Regina Swarn Audio Series Presents - How Regina Builds A Positive Podcast Space
Episode Date: August 23, 2026Fan MailA lot of people are exhausted right now and it is not just work. It is the constant noise, the hate, the arguing, and the pressure to stay plugged in every minute of the day. I sit down with a... cup of tea and give you a real-life reset, starting with a personal update and a heartfelt reflection on my sister’s memorial month and the support that carried me through. Gratitude is not a performance for me, it is how I stay steady. Then I pull back the curtain on what is next for my show as we move toward Season 10 of Regina Swarn Audio Series Presents. I explain why my interviews are different: I let guests tell their story first, in their own words, and I ask questions after the truth is already on the table. If you love authentic podcast storytelling, faith-based encouragement, and conversations that lift your spirit instead of draining it, you will understand why this format matters. From there, we get practical with everyday peace: putting the phone down while walking, especially around traffic and kids, keeping a clean home that feels calm and healthy, and refusing to watch the news 24-7. I also talk social media boundaries, saving money instead of spending it all, building side hustles, and why I step away from chronic complainers and procrastinators. If you are working on mindset, personal finance habits, and entrepreneurship, this one gives you clear reminders you can use today. Subscribe for Season 10, share this with someone who needs a calmer voice, and leave a review so more people can find the show. What is one habit you are changing to protect your peace?Music Commrcoyÿ Show endSupport the showContact My official website https://www.reginaswarn.comEmail address swarnregina@gmail.com Podcast theme composed by Chris Murphy Elliott

Now, let's take you into an episode of Regina Swarn Audio Series.
Hello here, I'm Regina Sworn.
Welcome back to another episode of Regina Sworn Audio Series presents and have myself.
nice, um,
cup of tea here.
I like,
I love green tea.
But, um,
I really love my green tea here.
So take a sip of that right,
good.
It's good.
So welcome back.
I'll give you a place you can contact me.
Contact me.
At sworn regina
at gmail.com.
Um,
that's the official website
to,
uh,
reach me at
I just can't relax myself here a bit.
How is everyone doing?
I hope you're doing great.
This is my official.
Now, I think I did maybe one or two other podcasts this month.
This is August.
But I am doing a full podcast right now.
And I want to tell you what's been going on with me.
Because I know a lot of you want to know,
last month was such a beautiful month.
Oh my God.
My sister's Memorial Month, it was just awesome.
The great support that I received from the radio stations and from friends and from the public,
from other YouTube channels, and just so much support that I received was awesome.
I mean, out of this world, awesome.
And I said thank
to the Lord for that.
And my two speakers were
outstanding.
Absolutely outstanding.
I had Elder Leonard Davis,
his wife,
Sister Donna Davis,
his sister, Sister Dolores
Davis. Absolutely beautiful.
And then we had Pastor Tammy Watson.
Jeez, what an awesome.
speaker. So last month was awesome. It was great. It was wonderful. And the memorial for my sister
went over just perfect. Received so much adulation attention, hurt by several million people because the
radio stations broadcasted as well. And it was online everywhere. So
a lot of people heard it
so I'm so thankful to God for that
I'm trying not to hold you very long here today
I just want to give you a quick update
which has been going on with me
I've taken time to just kind of
let myself relax a little bit
before going into another month
now we're about to start
season 10 of my very popular
now, very popular.
Podcasts,
Regina Sworn Audio Series,
presents,
it's become so popular
that even to me,
I'm surprised.
I mean, I'm really surprised by it.
I'm like,
oh, Lord,
it's unbelievable.
So I'm truthfully thankful
to the Lord
for all of his grace and his love
and his favor.
Just favor.
My podcast is
about staying positive. I cheer away, shy away from all the negative stuff. So much hate being
spurred. So much hatred going on right now. And this one against that one, that one is against
this one. I'm so happy that you can come to my podcast. You can tune into my podcast. And if you want to
hear about the Lord Jesus are just a good story. Someone telling you their life story. If that's what
you want to hear, then my doors are open for you to stop by. I love it that you're able to
come over here and know that you're going to be uplifted, have your spirit uplifted. And whether it be
good music, good stories, are just on the side of my voice.
I'm so happy that I'm able to bring you something that can at least make you get away,
let you get away from all the stuff that's going on out there right now,
because it's so much, I just see so much hatred right now, so much hate.
So much hate right now.
It breaks my heart.
It breaks my heart that the races are back and forth at each other.
That hurts my heart.
It hurt my heart.
So I'm glad to have a podcast where you can come over and feel enlightened or feel free of all the stuff that's going on.
At least while you're listening to it anyway.
I have one lady said, and I have a lot of people tell me that
at least when I come to and listen to your podcast,
at least I know that for that 30 minutes or 20 minutes or 10 minutes or an hour,
that I'm going to be rewarded with his story or your voice,
or hearing about the Lord,
or hearing about somebody else's story about what the Lord is done for them.
At least for that moment, I know I can come to your podcast
and receive that.
So I'm thankful to God that I'm able to supply that for you.
I've been away basically for the entire month,
you know, getting together things for my new season, season 10.
I have quite a few guests who are actually lined up to be on this new podcast.
Oh, Jesus.
People already contact me.
I have things lined up where people want to be.
be on my podcast. So I received letters and people tell me their story and they let my, the people
that work with me, they tell them the story and then they get back with me. And what can I go from
there, you know? So I do have a list of amazing guests. I mean, absolutely amazing guests for
season 10
and I'm really excited about it
you know
I think you'll enjoy it
I know you will
because they got a story
for you
and my podcast
is about the person
telling you their story
see my podcast is different
than most people
they may go and search
and see what they can ask
the person
they want to ask you
this question
and that question
and that question
well I let the guests
come on my
you tell your story, you are going to be the one telling your story.
And while you tell your story, then I go from there with questions that I want to ask you.
That's the way I do it.
I've been doing it like that from day one, guys.
I'm not going to change it.
If you have to make it very clear to people that be ready to come on my,
my podcast to tell me your story. If you feel you got a story to tell, I want to hear that story.
From there, I ask the questions. And if you're ready for that and you feel like, okay, yeah,
okay, I could do that, didn't do that. And don't be waiting for me to ask you question, question,
because I'm going to hear your story first before I ask the questions. I like it that way.
It's best for me that way. And I give a person a chance to, you know,
hear about you that's never heard about you before.
And nobody in the world can tell you a story better than you can.
No one.
So, yeah, when you come on my podcast, you tell your story.
I don't tell your story.
I do after you tell your story.
While you're telling your story, I ask questions accordingly.
So I want to speak about that real briefly.
Several things I'm speaking about today.
I want to talk about people having their phones.
Cell phones is a great thing to have right now.
But what I don't like is to see people looking down, walking, not paying attention to where they're going, and they're looking down, just looking down at the screen of their podcast.
I'm not their podcast.
At the screen of their phone and not paying attention to where they're going.
I've seen people walking with their children
in busy intersections
or busy streets
and your kids are just walking
almost out in front of cars
and you got your face buried in a darn phone
I hate to see that
I hate that
to see people with their heads
just buried in their phone
it can wait guys
I wanted you just stand somewhere for a moment
if you've got to text somebody
text them then and then if you've got to walk somewhere,
don't be walking with your head down in your phone
and you're going to run into a car,
you're going to run into a person,
you're going to run out into the street.
Pay attention to your surroundings.
Pay attention to where you're going, what you're doing.
Long enough to, if you've got to text a person, text them, do that.
But go ahead and just pay attention to what you're doing.
Then look up, walk,
what you got to do, and then you want to get back to your phone at that point, do that.
But don't bury your head down in your phone and then not paying attention to where you're going.
Not smart at all.
My next thing I want to speak about is a clean house.
I have a person come over several times a week to, you know, just tidy things up for me.
You know what she said to me?
She said, I am getting free money.
It made me feel good because she's telling nothing but the truth.
I keep my place big and span, I tell you.
When you walk into my apartment or my establishment, it is clean.
I do have cats, but people oftentimes ask me,
I thought you had cats.
Where are the cats?
Well, number one, my cats are going to run.
When you enter that door, they're going to run.
They're afraid of you.
If you're scared of them, they're more scared of you.
It's only one of them that will come and greet you,
but he's not going to greet you right away.
He's got to even get to know you a little bit.
But my cats are extremely clean cats.
They're clean.
My apartment is clean.
You're not going to walk into my apartment
and see a sink full of dirty dishes.
Trush running over.
Smells from me wherever.
You know, because sometimes I walk into a person's house
and the place, to be honest, is stink.
Dishes in the sink piled up.
Trash running over.
The dog running around the house.
Poop everywhere.
And you know, the lady tried to,
if they see me coming over, I pull up,
they're trying to clean up real quick, you know,
oh my God, Gina's out there, oh my God.
No, don't do it.
Then keep a clean house.
If you got kids or grandkids laying around the house,
don't let them lay around there and do nothing.
They should be making sure that trash is emptied out.
You shouldn't have any trash in your cans.
Always after dinner, take your garbage out immediately.
Don't let that garbage just sit there overnight.
Don't do that.
And I'm saying don't do it because it causes you to have,
and bugs and fleets and roaches and all kinds of things.
People wonder why they got these things in their home.
Well, maybe because you're not a very good housekeeper.
You can keep your place clean if you want to.
It's all up to you.
But I refuse to go over to a person's house.
I can only do it one time.
But you go over to your house and you can hardly get in the door without it being so much junk laying around.
trashed up in the trash can,
I'm probably not going to come back inside
meet you at the door
or you can come out to my car.
I just cannot say I'm going into a house
to a sturdy or an apartment.
I can't.
And there's no excuse.
I'm not going to listen to excuses.
You know, I just can't,
I can't tolerate that.
And if you've got grown kids,
you've got kids laying around doing nothing,
I don't agree with that at all.
My next thing I'm going to talk about is watching the news 24-7.
I know people that sit there and watch the news from sun up to sundown.
They're keeping up with everything that's going on in the news.
Now, I didn't say that check on the things that's going on in your town.
That's fine.
In my case, I have to know what's going on in my city or what have you,
or what's going on in the world.
I'm not going to sit there all day long looking at CNN, Fox, and all these other stations.
I'm not going to do that.
Or even the local news.
I am not going to do that.
I'm also not going to be on YouTube looking at all of this stuff going on on YouTube.
I'm not going to do that.
There are very few channels that I do watch on YouTube.
And it's specifically for a reason.
You know, I just don't sit there and watch this and this and this.
You know, because I need my peace.
I need to be peaceful.
I need to stay peaceful.
I need to have something to give back to people when they need to speak with me.
And I can't do that if I'm looking at all this stuff all over the TV and listening to all these things on YouTube and watching all this stuff.
I can't do it.
But I love being uplifted by listening to you.
the word of the Lord and listening to good uplifting music.
Not always music where people are screaming and going on,
because there are certain songs that you don't listen to too.
I mean, I do like gospel, but I love that old time gospel music.
I do. I love the old gospel.
And I always tell you Walter Hawkins and that old Andre Crock's music,
those are some of my favorites.
Sandy Patty.
people like that. Those are some of my favorites.
But I do like the easy smooth gospel too, gospel lounge.
I love their music. It's just kind of jazzy, but I love it.
You know, it's just something sweet.
And, you know, that uplifts the spirit.
Not always people in their screaming.
You know, I'm not saying anything is wrong with that kind of gospel music to each
as own, but for me, I kind of steer away from that.
The next thing on my list to talk about is living on social media, Facebook, TikTok,
Instagram, whatever the other ones are.
The one that I use most is Instagram.
I message my friends there on Instagram.
I keep in contact with businesses.
your Instagram, mostly.
Facebook, I schedule my post over there.
Sometimes you catch me there every now and then, but I don't live there.
In other words, I'm not just there all day long, strolling, see who's doing what, and see who's
I don't have time for that, you know, whatever people are doing, they're doing, congratulations.
But I don't have time to sit there and watch your life and be entwined with everything
that's going on. I just
personally talking about myself, I just don't
have the time for it.
But I do,
I'm pretty active on Instagram.
That's my favorite.
Instagram is my favorite.
But I'm not even there every
second of the day.
You know, I go there maybe once a day
to make a post or whatever.
And I even schedule a post for my Instagram as well.
So first,
TikTok goes. I don't use
TikTok.
I do have a TikTok, but I don't use it.
Twitter, I don't use Twitter at all.
I tried to, I tried, but I don't use it.
So I don't use Twitter.
Telegram, I do have an old telegram that I used when my sister Lord was alive.
But I don't use that either, so truthfully, I really don't use anything,
Instagram, but Facebook, again, scheduled post for Facebook. And my YouTube, I'm getting that started.
Not quite yet, but guys, just be patient with me, please. I'm getting it together.
It's the best I could say as where as my YouTube goes. I just over a few more things I'm
to tell you about. I started my own business outside of online. I've opened up a few business.
and I feel like they're going to be quite successful. I know they are.
Decided to get the businesses located in some very wonderful areas. I didn't want the business to be in a
rundown area. I wanted to be in a high traffic area, but an area that's really pleasant.
That's very nice. So we got
three, four different locations.
And I'm thinking about getting another location,
location in Locust Grove, McDonough,
Griffin, what do you want to call it?
But in a nice area, I just like things to be in a very nice area.
An area where people get traffic, you know, a lot of good traffic,
but a nice area.
The next thing I want to talk about is
is not how much you make,
but how much you save.
Now, a lot of people say, well, I don't make anything.
I have to pay all of my bills.
I have to do this.
They can always have this little smart attitude behind it.
I don't care what I say.
People always come back with a really smart
snapping their finger attitude.
You know, and I just said one lady I said,
Well, it's not really how much you make, but how much you save.
Be wise with that, you know, because a lot of people would say they make all of this money.
Well, congratulations to you.
But how much of that are you putting aside?
There are some things that I hold off on doing, you know, like I don't go get my hair done.
Every week, every two weeks, I can afford to do that if I want to.
I just don't.
I don't feel like I need to.
Sometimes I just wash my hair and go.
My nails and all of that.
I treat myself very now and I get that done to get that done.
You know, but I don't go overboard.
You know, do I have people door dash and all that bringing me food?
No, I don't. That is me now. I prefer fixing my own food. I prefer that. I do have a person that comes over three times a week that prepare meals. And there's a reason behind that. And she's awesome. She's absolutely awesome. But as far as ordering out, I don't do that at all. I don't do that to order out.
I just don't.
I take time and save that money.
I don't care how much I got.
Again, go back to the other saying,
it's not how much you make, but how much you save.

And thank you so much for checking out my shows right here at
iHeart radio.
Take care.
And a lot of times
people get money
before they can get it, it's gone because
they're just not used to
holding onto it or saving it
of putting it aside for a rainy day.
Instead, they just spin, spin, spin,
which a lot of times
keep you broke.
I hate when people say that they're broke,
but I do understand why they're broke
because you, guess what?
You said,
that you broke. So that's why you broke. So that's another thing I had to say that.
Complain all the time. I want to speak on that briefly. Why do you spend more time complaining than
giving thanks? If the Lord woke you up this morning, or if you feel like you woke yourself up or whatever,
because some people, they don't want to acknowledge the higher power, I don't care what. They don't want to
say that they're saying I'm not a religious person. They don't want, they rather just say,
well, something woke me up. Okay, whatever woke you up. Why are you complaining all the time?
I refuse to be around a person that complains all the time, whether they're complaining about
how much money they make, how much money they don't have, their life, the work that they do
or don't do. I don't like to be around people like that. And I find ways of getting away from a person.
When I find out that you are a chronic complainer or a procrastinator,
I find ways of getting away from you.
I really do.
I'd be trying to ease away from you.
And before it's all over, I'm totally away from you altogether
because I don't like a person that complain, complain, complain, complain, complain, complain.
I've had people said to me, they're going to do something.
And that's my next thing I'm talking about.
keep saying I will start soon, a business or whatever.
So that falls in the line of complaining.
When I am around a person that is complaining all the time
are procrastinating about what they're going to do,
I'm going to do this, I'm going to do that, I'm going to do this.
And a lot of people have been saying they're going to do things for years.
I know one guy he's still talking about,
he's going to do thus and thus and this and that.
Do you know that guy is still saying the same thing
10 years later or better?
The same thing.
He's saying the same thing because he never meant to move further.
See, people complain, complain, procrastinate.
I cannot be around people like that.
I refuse to be around chronic complainers, chronic procrastinators.
I refuse that, and I don't let myself be in that type of a company.
I'd rather be around people who are uplifting, positive-minded, you know,
I love that type of person or people.
I don't waste my time with people who complain all the time.
I don't waste my time with people who are down and out.
all the time.
I ain't got this or I ain't got
that or I need
this or I
trust me if I'm around a person
like that
before you know it I'm away from that kind of person
I get away from them
slowly but surely
because I can't stand that type of
I can't stand that kind of person
I just really can't
I like to be around people
who are uplifting to me
and we uplift one
another that I like. I'm so thankful to what God is doing for my podcast. It's grown. You know,
I started it in 2020 with the encouragement of my sister Laura. And I'm so glad that I did.
It has grown and got more popular over time. And I'm so thankful to the Lord for all that he
is done in my life. So I just want to talk to you briefly today.
um season 10 will be starting in september but this month i was just taking this month to handle my
outside businesses because i do have some businesses that i'm doing on the side and um that's what
i've been doing and that takes time and even that when you got a business um it keeps you busy
and you can have more than one business you don't have to have just one business you don't have to have just one
A person can have a job and have five or six other side hustles.
It's nothing wrong with having several ways of income.
You know, it's nothing wrong with that.
Matter of fact, I encourage that to have several incomes coming in.
Not just one, but quite a few.
If you're good at something, I mean, market it.
Put it out there.
Do it.
Whatever.
And don't just be tied down to something.
somebody's job. But get something for yourself. A lot of people tell me, one lady said the other
day, I think it was a couple of days, a couple of weeks ago, she said, oh, I'm going to be,
I'm going to start in another department, and I'm going to be making all this money, and I'm going to,
and I'm going to be doing it. I asked her, I said, well, how much are you going to be making?
She said, I'm going to be making $20 an hour. I was like, really?
I guess I was thinking she was going to say she's going to be making quite a bit.
You know, and I see some of the healthcare people.
You can never make as much money as you can if you work for yourself.
Working for yourself is the best way to go.
If you got a skill, if you cultivate that skill and be the best with that skill that you can be,
build on that skill, work around that skill,
get something going for yourself, work for yourself.
Sure, I'm not telling you to quit your job by no means.
But at the same time, have something for you, like on down the road.
You might want to say goodbye to the job.
Who knows?
But have something for yourself.
There's no amount of money that you can make working for someone else that will beat what you can be.
what you can make working for yourself if you got the right job skill and you know what you're doing
and it's your own business trust me there's no better way to go than working for yourself so if you
get a skill and you've got something that you're really really good at work on that make it your best
and while you're working for someone else yeah take the time
to build on your own self, build for what you can do.
You know, there's nothing wrong with trying.
I don't think so.
So thank you for tuning in today.
I'm Ritina Swerin.
You can contact me at Swornrita at gmail.com.
I do hope all of you are well.
If you got your help,
if God is giving you your health and your strength,
to me there's nothing greater than that.
There's no amount.
of money that's better than having good health, being in good health. Because if you got your
health and you got your strength, then there's hope. There's hope for tomorrow. Because you can use
your hands and you can do things for yourself. But when you're down in your health and your health
is fail you, that's when you got a problem. But if you got your health, be thankful. Be grateful. Be grateful.
Thank the Lord for another day.
Thank the Lord for life, health, and strength.
Because when you don't have that, then that's when you got a problem.
Again, you can contact me at Swarineretina at T-mail.com.
God bless you.
Stay safe at here.
Take care.
Okay, that concludes another great broadcast.
