Regina Swarn Audio Series Presents - Planning A Sister’s Memorial With Prayerful Guidance
Episode Date: July 24, 2026Fan MailSome months don’t just feel busy, they feel spiritual. July has been that for me: heavy with grief, loud with news, and still strangely full of gratitude. I’m Regina Swarn, and I’m shari...ng what it’s like to carry loss while choosing joy on purpose, including why I can listen to some of the recordings from my last conversations with my sister Lora and why I can’t play the ones that hold her regrets. The good outweighs the bad, and I’m holding tight to the “grace years” when she was happiest. This memorial podcast is personal, but it’s also a testimony about guidance. I talk about how the Lord laid this memorial on my heart, how I didn’t want to do it in my own mind, and why I’m thankful I didn’t have to figure out every detail alone. You’ll hear me honour two powerful voices who will be part of these services: Elder Leonard Davis, a true man of prayer, and Pastor Tammie Watson, a young minister with a testimony and a voice that moves people. If you care about Christian encouragement, prayer, healing, and community remembrance, these conversations are for you.We also get practical about calling and confidence. I share why I’ve stayed audio-first, how an audio-based podcast can still reach millions organically, and why comparison is a trap that stops good people from starting. The message is simple: use what you got, be yourself, and take the first step, because obedience is often all God is waiting on.If this speaks to you, subscribe, share it with someone who’s grieving or rebuilding, and leave a review so more listeners can find the memorial series and the encouragement behind it.Music Show endSupport the showContact My official website https://www.reginaswarn.comEmail address swarnregina@gmail.com Podcast theme composed by Chris Murphy Elliott

Now let's take you into an episode of Regina Swarn Audio Series.
Hello there, I'm Regina Swarn.
Welcome back to another episode of Regina Sworn Audio Series presents.
it has been one month of church.
It just feels like it's been church
with everything going on this month.
There's a lot of stuff going on in the news
and just a lot of things.
And generally, this month,
and I'm going to be honest,
is normally a very sad month for me.
And I'm not going to say that it hasn't had as challenges.
I'm not going to say that
because there are the moments that I would think of my sister's Laura and, yeah, and I think
of our conversations.
But I recorded our last conversations, the last maybe four or five months.
Anyway, I got like 113 conversations.
And listening to them, I'm just, a lot of them just fill me with conversations.
complete joy. I mean, just to hear her voice and we're laughing, we're talking, and oh my God,
so many great things. Now, some of them were sad, and those are the ones that I can't listen to
that I don't want to play. I don't want to play her regrets. I don't want to play things that she
told me because some things like I said, I would take to my grave. And so I don't want to play
those things because it's just too sad, too depressing.
But the good outweigh the bad.
The good outweigh the bad.
And I'm so thankful to the Lord that I recorded our last conversations.
You know, our last few months after our mother was late.
The rest, Mother sworeen, was late to rest in January.
I just thank God for this memorial because the Lord laid it on my heart to do this memorial.
He laid it on my heart, the speakers, who he wanted me to get to speak.
I didn't want to do this in my own mind, because if it had to be me doing this memorial,
I would have just probably chosen some different speakers and been all over the place, you know?
But I think the Lord that he was the one that chose the speakers.
He's the one.
And I've said this before.
He was the one that did everything.
I mean, everything.
And everybody has been so wonderful.
The radio stations and the people who are just showing support,
I felt that my sister deserved a memorial.
You know, when you do great things in the community
and when you do great things in life,
my sister learned and I, we labored in Jackson Temple Holy and His Church.
for years and years and years.
We labored and we did programs and things for the church.
And, you know, yeah, I just felt like my sister deserved this memorial.
And I thank God that he put it on my heart to do this.
You know, I'm sitting here thinking about my two speakers right now.
How amazing they are.
How wonderful.
how the Lord speak, has spoken, will speak to these individuals.
I mean, this is amazing.
You know, I'm thinking of Elder Leonard Davis, the man of prayer,
my dear brother, his sister, his wife.
You know, I'm just thinking about when we get together
how it's such a wonderful prayer service, you know, and I feel so uplifted.
I do.
I feel uplifted when I have a prayer meeting with Elder Leonard Davis, the man of prayer,
and his sister, Dolores, and his wife, Donna Davis.
I feel uplifted when I do a prayer meeting or a prayer service or a podcast with them.
I feel up, up, up, up and away.
Ulipped, uplifted.
Also, my dear young minister,
Pastor Tammy Watson.
Oh, my Lord, the one and only.
That young lady, I've known her since she was a little girl.
And not to make myself sound so old.
but I've known this young lady since she was a little girl
and the Lord has taken her higher, higher, I mean totally higher in him.
You know, when she speak, the things that God give her to speak and to say,
oh my God, you guys got to hear her on that Memorial podcast.
You got to hear that on Tuesday.
You got to hear that.
You got to hear that.
The Lord speaks through that young woman, I'm telling you.
She has a testimony.
And our late pastor used to say, a voice that troubled the world.
And she got that type of voice.
You know, when I hear her sing, she sung a little piece of the song on the podcast.
She's going to look, I don't want to see her and give away too much, you know.
I can't do that.
I don't want to give away too much.
But I thank God.
I thank God for being so great.
So you got to join me for these two services.
Sunday, July 26th with Elder Leonard Davis.
And Tuesday, July 28th with Pastor Tammy Watson.
That young lady voice is so powerful.
I mean, oh, oh, God.
I thank the Lord, first and foremost, for leading me and guiding me with this memorial.
I didn't, in the beginning, I didn't know what to do.
I was like, God, God, what do you want me to do?
You say, do this, and what do you want me to do?
And the first thing, it was like, okay, fast and pray.
And I'll lead you accordingly.
So when you fast and pray, the Lord does, he does he, he does the rest.
He'll do the rest.
You just get out of the way and let the Lord do his thing.
And he's going to do his thing.
Trust and believe that.
So I thank the Lord.
Oh, my God.
I just totally thank the Lord for, oh, my God, just being so great, you know?
I thank you for being great and wonderful and all the above.
I thank God for everything.
I really do.
So all I can say is join.
Join me on Sunday, I'm going to say that again. Join me Sunday, July 26. Elder Leonard Davis.
Join me. The man of prayer will be there.
Podcast with power, power, power.
And Tuesday, lots God's willing.
Pastor Tammy Watson, July 28.
with power, power, power under the anointing.
Because the anointing is what breaks the yokes.
And I know a lot of people, I have a huge platform,
and I know a lot of people besides my platform,
my platform reaches besides that, you know,
it goes beyond that.
You know, I'm thanking God for my different reels.
I have rules that's over five,
six and seven million views, and a lot of them are thousands of views.
And I mean organic, you know, a lot of people say, oh, it's not real.
They are organic, guys.
Organic, meaning no pay, no play, none of that crap.
I mean, people are actually listening.
And I think it was, is God who put the people in place to listen?
Or to watch.
My stuff is audio-based.
Tell me that's not God.
Myself is audio bass.
Sure, I can get in front of the video,
have my hair looking pretty,
have on my beautiful outfit,
my nails all done and all that.
I could do that if I want to.
I chose years ago to stick with the radio way.
That's just me, okay?
That's something that I do.
It's not because I'm ashamed.
I'm definitely not ashamed of the way of look.
I'm not ashamed of any of that.
It's just that I love it that people can drive down the highway or when they're going out of town and that they can listen to my podcasts and it's audio.
They can listen.
They don't have to worry about watching anything.
You know, so the Lord is my shepherd, guys.
I don't know who your shepherd is, but the Lord is mine.
And I shall not want.
So I'm just thankful to the Lord.
Lord for just being great this month.
He's really moved in a mysterious way.
And he's just been great.
That's all I can say.
You know, I want to remember my sister, Laura,
as she was when she was up and singing with me
and doing our Mother Jackson era.
Because there's a Mother Jackson era for me.
You know, when Mother Jackson was here alive,
and when we lived with her and wrote with her,
and went out to dinner with her and set at the dinner table with her.
I want to remember my sister in those days.
I don't want to remember her in the last stages of her life with the cancer.
Those were sad times and times after her death.
I don't want to remember that.
I want to remember getting messages.
Oh, my God.
I don't want to remember her in those great years, those grace years,
those gracious years when she was most happy.
That's how I want to remember my sister.
I don't want to remember the death part.
I just, I can't do that because you all know after her death.
I did have a nervous breakdown.
It was just too much on me.
And, yeah, I don't want to make this about myself,
but I just want to, again, thank my speakers.
I want to thank my speakers,
and I want to thank everyone who's rallied around me,
the radio stations, and everyone who's rallied around me
to do video.
you know, everyone who's rallied around me,
everyone who's rallied around me with the music
and, you know, just stepped up to the play, I should call it.
I am so grateful that God put people in place.
See, sometimes we think no one is listening,
no one wants to listen, you know,
and in the beginning, it was like my cute little voice,
no one's listening,
but I have to always remember what my sister,
Dolores said on her deathbed, Gina, don't stop doing this podcast.
You know?
And so I thank God.
I think God he has opened a door because trust and believe there's an audience out there for you.
No matter what you are doing, if it's in God's will, of course, there's an audience for you.
You may think, and I thought with my pretty little.
the voice and my little singing and all I can do is tell my testimony.
The Lord said, go, take that right there.
Take that.
Everybody is not going to come across the same way.
You know, I cannot come across like Pastor Tammy Watson.
I can't come across like the man of prayer, Elder Linda Davis.
I can't come across like my sister, my late great sister Laura, or my sister Pearl,
or Mother A.B. Jackson.
I can't come across like them, but what I can do is use what I got.
God gave me a gift. God said use what you got, Regina.
Use what you got, and I would take that, and I will build on that.
We'll start building a house, and in the end, the house would be built, and it would be beautiful.
But you got to use what you got, Regina.
The Lord said use what you got.
Don't try to be nobody else.
You cannot be anybody else.
I can't even try to pray like Elder Leonard Davis.
I can't do that.
I can't even try to speak like Pastor Tammy Watson.
I can't do that.
But what I can do is take what I got out to the public,
because someone is waiting for that.
So everybody in their own individual way got something to offer.
for just go and do it.
So if you're out of listening today and you think,
I just can't do it.
I can't do a podcast.
I can't go preaching.
I can't.
You got to start.
We are living in the last days, guys.
We're living.
Time is not going to get any better.
We need somebody out there taking the word,
whether you're taking it in a way like Pastor Tammy Watson,
whether you're taking it like the man of prayer or to Linnett Davis,
if you're taking it like that, or if you're taking it like me.
but just get up and go and do it
Get up, go and do it
Get up, go and do it
Don't worry about I can't do it like her or her
Believe it not, you got people out there saying
I can't do that like Regina Swarin, I can't do that
Believe it not, people have said that to me
What?
Me? Little me, little. I just look at myself
as someone just very, very, very,
little. I mean, I'm not talking in size. Well, in size two. I mean, I'm only 411. 109 pounds, but
in size I'm little, but I mean, in general, you know, I just look at myself as, I don't want to say
as nothing, but I want to look at it for myself as just, just so nobody, you know? And God has
used me to reach thousands of people, my platform. So go and do something. Don't just sit around
looking at other people and thinking, I can't do like her.
No, you can't do like her or him, but be you.
Do you.
And that's what God wants.
Because when you are yourself, when you be yourself, God can use you because you're coming from scratch.
He can make you and moat you from scratch.
So go today. Go.
But yeah, y'all, be ready.

Watson. Yay! Yay! I'm so thankful to God that I obeyed him to do this memorial. I'm thankful because
I was a little afraid. You know, I had, I was just really afraid in the beginning. Like, what can I do?
What do you want me to do? How am I going to do a memorial? Me? What do you want me to do?
And when God told you to do something, there's a reason behind him telling you that.
that. He's going to do the rest. He just want to see if you're going to be obedient in making that
first step. See, because he already know what he's going to do. It's already put in the plan. The cake
is already made. It's where the Lord goes. But he wants to see if you're going to start putting out
the equipment to make the cake. I don't know if it's making any sense to you guys, but
