Regina Swarn Audio Series Presents - We celebrate every voice, every culture, and the courage it takes to tell a story

Episode Date: October 5, 2025

Fan MailEver wonder what happens when you put curiosity ahead of judgment and let a story unfold in its own voice? That’s the energy we bring to the mic as we share why conversations—not hot takes...—are the heart of our show. We tip our hat to legends like Barbara Walters and Rona Barrett, the interviewers who taught us that empathy, rigor, and patience can draw out the truth better than any scripted moment. Their influence shapes our approach: ask honest questions, listen closely, and give guests room to own their narratives. We unpack our mission to welcome voices from every walk of life—musicians, public figures, and everyday people with uncommon journeys. Some tales will challenge you, others will comfort you, and a few might do both in a single breath. We talk about staying open when you don’t agree, and why choosing to listen can turn friction into understanding. Along the way, we spotlight original music from Chris Murphy Elliott, a talented artist whose work sets a thoughtful tone for our conversations and links back to our first guest, Murphy Elliott. It’s a reminder that stories are connected—across families, cultures, and generations. If you’re looking for a feed that values depth over noise, this is your place. We’re building a community that honors nuance, credits creators, and invites you to step forward with your own chapter when you’re ready. Subscribe, share with a friend who loves a good origin story, and leave a review to tell us which conversation stayed with you—and whose story we should feature next.Reaching for 🌟  The end of my showSupport the showContact swarnregina@gmail.com

And how many of you remember Mary Turner off the record? Yeah. All are my favorites, which inspired me to do my podcast. And just have a conversation with my guests is what I do. So Regina Swarn Audio Series presents, Bring You Stories of People,
Starting point is 00:01:56 from all around the world, all walks of life, musicians, politicians, people. So it might be a story that you may not want to hear. Well, maybe don't tune in that week. But don't judge because the stories I'm going to bring to you are of people from all walks of life, every demographic, every color you can think of, all cultures. I just want to bring you that story. I just want to bring you that story. And that's what my podcast is all about. Some of my favorite people, they passed on, they've gone now, Ron and Barrett, is when, if you're young enough, old enough, or to remember Ron and Barry, she was just awesome. And the way she interviewed people, I loved it. Barbara Waters, you know? These are people that I really, really loved.
Starting point is 00:02:51 I got to just, I watched them to just, my sister asked me Wednesday. She said, you know what you think you are? Barbara Walters. It was so funny. But I say that to say this. I love talking to people and hearing their different stories because everybody got a story. So that's why I say don't judge because it's their story to tell. You may not agree with everything.
Starting point is 00:03:17 I don't agree with everything people say. But if you got a story, I'm going to listen to that story, you know? I'm going to listen to that story because why? It is your story. And there's a public out there who wants to hear your story as well. So I thank you so much to all of you who are signing up to be a part of my show. It's really great. I love it.
