a source.
slow start, but sometimes things don't always just take off like a rocket. You've got to stick
with it. You've got to stay with it. In order for the Lord to bless it, you've got to stick with something.
You got to keep praying and keep at it, which is what I did. And the Lord blessed it. It's on
so many different platforms right now. And it's reaching so many people.
I don't care that my family don't take it seriously.
I don't care about that.
I used to.
I used to try to say,
come listen, please.
Can you check this out?
You have to send it to them,
and they still say,
I'm busy, I got it.
I'm doing this, I'm doing that.
I mean, this is what different ones said.
Yeah, I'm telling.
You know, they would say, I'm busy.
I'm doing this.
I'm doing that.
But yet you can go and listen to something else or somebody else
at the blink of a hat,
and the drop of a hat.
But the Lord spoke to me so clearly, they're not the ones I'm trying to win.
You reach the ones that are out there who need me.
Stop worrying about trying to win your family or your friends.
Stop trying to gather them up.
The Lord said, you're not going to get them.
Reach for the ones out there.
You speak, record, and let me go at it.
You stop trying to beg your friends and your family.
This is what the Lord said to me, people.
Because that's what I was doing for a couple of years.
I'm trying to tell the family, please, please, please, begging them almost.
So I didn't ask any of them.
Family or friends to speak for this podcast, for this memorial.
And if anyone sit back, poked out lips, I really don't even care.
It wasn't about getting them.
Yes, they knew my sister.
Yes, they were blood.
But it's not about blood all the time.
The podcast would have never,
that Memorial podcast would not have come out
and reach the people like it would have
had I not obeyed the voice of the Lord.
The Lord chose those speakers that I had.
I didn't do it.
The Lord did it.
And the Lord know why he did that.
And people want to come and tell their testimony.
Please can I tell him a testimony?
Like popcorn, they want to tell their testimony.
So two different podcasts.
Elder Davis, people tell him what his service, memorial service did for them.
And Pastor Tammy, people tell you how memorial service did for them.
That, yeah, that would be two different podcasts.
Another service, yes.
With real people, yes.
The Lord moves in mysterious ways.
We just have to learn to obey his voice.
We have to learn to obey the Lord.
When the Lord says something, when you fast and you pray,
God is going to speak to you.
He can't do it now with your mouth with a big hamburger and fries
and seven days a week, feeding your belly.
He can't work with you all.
the time like that. And I'm not telling you to
go out and get your hamburger
your french fries and all that. I'm not telling you to
do that. But
if you want something from the Lord,
you got to
turn that plate over, meaning you got to fast
and pray sometimes.
You got to.
You really got to, to really get
something from the Lord, to really
hear his voice.
Because even
Jesus went into the wilderness,
you're going to be tempted.
you're going to be.
Every time I fast, I'm telling you,
I only eat one meal a day,
and I don't eat very much.
I eat one meal a day.
It's been that way for a long time.
And I'm telling you,
food, try to tempt me.
I feel like work,
everything is just come at me
that normally, that doesn't even bother me.
So you've got to know
when you're fasting,
the enemy,
going to come at you like a flood in every possible way.
I mean, you have to fast from social media.
Yeah, you have to, when you're fasting, you have to fast from all of that,
be it three days, three days and nights.
Even if you're fasting to 6 o'clock, you have to shut off the social media.
Because on there you see a lot of stuff and then you start scrolling, reading, looking.
Yeah, you have to, when you're fasting,
you have to fast from everything, social media and everything,
in order for it to be, you know, successful.
You have to fast from all of that.
And depending on how long you fast is,
if it's three days and nights,
that's almost like a shed in, believe me.
Of course, if you've got a husband or whatever, a wife,
you got to come into agreement with them.
You've got to understand what's going on.
on. It's just, I just thank God for the memorial services. They were a blessing. A big, big,
big blessing. And I, I know, I've got to put together this, and it'll happen in season 10. I got to put together
this testimonial service, these two testimonial services. I got to put that together. I'm just so
thankful to the Lord for being
obedient.
Obedient is better than sacrifice.
I'm thankful to the Lord that
he gave me enough sense to be
obedient. I'm thankful
to the Lord for that.
I'm Regina Sorin. I think I've said
enough.
I
said what I needed to say,
so that's enough.
So thank you again for being
a part of this memorial service.
It's been so wonderful.
all of those people out there who were touched by the different services,
who gave your life to the Lord,
who body was healed because you were sick,
just so many different testimonies.
Thank you.
I look forward to having and hearing your testimony on my podcast
with the different people,
with the different speakers.
I look forward to having you back,
having you on the podcast,
giving your testimony.
Thank you. Thank you, Lord, for being great to me. I thank you, I thank you, I thank you, I thank you.
