Regina Swarn Audio Series Presents - If Facebook Is Times Square I Am Taking The Side Street
Episode Date: October 10, 2026Fan MailFacebook says we’re “online,” messages pile up, and suddenly the simplest thing becomes hard: actually reaching the person you’re trying to reach. I’m Regina Swarn, and I’m drawing... a clear line for our community. If you need me to see something, email is the best way to contact me, because I’m not sitting on Facebook like people assume. I share why I schedule posts, why the feed feels like congested city traffic, and how protecting your attention is part of protecting your peace. Then we turn toward what matters most: the conversations we need to have out loud. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is here, and I’m preparing special topics, guests, and rebroadcasts from women who have shared their lives on my platform. I also announce a deeply personal domestic violence special called Love Doesn’t Hurt. I speak from the soul about red flags, what happens when we overlook them, and how quickly “hope it gets better” can turn into real danger. I’ll be bringing tips and hotlines for anyone who needs support. We close with gratitude and resilience. I reflect on reaching 2.8 million listeners, why I give God the credit, and why criticism won’t stop this work. I also share the longer story of this podcasting journey, including the push I received to keep going, even in grief. If this message helps you, subscribe, share the episode with someone who needs it, and leave a review. Welcome to Regina Sworn Audio Series Presents, where I bring you stories of people from all walks of life.
I'm your host, Regina Sworn.
Contact me at Sworn Regina at gmail.com.
Now, let's take you into an episode of Regina Sworn Audio Series Presents.
Hey there, I'm Richard Sourne.
Welcome back to another episode, sorry,
Virginia Sourn, Audio Series presents.
Thank you all so much for being the best part of my show.
I appreciate all of you.
All of you, whoever is listening right now, God bless you.
And I truly, truly mean that from my heart.
I don't know if some people like to say from the bottom of my heart.
I mean from, from.
Every single part of my heart, all of my heart.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Oh, me God.
Thank you.
So welcome back.
Mm.
Now, guys, let me tell you right off the bat.
The best way to contact me is through my email, which is what a lot of people do.
And that's at swornretina at chemail.com.
Again, that's my last name, then my first name.
dot
gmail.com
Oh, whatever, whatever.
Let me do it again.
Swornregina
at gmail.com.
Very simple.
Did I just make that simple?
Harder is simple.
Oh, my God.
I didn't mean to.
So that's the best way to reach me
because I do not,
and I'm going to repeat this,
I am not at Facebook.
Just because you see that green light on
over there,
doesn't mean I'm over there, guys.
I post.
Sometimes I leave that light on.
I turn it on.
It could be on for a whole year.
It doesn't mean I'm there because it's on.
And a lot of people think, oh, she's here.
Let me send her a message.
Because they do have three profiles.
One little profile with some special friends.
Another little profile with some special friends.
And then my fan page.
But the very best way to contact me is through email, you know.
And my close, close friends, I'm talking my clothes, close friends.
They reached me through text messages on my phone.
So, that's the way that goes.
Yippity, yippity, yay.
So, no, I'm not at Facebook like that.
I do schedule post.
I'm going to tell you why I'm not at Facebook like that anymore.
Well, number one, because I'm busy, guys.
I do have a personal life.
And I also have a business life.
So combined the two of them, I'm really busy.
A lot of people say, I'm busy, and they're sitting at home, watching TV, eating, going to the store.
I'm not talking about that kind of busy, guys.
I'm talking about I'm really, really busy.
I have a life at the hospital, and then I have a life, my business life with my business life.
business. So I'm truly busy. You know, you combine the two of them and you put them together.
And if you will spend a day in my shoes, you would be tired, trust me. So I don't have time to be over at Facebook.
There's a lot of things I love about social media like Facebook, but there are things I don't like.
It reminds me, Facebook reminds me, especially Facebook and a lot of the other social media too, but especially Facebook.
It reminds me of New York City downtown in traffic.
It's too congested over there.
Post here, post there.
You don't know where to freaking look.
I stopped by Facebook to schedule post.
I'm going to tell you, I'm being honest.
with you guys, the reason I stopped by there to schedule post and I stopped by to look at or read
writings of my dear brother, Elder Leonard Davis, because his post and the things he post
really encourages my heart. It really encourages me. So if I'm going to stop by Facebook and when I
stop by Facebook, I stopped by there to check out Elder Leonard Davis post. That's
That's why I stopped by and to schedule post.
So while I'm there, I do occasionally check a couple of things out that people try to send me.
You know, but if you've got a picture you want me to see or you got something you just want me to see, guys, please.
And I'm begging you for this.
Please email me at soaring retina at gmail.com.
That is my official.
email address.
Email it to me. I'll see it. I'll see it. I promise you.
At some point, maybe not right away, but at some point I'm going to see it.
But again, Facebook has gotten so congested. It's like walking into traffic.
You know, oh, God, it's just too congested for me.
And so when I go there, I try to get away from there as quickly as I can.
I'm not wanting to sit there and read this one's post, that one's post,
see what's going on, and I'm not wanting to do that, guys.
So again, if you're doing something, you're posting something,
you just want me to see it, you must, and I repeat that,
you must get it over to me through email, and I promise you, I get it.
Think about it.
Think about what I just said.
Facebook is like walking down the street in New York City, especially New York City a few years ago.
I'm not talking about New York City now, but New York City, say 10 years ago.
When you was walking into people like you see on the movies, just shoulder to shoulder.
That's the way Facebook is to me, guys.
It's too congested.
I mean, it drives me nuts.
Post are everywhere.
Podcasts are everywhere.
I get sidelined with all of that stuff that's over there.
Seriously.
So the very best way to reach me to contact me is
swornrugina at gmail.com.
That's the best way.
That's the only way.
Had to say that.
I want to make one more quick suggestion to you guys.
You guys know that several things is going on this month
or the next several months.
This month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
I want you to join me for some very special topic, very special guests,
and some rebroadcasts of posts of women who has been on my podcast talking about their lives.
It follows right up on the domestic violence.
I also have a very, very special show for,
domestic violence. Very, very special guys. You've got to join me for that. Love doesn't hurt.
I'm not sure if the poster is up yet, but it will be up very soon. It would give you the date and all that good stuff.
Love doesn't hurt. Join me for that. I'm speaking from the soul. I may be crying at times because
I know too many cases of domestic violence. I have some tips. I have. I have.
some hotlines for you out there who need it. Love doesn't hurt. I'm here to tell you love
doesn't have to hurt. So often people are willing to run into a relationship and to be into a
relationship just to say, I got a man or I got a woman, whichever one it is, and you're running
right into trouble. And sometimes you don't even know. You don't even know your partner like that.
You don't know them until you get into the relationship with them and then those red flags.
But those red flags are always there.
Sometimes we choose to overlook them hoping that they'll get better.
It'll be better.
Let me tell you ladies.
Let me tell you gentlemen, it's not going to get better.
It's going to get worse and worse and worse.
Until it's domestic violence where you are being abused.
and a lot of times you bring your children into this kind of stuff.
You lose your life.
They lose their life.
Families are broken because of domestic violence.
Mental health is at an all-time level, guys.
All-time level.
It breaks my heart.
Totally breaks my heart.
So please join me for that special show.
Love doesn't hurt.
And like I say, the poster will be floating around very, very soon.
That's a special show.
And, of course, birth cancer awareness month.
Cancer Awareness Month have family members who lost their life to cancer.
I'm going to be talking to some people.
And I'm going to be, yeah, that's going to be a very touchy one right there.
Cancer Awareness, because, quote, unquote, people say it runs in your family,
oh, you better go get checked, you're going to be scared.
I get checked, but I'm not going to be scared.
I'm not going to run away from something.
I'm not going to do that.
I'm going to face it head on, as I should.
And so there's so much to look forward to this month at Regina Swarren audio series presents.
I want to thank each and every one of you for being the best part of my podcast.
Again, I want to thank those out there who tuned in.
in July to help me receive the 2.8 million listeners.
I said it and I'll say it again.
2.8 million listeners.
And people got the nerve to write me to say,
oh, you're just bragging on that.
That is nothing.
You just brag, brag, brag, brag.
I think God, God don't mind me bragging on him.
Not once if I bragged on myself.
I say, to God be the glory.
I always give God his promise.
I always praise God.
I always give God the credit.
And I'm going to continue.
I'm not going to let a few jealous people out there get behind their pen
and start to write all these crazy, pathetic things.
God be the glory.
God is the chief in my life.
God is the one that I look up to.
In all my ways, I acknowledge the Lord,
and he direct my path.
Even with this podcast,
Lord directs my path.
And I'm not going to let a few jealous people
or a few people who sit behind a computer
because a lot of these people are not going to say it to your face,
but they sit behind a computer, they're bold, they're bad,
and they sit there and write all of these little things.
Mean, hurtful things sometimes.
But I will not be stopped.
God is the chief of my podcast.
God is the reason I do this podcast.
And I didn't just start podcasting because everybody else is podcasting.
This podcast has been going on literally since 2017.
If you want to really go back, I started it with radio.
Shortly at the radio, I continued it.
And I made it official in 2020 with my sister on her deathbed saying,
don't give it up.
Keep doing it.
And thank God I did.
So that 2.8 million people in July is a reason.
I gotta give credit to my sister Laura.
Her memorial service received 2.8 million listeners across radio, across YouTube, across bloggers.
You ask me, how do you receive that kind of number?
When radio announcers, popular radio announcers,
rebroadcast this podcast continuously, people are listening out there.
You may not be listening, but people are listening.
And I thank God that I continue this podcast.
And I will continue it as long as the Lord give me life.
So thank you all for listening.
I just wanted to say that I have to give God his praises.
Because the Lord is the honor.
He's the head of my life.
He's the head of my life.
So I give him all of my praises.
the Lord, the one, the only.
The Jesus Christ.
Yeah, I said it.
I'm not going to take you back.
I said what I said.
I'm not going to take you back.
Thanks for joining me on Regina Soren.
Again, you can contact me
at Swornregina
at gmail.com.
God bless you all. Be safe out there.
It's very dangerous out there in this crazy world.
Be safe, guys. Be safe, ladies.
be careful.
And please join me for that special domestic violence conversation.
Thanks again.
Take care of yourself and I'll see you soon.
Okay, that concludes another great broadcast.
Thank you so much for joining me for Regina Swarine Audio Series.
If you'd like to be a part of this series, please send me an email at Swarind Regina at gmail.com.
I want to thank all of my wonderful friends, fans, and guests for being a part of this show.
Most of all, I like to thank the Lord.
Until the next time, take care of yourself and be safe.
