Regina Swarn Audio Series Presents - How A Small Faith Podcast Reached 2.8 Million

Fan Mail2.8 million people heard two memorial services from a small audio-only podcast, and I’m still trying to catch my breath while I say thank you. I recorded this with a voice that’s worn out from celebrating and speaking, but my heart is wide awake with gratitude for what God can do when we stop chasing credit and start giving it. If you care about Christian encouragement, gratitude, and real-life testimony, this one is for you. We talk about my sister, Lora L. Swarn, and why I chose to honour her memory with a memorial that lifts up Jesus, especially after the hard realities of July 2020 and the isolation many families felt during COVID. I also share a moment I’ll never forget: sitting overwhelmed with grief, preparing to drive when I probably shouldn’t have, and Elder Leonard Davis coming to my car to pray with me. That prayer wasn’t a performance, it was help at the exact second I needed it. I also celebrate everyone who helped carry the message, from radio stations rebroadcasting the services to YouTubers and friends who shared and talked about them online. Okay, I hope you can understand my voice. I've been doing a lot of talking and a lot of celebrating, you know, and so much has been going on. in my life. So first let me say, welcome back to another episode of Regina Swaring audio series Presents. Did that come across clearly? Oh my God, I hope so. I'm only going to be here for like maybe five minutes or ten minutes or so. But I want to say I am so thankful to the Lord. I'm so thankful to the Lord for his unmarried favor. I think I said that right. And as I said, guys, I've been talking a lot, some of my voices, a little bit, a little bit,

not as clear as I want it to be, but I just wanted to come on here and give a few minutes of thanks, a celebrating thank you to the Lord for all of his greatness. He's so good to me. He's so good to me. waking me up this morning, and I thank God for this podcast. I thank God for this podcast, my podcast, which is a little small podcast. It's nothing big, you know, it's not like one of those huge podcasts. It's audio only. And so, which makes me sit here and thank God and say, oh, my God, look at you. Look at you, Lori. But,

The Bible said, if I'd be lifted up. The Lord said, if I'd be lifted up, I'll draw amen. So bringing you to July from my memorial, my sister's memorial, my beautiful sister, who is safely in the arms of the Lord right now, resting, I wanted to do a memorial service in her honor because she's been gone now, you know, since 22. 20, July. And I just wanted to do a memorial service in our honor, but that honor was to lift up Jesus.

And I'm so thankful that I didn't disappoint. I did not disappoint. By lifting up the Lord and giving God awe, the praises, the Lord blessed it to be hurt that those memorials with Elder Leonard Davis, Man of Prayer, DeLora and Pastor Tammy Watson. Oh, my God. Just a woman of God.

The Lord blessed those memorial services to really do well, to do well, and to be heard on radio, on YouTube. carried it bloggers shared it carried it um

people were just talking about it you know just posting it and they're different um on their different platforms

and I as I said this is a small this is a small podcast it's not a huge big podcast it's small

and God is so good if you lift up Jesus lift up God But it's not telling what he would do for a year. To God be the glory in my life, to God be the glory. And I'm so thankful that this podcast, those two services were heard collectively,

but were heard by 2.8 million people worldwide or around the world, around online, you know. I am so thankful. I stand here right now tonight, and I'm standing right now because I couldn't sit down. I just been walking the floor, just thinking the Lord, like, God,

look at you. Look at you. There's no telling what the Lord would do in our lives if we lift him up, when we lift him up, when we give him all our praise. says. And I thank God because there's no way I can do any of these things. No way. But is Delory? And I thank God for the services in July, the memorial services, again, on behalf of my beautiful sister,

Laura L. Sworn, who passed away July 29, 2020. What a horrible time that was. It was a time of COVID. and, you know, people could not get together and come to funerals and do things like that. So it was a very difficult time back July 2020. It was a time that people could not just come together and be together. So my sister passed away. You know, I just thank God for my dear brother, Elder Leonard Davis. I'll never forget him as I was getting ready to drive back up to a line to Stockbridge. He walked over to me and my heart was so heavy.

He walked over to me as I was sitting in the car so overwhelmed with grief. Oh my God. So did he say grief will kill you. And he walked over to me. He said, I want to pray for you. I want to pray with you. And he grabbed my hands and that man of God prayed with me. I never forget it.

It was God to tell him to do that because my heart was so heavy that thought it was going to burst. I was just so sad because you guys know it was very close to my sister, Laura. We did everything together. We were inseparable, even through death. And he came over to my car,

he walked over to my car, and he just grabbed me by the hands, and he started praying, and that was nobody but the lawyer that left that man of God over to me because I'm telling you right now had he not did that. There's no telling what

would have happened. I had to drive back. I shouldn't have been driving, you know, but I had to drive back to my home and I was just so overwhelmed. My heart was overwhelmed. I was just scared and I was overwhelmed and I was crying and I was,

Really, I shouldn't have been driving at all, you know, but I was driving because there were no one else to drive. So he caught me by the hands, he grabbed me by the hands, and he prayed with me, and I thank God for that. But those two services that I did a couple of months ago, the two podcasts, with Elder Leonard Davis, his wife, sister Donna Davis, and his sister, Sister Dolores, and Pastor Tammy Watson. Bless her heart. She did a podcast as well. And they both were my two guest speakers in July. And when I tell you that the Lord really moved in those services,

he moved. I could not contain myself when Pastor Tammy was speaking. You probably hear it. I was just throughout the whole entire podcast. I was just, I was overwhelmed with thankfulness and gratefulness. God really moved in those two podcasts. And it was carried by four, five different radio, well, it was more radio station.

It was carried by them. They rebroadcast it. And so much they were rebroadcasting. But they rebroadcasted on their different shows at different times. I don't know how many times, but obviously it was a lot of times. YouTubers that I know who were good friends in mine carried the podcast and played it and talked about it and had things to say about it. And I just want to say, I thank them. I thank everyone who supported those two memorial services because together, collectively, they were hurt by 2.8 million people.

around the world, around the United States. I mean, they were heard. And the two speakers, they just didn't, didn't, they wasn't afraid. They spoke as the Lord gave them. It was with power. My pastor, Mother A.B. Jackson used to say, call down power, power, power.

God really moved. Let me tell you, the Lord moved in a mighty, mighty, mighty way. And I'm so thankful I stand here tonight, thanking the Lord for his greatness. If God said, if I'd be lifted up, I draw all men. It was the Lord who was drawing everybody. And I thank God for those two speakers again. You've got to go check them out online. Thank the Lord for all of the listeners. Again, all of the radio stations who showed that unmarried favor. You know, my past uses always say ask and pray and ask God for the favor of people.

So I thank God for the favor. Because if it wasn't for all the different stations that played at and all the different YouTubers who gave me a shout out and did all this, if it wasn't for them, I'm telling you right now, there is no way that 2.8 million people could have heard that podcast. So I'm kind of losing my voice right now, but I just want to say thank you, Lord. I appreciate you everything you are doing in my life, Lori. We are starting season 10 as we speak.

I have a new, I have new music for my podcast. I want to give, you know, when I played a different podcast music, it reached millions of people, thousands of people get a chance to hear that music. And so, for my podcast, I don't know if you heard it this time, but moving forward, you would be hearing God's theme. And it is a track from our CD, my sister, Lord and I CD from years ago, like in 2001, 2001, we released that CD. And so the Lord just let me just take one of the those songs off of there and he pointed me right to God's theme. So in the next podcast, you didn't hear it in this one, but in the next podcast you will be hearing the God's theme as my brand new, brand new, and it'll be new to you. It's not new to me, but it would be brand new to you all.

It'll be my new theme for my show. And it's going to become just as popular, just watch and see. because why? Because just so is really popular. It's moved up the ranks. Oh my God, I'm looking up right now. But, oh, and I felt that. So that's going to be my new podcast theme, which is called God's theme.

And again, if you want to find that, you can find that on our CD from back in the year of 2000. When we were my sister, Lori, and we released that album. them, the Swords Sisters and Friends with Dr. John Thomas, Nathaniel Thomas, and we did that with him. And it was really wonderful. Those were really wonderful times. I'm so glad I had those times, you know. I thank God for that. So that's going to, moving forward, that's going to be my new
