Sasquatch Chronicles - SC EP:1031 A Witch Screaming

Tonight I will be speaking to Jason. Jason had an encounter 29 years ago in Ohio. Jason said "We were just a bunch of teenagers hanging out in the woods. I heard what sounded like someone walking into our camp area. I thought it was just normal wildlife. I wasn't a woodsman so we hear this thing walk into the camp, it breaks a large branch off of a tree and then started screaming at us. I was physically shook. You played a vocal on your show that was really close to what we heard. I haven't been that scared in my life. My buddy started yelling it was a witch screaming. I am pretty sure it was no witch. Today is the Super Bowl! Go Chiefs!

Then the tree hit in the ground after we heard the branches snapping. And then that silence broke. We heard that scream that was out of this world, man. Out of this world. Man, it was just all I know is your eardrums rumbled. You felt it in your body. It was crazy. It was numbing.

I had no visuals of anyone around me. All you heard was feet hauling ass to this used car. It looked like somebody was bent over and had their head in the window of the deer blind, and it either heard me or smelt me, and he pulled his head out of the tent and stood straight up. And that shocked me. They don't make people that big. The way it moved, almost as if it was gliding across the beach. I've never seen anything move like that in my life.

They were screaming at each other in gibberish It sounded like a language And they were chuntering away back and forwards, back and forwards, back and forwards Back and forward I know what a bear looks like and there is no way on this planet But what I saw were bears What's on what are you reporting? Get somebody out here

What's on now, sir? That son of a bitch is about six foot nine, I don't know Do you see him now, sir? Yes, I'm looking at one. right here. Uh-uh. This is McKellie. This is Axel.

I'm excited for the game tonight, but I do appreciate you being here. We'll be chatting with Jason. And Jason had an encounter back in 1995 or 96, kind of the mid-90s out there in Ohio. And a very scary night.

What they experienced and what they heard, I'm going to try to play tonight in some audio to see if I can figure out. exactly what Jason heard. But I'll let him go into it. Jason, thanks for coming on. How's going, Wes? It's going well. It's going well. Appreciate you asking, Jason. And I know we're going to talk about your encounter that happened in Ohio. How long ago did this happen to you? This was a summer of 1995, my senior year in high school or the summer of 96. I'm not sure when.

I mean, they were both pretty much the same kind of summer. I went to a certain high school for three years. years. Then I was like, yeah, you know, I just wanted to change. So I went to a vocational school and I ended up hooking up with a buddy that I was best friends with for years since third grade. Uh, we were neighbors. His name was Joe. Real cool dude. And, uh, when I met him at the vocational school, I ran into, uh, some of his friends and ended up meeting my girlfriend at the time. And this other dude had this girlfriend or whatever, but anyway, there was six of us in this, uh, group that would hang out and go to raves or go to, you know, railroad tracks or bonfires. And these

were the people I kind of hung out with like were really outdoorsy people, you know, they just love nature and everything. And not that I don't, you know, I was just, I wasn't like an avid woodsman or something at the time, you know, I mean, I don't know. It was just what it was. So anyway, so one night we're decided where we're going to go, you know, have some drinks at or whatever, you know, just kick back and chill. Because normally, and just so the people know this area, this is the top of, the very top of Ohio. I mean, my stopping grounds, you know, I mean, where I was raised was small, me, Ohio.

And that's where I met Joe. Me, Joe and Brian, there was us three. And then there's another guy I'm not going to name who was the driver of the vehicle. he drove a station wagon had like that fake wood paneling all over the car we called it the shwagon wagon and uh so but we all fit in there and if one of our cars wasn't going this car was the beast man it was like we just piled in this car and we're just find a weird destination just go sit and party and chill talk whatever so one of the people out there mentioned hey you know i don't know who it was But somehow it got decided that let's go to Oak Openings.

And I'm thinking, like, is this like a metro park or something, you know? I don't know. It was dark out at this time. It's the middle of summer, you know. So, I mean, it's like 75 degrees out. It's just a light breeze. It's nighttime. We're ready to go do what we're going to do.

So we pile in the car and this dude driving. He had his girlfriend with him and I had my girlfriend with me. And then of course there was Joe and Brian. And so we get out there. We got all our supplies and whatever and just whatever we could carry. I mean, this was back when there was no cell phones or anything. You know, so I mean, all we had was like lighters and whatever. And we didn't even bother to bring flashlights.

I don't remember any flashlights there. So it was really hard to see until your eyes adjusted. But anyway, we drive out and we get to this place. And all I can see is trees for as far as the eye can see. and there was a guard rail kind of like what you see on a curve like to keep you from careening off the road in case you mess up or something

anyway, it was blocking this path that was cut through the forest and I had emailed you some pictures when I Google searched oak openings and I was trying to find that guardrail so I could be like, man, that's a spot. I could have moved since then but

I kept seeing all these pictures of the same trail but the leaves were kind of falling off but there was a lot of trees there. I mean, between this trail, which was maybe wide enough to drive a car down, that was completely blocked off on purpose. So we parked in front of that. We get on this path and it's just, you know, dirt. And if you can picture a tunnel, like imagine a, you know, the tunnel that has the round top. If you could imagine, like, walking through a tunnel, it was like a tunnel that was through the trees where this path was. It was purposely, you know, made there. And, uh,

There was just like a pinpoint of light that you could see way past, I mean, at the very end of the trail. So you knew there was a way out there and a way out the way we came in. So we're walking for a while. I can't remember anything we were talking about. We were probably just joking about whatever. I have no idea what we were talking about. But we probably walked in there like, I'd say, about a football field's length in. And Joe thought it was about a little bit longer than that, but I don't remember.

We were walking for a while, and Joe was hard for him because he was on crutches because he had sprained his foot. So we're going through this path, walking forever. Finally, we get to a spot where everyone's like, all right, you just want to show out here, whatever. So we sit on the ground. I don't know if we were sitting in a circle or randomly or whatever, but we're all packed in the same spot. he would have drove his car in there if we could have got it got to got the car in there but we couldn't so anyway we sit down have no idea what we're talking about all you can see is just like our faces dimly lit because there's not much uh moon coming through because it was just

the foliage was just covered like like it was a tunnel and you know you could hear uh you know the only reason I'm saying that you can hear things, because I don't recall hearing a bunch of crickets and noises, but everything seemed normal to us. And these people, I've been out to different parks with these people. I've heard dears. You know, you can, you can hear, you know, any kind of little critters are around. I don't think there's any big game or bears out there. I don't know. At this time, I'm thinking, whatever.

And I really wasn't thinking, you know, any, like we weren't worried about anything. The reason I was saying it was a regular noise is because later, when we're sitting there, maybe a half hour could be 45 minutes later, everything got really quiet. Like, you know, whenever one, even when you're with a group of people and then they stopped talking and you get that awkward silence, it was kind of like that. and every like we were in a bubble of silence like you could hear a pin drop and i mean and it wasn't just us not talking you just didn't you just couldn't hear anything and then we did hear uh me and joe at least i know because i i talked to him he heard some crunching i did too

you know we thought nothing of it then the crunching got a little louder didn't i wasn't thinking to myself, does this have four legs? Does this have two legs? I was just thinking, what is that, man? You know, like, because we'd gotten in trouble sometimes going to some places we've gone to. So for all, other people could have been thinking they might think it was like some kind of ranger or a police officer or something. The crunching got louder. Then it started like, sounding like some thick branches were being like broken off these, off some of these trees. like what the hell is that? Maybe it was a deer.

Maybe it was something simple. A raccoon climbing a tree. And now I've heard some weird sounds before. But I'll get to that in a second. But the loud sound that came up next sounded like a full-grown tree. I don't even know how tall these trees were. But the canopy was pretty high. These, I don't know how tall oak trees get.

I don't pay attention to that. But it was up there. But anyway, when you hear, you know, we hear someone cut down a tree, they cut that little slice off and there's like that little bit left when the tree falls, it just kind of cracks and it's not that loud. This was the sound of an entire tree being snapped somewhere above the ground. It sounded like lightning and thunder. But this tree split and we were up. We were all alert then. And I'd have to say right after this gigantic tree, lightning thunder sounds split and it hit the bottom of the forest or whatever floor, we were up.

We're alert. And then we heard this, it was like a, if you can think of a teapot kettle, starting to just wease, like, you know, just start to get boiling like it's just rising and sound. And this continued for a while. It was rising in sound. And it evolved into a scream like I've never heard in my life. I mean, it sounded like, it was like it reminds me a Jurassic Park, man. Not that it sounded like a freaking dinosaur. It was obviously a probably smaller sound than that, but it really reminded me of

kind of like that scream where that dude got stuck in the mud and that thing. flared its ears out and kind of screamed at them, but like times a thousand. It was like a female, a bunch of females being crushed and having this amplified. I mean, it was, it was unreal. I'm surprised our eardrums weren't perforated with this scream. It just rose up and it was just like, I mean, it was just, it sounded female, but with like some low undertones into it too. Like a scream I've never heard.

No animal on this planet that I've ever heard. And I've watched lots of nature shows. I get into that. And I mean, I've explored. I've never heard a sound, never heard a sound like it. Except when you kind of ran through some of the sounds that you had on your show, one of them, it wasn't the Ohio sound. It was, I don't know. It sounded like a banshee.

It was so shocking. It was bone chilling. It was, there was no time to think. We all ran. I wasn't even thinking about Joe. I wasn't thinking about his crutches. I wasn't thinking about anyone next to me. And I had deck shoes on.

I wore deck shoes everywhere. You know, just slid my feet in these deck shoes, had some shorts on. And to keep these shoes on my feet, and I mean, I was a fast person. I mean, I felt like I was floating. I was running so fast. you get that adrenaline going, but I had to clinch my feet up into like fists to keep my shoes from flying off. But right before that happened, Joe specifically said, and it's the only words I remember

from that night, word for word. He said, it's the evil witch, bitch, bitch. Or it's the evil witch bitch. And, you know, he, I mean, he said that and we took off. And he took off on a fractured foot in a brace without his crutches. I didn't notice this. And he had turned around real quick. And while we're all in mid-sprint, all these six people, ran back, grabbed his crutches and still managed to catch up to us hauling ass out of this place.

And we're running a long way to get to this car. And I mean, to me, it didn't, it wasn't, it wasn't occurring to me, you know, what this might be or whatever. I mean, there was no thought. There was, there was nothing. There was just running. So, when I was talking to Joe on the phone about this, I was like, I was like, you grabbed your crutches. And he's like, yeah, and I caught up to you guys. Because he said his mother would have been pissed if he would have left his crutches somewhere.

if it was me, I would have probably just left the crutches. But we get back to the car and thank God. And I didn't know what we said when we got back into the car. So I asked Joe, I was like, what happened when we got back to the car? He's like, man, everyone was screaming and we peeled out of there. And me, Joe and Brian, as far as I know, who I also talked to, he, nobody remembers what we were, what we are saying in the car everyone was just rattled and we have I have no idea where we went after that the whole night is a blur after that that's the only thing I remember from that night just that blood curdling banshee type female scream that was unearthly and I mean I've heard like coyotes and like different other sounds like animals like like I didn't know like small animals that you you know, can make sounds that are very confusing to people, you know, until they find out

what it is. And, but you never heard this in my life. Yeah. When they vocalize, it's definitely terrifying when you hear it. I know, and I, and even in the forest, sound bounces around a lot, but how far away do you think this thing was from you when it was screaming? Okay, well, after the tree crashed, and that, that felt like, I don't know, maybe 25 yards away, maybe a little closer.

I'd say that the scream, Joe thought the scream happened a little farther away than I did. He thought it, you know, I can't recall exactly what he said, but, you know, he thought it was farther away. I'm thinking it was, I told him I was like, dude, this must have been like 15 feet away or something. It sounded like there was, you know, in your town, when like there's a siren going off to let the town know that there's a storm. or something that's like, you know, real loud. I pictured my ear being about a foot away from that speaker, and that's how loud it was. I mean, because, you know, in later years, you know,

I mean, I've played guitar on a lot of stages, have been at a lot of concerts in front of speakers, and it was a week compared to the sound. Yeah, I'm wondering if the sound that you guys heard that night, did it sound like this? In shots, your show, while it was playing right when I heard kind of something like it, but I'd have to go through a bunch of them with you on the phone. It'd take too much time.

But that, it was kind of like that, but it was much louder, much, you know, more female. Of course, I'm listening to a recording that happened, you know, far away. But, but, yeah, it just sounded like a straight up screen. Actually, let me look. look in my YouTube history because I listened to a guy last night because I was falling asleep. One story here. Here we go. Okay, I have a screenshot from it says Sounds with Jim Sherman episode SCEP 836 at nine minutes and 16 seconds.

I took a screenshot of that moment. Yeah, the clip I just played was from Jim Sherman. Let's take a look, though. Episode 836 at 916. And all of a sudden I had this unbelievable feeling of cold. You sure it wasn't one hour in nine minutes and 16 seconds? Because here's what I have. Yeah, that kind of reminds me of the Sonomish County Washington Scream.

I think it was recorded back in 2000. 2003. It's very similar to what Jim Sherman captured, but this might be closer to what you heard as you're describing it, you know, going on and on and on. Yeah, you know why now people say it sounded very demonic. But did that sound closer? One of them did sound. It was just extended. That scream lasted for a while. I mean, if it was like a, I mean, a coyote or something else. I mean, just, I mean, some of these little animals can get louder. sound more vicious than you think. I know I've heard him, but this was unearthly, man. I mean, Joe thought it sounded, he told me on the phone the other day. He straight up said it sounded demonic to him. I believe in the Bible and everything. And I've grown up on that stuff. And, you know, I mean, we were, you know, we were some pretty hardcore centers back in the day, you know, I mean, now that I think, you know, I've heard a few of your guests that came on

there that we're talking about, you know, well, it could be, you know, some fallen angels or Nephilim or something or whatever, but it could have been. I wish I could have, I wish I could have seen that. I would like to see one. And, you know, I mean, we pretty much did not follow your rule, which I, I heard for the first time last night in one of your stories that you asked us, you were going to tell this one guy not to run because you look like prey. We must have just looked like easy prey. If it could have just snatched one of us out, you know. I didn't hear any pacing or anything running after us.

The sound was just so loud, like it lit up the forest, man. Like it was crazy. Yeah, it's a scary night for sure. I always say, you know, it's one of those things to where it's almost more scary when you don't see it as opposed to when you do see it. Because, you know, when you see it, you can at least anticipate what is. it's going to do when you can't see anything, the fear almost kind of takes over. And I do think it was one of these creatures that came into your camp.

You know, 29 years later, besides it walking in and everything going quiet, all the other things surrounding what happened to you guys, the vocal that you heard, I know when he started researching it later, is that kind of what made you think, oh, this is probably as Sasquatch. This is probably what this is. It was kind of matching up the vocal, but the thing is, nothing earthly that I know of could just snap a tree that you could barely probably get your hands around in half. We didn't go back to ever see the tree. I didn't turn when I was running to see what made

the sound. All I know is your eardrums rumbled, you felt it in your body. It was crazy. It was numbing. I had no visuals of anyone around me. All you heard was feet hauling ass to this dude's car. And maybe it was, I don't know, selfish of all of us, but I think everyone was just running like to save the rest, you know? You know, and that's fine. I'm just glad Joe was able to make it on that fractured foot.

Yeah, I'm glad he made it too. And it shows you what fear does, man, take off. running with one leg and practically I run everyone. You know, I want to get into some of these weird UFO encounters that you had. I know there's two. They're very brief, but I'm fascinated by people who are seeing this in the sky. Before we get into that, I ask everyone on the show, what do you think Sasquatch is? And I'm curious, you know, after 29 years, what are your thoughts? What do you think this creature is? I think it's been around for a long time. I mean, There's lots of documentation of it.

And I think just because there's not a photo or a hair sample or I'm sure people have them. I'm sure they probably got one somewhere. It's probably just being hidden from just like, you know, when we started seeing the UFO stuff on TV, they were just kind of easing the public into it a little bit. You've had what, tens of thousands of people you've talked to. I mean, the show I was listening to with you last night was like in the 800. So, I mean, these people are all people you've known for years. And they're like, you know, West, we'd love you to be at this thing.

And, you know, watch this Gimlin movie. We're making 70 DVDs and stuff, you know. So, I mean, you got, I mean, you have a lot of experience on this stuff. I wouldn't have called anyone else with this story because they'd just be like, okay, you heard whatever. You guys were, you guys were trashed or whatever. It's like, we didn't have a chance to get trashed yet, you know. So, I mean, you know, we went in there with some drinks, a little bit of bud, was just going to chill. And it turned out to be, there was something didn't want us in there.

And I didn't get any, you know, weird smells or weird feelings come over our body besides a numbing silence. Like we were in a, like in a bubble of silence. Then the tree hit in the ground after we heard the branches snapping. And then that silence broke. We heard that scream that was out of this world, man. Out of this world. Man, it was just, it was insane. But what I think it is is I think they've been around for a long time.

I think that they've become so adept their environment, like an octopus or something else. They can just blend right in, you know, look like a stump all mossy and nasty or whatever, you know, and dreaded, you know, you've had guests where they were standing right next to them, and they didn't even know until they saw the slightest movement. And you know what? I think that some of these things want to be seen. I think they're kind of curious about people. It might be a cave.

You know, there's all kinds of races of people all over the world. There's probably different races of this certain thing that's become so adept at its environment that it's like, kind of like predator in a way. You know what I mean? And I mean, I would love to see one. Like I heard an episode after I found your channel of you being in Texas and you saying it was like the coolest place you ever been. Like it was like Jurassic Park or something or you were someone was telling you about it or that you, they want to take you there or something or you were there. You said there was a lot of activity at the spot in Texas and it was just like the coolest place.

If I was independently wealthy, I'd be like, Wes, let's get on a jet. Let's go take me to this place. If I could just see one, you know, I mean, you know, there's a chance you could get hit crossing the street by a bus tomorrow. I mean, if I'm getting to eat by a Sasquatch, you know, whatever, you know, I got to see one. Yeah, I'd be careful what you wish for. I understand where you're coming from. And it's really hard to pinpoint what these creatures are because you can almost go in any direction and you can take evidence with you and go, this is what I think it is. And you might be right.

I wanted to ask you about this UFO sighting. When did this happen? And if you would, tell me what you saw. Now, the area before Oak Openings is within the past mommy. like in the Mon Clova White House area. And also, you know, keep going farther, you can just get more country, more desolation, and whatever, like country roads and stuff.

Anyway, there's a specific street name. It was called Weckerly. And so I Googled Weckerly in Ohio, and I made sure that it was right around these areas. And Weckerly runs across White House and Monclova. Like, it's a super low. long road, but this section of road we were on, and it was there. So I had a friend in high school before I went to the vocational school. We've been friends way into adulthood, we're in bands

together and stuff. And, you know, over time, people just lose touch. So I don't talk to these two people anymore, so I'm not going to name them. So I was just like my best friend from high school and I had met this girl through his girlfriend or whatever. It was just one of her friends. It wasn't like I was trying to hook up. It was just, we were going out to this girl's house and she just kind of became a friend of our little group that we had. And she lived on Weckley Road. So, and we go to her house all, you know, lots of times to have bonfires and stuff. And I mean, the property was kind of disheveled and you had like different generations. of family members living in this house.

It kind of reminded me at like a Sanford and son kind of situation. They had stuff laying around, but, you know, the family was cool. Parents were cool. Uncle was cool. And these people were just cool with us

being at their, you know, hanging out with their house. I mean, at least they knew where all of us were. So one night, just me and my buddy, we go out to this girl's house. It's late at night. We were just going to chill out. And back in the day,

day, I mean, I'd bring little cameras, those disposable cameras, everywhere I went, or even a Polaroid at one point to just, you know, to just remember my childhood. You know, I always like taking pictures. So it's pitch blackout in the middle of nowhere. And this, this is just as desolate as that for us, but it's at some girl's house. And it's a summer night. And we're by this little stream by her house and the driveway is not too far far. She had a big long dirt driveway that went out to the road. And then the house was just right there. And then there was like barns and equipment and tractor stuff and some broken down cars or whatever. I don't know. But just in the distance, we're out in her driveway, just chatting amongst ourselves, me, her and this other dude that it was like my best bud at the time. And I'm looking off and it was a very clear night.

You could see some stars, you know, but it wasn't like littered with stars, but you could see a few. And in the distance, I'm standing in the middle of this girl's driveway in the dark. It's dimly lit so I can see the sky pretty darn good. And there was this pinpoint. There was a small white dot. And I'm like, man, do you guys see that? And they saw it. And I was like, what, what is this?

And they're like, I don't know, it's probably a plane or something, you know. So anyway, this thing starts to dig it get closer and closer. And it becomes very, very, very silent. I mean, you could hear a pin drop again in this situation. Within five minutes, it was a pinpoint of light to being closer, closer, closer, directly over our head, directly over our head. I mean, like 200 feet up. And it was like one of the things you saw in the news.

It looked like a boomerang. It looked like a triangle, but it looked like some of the triangle was cut out. So it looked like a less than, greater van sign in the air with three lights on it at all the points. And it was just there right above our heads making zero sound. We're hearing zero sounds. and it just slowly I mean the distance it must have covered within the five minutes we were on it

must have been thousands of miles I mean but it looked like it was moving in slow motion over our head for the incredible speed it must have taken to get from where it started to where we were at I was just like damn I was like

that's a UFO man I was like we've seen a UFO I ran when we were seeing a UFO I ran when we were seeing a and that in the driveway, it was it was approaching. I left this part out. I ran into Melissa's house. And I think people were sleeping or something. And they had a dog that might have been barking. I'm digging through a bag trying to find the camera that I had with me. And I just could not find it in time. And I ran back out there. It was still there. You know, still going in slow

ocean, just going away, you know, like nothing ever happened. Then we were shocked and talking about it and it was just it was a trip man so that was the that was the one but yeah that one happened off of a specifically wackerly road i remember that in the middle of kind of nowhere out in the and it was right next to a very densely forested area which we didn't end up exploring one time and came home a bunch of people and we were covered with ticks like covered so much we were picking them all off each other it was crazy Yeah, it makes me wonder what's going to happen with this whole UFO thing. And again, I know this is back many years ago, but people have been seeing these things forever.

And they'll describe it the way you described it, Jason. They'll talk about it being, you know, this craft is right there. And then you blink your eyes and it's gone. It like blinked out. It moved so quickly. Or in your case, you saw it as a small, look like a tiny star and bam, it's right there. Very strange. Tell me about the second one.

The second one's not as exciting. This is back more toward my youth, rewinding back some years. I don't know. My great aunt was babysitting me and me and my sister. And she was just about to leave because my mom had got home from work or something. It was dark out. And I mean, and this is right smack dab in the middle of the suburbs. And I look up in the sky.

My aunt and my mom are talking. My aunt's trying to get out the door. She's like, all right, well, I'll see you guys. And she's talking to my sister and my mom or whatever. And I'm standing out on the porch. And before she came outside, I look up and I see a saucer, man. I saw a saucer with lights, a bunch of little lights all the way around it. And it almost seemed that they were, they'd go around, bump into each other and come back around the other way.

Like they were doing 180s, bump 180, bump, 180. bump, you know, and I could see it. And then she was coming out the door, I think I was trying to tell her what I was seeing, and it was gone. And those are, I guess those are my amazing stories. Yeah, no, I appreciate you sharing it. I'm fascinated by these UFO accounts, and it's been going on, obviously, for many, many years. And not too long ago, if you saw UFO, you were crazy. And now, now. it's like, oh, yeah, I've seen one too. And, you know, I kind of see the Sasquatch subject going that way, too. It's becoming more normal for people to go, hey, I saw this. You know, it wasn't a bear, what I saw. But, you know, I think people are becoming more and more open to share it. And, you know, you probably have 10 times in knowledge that you would have had access to back in 1995. And, you know, as far as their vocalizations, go, I get why people, you know, they'll say demonic or they'll say, and they might be right, but I find it fascinating, you know, even like your friend, you know, it's a witch. It's a witch out here. That's kind of where your mind goes, especially when you hear these creepy vocalizations that they do.

Yeah, he's the one that's like, he's like, dude, it sounded like a banshee. It sounded demonic. So you told me the other day on the phone, I was like, I just want to make. sure I get this right before I talked to this dude on the internet or whatever. You know, I was like, I'm going to make sure this is straight. I don't want any falsities. I don't want any embellishments. I don't want any things to just make it more exciting than it was.

Because I've heard some people paint some pictures to where I felt like I was there. Like their stories were so crisp in their minds. They had to see something because it was so detailed and so shocking. And let's, I mean, it was some of the stories I've heard these people tell. I mean, there can't be, you know, hundreds of thousands of people that are just suffering some mass delusion. You know what I mean? Yeah, it's almost more crazy to believe that all of these people are delusional as opposed to maybe they're actually running into something. And people are running into something for sure.

It's not your normal wildlife. It's not a coyote coming in. It's not a bear coming in. It's something very, very different. And even with encounters, there's weird things that go on. It's really hard to kind of pinpoint what they are. But, you know, the way we move forward is having people like you on and sharing their encounter, Jason. And I really do appreciate you taking the time to come on and share it.

Hey, I'm totally appreciative of your show. the reason I chose to call into your show was just because how amazing the stories were and how well the show was put together. I know you mentioned before that you're having sound trouble or whatever. I started to listen to the episodes that were in the hundreds. You know, like what really stuck out in my mind

was when Les told you what, you know, he heard in his head that one night and he didn't want to tell the bigwigs because he'd be like, oh, whatever, you know. And he heard, if you want to meet us, David Knight. And he wasn't ready to do it, you know. But I thought that was pretty cool, man, that he came out and said something like that,

especially being a public figure. You know what I mean? I can't imagine how many other people out there are holding on to a story that's just remarkable that still needs to hit your show. But my brother-in-law, who's a beyond avid hunter, I mean, he lives and breathes it. And, I mean, I haven't talked to him yet. I didn't want to just call him and just say, hey, man, did you see something? I'm going to be on your show. You know, I'm going to wait until we go to the next time we go over for a family thing

or whatever, start talk about hunting or whatever, you know, because we've shot guns at his house and stuff. And, I mean, this dude must have heard every sound there probably is possible. And I wouldn't be surprised if he probably heard something. So it'll be interesting when I do talk to him. And if I do hear anything else from anybody or whatever, I will refer them to you to send you an email. I'll never, I'll never give your contact information away, you know, like your number or anything. Yeah, I don't really mind if you give him my number. I gave Tony Markle from

the Confessionals podcast my phone number. So, I mean, that's kind of your, that's kind of the gauge for who gets a number. I mean, if he gets it, I'll probably give it to anyone. No, but I, all joking aside, I do really appreciate you coming on. I know you're nervous coming on. And It's not the easiest thing to come on and talk about events in your life. when you're explaining a story of someone and they're just kind of nodding along, like, you know, they're just trying to kind of coddle your thought or whatever.
