Regina Swarn Audio Series Presents - What Does It Mean To Build A Platform For God
Episode Date: September 29, 2026Fan Mail2.8 million listens is a big number, but what stays with me is the personal side of it: the quiet decision to keep going when it felt like nobody was hearing me. Season 10 is here, and I’m s...haring the real story of how this podcast almost ended after just a few recordings, until my sister Lora, while battling cancer, looked me in the eye and told me not to stop. That one sentence still pushes me forward every time doubt tries to take the mic.I also reflect on the July memorial service recordings and why they mattered so much. I talk about the speakers who brought scripture, testimony, and straight truth, including Elder Leonard Davis and Pastor Tammie Watson, and why I believe God directed those choices through fasting and prayer. I even share the moment someone overheard the message and said they wanted to give their life to God, a reminder that faith-based audio can reach hearts in ordinary rooms, not just sanctuaries. Then we get practical: kindness costs nothing, but it can change a day. I speak on being real, dropping negativity, and setting boundaries that protect your peace, including why I don’t let everyone into my home and how to say no without being mean. I also share plans to create children’s Bible stories, because little kids deserve something uplifting to listen to too.If you’re looking for Christian encouragement, a faith and life podcast, or a reminder to keep planting good seeds, press play and come spend this time with me. Welcome to Regina Sworn Audio Series Presents, where I bring you stories of people from all walks of life.
I'm your host, Regina Sworn.
Contact me at Sworn Regina at gmail.com.
Now, let's take you into an episode of Regina Sworn Audio Series Presents.
Hello, welcome back to another episode of Regina Sworn Audio Series Presents.
How are you doing? I hope all of you are doing wonderful.
I am coming to you today in a brand new location. It's amazing and really beautiful here.
It's a very relaxing atmosphere here.
and I got my tea or coffee.
Whatever you drink, but I got my tea.
I want to speak about a couple of things today
and talk a little bit about season 10, which we are in.
I have already recorded a podcast a few days ago last week.
About that 2.8 million people listening to the memorial service.
in July, God is so good.
And I want to use this podcast as a tool to use for the Lord, you know?
Even when I have conversations with other people who are on here,
speaking about their lives or speaking about whatever,
I still dedicate this podcast to the Lord because, number one,
God is so good to me.
He's been so good to me
And so therefore
I owe him everything
The Lord
So welcome back
I'm going to be talking today
About a couple things
Season 10 of course
That we are already in
And I'm super excited
The music here in the background
Comes from our CD
From 2001
The Sworn Sisters and Friends
And it's called God's theme
beautiful music.
It was composed by
John Nathaniel Thomas,
our producer at the time.
Did an excellent job there.
Beautiful song, God's theme, beautiful music.
So, and that's what you hear.
That. As a matter of fact, the beginning of my podcast,
you hear that, the intro.
And, of course, the ending,
with
got Chris Murphy
Elliot
reaching for the stars
so now
let's go into
my podcast
right now
yay
as I said
I just want to talk
about a few things
I'm so excited
to be in
season 10
the story
behind this podcast
is I started it
and it was
only a couple
people listening to it
just my
sister Laura and myself being down a few others. And I was telling my sister Laura, we was doing a
Zoom call at the time. And I told her, I was like, I don't want to do this anymore. You know,
that's what I said to her. I said, I don't want to do this anymore. And she was like, what? You know,
she was sick, you know, delimate cancer. He said, what are you talking about, Gina? I said, I don't,
I don't think I want to do this podcast anymore.
Now, mind you, I had only just started, maybe three or four podcasts before, you know, the one that she was listening to.
And she's just, the flat blank told me, don't do it.
Do not stop recording these podcasts.
And every time that I even get a thought, a negative thought in my mind, I think about what she said to me.
Like, don't.
And so I think the word, because so many people listen to this podcast.
I love this podcast because unlike a lot of podcasts, if you, if this one is visual,
where you're looking at the person or what have you, you can't listen to it.
You can't be driving doing that.
But when my podcast, you can be on the road, you can be driving, you can be doing whatever you're doing.
And no problem.
So it's really super cool to have a podcast where you can listen.
And it reminds me of radio because I always love radio.
Always.
Even as a little girl, I was taken by radio.
I love radio.
Love it.
So thank you for coming back to listen to my podcast.
we're in season 10.
This is, I think, the third podcast in season 10.
We do have Murphy Elliott coming up this week, God's willing, I hope.
Things happen in life and sometimes we can't do what we want to do.
But coming up in season 10, coming up this week, hopefully we'll have Murphy Elliott.
As I said, I want to talk about a few things here.
I'm so thankful that the podcast performed so well in July, so well.
2.8 million people heard it, heard those two different services.
You know, the one with Elder Leonard Davis, with Elder Leonard Davis, he had his wife's telet testimony,
and he had her sister speak and read a scripture or two from the Bible.
Romans, I think both of them came from Romans.
And they came with the word of God.
You know, they preached with power.
They spoke with power.
I also had Pastor Tammy Watson.
That young lady, I tell you,
you, she's an amazing singer. She does a lot of things, you know. But I remember her growing up as a
little, from a little girl to the woman that she is. And I tell you right now, to have her
speaking, I think her topic was turned. It was amazing. Absolutely amazing. I mean,
had my cook, her cook that cook for us was over, you know, fixing some food. I'm vegan,
so I don't eat meat, but she was cooking for someone else as well, you know, and they eat meat.
So she was cooking for both of us. And I was recording Pastor Tammy Watson. She heard it.
She heard what was going on. And every time I think of this, it makes me kind of tear up a little bit
cry a little bit. She walked over to me, tap me on my shoulder, and she gave me the motion,
like, you're moving your lips, you can kind of tell what a person is seeing. And she said, I,
I want to give my life to God. I want to be saved. You know, I was like, oh, my God. So,
and I told Pastor Tammy about it, you know, I told her about it. So, I don't know who are out there
heard the podcast back into life.
Elder Leonard Davis, his wife, his sister,
and of course Pastor Tammy Watson.
I don't know who all heard that, but I know one thing,
2.8 million, I mean, that speaks volumes.
The way I get my total is the different radio stations that told me
how many people listen to the radio.
There's their radio station number one.
And how many people heard that podcast, those two podcasts,
how many times they played it?
You know, all of that go into effect,
all of that going to telling up these numbers.
And once everything was all,
it didn't just happen in one day.
The number figure came about maybe a week later,
or two weeks later.
And so I'm so excited, guys.
I'm so excited about that
because the Lord is just good.
He's good.
People out here in the world right now,
they are hurting.
Some people are really going to do things.
You've got people,
say they got going through mental health,
all kinds of things that people are going through.
All kinds.
Think about it.
So to be able to hear the word of God,
they didn't sugarcoat the word.
They brought the word forward with power.
And I like it when a person is living the life that they speak of.
You know, I didn't choose the speakers in July.
I did not choose them.
I keep telling people, it wasn't me that chose them.
It was the Lord himself.
I fasted, I prayed.
I wanted to know.
I wanted to know who I could choose to speak for the memorial services.
Who?
And there was a ton of names on there, a ton of names.
Oh, me God.
Just, I mean, but you know, the Lord, he's not like you and I.
He's different.
He told me who to let's speak.
It was the Lord that chose elder,
Leonard Davis.
And again, after Leonard Davis brought his wife,
Sister Donna Davis, who was a minister,
she told her testimony, a great testimony.
And his sister, oh my God,
he had a great testimony, she told that.
And I love the fact that they came from the Bible
and was reading the Bible.
He says so beautiful, just beautiful.
So I thank the Lord for that.
Service in July
Regina Soren audio series
Presents
is really growing. It's out there.
I wish right now I could tell Laura.
Hey, I didn't give it up.
We did it.
We did it, Laura.
We did it.
And I thank God for my sister
because, you know,
she was my biggest fan when I had my radio show.
She was my biggest fan in life.
He looked out for me
and everything in my life, Laura always looked out for me,
and that's why I miss her.
She was so proud of me.
If you go to Pentatris, Pinterest, I think it's, how do you pronounce that, Pinterest?
If you go up there right now, you will see that her entire Pinterest account was dedicated
to my radio show.
She was so proud of me.
She was so proud of my accomplishments.
And I miss her. I miss her. I miss that. There was no jealousy between us. She really loved me. I loved her. We had no jealousy between one another. We knew our place. When we would get up and sing, Laura would do her part, preaching or whatever. I would do the lead singing. And she knew my part in the ministry. And I knew her part. That's the most amazing thing about the two of us. We knew.
each other's role.
If I could say that, we knew it.
And that's why we got along so well.
And I just, if she could see me now, she would see that the podcast is still going on.
Still, still recording regardless.
So I'm thankful to the Lord for my sister, Laura L.
Warren, for encouraging me on her sick bed.
She encouraged me.
She was in pain, you know.
know, but she encouraged me, do not give up this podcast.
Don't give it up, Gina.
Don't.
And thank the Lord that I didn't.
I think the Lord.

Thanks a bunch, guys.
I want to talk about being kind.
You know, it caused absolutely nothing to be kind to a person.
and you don't know what it means.
I see people a lot of times.
And I say, oh, this is such a beautiful dress.
I love that dress.
Oh, I love that color you're wearing.
Oh, I love the way you're wearing your hair.
Oh, that's so pretty.
It doesn't hurt to be kind to people.
But some people, you'll bite your head off if you do it.
But a lot of people, they like you to be kind to them.
They're waiting for you to speak and say hello.
And sometimes I crack the eyes.
I go ahead and say hello.
how you doing?
And I'm a person that likes to say good morning,
whether you say good morning back to me.
That's on you.
I like saying good morning.
You got some sour lemons that don't like it,
but I like it.
It's a good morning because if I'm up all night,
God gave me breath,
God gave me life, God gave me strength.
If I just woke up in the morning,
and guess what?
The Lord woke me up.
Again, God gave me life, breath, strength.
all the Lord's.
So I gotta give God
Crazes. I gotta give God
thanks for all that He is
done or due in my life.
Which is so much.
So it don't hurt to be kind.
It causes you absolutely
nothing to be kind
to a person. Be kind
just because
another B?
Want to hear another B? Be real.
Real at what you're doing.
You know, I've
chose, God chose the speakers in July because I know that they're real in what they're doing.
There's no pretending.
It's no living, living a life over here.
And then over here, then you're Christian.
And over there, there, there, there's no going back and forth and nobody can see your, your personal life.
There's none of that.
I thank God for choosing the speakers in July.
I keep saying that.
I keep coming back to that because some people were like, well, why didn't you choose some of your
family members. Why didn't you choose some of them? They were right there when Lord passed away.
It wasn't about that, guys. It wasn't about that. If you feel some kind of way, you don't want to listen
to the podcast. It's okay because 2.8 million people listen to it, okay? So if you don't want to
listen to it and see what the Lord had to say, that's on you. I can't make you do it. But if you want to get
Matt because of who I chose to speak, who God chose to speak into your life, you got to take that up
with God. Now, please, don't. I'm just a messenger, okay? Don't shoot the messenger. Go take that up
with the Lord. Ask him why did he choose Elder Leonard Davis? Ask him, why did he choose Pastor Tammy
Watson? Ask the Lord that. And let me know what he said, okay? So I'm not going to sit here and
I don't have time for foolishness. I really don't.
I don't have time for it.
I'm a person that's about business.
Business in the Lord,
business in my life.
So I don't let people into my circle with foolishness.
I don't like any negativity whatsoever.
Do not, I repeat,
do not come around me with your head hanging down.
I don't like the poor, poor, beautiful me.
Poor me, poor me, poor me.
me, I don't like that. I'm just telling you, I don't like it. And I don't have it around me. I don't
have it in my circle. There's a fence around me. And there's a reason why there's a fence around me.
Uh, holy fence. A holy fence. Yeah, totally holy. I think, uh, sorry, I just clear my throat.
Now I want to talk about, I don't let everyone in my home. I don't. I don't believe in
letting everybody come into my house.
I don't.
I just don't.
A girl in the neighborhood
not too long ago,
I speak to her every morning,
say hello,
she walks her dogs or whatever,
say hello.
Try to give her a word of encouragement,
give her a pamphlet,
things like that,
you know,
just keep her encouraged.
I think she told me she was autism
and a bunch of other things
that she got.
She don't work anywhere,
but I don't like being mean to people either.
I just tell you, be kind.
But I don't let everybody in my house.
I don't.
So she came to the door, knocked on the door,
and said, I just wanted to come over.
Can I come over?
What?
I spoke with her outside the door.
You know, I had this screen thing up.
I spoke to her like that.
I just don't let everybody in my house.
And I'm not saying that to be like I'm better than anybody else.
I don't.
I'm not saying it for that reason.
I'm saying it because I don't let everybody into my house.
My house is a room of prayer, a place of prayer.
I don't let everybody into my house.
I don't.
Even if I know you, I just don't let people into my house like that.
I like it.
I keep my house super clean.
You walk in that door
if you're standing on the outside of my door.
It is clean.
I love keeping my place clean.
It smells good when you walk in.
It doesn't smell like anybody
even smoking weed or
drinking or whatever.
I keep it very clean.
I'm almost speaking span clean.
because just the kind of person I am.
I like a clean house.
I don't like stuff laying all around,
and I like these put up properly,
fold up properly,
and put in the correct place that it's supposed to be.
Just me.
Just me, guys.
And I'm not suffering from OCD
or what do you call that junk people that they got.
I don't suffer from all that crap.
I just like it to be clean, okay?
I like my place clean.
And so it has nothing to do with OCD,
OPB, and all that has nothing to do.
do with that. I don't even believe in that. I don't care about that, but I do care about
keeping my place super clean when people walk through or if you are allowed in my apartment.
It's very clean in here. Very clean. From the living room to the kitchen, to the bedroom, to the
bathroom, to the closet, to the front porch where you sit out. It's clean, guys. When I tell you,
believe me, it is clean. I love it. I don't like stuff laying on.
around. I don't like dirty dishes and sinks. I don't like all of that. I don't, and I won't
have that. So yeah, I keep my place pretty clean. I like that. I like staying clean. And that's my
reason. But I don't welcome everybody into my home. So I was very kind to her. I didn't be mean to her.
I wanted to know what she wanted. And she said, I just wanted to come over. Are you kidding me?
I work overnight.
Didn't work last night, but I work overnight.
And are you seriously kidding me?
When she said that, I just have to be up front.
I said, well, you're a wonderful person.
I got nothing against you.
I said, but I don't have people over my house like that.
I don't invite a bunch of different people over.
I don't.
I ask her, what is it that she needed?
And it kind of went from there, but I do not have.
of people over my house.
I don't.
Unless I invited you, I don't have everybody walking through my front door.
I really don't.
I don't believe in that.
So I don't.
I really don't.
So, but I guess I was really nice to her.
I say, you're okay?
Do you need anything?
And she told me, no.
I just, I say, is everything okay?
And she said, yeah, everything was fine.
So, and that was that.
And we said goodbye.
but I don't think she'll do that again, you know, because I just don't, I don't have everybody walking through my door.
I just do not do that.
I don't.
It's just me.
So my podcasts say people from all walks of life.
Now, sometimes you're going to hear guests on my show, guests from all walks of life.
but sometimes you're going to hear a podcast just like this one
where I'm doing a solo podcast
and I'm speaking to you about life,
about people,
about things,
about places.
But at all times,
lifting up the Lord because,
you know,
sometimes people don't want to listen to you about certain things
and they say,
da-da-da-da-da-da-da.
I always refer
them right back to the word of the Lord.
In proverbs, I believe it was,
it said, in all thy ways, acknowledge the Lord,
and he will direct your path.
And that's what I do.
I acknowledge the Lord in every single thing that I do,
every aspect of my life.
I acknowledge, I acknowledge the Lord.
Because without the Lord, I am nothing.
I can do not.
Nothing. And I have enough sense to know that.
So thank you all for listening to the podcast today. I just want to cover a few things here.
Take about 30 minutes to talk to you. Everyone is invited to my podcast. Little children can hear my podcast.
I'll start having a podcast for kids. I guess you can call it bedtime stories, but I think kids can listen to it at any time of the day.
It doesn't have to be bedtime.
Little kids need stuff, too, that they can listen to.
We've got the grown-ups, they got stuff.
Teenagers, they got stuff.
But the little kids, they need something as well.
So my podcast is for that.
I'm going to be reading stories from the Bible.
You guessed it.
Stories from books, biblical books,
that I'm going to be reading children's stories.
because, yeah, the kids need something as well.
So thank you all for listening today.
Season 10 is here.
Oh, God.
I'm just so thankful to God.
I know my sister, Laura, would be so proud of me.
She would be so proud and happy that her sister,
and she used to call me little sister.
I'm older than her, but she always called me little sister.
Boy, boy, I miss her so much.
I miss that woman.
I miss her, I miss her.
I miss her.
But anyways, I thank God that I carried on the podcast that she said, don't give it up.
I thank God because that 2.8 million people that heard the service in July would never have heard it had I not had this podcast.
So, God to you, be the glory.
God be the glory.
Hallelujah.
to God be the glory in my life, out of my life, on the site, to God be the glory.
So I thank all of you again for coming out.
You can contact me at sworn richina at gmail.com.
Yay.
Check out my podcast, guys.
Check it out.
It's online iHeartRadio, Ritina Sworn Audio series presents.
I received a few letters from a few moms out there.
And they were like, you know, whenever you do your children's stories,
please let us know the kids love your voice.
They love listening to you.
They call me Ms. Swaring.
They love listening to me.
And one of the mothers said, please just let us know.
The kids, they all gather around.
They listen to your voice.
and I'm like, is my voice so different?
Is it so different than other people's voice?
Tell me, guys, I don't know.
But, you know, some of the parents wrote me and telling me to see your voice is beautiful.
It's like butter.
Like, butter.
So, God is so good.
So I'm glad that I appeal to everyone.
I'm glad my podcast appealed to everybody across.
the board.
Men, women, boys, girls, grandparents, little children.
It appealed to everyone.
So I thank you all.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Contact me one more time.
It's Swerinutina at g.com.
My website would be functioning all over again very soon.
It's still online if you want to just go up and just go up there just to go by there.
But I'm rearranging things a little bit.
some things I've seen that that I want differently, you know, I really do. I want things to be
a little bit different. We are in season 10 for God's sake. So, and God is so good. So remember
to be kind. Be kind. Being kind costs you nothing. Absolutely nothing. Be kind. Sometimes people
are not kind, they're, but you just remember, you're going to reap what you plant. You're
and reap it. And when you do reap, you want to reap good seeds. So anytime you put something in the
ground, eventually it's coming back up. Same way with life. If you do something, make sure it's something
that is wonderful. Make sure it's something that's creative. Make sure it's something that's of value.
and make sure you are treating people the way that you want to be treated.
I see people in the morning time and they would bite your head off if you say good morning to them.
So I have to tread lightly on certain people as to not say to them good morning.
It may not be a good morning to you, but hallelujah, the Lord woke me up.
The God got me breathing, walking, talking.
got a roof over my head.
So it's a good morning to me.
So if it's not a good morning to you,
I don't know what to tell you.
I would just know not to say good morning to that person next time.
But it's not going to stop me from saying good morning altogether.
It's not going to stop me.
Because the Lord is good to me.
And God has no respect to a person.
You know, people do.
They got more respect for this one over here.
So they treat this one over here,
a certain kind of way.
And in that one over there,
I'm not going to give them those privileges.
But I think God is not like people.
I thank the Lord that the Lord don't have respect to a person,
favoritism.
The Lord don't have that mess.
I thank God because people got it.
Some people say they love God and they know God.
They got favoritism.
That's why I thank God for everything.
I thank God for this platform because, you know, again, I thank God for it,
because there's reaching so many people, you know, millions of people.
I can't just say hundreds.
I can't say thousands.
Now, I really have to say millions of people are being reached by this podcast.
And I thank God.
I thank God for the little budget he let me have, when I have a guest on,
I'm able to, you know, give them something for being on.
It just is who it is.
You don't want people just to come on and, you know, just,
I thank God for letting me be able to bless them.
When did you come on?
So thank you again.
Thank you again.
I've had a great time.
Today is almost 30 minutes.
Yay!
I hope you enjoy the music in the beginning of my podcast.
God's theme.
Yay.
Have a great day.
Have a great morning or wherever you are.
It could be nighttime now.
Have a wonderful night.
God bless you all.
Thank you.
Thanks for listening.
Okay, that concludes another great broadcast.
Thank you so much for joining me for Regina Swarine Audio Series.
